Two young boys , approx 14 years of age. One (myself) and a neighbor laying on a picnic table, just staring at the stars directly adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico noticed a, what appeared to be another larger star, far out towards the horizon, started zig zagging through the star constellations, until it stopped directly above us, held that spot for a moment, then abruptly went off the side of the night sky at a 45 degree angle in less than 1 second!!! The whole event was no longer than 6-8 seconds!! I KNOW THEY ARE OUT THERE !!!.

OCTOBER 1969 UFO SIGHTING BY ENTIRE FAMILY ON OCTOBER OF 1969, I WAS 9 YEARS OLD. THE OLDEST OF 5 SIBLINGS. I;M ONLY TELLING THIS NOW AT 52 YEARS OF AGE BECAUSE MY FATHER DID NOT ALLOW US TO TELL OF THIS EVENT.

HE HAS SINCE PASSED AWAY AND IT'S TIME I TELL SOMEONE. MY FAMILY AND I WERE TAKING A WALK TO A NEAR BY PARK. THE SUN HAD BEGUN TO SET.

AS WE ARE WALKING I LOOKED UP INTO THE EVENING SKY AND SAW A VERY LARGE BRIGHT STAR. IT SEEMED TO BE GROWING LARGER AND LARGER BY THE MINUTE. I KEPT TUGGING AT MY FATHER'S PANT LEG FOR HIM TO LOOK UP.

WHEN HE FINALLY DID.THE STAR WAS HOVERING SILENTLY ABOVE US. IT HAD CHANGED SHAPE.

IT WAS NOW A DISK, BUT A SOLID COLOR.IT WAS AS IF YOU WERE LOOKING INTO A LIQUID MIRROR. SHADES OF SILVER, LIGHT BLUE, AND PURPLES.

IT REMAINED THERE FOR A FEW MOMENTS AS WE HUDDLED TOGETHER IN FEAR.BUT MY FATHER KEPT REASSURING US THAT IT WAS OK. THE OBJECT DISAPEARED INSTANTLY AND LEFT A GREY CIRCULAR OR SPIRAL SHAPE IN THE SKY.

1969 summer Ft. Lauderdale spiraling pinpoint of white light, spirals across the night sky with neon green cloud alongside. I was 15 and living with my married sister (26) while she was pregnant in a residential area of Fort Lauderdale, FL near the inter-coastal waterway.

We went into her backyard, behind the pool to steal lemons off of her neighbor's lemon tree. It was dark and a clear night. My sister exclaimed & grabbed my arm & pointed up towards the sky.

STRAIGHT UP was the brightest white light I'd ever seen (brighter than a Klieg light), a pinpoint of white light that spiraled out in lines that were so even they could have been made with a 'compass'. the pinpoint of light continued to shine as the spiraling lines filled the entire upper horizon. but what was odd is that we could see through the widening white, spiraling lines.

we could see the starry sky through the widening white lines. Next to the pinpoint of white light was a neon green cloud. A cloud, like a white cloud you'd seen on a blue-sky day, except this cloud was green and it glowed like a green neon sign.

We both stood there with our mouths agape and watched this entire phenomenon for about 2 minutes. the white, transparent, WIDE spiral lines filled the entire upper horizon and then the white pinpoint just stopped emanating light and the green cloud took a few more minutes to fade away. Apparently, thousands of people in Ft.

Lauderdale saw this and called into police. NASA claimed the next day that it was a 'reflection off of a rocket that was shot over the ocean. as the sun was going down.

' The only problem is, it was DARK, it was 8:30 PM and the sun sets on the Gulf/west side of Florida. We were on the east side of Florida, quite close to the Atlantic ocean (perhaps 1 mile). There was no way this was a reflection off a rocket as it was STRAIGHT UP and the pinpoint of light was emanating from above the earth (from space) and it shown down to the atmosphere where it spread out across the entire upper sky.

