Hovered upward, then turned in a 90-degree angle and sped out of sight The object looked somewhat like a star, but it took a while to tell otherwise. It hovered over the hillside, then started traveling slowly upward. Then it shot off to the right and went out of sight, leaving a weak trail that disappeared completely within about 5 seconds.

It couldn't have been any type of aircraft controlled by man, for the sudden change of direction was too perfect: an exact right angle. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. PD)).

The object was cylinder shaped and had a light coming out of the bottom Well, this wasn't exactly an encounter, but.I was outside, and it was very cold. I had just bought a camera, and the night sky seemed extremely pretty so i thought I'd take a picture of it.

A couple of weeks passed and when i developed the film, I didn't notice anything at first. But when I looked at it some other time, in the bottom left hand corner of the photograph, a cylinder shaped object There is a light underneath the "object" and the light helps make out the image or body line of the object. I know for a fact that this wasn't a plane because I remember there being no planes in the area, and there were no light or anything else on outside my house or in the area.

White triangular craft flying low and slow over Manchester CT. On October 24th 2002 I was standing on my deck and heard what sounded like a low flying prop plane. I looked up and saw a low flying triangular shaped craft.

The color being white. I called for my Daughter to come out and witness this strange craft. I did not believe this to be an ultralight craft as it was too large and too loud.

There were no apparent windows or a cockpit. There was no apparent landing gear or propellers. It left no contrail.

The sky was bright blue with few high thin clouds, none of which were above the said craft. The craft was moving fairly slow coming from the west and heading east. Less than one minute after the craft passed over my house a military helicopter followed the same exact flight path but was moving fast.

I thought this might have been some sort of military drone but have yet to find any examples that fit the exact shape of the craft we saw. ((NUFORC Note: Might have been a VariViggen experimental aircraft, but that is a guess. It may also have been a piece of military equipment.

first noticed while looking up at the constelation plaedes. it was three points of light traveling from horizon to horizon at a slow rate of speed. no apparent oscilation.

the three points created an equalateral triangle. i dont know if or of any satelite formations fit this description.

A Glow in the Sky. I was standing outside of my home this morning, waiting for my school bus to arrive. I looked up at the sky and saw a large, egg shaped, glowing orb in the sky.

It slowly moved around in a clockwise motion, as if it was hovering over or searching for a specific object. It was glowing very brightly, and that made it hard to get a clear view at the object. I checked the sky and saw that the sun was not yet up, so it could not have been that.

It lasted for about 20 seconds (23estimate) and then disappeared, moving faster than I have ever seen anything move before.

Bright stationary oval in western sky, changing from white to red to greenish blue, no noise at all, dogs barking in neighborhood I was taking out the trash and I heard dogs barking like carzy, I looked over across to the neighbors back yard and there was a bright oval in the sky, it was changing color slowly from white to red to greenish blue, I sat there and watched in amazement for about 5 minutes, then it got really really dim, I waited a few seconds, it got at least twice as bright as it was and then it just dissapered. It sat quite a bit above the horrizon. It didnt make any noise at all, it just was gone.

I have a solid background in aircraft knowledge and this is not like anything I have ever seen before. It didnt move at all throughout the whole incident, it stayed completely stationary.

a ball of light appeared out of the atmosphere over the highway and dove to the right behind trees while driving south on I-95 near exit 19 in Conn. i witnessed a sphere appear suddenly out of the atmoshpere. It was about 2 to 3 lamposts ahead of me over the highway.

It dove to the right off the highway behind trees. It was very bright. I could see the illumination shining through the trees .

All it seemed to be was a ball of light. Its color was white with a blue hue. It made no sound.

I could see no craft attached to it. I know it wasn't a hellicopter. The sighting lasted about 4 seconds.

This happened 8/22/02 at 3AM. I am a licensed massage therapist. 36 y.

