Florida UFO Sightings in 1993

I saw a ufo flap Dec. of 1993 In the latter part of 1993 I had a concern in Ft.Lauderdale that required me to drive alot on Interstate I-95.

As I was headed home going north on 95 between 1:30 and 2:00 am I saw "something" that was traveling at an extremly fast clip leaving a florecent green trail in the shape of a triangle and there was this orangish white light object traveling in a tight corkscrew path through the bottom middle of the triangle making a lazy "J" that was the color of a modern day streetlamp. Each side of the triangle was, at best guess, 15 to 20 miles long, and it had to have been 25 to 50 miles away from where I was. About 3 days later I was traveling down the same hwy at about the same time in the same direction when I saw what looked like a propeller from a helecopter(again florecent green)whizzing by me on my right(West)side with two more orange-white sentinals on either side of the "propeller".

And about five days after that, I was getting out of my car in my apartment driveway when I saw a single orange-white sentinal light make another lazy "J" into the nightsky and disappear.

I never reported this, but since I found this website, thought I would in case anyone else may have reported something around the same time in Florida. I was out doing my daily walk in the evening on Halloween night in my neighborhood. I was almost home and finished with my walk when I happened to look up and suddenly saw a triangle shaped object with 3 lights on the bottom (in each corner)- absolutely no sound.

I just stood there not believing what I was seeing. I had noticed some kids out trick or treating earlier and I quickly looked around to see if anyone was out but there was nobody at that time. I looked back up and I thought it had gone behind a cloud (I think the only one in the sky because it was a clear evening), but it was gone.

I ran to the house to tell my husband and some friends and we went outside to look but never saw anything else.

I was walking around the deck on second floor and was astonished to see a flying disk, silver/gray color, and oscillating yellow lights on edges of saucer. It was positioned about 3 feet from 2 year old son's and 18 year daughter's room window which they were playing together inside at the time. I froze and just watched it for several minutes trying to decide what to do.

Then all of a sudden it pulled away from the deck and dodged the trees and flew off quicker than anything I've ever seen. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

I saw a spaceship take off from slow speed to around the speed of light in second from only 30 feet away. This is a report of an earlier sighting the exact date I am unsure of due to the tramatic effect it had.I was presently working as a security guard at a condominium on St.

Augustine Beach Florida.It was an eerie night and I was standing in the parking lot beginning to get bored so my mind started to wander. I was looking out through space because the night was crystal clear even though there was a lot of heat lightning over the sea.

I was listening to my car radio and lying on the hood of my car when I noticed one of the stars ( I was attempting a trial of astral projection)had suddenly left its place in the sky and moved to another location.This upset me a little because I am inteligent and believe that it is perfectly possible for something to travel through space to another planet.So I left my post for a little while and drove a couple of blocks to an all night convenient store for a pack of cigarettes.

I was much calmer at this point and was beginning to forget the whole thing when I noticed a sensation of being completely alone as I was driving back to the parking lot.It seemed like I could here the crickets humming from miles away and the sound of my own heartbeat was clearly audible.I parked the car got out and started my patrol around the condo.

I was just starting to round the corner when I notised a little fog was visible and I could see the parking lot lights.Suddenly I noticed from my left someting approching at a very slow speed through the light fog.I remember thinking I hope this is a flock of pelicans but unfortunately it was not.

I saw a ship at an altitude of about 20 ' traveling less than 30 mph moving across the parking lot.I noticed the design had to be alien because of its overall shape being unlike anything of the earth my experience coming from being in the army and my father who worked for Grumman corp.The cockpit was like anondized metal black and opaque like some kind of energy absorbing substance.

I believe the color of the ship was subdued green. The wings were delta shaped and! bent do wnword away from the fuselage.It was almost past when I noticed engines and ports situated in back and tucked under the wings.

Just the a tremendouse muffled blast came out of the engines and I could follow its tightly twisted vapor trail till the object was completely out of site way way out into space in about 10 seconds.THere is much more too be told about ie. its physical effects on myself but I have run out of time for now.