In my opinion, some superior visitors were taking a very large 'photo' of the area. The green cloud was translucent. The white spiral lines were transparent.

check your home movies of apollo 11 filming apollo 11 launch from the beach at garfield st,as with other launches.with hand held 8mm camera w/o telephoto lens.filmed till lv was out or sight,centering on the apollo craft.

when film was developed it clearly reveals an object coming out or the ne and approaching apollo 11,hovering for a look,and then speeding away at aspeed which makes apollo 11 appear to be stationary.i was unable to get any info,other than some who wanted me to give up custody of the film.i was employed at nasa hq bldgas an in-house contractor at the time and knew that all their filming is with telephoto at longer range.

iwas filming skyward approx 15 miles away.this object appears in the same frames as a known object at aknown height and speed .others filming in that vicinity should have recorded the same object,but i didnt know it was there until the film was developed.

multi-colored swirling illuminating lights (looked like a tornado in the sky) The incident that happened to me was in 1969, Dade county Florida. I was four years old. I don’t know why I remember this but I do.

It was at night and my family and I was doing what families do watch television. Suddenly, the lights went out and I guess there was a noise or something outside because we all headed out of the house. There was something in the sky swirling around with illuminated lights which were multi-colored lights.

It (the object) had no form. After looking at it for, what I can’t remember, a while the air around me felt thick, as if I were under water because I felt like I was moving in slow motion. I also remember my uncle standing in front of me but not moving or speaking.

It seemed as though he was frozen in time; I kept pulling at his shirt trying to get his attention but he didn’t move. The next thing I remember is touching some kind of machine with lights all around it and it was very cold. From what I can gather now thinking back it seemed to me to be a probe of some kind.

Now, the funny thing about this whole thing is I thought that I was dreaming, except for this one thing, I wasn’t. I say that because years later when speaking to a few of my family members we all had the same experience. They remembered exactly what I did and perhaps a little more.

Very odd Flying-V object flew directly over me. This is the second report I have submitted to your site. My first report is dated 10/24/73.

But I had seen something a few years before that. This sighting occured on July 4th, but I am not completely sure of the year. I was around 15 years old, which would have been 1969.

At that time I lived in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. which is located on the Atlantic Ocean. Every year on the 4th of July my town would have a spectacular fireworks display, better than many large cities.

They would shoot the fireworks out over the ocean. Huge crowds would gather every year, sometimes as many as 100,000 people. It was near dark and I went out in my driveway to look at the sky.

If it was dark enough, I was going to walk down to the beach to see the display. The sun had either gone down or was behind the distant treeline, but it was still fairly light. As I was looking up I saw a very strange Flying-V object.

It had 4 or 5 bright red flares on each side connected by what appeared to be narrow black tubes. It was flying the way you would expect a V shaped object would, with the point going first. The flares looked like the red flares you often see on the 4th of July that glow brightly and float down slowly.

The little tubes were narrow and very black. It reminded me of Tinker-Toys when you connect those round wood shapes with the longer rods they provide you. This object was very low in the sky.

I would estimate it was only 100 feet high at most. It flew directly over my head, heading due North. This object did not look large at all.

I would estimate its wingspan at maybe 8-10 feet. Somehow it reminded me of a box-kite. It also made a "sizzling" sound, sort of like when you fry bacon.

Also, faint wisps of black smoke were floating off the flares. I would estimate this object was traveling at 15-20 miles per hour. I could see it plain as day.

At first I thought it was some sort of new firework that I had never seen before. But it was strange. I could not figure out what was making it move through the sky.

It was not shooting fire out the back or anything like that. And the faint smoke coming from it was not shooting backward like a form of propulsion, but just floating away from the red flare balls. I continued to watch this object, expecting it to eventually descend.

But it did not. It maintained a steady altitude and speed. That was what really got to me.

It just kept on going. I knew no firework could do that. I continued to watch this object until it sailed out of sight to the north.

I watched it for at least 2-3 minutes and it never did come down. Finally it grew so small and disappeared from my view. This object did not scare me like other objects I would see years later.

