The craft was quiet and swift. The visible lights were of a triangular configuration. At each point was an orange-ish point of light.
In the center was pink light, larger than the three other lights. There were no flashing strobes or other lights which might give the craft away as a terrestrial aircraft. The date I provided is *very* approximate.
I was much younger when I saw it. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. We believe the witness implies New Mexico, not Arizona.
We have amended the state above. PD)).

A colorful object was hovering over the Petroglyphs, which backed up to my back yard, and it had no sound. It was late in the evening when I called my girlfriend in California. I looked out my window to the backyard and saw this, I guess cigar shaped object hovering over the Petroglyphs.
I went out the door to get a better look. My first thought that it was a blimp, due to the fact that I was from Los Angeles and they were seen many times in the skies there. The object had colorful lights, which was not in step with the airplanes or helicopter lights.
The object was just hovering, and then it struck me, THERE WAS NO SOUND COMING FROM THIS OBJECT. I was still on the phone with my friend and was telling her all about what I was seeing. I started getting concerned and moved back into my home as I have two small boys.
I continued to watch this object and when it started to finally move, it moved very slowly and then it went away in a flash. I called the police and asked them if Kirtland AFB was testing some prototype and they said they had no knowledge. Meanwhile, my friend was still on the phone.
I am an Executive Secretary by trade and the next day at work I told some of my co-workers, and they all laughed. But I know what I saw. I will report another incident that occured during the last major meteor shower last year.

Early morning around 0100; I couldn’t sleep and was looking out the window and noticed 4 blinking red lights, above the horizon, that were in a vertical row. Since we had just moved into this house, I wasn’t familiar with the neighborhood vista yet, and thought it was a radio tower of some kind, that’s how still they were. Then, all of a sudden, the two middle lights moved horizontally to make a diamond formation; this pattern was held for a few seconds and then the bottom light moved up between the two horizontal lights, forming a chevron, then in a split second they moved higher into the sky and were gone into the darkness of the night.
From the time I noticed the lights, until they were gone, less than a minute had elapsed. ((NUFORC Note: Source of report indicates that the date of the event is approximate. PD)).

strange, amber lights unlike conventional airplane lights I was standing on my balcony watching the night sky. At approximately 1930 hours 8-10 amber lights appeared in a random, but close-knit order. The lights stayed on for about 5-10 seconds and then went out.
About one minute later, the lights appeared again in a similar manner. This happened repeatedly in one minute increments. There was no sound associated with the lights.
After a few minutes I called my 14 year old daughter to the balcony to observe the lights with me. She observed the lights for approximately five minutes. When the lights made their final appearance, they were completely aligned, as opposed to the random order of the previous sightings.
((NUFORC NOTE: Witness indicates that date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

Three very large disks seemed to land in a hole in the ground and could be seen from 15-20 miles away. On the afternoon of March 19, 1993, fourteen of my co-workers and I suddenly were stopped in our tracks when we saw (from a high plateau on the Los Alamos, New Mexico hill viewing to wards Pojoaque, New Mexico) three extremely large disks (at lease 1/2 mile in diameter) emerge from nowhere and enter into a very wide opening in the ground. We were at lease fifteen miles (as the crow flies) from the landing site.
When each one of the disks entered the opening , one after the other, then the earth closed. I was the only one who remembered the sighting, as the others only noticed that a few minutes had elapsed. I pass through Pojoaque daily and I have tried to find the exact landing site, but it is on a Native American (Indian) reservation land.
A particular section of the reservation that non-Indians are not allowed to visit or enter.
