Three lighted objects flying in formation. I was sitting in the hot tub around 11:00 at night with my boyfriend in the resort that my grandparent's live in a little south of Orlando, Fl. I was looking up into the sky when I noticed a very small circular speck up above the clouds.

It seemed to be above the path of normal airplane traffic. It emitted a bright white light, different from a star though. there were maybe two or three of them.

They seemed to be moving in logical order and much quicker than the clouds below and the stars. one would move away from the other two then they would move away also then they would all reconvene in the same location. When I say the same location I mean that the exact same spot that they left from.

this continued for around 15-30 minutes. When we got on the golf cart to go home we were able to amintain visual contact with them until they faded from our sight. they were very small shaped circles almost more like little dots than spheres.

three pinpoint dots very high in the sky above Coconut Grove in Miami, FL On Sunday, December 29th at about 1:45pm, while awaiting the beginning of the annual King Mango Strut Parade on Main Avenue in Miami's Coconut Grove, with about 10,000 other paradewatchers, I looked up thru a tree and saw 3 individual lights or reflections very high up in the sky directly above me. At first I noticed one white dot in the sky, and assumed it was just a lost balloon. However the object did not visibly move for a few minutes.

When I looked again, about 3-5 minutes later, I noticed that two other objects of the same size were moving north towards the first one, which had moved slightly south from its original position. The three objets continued towards each other, and within 3-5 minutes eventully formed a triangle, still almost directly above me. Twice during this episode I asked my friend to look at the objects.

He did see them the first time, but because of the branches in the tree, could not see them the second time. About 2 or 3 minutes later (the parade was distracting me!) when I looked up again, the three objects had straight-lined themselves, facing in a southwesterly direction, but still moving in a southerly direction, but the movement was almost imperceptable. I could only track the change using a couple of branches for positioning.

A couple of minutes later, I could no longer find any of the objects. During this time, thre were no clouds visible in the sky. I did see a couple of aircraft, including a 727 and an ATR pass overhead, which helped somewhat to better estimate that these objects were extremely high in the sky.

Their size from where I stood was not much more than pinpoints. I have to say that I do not follow these sightings, and don't fully believe in little green men. NO, I am not a Raelian! I do not know who to contact to find out what it was I saw.

Could they have been Predator drones practicing maneouvers? I believe they were much too high for small weather balloons, given that I could see them. The aircraft I saw, flew almost directly underneath the objects.

aircraft flying in the vicinity only My husband and I noticed this object a few nights before my husband and I filmed it on 12-23-02. The first time we filmed it we caught a "fireball" flash across and out of sight in front of the UFO. It has come around the same time every night for about 10 days now(around 2030) I recorded it again on 12-26-02 and have very good footage than the first time.

the night was clear, no clouds and you can see the object changing colors. I am very interested in knowing what this object is and getting it analyzed. I served 5 years in the USAF and have good credibility.

Bright fireball travelling S - N leaving a trail While on neighborhood security patrol we saw a very bright fireball travelling from south to north. It was a very clear night with a full moon. The fireball was leaving a trail.

It caught our attention as soon as it passed directly overhead and was still very bright when we lost sight of it due to trees. It looked similar to other Earth-grazer meteors I have seen, but lasted longer. It was most likely a meteor, but I felt that it was worth reporting.

I'm sure that many people driving on I-75 must have seen it. ((FOLLOW-UP COMMUNICATION)) Hi Peter, If you want to update the report, my wife and I were talking about the object and think it may have lasted as long as 7 - 8 sec before losing sight of it. I'm not a pilot at this time, but still hope to get licensed at some point.

My boyfriend and I were sitting up late last night and I looked over to the left of me and notice a really weird object( which I thought was a tower for a second). We watched this object move from left to right and it looked like it was gliding not flying. We both first thought that it was a helicopter or something but then it statrted to move away and come back in a motion that we knew it wasnt a regular air craft.

My boyfriend is skeptic about it. He is assuring himself that it was a really bright star and he clouds were making the object to appear to move. I watched the object for 3 hours and finally as the daylight came this object slowly went away.

I watched it move farther and farther with a small trail of light behind it. As daylight came I made him look over in the same spot and see that it was not a tower and that there is no way possible fot it to have been a really bright star like he wants to make himself believe. I know what I saw!.

It started as a circle and changed colors, almost as if it were spining. Sometimes beams of light would shoot out of the bottom. It started out as a circle then every once and a while, it split in two and a beam of light came out of the bottom.

