((NUFORC Note: Witness has sent 32 video and still attachments in support of his report. In our opinion, the object is not inconsistent with a large, high-flying, semi-tetrahedral shaped, transparent helium-filled balloon. The object even drifts slowly across the field of view of the camera, and seems to rotate, or "tumble" slightly.
Perhaps one of our readers could confirm whether there might have been a balloon launched out of the balloon facility in the Southwest. PD)) slow moving object evolves from a light green colored embryo shape to a full saucer with tent top and wht bulb like trim. Object appeared, without the use of camcorder, as a bright white round light the size of a pencil eraser in the Southern skies of Santa Fe.
As I started to film, the object looked like it was starting to fry like an egg until you started to see the bottom appear to start rolling up from the bottom. The object all the while started to pitch a pointed roof on top as the bottom rolled up to the middle where there was a slow revolving red light. As it continued slowly rotating, the pitch of the roof started to flatten out as round folding table top looking wings started to develop.
The object then evolved itself into an object that looked much like a garlic or acorn. This means that the pitched roof on top of object sucked itself in like a flexible piece of aluminum while the bottom body remained looking like the bottom part of a garlic. As I continued to film for 15 minutes more, the object flattened out for another 3 to 4 minutes, meaning you could no longer see the top at all, however, the bottom finally started to flatten itself out horizontally like the traditional frisby like looking disk.
As I filmed for another 3 to 4 minutes, the object popped (or should I say sprouted) it's roof up from the inside up then out just like a mushroom or a volcano. Once the new top was on the craft, you could see small little white light-bulb looking type fixtures around the trim of the disk. The bulbs appear to be revolving or e-volving around the craft slowly like maybe 2 to 3 miles an hour.
I continue to film this object every morning if skies are clear. I have tried desperately to get help from various individuals from media members to my friend who is a priest. I have cordially invited several individuals to join me as I film but have not been succesful.
I don't know whether they believe I am crazy or if they are having a hard time manipulating all the detail seen on the video? Either way, I appear to be the only one to this point to be enjoying an extra-ordinary show the rest of the world will miss unless they ! finally take a chance and come outside to look.

Two large, unblinking, silent, extremely bright objects travel in tandem, then disappear over Chaco Canyon. My friend and I were camping in Chaco Canyon, NM in the park campground, which is nestled against a rock mesa. It was about 8:30pm and we were sitting around our campfire when I noticed two extremely bright lights coming over the mesa above us; I believe they were headed in a SW direction.
The night was clear, moon and stars were visible. The two lights were extremely large, very white, not blinking, twice as big as any large planet I've ever seen, and obviously following each other -- they maintained their distance from each other and traveled the same course. We were struck first by the size and brightness, but then by the fact that there was no sound --- we waited for any jet/commercial airline sounds to catch up to the visual, but it never came [several commercial airlines had crossed the skies earlier].
After a couple of minutes the first one started dimming, then completely disappeared. The second light did the same a few seconds later. There were no clouds in the sky, and all stars around these lights were visible the entire time.
((NUFORC Note: The ISS passed over New Mexico at 19:31-19:35 hrs. on this date, to the north of Albuquerque. However, it was coursing to the east, not to the southwest, and the "Atlantis" Space Shuttle had not yet undocked from the ISS.

75&Mag= The undocking occurred a day or two later, prior to the Shuttle's return on Friday, October 18. We wonder if the time, date, and direction(s) provided by the witnesses are correct. If they are, they did not witness an overflight of the ISS.

Greenish and Orange fireball that lasted about 3 to 5 seconds and then exploded making a ring of fire. Three of us had gone to Sky City on the Acoma Indian Reservation to fly our Powered Paragliders. The cloud system to the Southwest was dark and this was a strong indication of dangerous gusty conditions for flying PPG's.
Our friend, decided to launch despite to weather conditions. He was sitting in the seat of his PPG and I was standing on the pilot's left. My other friend was standing on the pilot's right.
As I was checking the pilot's riser connections I noticed a bright green light illuminating the clouds to the Norhtwest of where I was standing. I shouted, "Look at that.look at that.
look at that!" My friend who was helping the pilot as well turned and first saw the fireball as it was passing through the second, but much smaller cloud system. I saw the green and orange fireball come out of the main cloud system from the Northwest as it travelled eastward and entered the second smaller cloud system and then the fireball exited the second cloud system. It was at this moment that the pilot turned and looked over his left shoulder as he sat in the PPG and saw the last moments of the fireball as it discintergrated with a final burst which created an orange and greenish ring.
The fireball was falling at angle of approximately 5 degrees. The object covered an arch of about 45 degrees from the first moment I saw the fireball to the last moment before it exploded. The object was not moving as fast as the typical meteor, because I had time to say look at that three times and then a moment to watch the last stages of its destruction.

