SUMMARY: We saw a comet like shape heading west to east very fast, Suddenly the comet tail dissapeared, than ignited twice then disapeared. On tuesday Dec 17 at 9:00pm my friend and I were on our way home from the sawgrass mills mall. In Sunrise Fl.

The highway that we were on runs north and south.To the west is all Everglades, to the east is Sunrise, Up in the sky way way west we saw a comet shaped object moving west to east in an arc shaped motion.It looked like a blueish sphere with a reddish comet-like tail.

It was way too high to see any real detail. The object was moving at an incredable rate of speed. Suddenly the comet tail went out and all you could see was the blue orb.

When the UFO was over the road (still way to high to see detail) the tail"fired" twice, like some kind ofafte rburners.And was rocketed out of sight to the east ina matter of seconds, way faster than anything either of us had ever seen. My friend and I know alot about airplanes and this fits no description we could make.

Planes appear to be moving slowly from afar, not this thing.We have absoultly no explanation for this.It !must have traveled 50 or 60 miles in the extent of 60 to 90 seconds.

Three male adults were driving south on Highway 98, which crosses "3 Mile Bridge." To the east of them, they saw a bright yellow light, that appeared to expand outward, like a "runway light, or a tracer (round)." Then, they saw something be shot out of the first object, and this process continued until a number of other items had been ejected from the first object.

These secondary objects would disappear, then reappear, as the first object slowly was moving away from the observers' location. It moved farther out to sea, such that it was about 10 degrees above the horizon. At this point, the primary object appeared to the observers to release one object, which moved to the left, and another object, which appeared to move to the right.

Shortly thereafter, all three object appeared to be expelling lights, "or something." The observers stopped their car to watch the process as it continued.

Three super bright craft emitting triangular light array. I was driving with two friends across Bob Sikes (3-Mile) bridge going South from Pensacola to Gulf Breeze. Halfway across, at the crest of the bridge, we were startled to notice an immensely bright light approximately 200 yards away from us at roughly eye level (about 100 ft.

off the water). It was disc shaped and was emitting pulses of light, much like tracer fire, in a triangular array of about 30 degrees, and only traveling perhaps 4 diameters out away from the craft before the pulses stopped. The effect was visually as if a dotted triangle was temporarily attached to a brightly glowing sphere.

This emission would go on for 10-15 seconds at a time, after which, it would stop and then recur anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes later. I stopped immediately upon exiting the bridge and went to the edge of the bay to be able to watch with as little light pollution as possible. When the lights were not emitting from the craft, it would fade to a dull, almost black, shade of red.

As it traveled East away from us, it would become difficutlt to track it visually while it was not in its' bright phase. When it was approximately 5 miles from us, we noticed another craft, also pulsing identical light emissions, approaching the first from about 45 degrees to the the North. The two never got closer than a couple of miles from each other.

Approximately 10 minutes had gone by at this time. Immediately after noticing the second craft, we noticed a third approaching the first from about about 30 degrees from the South. At this point, the emissions were coming less frequently, and we could only be sure of the exact location of all three craft when they would emit, which they did not do in unison.

When they reached roughly the current location of the Garcon Point bridge (approximately 10 miles from our vantage point, they all three dissapeared at the same time. I am a college graduate, do not drink or use drugs, and am an avid fisherman in the area, so I am very confidnent of my distance estimates. The caller was standing outside, waiting for the space shuttle to arrive. Suddenly, he notices two white lights flying very fast, which were positioned beside one another. The sky was very clear, and the stars were very prominent in the sky when he saw the two objects.

They were neither a missile, nor an aircraft, the observer emphasized. They were traveling too fast for that (?), he averred, and they were very high, he thought. He called the local sheriff's office, where he was given the Center's telephone number.

The caller mentioned that he was college educated, and that he had never seen anything like this in his life.