Since it was really late we didnt watch it for that long but it moved in odd ways. Sometimes it would zigzag, and every time it stopped it seemed like it was spinning because it was changing colors.

A brigh orange-yellow flare-like light traveled across the sky towards the south, breaking into two still-flaming pieces before disappe We had essentially a 360-degree view of the night sky. In about the middle of the sky east-to-west (maybe a little closer to west) and also about in the middle of the sky north-to-south (maybe a little to the south), a fireball appeared moving in a southern direction, traveling about 1/4 to 1/3 of the sky, and breaking into two pieces just before it disappeared from sight. It was like no "shooting star" I have seen before because of the brightness, duration, and also the length of its path - it was more like a steady orange-yellow light that made me think of either a flare or of space-shuttle launches I have seen at night.

The fact that it broke into two pieces which were still both glowing the orange-yellow was like no other shooting star I have ever seen. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain anonymous. PD)).

Small fireball like object hovering over a water treatment plant I North Miami, FL In the back of FIU campus in North Miami Beach lays a water treatment center, above that center some students and I saw a fireball like object rotating then sped out and disappeared. It looks like the aurora when it disappeared but of course in Florida we don’t have an aurora. We also notice after the object disappeared it left this very cold smelly fume like air with fainted colors as if you would to throw a little bit of water on some gasoline.

The distance between where we were standing to the object was about 2 blocks away. The object was about 2000 feet up "I think" it was pretty high though an we where able to get enoughe detail to say it's not a Helicopter or some student’s science project.

Flashing red light in sky I was outside looking at the stars when My friend and I saw a flashing red light. It was moving fast to the left and right and then it went strait up in the air and turned right and kept going and went strait this had to be a long distance even for a plane but yet the light did this path in 2 minutes.

Pulsating Diamond Shaped object ejects two orbs of light towards the ground. Driving South Bound on Dale Mabry Highway at 5:30 in the morning on my commute, I observed a diamond shaped object that seemd to have a distinct prismatic structure with pointed ends and was brightly illuminated. The structural detail, is what made it stand out from the garden variety landing lights of jets approaching the airport.

If I recall,Tampas'airport does not begin flight operations until 6 or 6:30, realizing this, I realized I'm looking at something unusual. The object was the size quarter dollar held at arms length. I had ample opportunity to observe details as I was frequently stopping at intersections with my window rolled down staring at it (with my jaw hanging down).

Object appeared to be about 5-7 miles to the left of my vehicle which would place it in a location to my east, between US Highway 41 and the campus of the University of South Florida. It seemed to be slowly drifting lateral to me. If it was as far east as Interstate 75, and the size it was to my naked eye,then this thing would have been really huge.

If i had to estimate altitude, it appeared to be about 400-500 feet, but this is only a best guess. Object remained stationary, perhaps slowly drifting at times, and the intensity of its illumination changed every few seconds, i.e.

, dimmed and increased, in almost a blinking pattern. 2 (two) smaller orange-yellow orbs of light were ejected from the side of diamond shaped object and disappeared in a rapide downward motion. There may be possibility that this was a commerical blimp that may have been used in a recent Tampa Bay Buccaneers Football Game this month, but after it ejected the orbs of light, I quickly discounted that notion.

I even considered a shuttle launch from Cape Canaveral, but I've observed many shuttle launches at night from our Gulf coast location and there was an absence of a large smoke plume illuminated by the engine nozzles and any distinct arc of movement. My partner and I were working late one evening and arrived at our house at 3:00 am. Every night we put out cat food for the wildlife that live behind our house. As we were standing outside smoking a cigarette and waiting for the raccoons to come out, my partner mentioned how nice and clear the sky was.

She told me to look at a particular star that was much bigger and brighter than the others. As we both looked at this star, we noticed that it was glowing. I had never seen a star glow like this.

all of a sudden this star turns a red color and then a greenish color and then back to a white glow. We start trying to figure out whether this may be a weather balloon or some kind of plane but it's not moving. As we are talking we see much much higher up.

another star doing the same. Automatically we assume this may be some kind of satelite giving off signals.which is really interesting to us, being that we had just moved from a big city and have never seen anything like this.

We kept our eyes on this communication for about 5 minutes.all of a sudden this star starts to move from left to right. I think for a moment that it can be our eyes playing tricks on us.

and I quickly position my self under a tree. I know for sure that this star was moving because I have a tree branch to help me figure that out. The object or star is moving while the tree branch is still.