The translucent blue round sphere moved from horizon to horizon in 1 to 2 seconds with NO sound! First of all, I've been a police officer here in Jacksonville, Fl. for 33 yrs. and am NOT a "nut".

I was working an off-duty job with another officer (((name deleted)), now retired) at a Putt Putt mini-golf and games business, ((address deleted)) Blvd. in Jacksonville. The business hired off-duty officers for security and our job was mainly to keep people from "hanging out" in the parking lot.

I am not sure of the date, nor the time but, as he and I were standing outside in the lighted parking lot, we BOTH saw a translucent blue, round sphere streak across the sky from the southwest to the northeast and just below cloud level. The clouds were not rain clouds or storm clouds but, we did have a low ceiling. There was absolutely NO sound emitted from this object and from horizon to horizon only took it 1 to 2 seconds to travel.

When it went over us, the already lighted parking lot lit up "blue" from the blueish color of it. As for size, I can only say it wasn't a small "orb" you sometimes talk about. However, it was moving so fast, I really couldn't tell how big it was other than to say it was large enough to cast a blue hue over everything below it and it was large enough to see clearly.

I looked at my partner and asked if he saw what I saw and he said "Yes, but I'm not saying a thing.they'll think we're both nuts". I'm telling you, this had to be something not from this world! ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

I observed a green orb gliding north to south about a hundred feet high. I was at work as a security guard, driving a patrol car through a residential complex at 4:36 a.m.

with my flashing yellow lights on, when something caused me to look out my left window. I looked up and saw a small green orb slowly gliding silently towards the south [I was also driving south]. It was about 1 hundred feet up, and almost overhead.

Right after I observed it, it sped up, as if it knew I noticed it. I jumped out of the car, never taking my eyes off of it, and watched it speed off due south, maintaining the same altitude, and traveling in a straight line, until it faded into the distance. It never made the slightest sound, and it glowed a "traffic light" green color.

spherical egg shaped bright green-stationary then lightning fast.twice! My sighting coincides with entry for 8-12-93,ft.lauderdale, sighting.

I too witnessed the same,I just didnt know where to report this until now! I had a witness at the time of the sighting, and it was august of 93 just a few miles S. of Ft.Laud.

It was spherical-egg shaped, bright green, and hovered a few hundred feet directly above us and remained stationary for 2 min. During the 2 min.we moved our heads from side to side to be sure our eyes werent playing tricks on us,and it seemed to move in an opposite direction each time I leaned forward or back .

Then, after our utter disbelief about what we were seeing, it shot out lightning fast to the west horizon, then hovered there for another 2 min. Then it did a zig zag left and right, and then shot back directly over us again! I started to cry and had chills on the back of my neck with my hands covering my mouth in total shock. It hovered stationary again in the exact spot it was before,then shot out again to the west horizon,moved up then down this time, then disappeared.

500 ft off the sawgrass 150 yards from the road not moveing very bright i didnot stop when i got 10 miles i looked back the sky looked like a sunset i couldnot hear sound it was a big ball of light amber color i was about 150 yards from it big brite amber ball very brite very low 150 yads from me not moveing i was driveing a tractor trialer i did not here sound it was about 500 feet up size maybe 50 to 75 yards wide and high maybe more the ball was all lit up.

Light on horizon zipping around, over several nights, then approached house last night For 3 nights, around 12-2 a.m., while lying in bed facing my eastern 2nd-story wall of picture windows, I observed a light on the horizon - over the trees - seemingly out over the ocean (30+ miles away), staying stationary but would appear to bounce.

My room was on corner of house with my north and east walls being wraparound picture windows. I thought it was a star and my eyes must be playing tricks on me, maybe a reflection off the ocean. On 4th night, it was much closer and lower, with binoculars it resembled a rotating disc with dim blinking lights, not very big.

I could not determine distance. This repeated the 5th night. The 6th night, approximately 2:30 a.

m., while looking at it with binoculars in wonder, it was instantly right outside my windows, bright brilliant white light like I have never seen before or since lit up my entire bedroom from eastern direction, then from both north and east windows. The light was blinding, so much I could see nothing but brilliant light when i tried to look at the windows.