SUMMARY: miles to the east we saw 5 discs in a semi arc. they were the size of a dinner plate. color that of a lighter flame, yellow.

the clouds parted and a large grey black object appeared. they all just disapearred. shuttle launching mission.

Summary : A light the size of an average star was spotted traveling at grater spped than commmercial aircraft at a high altitude. I was standing outside waiting for guests and lookin at the sky. It was a cool night and the stars were visible in larger numbers.

I noticed a light go at a pretty fast speed accross the night sky. It moved much faster then a commercial aircraft and seemed to be at a high altitude. It could not have been a military jet because they do not fly with lights on.

it was one light colored white with a small tint of yellow. It raced accross the sky and fle away into an invisible distance. It flew straight from North to South.

A man was outside his home for a last smoke and to walk his dog, before going to bed. He looked at the night sky to the southwest, because that is the direction where there is no treeline, and he suddenly noticed a light, which at first he thought might be a star, although it appeared to him to be rather large to be a star. When he looked back at a a couple of minutes later, it was now larger than a full moon! Also, it appeared to be getting closer to him, and was lower to the horizon, he thought.

Then he realized that it had become two distinct lights, both bright white. At this point, he summoned his wife, who also saw the object as it passed directly overhead. they both agreed it was less that 500 feet above them.

It was not a helicopter, and it was too slow for an aircraft. The two lights were on the bottom, and they were glowing. They could see an outline of the object as it passed overhead, and it appeared to be "pie-shaped.

" They both heard a really low hum as the object passed overhead very slowly. The object suddenly disappeared approximately 2 seconds after it had passed overhead. The caller added that he and his wife have three cats, one of which is an "outside" cat, and two that are "indoor" cats.

After the incident, all of the them were gone, and they did not return until approximately one week later. Their dog, which normally is very eager to go outside, would not go outside for several days without coaxing from his owner. The dog, a pit bull (?) was apparently very upset for several days afterward.

At 2315 hrs. that night, after the sighting, the dog started barking and snapping at the front door, and he would not go through that door for 4-5 days.

I out of my front door to let the dog out. I remember I stared at this bright star that was pulsating. Then I had a feeling that I was not alone.

I turned around to go back inside, and I noticed a black triangle hovering over the tree line beside my house. It was very hard to see because it blended well with night sky. I walk out of the front door of my house to let the dog outside.

I was staring at this star that seemed to pulsate. Then I had a feeling of not being alone. I turned to walk back inside my house when I noticed a Black triangle hovering over the tree line right beside my house.

I watched it almost feeling like I couldnt move. It then began to move across the sky. It was very low maybe 200 Ft in the air.

It had no lights and made absolutly no sound. It also moved very slow. I was thinking I have to get my wife out here to see this, but I couldn't move.

I could only watch it moving across the sky. It blended very well with the night sky, and I don't think anyone would notice it if they weren't looking up. It turned around a giant tree and then was gone.

I then ran inside my house to get my wife and when we returned outside it was still gone. I stayed awake all that night, very scared.

My sister and I both had a dream that a ufo was coming to Gainesville. They showed us around the ship,and the greys told us that they were coming. In our dream the outside was round with blue and gold lights.

The inside had gold lights, and we both remember seeing two examination tables on our right side. The next morning which was a Monday the 14, A lady had called into a radio station that we were listening to which was 98.5 KTK fm, and she said that there was a ufo spotted in Gainesville, Florida.

She said the ship had blue and gold lights on the outside of the ship. It was the same one that we dreamed about.

ONE NIGHT DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER OF 1996 I HAD A DREAM THAT I WAS TAKING ABROAD A UFO AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WERE COMING TO GANIESVILLE FLORIDA. THE INSIDE OF THE SHIP WAS ROUND, GOLD LIGHTS, AND TWO MEDICAL BEDS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF ME.

THE OUTSIDE OF THE SHIP WAS ROUND AND BLACK WIHT GOLD AND BLUE LIGHTS. THEN ANOTHER DAY CAME AND ((deleted)) HAD THE SAME DREAM. THEN MONDAY THE 13 OF OCTOBER CAME AND WE WERE LISTSENING TO 98.