Star Shaped Object, Near Aircraft in Sky, Bright Flash, Moving slowly across sky, disapears.suddenly In Goshen near Mohawk Mountain, some friends and I where laying down on the trapoline when we me and my friend where staring at this Star suddenly it flashed bright as if something near it exploded then it started to move slowly across the sky and vanished, a few mins later we spotted another one yet this one didn't flash we looked away just for a second and it was gone. It could of been space debrise but you never know.

Dark spherical object sighted moving south to north at a rapid pace in the Litchfield Hills area of Connecticut. There was one craft dark gray to black in color. The shape was a squashed sphere.

There appeared to be a lump on the bottom center. It appeared metalic. It traveled from south to north smoothly and without a sound.

We get many balloons over this area. This object did not appear to be a balloon as it traveled much faster. We are located at N40º 32.

517' W73º 20.131'. I was in the back yard at dusk when I looked up to observe a private plane flying over head north to south.

I then noticed the object higher and to our west traveling south to north. At first I thought it was another plane, but there was no sound. It looked round and not at all like a plane.

I would have dismissed it at that point as a balloon were it not for the color and speed of travel. I ran to the house for binoculars and sure enough it was indeed round (spherical) in shape. My wife and I watched until it disappeared to the north.

saw a bizzare star at 3:30 am I was sleeping and i woke up to use the bathroom. When i went back to bed i looked out of the sliding doors up into a southeast sky. There apeared to only be one star.

But as i stared longer i noticed it was blinking like a plane only not so fast. It was hovering. so i watched longer as a plane crossed its path and blocked it from my sight.

It was still there and keeping me awake , so i got annoyed at it. Then it seemed to jerk up then back down then it jerked to the left in weird circular motion.But it never left so i fell back asleep.

Earlier that evening i saw a shooting star type thing to the northwest. It didnt have a trail like other shooting stars do. And it didnt just disapear like shooting stars do.

it crossed the sky a distance before it disapeared. i thought nothing of it until my sighting.

A saucer that mimicked our plane and helicopter blinking lights. It hovered low just high enought to see, but the trees got in the way. It flashed red and blue lights like a plane, but was very quite and unusually slow.

WE followed it the best we could. It was long and had a dome on the top. A green light reflected off the dome and what,seemed, like the moon's light reflecting off of the craft.

After following it for ten minutes, it vanished without a trace. It wasn't a helicopter, because we would have heard the chopping sound. It wasn't a plane, it was too low and very quiet, like it was scanning the sleeping neighborhood below.

I witnessed an abduction from my backyard. I was playing in my backyard at 6:00 and suddenly I saw something in the sky. I watched the craft as it wobbled around then a light came out from it.

The light was so bright that I had to turn away. I looked at it again and it shot upwards with screaming coming out of it.

UFO Sighting Monday Evening! My daughter was outside at 8:45pm with our camcorder. Three girls saw this white ball of light come up and over the trees. It moved so fast we had to look twice.

When we viewed the tape it looked like a UFO. I have never seen anything like this. We do live near a neuclear power plant also.

Do you know of any sightings on that evening in Old Saybrook, CT? This was really wild. unlike anything I have seen before. I am saving the tape of this sighting.

It is a film camcorder, not digital.

It was extremely odd, and was like nothing I had Ever seen before, I hope, whatever it is, It's not a od sign. Well, I was at my grandmothers house, and I was going outside to get my other pen for my drawing notebook, and I heard this humming sound. I thought it was just my grandmother's neighbor doing some last minute yard work, so i didn't really care.

I got out of the car again and it got louder. I walked over to where it was loudest, and it was coming from this short grove of trees in the back of my grandmothers house. I just kept walking until I heard it start to get really loud.

I looked up and saw a.how should I describe it.purple like blue glow above the trees.

By now I was PRETTY scared, and I started reciting a couple prayers from the bible. Then this circular craft came out of the trees, and just hovered there, and it had these purple designs around the top of the dome. They were formed in circles with lines coming out of the sides, and they were just, glowing.