About 3:30 p.m. in Taos, New Mexico, my mother called me into the living room to look through the window.
There was a Bright "star". Then we saw it slowly but surely moving to the north. It was in the east.
We looked through binoculars and saw red, green, white, yellow and blue lights. it was an oblong or disk shape. It was moving pretty fast.
We tried to take pictures. My camera made some weird sounds and shut down after 4 shots. My mother, me, and my stepfather observed it for mare than an hour.
We found it was too late and went to bed. But right before we left, we saw it bouncing around through the binoculars. I also thought i saw something bright shoot from the "ufo.
" There was a slight haze around the object and it left a tiny trail. At time the object owuld also change light colors. We also saw an airplane race toward it.
But then the airplane shifted lower, below the object.

Disk shaped object and other less distinct object was photographed over Las Cruces, NM. 10-05-02 @4:49 pm. I took 4 pictures of the mountains to the west of Las Cruces, NM.
The camera was a Canon G2 digital. The last shot taken at 4:49 pm was enlarged after downloading to a computer. Only then were the images of 2 objects noticed in the sky.
One in the upper left was disk-shaped and appeared metallic in luster. A second object, below and to the right of the first, was apparently much smaller and/or further away. A previous shot taken 2 minutes earlier showed no objects.

More than one saw the object over Las Cruces I am submitting this in reference to a sighting that is posted on your main page, the object that was photographed over Las Cruces NM. Only one difference, me and my co-worker saw it at aprox. 0745 in the morning.
We were located on NMSU property at Milton Hall. It was alot closer to us. My God if I only had a camera, we were so close.
It would have been the perfect shot. I would have to say that it was about 1 and 1/2 miles away. That may seem kind of far but it was a hell of alot closer than the picture you have posted.
What is so ironic is that I work at a TV station. I will be kicking myself ((deleted)) for along time on this one. I should of had a camera! ((NUFORC Note: Witness does not say what it was he witnessed.

Oct, 2002 , 8:30 AM, Santa Fe, NM, caught while photographing Santa Fe RR train station, duration unknown I didn't witness this object directly, I was photographing and discovered object only after I downloaded digital photo. I am an artist and usually watch the sky but missed this! I have also had several other "sightings" in the past with another person (my brother). I'll share these at another time, they were quite dramatic and I'll have to make drawings.

Humming, oscillating sounds outside of Roswell, NM While camping at Bottomless Lakes State Park outside of Roswell, NM, my girlfriend and I heard a strange, high-pitched, oscillating sound coming from the west. We heard the sound for about 30 seconds and got up from our campsite (out from under some trees) to investigate. The sound was making area coyotes/dogs howl like crazy.
The object had a red light on one side and a green light on the other, and white lights on the front and back. The red and green lights were about a third of the way between the white lights-- if you connected the lights, it would look like a kite. So basically, not terribly unlike a plane, but a different shape.
However it did not sound like any plane we'd ever heard. It was traveling relatively slow and low and went directly over us. As it did, due to the Doppler effect, the sound became lower and the oscillations slower.
We followed it until it disappeared into the horizon. We suspected it might be a B-2, but saw one the flying the next day outside of Alamogordo and it did not sound the same at all. Based on subsequent Internet research, we're pretty sure it wasn't one.
Actually, as an aside, it sort of sounded like the opening music on the MUFON website (www.mufon.com).

High velocity redish-orange light makes 90 degree turn without deceleration. It was a redish-orange light very high up heading south. The objects velocity appeared to be faster than that of of fighter jet and slower than a meteor.
Without slowing down, the object made a 90 degree right turn and disappeared into a haze of clouds. ((NUFORC Note: Witness remains totally anonymous. PD)).

Triangular shaped objects with lights the same shape with red and gold coloring as well as the trail behind it. We saw at least 50 light in the sky behind a blinking object. It was not a usual air craft.
It was red and gold and it menuevered very fast and shone as bright as a light bulb. They were all lined up right after the other. They were forming an unknown shape.
They were at least 10sec. apart. It was triagular shaped and also had lights on the bottom ,they were also shaped triangularly ((NUFORC Note: We spoke with the witnesses to this event, and they sounded to be credible.
However, we had a difficult time understanding, with any degree of precision, what the object they were watching looked like. They emphasized that it was distinct, and bizarre, in appearance, and it apparently "maneuvered very fast," but it was visible for some 90 minutes. We find it difficult to imagine an object, or cluster of objects, that satisfy all those criteria.

very able to make out shape and colors. The sighting took place at around 8:00pm on August 13,2002. My boyfriend and I where on the way to my house and saw a giant object which at first seemed to be a plan.
As it got closer we reliezed it was to big to be a plan. It was like a matallic silver and sort of a triangular shape mixed with the shape of a dimond. At the piont of the dimond part where two giant red lights, on top a white one, on the back where two giant whinte ones.
It was around for about five minutes andd while observing it, it disappered into thin air then would reappear in the same spot. Then it seemed to follow us and just dissaperd. The sky was clear that night.
With our windows rolled down we assumed we would be able to hear a noise. It had to be about 100 feet in the air and not a singal sound was herd. There was only one.
It also apperaed to have the three windows which would take turns flashing in a sequence.