5 KTK.F.M THAT MORNING AND A LADY HAD CALLED IN SAYING THAT THERE WAS UFO SPOTTED IN GAINESVILLE.

bright round light flew over our car two times on the night listed above a friend and my self were driving home from visiting a friend.we were on a highway near the everglades.i was the passenger.

the time was aprx 1;00am.we were just drivivg with the radio on {not loud},when i saw a bright white light off in the distance east of us.at first i thought it was aplane or helicopter.

the object past over our car maybe 1000 ft over us,moving from east to west.it was round not very big but big enough.this was no plane.

it made no noise and no other lights except for a brillant white light surronding it,it was definatley a round shape.it came by slow then real fast all of a sudden,like faster than any aircraft could.again there was no noise.

i turned to my friend and ask him if he saw that?he said he saw nothing.aprx 10 seconds later it went over us again from south to north.this time we both saw it.

the object was again slow,then sped up really fastand changed direction to straight up ,like nothing i have ever seen still glowing vert bright.i asked my friend if he saw it that time and he said yes what the hell was that? niether one of knew what it was but we agreed it was not an airplane nothing could have moved that fast and change direction like this thing did.still no sound was ever heard from it.

Egg Shaped UFO seen from air plane over Florida I was coming home from my summer vaction in Florida and looking out the plane window at around 3pm when I saw this red egg looking object. It was making odd and fast moves around the plane. It must have been over 3 miles or so away.

I tryed to tell others to look out and no one wanted to. I watched it make maunevers that no plane could do. After 9 minutes or so of looking for it I got my camra and just as i was about to take a shot of it, it shot into the air and I never saw it again.

White, triangular object (shaped like a long, narrow paper airplane) observed moving silently in broad daylight. This sighting took place so long ago that I’m not sure of the exact date. However, it was the summer (approximately July or August) of 1995 or 1996 and took place in Crestview, Florida.

I was in the backyard with my grandson when I looked up and saw an object in the sky. It was solid white (at least I don’t remember any markings or lights) and triangular in shape. It was long and narrow, looking about the shape of the long paper airplanes we made as kids.

It was moving very slowly and completely silently. I watched for a moment and then looked down to tell my grandson to look up. When we both looked up, the object was gone.

It was broad daylight and the sky was completely clear with no clouds into which it could have disappeared. I could not have taken my eyes off of it for more than a few seconds. It would have had to move at a tremendous speed to disappear in that time.

I’ll never forgive myself for looking away and not seeing how it left. A few minutes later a small aircraft flew over at approximately the same height as the object (maybe a bit lower), and I could clearly hear the airplane engines. The object had made no sound at all.

I haven’t mentioned this incident to anyone but my family, and my grandson was much too young to remember it. I was afraid to be labeled a kook because of the many “sightings” that have been reported in Gulf Breeze, Florida, over the years. Gulf Breeze is only about 20 miles from Crestview as the crow flies.

I haven’t read or seen any accounts of objects that were shaped exactly like the one I saw. If you have had reports of anything like it, I would greatly appreciate your letting me know. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the event is approximate.

Blue Angles interupted by UFO/F-16 Crashes in area same Day Listeing to Peter on Jeff Rense, made me remember this sighting. To quickly summerize myself, at the time I was in college and was in the Marines. In the Marines my duties included calling Close Air Support and artillery as a "spotter".

I have since been able to identify US and NATO aircraft by sight and sometimes sound. I can also identify some "Eastern Block" aircraft. (we had flash cards of aircraft in silloette).

During the annual Blue Angels Show at Pensacola Beach, I wittnessed a Chrome Sphere hovering over the Santa Rosa Sound, (the body of water the separates Gulf breeze from Pensacola Beach). At the time I was working at the beach as a lifeguard so I had seen the Blue Angels show all week as they practiced. On the final show, (a Saturday), the sky was clear and the beach was crowded.