It did not appear to be a craft that could be manned. It was just these balls and rods. It had no body to it at all.

But it was under some type of control.

Two stars moving upward and "becoming" united as one. Years ago shortly after moving to Ft. Lauderdale from Miami, I saw what appeared to be two stars in the4 distant sky above the trees.

(About 9:30 p.m.) I watched as they moved upwards gtom their position and met, becoming one star.

Later I wrote Isaac Asimov of this and he replied that "Stars are too far away to show motion I do not know what you saw, but it wasm't atsrs. Then I wrote David O. Woodbury, author of "The Glass Giant of Palomar" (Dodd, Mead), 1963), and he replied, saying that I saw Venus.

He said thsat this planet has strange appearances, looking differant at differant times through the atmosphere, aAND SOMETIMES APPEARS TO BE TWO PLANETS and in strange colors. (Asimov had said in a followup that "Sun, atmosphere and dust are all necessary in earth conditions.) Morris K.

essup has written that there is a "neutraL ZONE" somewhere between the sun and earth, and hen it is feasible that space people ot objects could utilize this neutral gravitational/magnetic field (or plane) for such materialization. This agrees with Ruth Montgomery's gides who maintain that space people come from all over the universe invisibly taking no time to do so (by thought travel), and then they materialise within our atmosphere. Timothy Good in his book, "Above Top Secret" quoted a scientist who studied under Einstein, saying that nations and governments have no weapon against the paranormal, and thus must keep this UFO information secret (evidently so people will not think we earthlings are under the control of Extra- terrestrials.

However several former military men anonymously have written that our government ,ade a secret agreement with ETs receiving scientific information and knowledge in exchange for abductees for their "study", however it was found that they are abducting more than agreed upon. 3 gold balls gather, split to 5 and disappear! Sarasota, Florida summer 1968 or 69 Beautiful day, some clouds, I'm standing waist deep out in the gulf, looking back towards shore. There are other people, trees, houses ect on the shoreline. Over the tops of the trees, I see a glowing gold orb, ball shaped, but no way to tell the size, not very big from my vantage point, but very bright.

It sort of darted around some, and then 2 more glowing gold balls showed up. They all went together in one spot, 2 of them went to the 3rd one, but it didnt get bigger. But when they were all in one spot, after less than a few seconds, all of the sudden, 5 split off in different directions up and away, very fast, and were gone.

Whole thing took less than 10 seconds. I can still see the relative scene, but I never could decide how big they were, or how far away. It seems I was rather far out in the water, that area is very flat and you can go 100 yds or more out in the gulf and not be in very deep.

The shoreline was very far away as I recall, at least 100 yards. NO one else seemed to have noticed, and I dont remember anything after that. Sure do remember it tho! They really glowed, and were very golden colored.

didnt pulse. Darted around like a hummingbird does, zip zip, back and forth, up and down, nothing we have can do that even now really. It was totally cool and I wish I could see more stuff like that.

The ufo used simulated police lights to pull me over and then just sat there apparently observing me. I will never forget the winter of 1969. That's when I saw my first ufo or rather I should say it saw me and I'd like to add that I'm not prone to hallucinations nor strong drink.

I think my sighting is very unique in that I was pulled over by a ufo. Let me elaborate. I left my house to go to my dads one evening about dark.

I didn't have far to go as he only lived about 5 miles from me. As I was about halfway there, I saw revolving blue lights in my rearview mirrow. As I was in the city limits of town, I thought naturally that it was the local police pulling me over for a traffic violation, so I pulled over and stopped.

I looked rearward and was shocked to find no one there. No police car, nothing. I then looked to my immediate right and saw an immense object just sitting there over a citrus grove.

I had the distinct impression that it was observing me and I felt like they wanted me to see it. To say that I was apprehensive is a bit of an understatment. Yet, I was fascinated.

It was an absolutely beautiful craft. It was huge. (I estimated it to about 50 to 75 yards in diameter.