But they didn't glow normally, they were sort of, pulsating, like blood in our vains, purple colors. It was really wierd. The, this light sort of skimmed across the whole craft, like the sun reflecting of of metal, and when it left, the craft justtook off, slow at first, then fast.

I just watched it until it wasn't visible anymore. The craft was, I'm guessing, ABOUT maybe thirty feet in diameter, with the designs on the sides, and it looked like it was made of a really shiny metal, and the pulsating purple was like a design or a date or something on it. Either way the whole experience couldn't have been something I made up because I'm not the kind of person who makes this stuff up out of my mind.

four lights, one large, moved with no sound, very large craft. it came over the trees and made no sound. coming toward me very slowly, about 200 yards away.

it had about four lights. one of the lights was much larger than the others. the larger light was round and moved back forth in a searching motion, in fact it was the color of a flash light ( yellowish white ).

it appeared to be coming in my direction but changed from west to south, going very slowly with no sound . it had no distinguishable shape because of a mist? around it. all the lights were the same color and the smaller ones seemed stationary.

Silent, fast moving metalic object passed directly overhead & sped just over the tree tops & out of view. It was May 19, 2002 at around 2:55PM, I was sitting by myself on the front steps of a multi family house that I owned in Lisbon, CT, just south of Jewett City, CT. I just happened to look up & noticed an object passing directly overhead, not much higher than the tree tops.

It was moving incredibly fast & did not make a sound. When I first noticed it, it was directly overhead & it had a round, black underside, which appeared as a black circular disk. As it passed heading west I got a good look at the object.

It had a smooth oval shape & was silvery metallic in color. The sun was glinting off the object. It went just over the tree tops & was quickly out of view.

The best thing I can think of to compare it to is an Airstream Trailer, only more round, with no visible windows & with a dark, frying pan like bottom. I served in the US Air Force & US Army Reserves 1982-1991. Part of my military occupational specialty entailed reporting to the National Security Agency (NSA) on Soviet & East German Air Force activity, including aircraft speeds & descriptions.

I held a top secret security clearance. This object was heading in the direction of a hydro-electric plant about five miles away in Baltic, CT. I had a friend who had told me that he & others had seen such an object hovering over the hydro-electric plant.

I heard that some other people in Southeastern Connecticut had witnessed an unidentified object in the sky that day, but I have not been able to find any accounts of this on-line that coincide with the date of my sighting. I took a photograph of the area where the object had passed. I drew a picture of the object into the photo using computer graphics & notated the date.

Bright object moving almost like a circuliar rocket. I was taking a walk on out skirts of Meriden. Up out ahead of me I was a wierd shaped object almost circular, but hard to say shape.

It was around 5 in the evening and the sun was setting and the sun reflected on it and it just kept on moving toward Chesire and Southington. I only saw it for about 30 secs, but those thirty seconds were incredible they way the sun reflected of it, it wasnt like a mirror relecting , it wasnt so bright that it hurt to look at it, it was a slight reflection. It was amazing.

I just forgot about it inventually and last night all of a sudin almost like a flash back I just like went back to that day and almost relived the moment. Thus I went online hoping to see similiar apperances, unfortunitly i was unable to. Initially i thought maybe it was the space station but it deffinitly wasnt it was about the height maybe slightly under a plane would fly.

Well,it was me (n/a) and a friend (n/a) and i was inside she was outside and she called me outside and said come outside and look at the ufo's! when i went out side i saw two little dots in the sky following each other. Then one disapeared and when the other one got to that same spot it disapeared too. They looked like little white dots.

Fast moving large bright object seen over south central Connecticut at 1:35 AM on 3-28-02. Please be sure that I am as serious as could be. I had just come home from work.

I just stepped out of my car when I saw it just below and to the right of the moon. It was traveling very quickily, with no sound, in a westerly direction. My first impression was that this was a piece of space junk re-entering the atmosphere.

However it was by far the largest object that I have ever seen of this type, meaning such as meteors. It appeared to be about one twentieth the size of the full moon and brighter. The leading edge seemed to be a greenish color.

I had limited view of the object due to my house.