I had "Dune Duty", which meant that I was to stand on a tall sand dune next to our "shack" in case I had to administer first aid to someone. Now, I'm faceing south, as is the airshow guests as the Blue Angels are flying over the Gulf of Mexico at Pensacola Beach. So keep in mind that people are not generally going to be looking behind them to Santa Rosa Sound to the North.

Seeing the Angels all week made me notice that they were "off a bit' this day. Their Friday show was much cleaner than today. The Diamond formation looked sloppy and other details were picked up by me and the other guards.

In the middle of the show the Angels anouncer stated that the show would be delayed because someone was in their airspace. I followed one of the jets with my eye as it broke from the diamond and he went out over "the sound". I was now faceing North.

Then I saw a glint and it was a chrome sphere hovering over "the sound." The F-18 closed on it and came right at the sphere, in a blur the Sphere was gone. It seemed to "disapear", but I saw a blur above where it was and think that it must of climbed rapidly in the direction of the blur.

Later that day on the evening news, a F-16 was reported to have crashed in a neighborhood in Pensacola. That Neighborhood where the crash occured is close to Escambia Bay. The only thing that separates Escambia Bay from Santa Rosa Sound, is a thin Penensula known as Gulf Breeze.

I remember thinking that the F-16 crash, the UFO and the stoppage of the Blue Angels Show, were connected. (an airshow stoppage which I've never seen growing up in Pensacola and having seen the Angels several times). As far as I know I am the only witness.

This sighting had the potential for 1000s of witnesses. But I have never heard anyone with a story like this. I may have been the only wittness.

I don't have the exact date correct. But I know it was the Blue Angels show at pensacola beach in 1996. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

We will attempt to confirm the date, which should not be too difficult, given that the date of Blue Angel performances is published. Also, the date of the F-16 crash should be easy to establish from newspaper records. If anyone can help with the exact date, we would be grateful.

Experience with bright hovering ligt,, loss of time and changes in spacial perception in Florida The night of the fourth of July, 1996, I was in high school on summer vacation, in bed ready to go to sleep. My room, located at the rear of our house had a single window, set in an alcove approximately 2.5-3 feet deep with overhanding eaves.

Outside the window there was a large elephant ear plant, which obscured 50-60% of the total window area. Outside the window there was a large river birch 15-15 feet from the house with a leaf canopy that was about 12 feet wide and blocked the entirety of the nigh sky from view. It was at 1:00am on that night I was in bed when I heard and felt a low electrical vibration, I sat up and turned towards the window and lareg display clock which clearly read the time.

The vibration became a hum and I experienced physical paralysis and a visual and physical change in the dimensions of the room. The room itself appeared to expand and constrict as if it were becoming fluid. It was at this point a bright light appeared in the upper left hand corner of the window, despite the foliage outside and window blinds, the light pierced the darkness of the roomit stayed for a moment and then in less than a second filled the entire window with a bright white light.

The room was lit brighter than day with the blinding light. During this time the hum stopped and there was a total lack of sound. I was incapable of movement.

The light stayed in the window for up to 10 seconds and then pulled back and shot away in the same angle at which it had approached. At this point the room returned to its normal state, the normal sounds of the house (air conductor, pets etc.) returned and I was capable of moving again.

It was at this point I realized I had also been holding my breath for the duration of the event. I looked again at the digital clock and observed the time was 1:30 and that 30 minutes at passed in what was less than a one minute event. It was the first time I experienced such an event, however I was not afraid after and from conversations wit family members I found that I was not the first to have such an experience.

I had many acquaintances pass this off as fireworks as it was July 4th, but that is unlikely as fireworks of any great size are banned in Florida for private use, and the foliage outside my window blocked all light from entering, not to mention that no fireworks behave in such a manner and are not silent. The next morning I found fingerpring like marks on my legs and arms.