) It was well enveloped in light which didn't seem to radiate outward much if at all. It appeared to be made of a metal similiar to aluminum.(bright and shiny) There was absolutely no sound whatever.

Having read of numerous abductions as I've always had an interest in the ufo enigma, I felt that my best recourse would be to leave. (I was scared stiff) After I left, I looked back and it was gone. I don't know why, but for a long time after that, I couldn't seem to tell anyone about it.

Like it wasn't important or something. I didn't have any missing time so I'm quite sure that I wasn't abducted. Another strange thing about this is that the ufo or whatever it was didn't arrive and leave in the conventional matter.

It just appeared and then dissapeared. Poof, gone. It was the most vivid scene I've ever saw.

I shall never forget it and sometimes I wish I could see it again.

Sphere's appear in the room within touching distance and stay for a considerable amount of time. [Very Close Encounter of 1968] This is an account of a very close encounter that took place in the winter of 1968 in Miami, Florida. It was a few weeks after Christmas (1968).

I and my future wife (name deleted) were staying with friends for a few days. Around 10 or 11 PM we both laid down to sleep for the night. Let me describe the house a bit this well mean something later.

Our friends had put us up on their living room floor with the usual blanket and pillows. The living room was adorned with a large fireplace (no fire, just for decoration I guess) which was at our head and our feet were placed at the opposite end, which to the right was the front door and to the left an open hallway to the kitchen. There was a dim light left on in the kitchen and the living room was dark except for the faint light from the kitchen.

The front door was made of solid wood and had a couple of small windows in the very top, there was also a glass screen type door on the outside with glass top and bottom, both doors were locked for the night. The rest of the room contained the usual items, carpeted floors, coffee and end tables, chairs, lamps, cabinet type stereo etc. The outside of the house was adorned with large trees (maple I believe but not sure of this) and were much taller than the house and shaded it very well.

And now on with the story: We hadn't lain down to long I guess and then it came! Right through the front door to the right of our feet. A ball of light about the size of a soccer ball or a 10-inch paper plate passed right through the glass door and through the wooden door. It immediately went to the ceiling over our heads paused then broke into 5 equal size pieces, danced back and forth and mixed them selves as they danced and hovered over our heads.

Never getting close, as they stayed tight against the ceiling. I remember saying to ((name deleted)), "What is that?" and here reply, "I don't know." After a few seconds or minutes later one of the shapes broke from the others and started along the ceiling towards our feet and then started down the wall like it was searching for something back and forth, up and down.

Let me describe the shape because this is the very interesting part. Like I said it was about 10 inches in diameter and glowed with a bright white light. There was no definite shape to the object other than the approximate size and it was circular.

There was no body to the object and yet you could not see through it. All 5 of the objects were equal the best I could tell and were of the same light intensity. The strange part as the object entered the room and broke into 5 there was no light emitting from them (the room stayed dimly lit from the light in the kitchen) yet they were bright white and emitted no light.

As the one object broke from the group and was on its search (or whatever it was doing) it cast no shadow on anything or lit anything brighter than itself. The light was so bright from the object that you could not see its true shape other than it was circular and spherical. Being 18, full of vinegar and not really thinking about what I was doing.

I got up from where we were laying and started toward the light that was dancing on the wall. ((female's name deleted)) stayed were she was for the time being and watched. I followed the light and was within about 2 ft of it at all times and tried to visually see what it was by stretching my head within touching distance (maybe as close as 1ft.

). I peered into it and was straining my eyes to see if I could tell what it was then it started down the wall and was going to go behind the stereo. My first thought was that it was going after the electrical outlet.

That's when I got brave and reached out to touch it before it was gone. As soon as got with a few inches of the object it shot with amazing speed upward to the ceiling (I jumped back out of reaction) and watched it shoot through the front door the other 4 followed one by one as if in a procession line. ((femeale's name deleted)) popped up and we both went to the front door to see where they were going.