I was 21 years old and still living with my parents. I screamed for my mom, and I ran partly into hallway as she came running into my room. She witnessed it, intense bright brilliant light filling my entire room from the north and east picture windows.

I then heard what sounded like a freight train, but it may have been my auditory senses correlating with the absolute intensity of what my visual senses were experiencing. Interestingly, my mom heard the freight train noise too, we were terrified, it felt as though a tornado was about to hit hard. It was then instantly just gone like it was never even there.

I expected the entire neighborhood to be outside, after the deafening freight train/tornado noise. No one was outside or mentioned it the next day. My dad was in Portland, Oregon for business unfortunately.

My mom was distraught - not about what we just saw and heard, but that we would be ridiculed and shunned, and made me swear to not tell anyone. I understood why, and didnt want to be labeled a crackpot either. We lived in an affluent neighborhood, my dad was an aerospace metallurgical engineer.

A neighbor woman who was an orthopedic doctor had a similar experience a decade prior (driving a car down the long dark isolated road through woods to our neighborhood, and said something in the air that was rotating and emitting light descended over her car and the car went completely dead as it was being operated at 40-45 mph) and was so ridiculed and belittled by the neighbors and then our entire small town, she moved two years later. By the time she left, there were false malicious rumors of her being a drug-addled alcoholic quack. It was devastating for this upstanding, professional woman.

I have experienced nothing similar since, despite living in much more isolated and rural locations for the last three decades.

A bright orange ball of light hovering approximately 500 feet above the tree line with no sound coming from it. I saw this bright orange ball of light hovering about 500 feet above the treeline 3 times during a two week period in the month of January 1993. The first time I saw it I was driving home from work aroung 6:30 pm EST.

It had been dark for half an hour. I was traveling north on 441 about 7 miles north of Gainesville on my way home. I then noticed this orange ball of light hovering above the treeline.

It just sat there. It glowed but didn't move. At first I thought maybe it was a heicopter searching for something, but the more I looked at it I realized it couldn't be a helicopter because the light wasn't a searchlight.

It didn't reflect a beam of light: it just glowed. It couldn't have been a plane or helicopter because there were no other lights on it and no strobes. There are some towers in this area but it wasn't them because I could see them off in the distance and besides they having flashing red lights on them.

I didn't stop to watch further because I had to get home. It was still in the same place as I watched from my rear view mirror until I was too far away from it to see it anymore. The second time I saw it was about a week later with my wife in the car as well.

It was in almost the same spot that I saw it in the last time, but I think it was further north along the road. She didn't want me to stop and look at it so we continued on home. I saw it again about a week after that.

So this time I stopped my car on the edge of the road to check it out. Unfortunately because of the height of the trees next to the road, it blocked my view of the orange ball of light. There was no sound from that spot in the sky.

I thought surely I would hear an engine of some kind, but I didn't. When I got backl on the road I could still see it above the trees until I was too far away to see it anymore. I never reported this to anyone because of the skepticism most authorities have towards this type of siuation.

I have driven this stretch of everyday for the last 7 years and I have seen nothing like that before or since.

First, please accept my apologies for not remembering the exact date/year of this event, nor do I remember the exact beach we were walking down as we walked so many. My boyfriend and I were walking down a beach along the shoreline,(I want to say it was Pompano Beach) during the night when we both noticed a red "Light" begin emerging from under the water about the size of an SUV. As it seemingly began to approach the top of the ocean the "Light" became brighter yet smaller in diameter as if the "Light" was transforming into a red "Laser Beam Light".

It appeared to have breached the water waves but we never saw anything actually appear from the ocean. We never even heard the "Splash" of whatever it was come out of the water. But WE KNEW SOMETHING came out of the ocean.

My boyfriend and I simply looked at each other as if we knew NOT to speak of that and we literally NEVER did! We just continued with our walk and did not speak a word about it until years later. I found him back when "MySpace" was popular and we were messaging back and forth. I actually brought up that evening with him and he said he had never talked about it until that moment we started discussing via messaging and he confirmed everything I had remembered from that evening.