I twisted the knob the door was lock with a dead bolt. I fumbled around and got the door open and then found the glass screen door lock also. Soon we were outside and seen the lights dancing above the roof of the house (approx.

14 foot off the ground) among an opening in the trees. They soon grouped together as one again and shot straight up, zigzagged a bit and left at an amazing speed. I remember saying something to ((female's name deleted)) like I have no idea what it was and her reply, "me neither.

" We went back inside and secured the house and lay back down. For the next 2 hours or so we heard a jet circle the area. You could here it coming closer and listen to it as it faded off in the distance and then hear it reappeared from another location.

It was definitely circling the area for some reason. I figured radar must have picked up the objects we had seen or something perhaps larger where they had went. Perhaps the plane was just a coincidence and not related at all, this part doesn't really matter.

It was just an observance the same night and we fell asleep listening to it fade away and return. The next morning when we woke, ((name deleted)) didn't mention anything about the night before and I got to thinking it could have been a dream and would keep it to myself till she spoke first. I anxiously got the morning paper hoping there would be something in the news about the aircraft that was circling the area or a clue to what had happened the night before.

Nothing in there but the usual garbage, so I dismissed the whole thing as a dream since ((name deleted)) did not mention anything about it for the next few days. Well life went on and ((name deleted)) and I were married and eventually moved to Hanover Indiana. Several years later we were on our way home late one evening (after dark about 9pm or so) with the two girls.

And we all saw a shooting star (meteorite) as it streaked across the sky. The first words out of ((name deleted)) mouth was, "Remember that time down in Florida we saw the lights in the house?" I almost run off the road! My God it wasn't a dream after all! It really did happen! After we got home and got the kids to bed I pumped ((name deleted)) to see what all she remembered and it was exactly as I did right down to the finest detail. It is really strange that we did not discuss this encounter till 8 years later and it took a meteorite streaking across the sky to open her up.

I ask her why see never talked about it before and she said she really didn't know. ((name deleted)) and I were divorced a few months later. I saw her about a year ago and it was brought up in our chatting about our past encounter.

She told me she felt it happened for a purpose and really didn't understand what or why it happened but it defiantly did happen. I have been in search from time to time since to find someone with a similar experience and have posted articles on several UFO message areas and was once the MUFO (Organization for Mutual UFO's) Fidonet coordinator for Indiana, KY and Ohio. I have yet to find anything really close to this encounter other than Foo lights and there's not to much talk about them anywhere and really just barely related.

I have no idea what it was but it seemed peaceful, seemed to mean us no harm, did not want touched for some reason and was able to pass through solid objects (wooden door and glass). From this day in 1968 and to the present day I 2000 do believe in UFO's and close encounters and contest that all the is written here is pure fact and not fiction in anyway. It's really hard to discount something you see with your own eye close-up and have a witness to back it up.

1 and 2 and 3 cloud type objects immediately appear off to the left of the highway right ahead of us (about 3 telephone poles away )as we were driving north of Naples, Florida The event, though old now, still is clear in my mind as if it just happened. My friend and I were driving north on Sunday night. I was the passenger and dozed off for the duration of a Sinatra song from an radio station in Miami, when I opened my eyes and saw appearing off to left of the road, up ahead if us, cloud-like material, as if being poured into a round pan, like a making a pancake, then a second right behind it, and then a third, at which time I asked my frined what the__is that? Although we were told not to stop anywhere in the Everglades, unless absolute;y necessary, I said "pull over! Let's go take a look! We got out of the car.

and I cannot remember walking forward, but when we got up ahead of the car about 20 yards, the objects were NOT in front to the left of us, but up higher and absolutely due West! They were 3 round clouds stationary, and I remember when I looked directly at them, they exploded like a flashbulb into 3 orangish-red ovals and started to move. No sound, no trail. I can still see myself looking up at the bottoms of the objects, and then, at the fastest (warp?) speed I've ever seen shot straight up.