The bigger and closest star quickly dissapears and then reappears.I tell my partner not to move that I'm going in to get a camera because what we were watching didn't seem normal. I come out and take at least a dozen pictures on a digital camera.

We were out a total of 35 minutes watching this. Watching these 2 stars communicating, moving etc.I don't know what it is we were watching.

but the reason why I am posting this experience is because there are 2 things that don't make sense. #1 the objects/stars disappeared a minute from each other. #2 The camera only picked up the stars (although very blurry) surrounding the one cha! nging colors, but not the one that was changing colors.

Large egg shaped object motionless in sky I was driving down the 43rd street extension to go food shopping when I saw a very large,dark, egg shaped (eliptical) object with a shiny spot on each side (lights?). It was not moving at all, not high like an airplane, not a helicopter, not microwave dish. I was trying to make sense of it because it didn't move.

After 30-40 seconds, I rounded a curve with trees which blocked my view and when I passed the curve the object was gone- no where to be seen. This frightened me very much and I called 911 to see if anyone else had seen this. I gave my name and cell phone number.

About 45 minutes later my two children started yelling that there was a rainbow. I looked out the car window and to the left of the sun (quite a way) there was a light shining in the sky with a vertical rainbow in front of it. I don't know if this had anything to do with the other object I saw.

Sighting in Tallahassee My son and I got stuck in a median while traveling through Tallahassee. I was bored so I was stargazing and noticed a star and it looked strange along the bottom. It was pretty far away but the light it was giving off looked like a beard along the bottom.

I asked my son to look at the star and tell me what he saw and he said, "It's moving". I thought he was just playing or seeing things but when I took a closer look, it was in fact moving. It would go rapidly to the left, then the right, and sometimes up and down.

Then it started fluttering in small circles like a butterfly. I said to my son, who was amazed at what he was seeing, I wonder if this is the only one. As I started focusing on what looked like stars, I noticed that they were moving too.

I counted more than 20 of them all around. The closest ones were in the eastern sky and they would get really close and bright and then pull back and fade away and disappear completely, only to reappear a few seconds later. Some gentleman stopped to try and help us and I asked them if they saw the light moving and they did, but I don't know who they were.

I snapped a picture of it with my camera. It had black and white film and I'm not sure how it turned out. When I develop the film, I will mail it in if it turns out.

Flashing light fast speeds disappears i was looking into the sky when me and my friend saw a bright red light traveling really fast back and forth. we followed it for about 2 minutes and it traveled strait up for a long distance turned and went back in another direction this same thing happened another time but the light disappeared.

Crome object seen on Siesta Key Beach, FL and Pic. As my girlfriend and i were walking on the beach of Siesta Key, my girlfriend said what is that so i looked and saw a staionary crome oval shape object and blew it off as nothing when she said thats a UFO, i looked closer and it was not moving one way or the other so i said oh it's probably a reflection of a plane or something, we looked away for one or two seconds and looked back and it was gone, now there wasnt a cloud in the sky so i was looking all around for the object but never saw it again until i looked at the pictures i had took of the sunset after that. I have a interesting picture i would like someone to look at, thank you.

While taking the morning break at work, someone expresed concern about a bright star sitting motionless in the blue sky, there were 5 of us wondering about such a curiosity, a star at daylight, in my case not new to me since I've seen Venus at daytime, It was about 09:30 am when I saw it, one of the guys claimed keeping an eye on it for already 10 minutes, it was sitting at a 50 - 60 degrees west of us and some very high cirrus clouds seemed above it since it was extremely bright and we decided that it was in the atmosphere, after about 20 minutes it started moving to the east, stopping every minute with some jerking play, on and off to the left and right then continuing just to do it again and again ( the last time it stoped was at a 90 degree angle right right above us then turned northeast disapearing over a cloud not to appear again. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. Given that the witnesses observed the object for an estimated 35 minutes, it almost certainly could not have been an aircraft.

It may have been a high-altitude helium balloon at very high altitude, although they generally are not seen to move in the manner the witness describes. One of two different sighting reports from same witness. PD)).

Moving starlike objects My background first: I am a 20 year AF vet., pilot and aircraft owner 67 years of age. I have never seen a UFO although I have been looking for one for a long time.

Early this morning from about 0520 to 0610 I was out in an open field watching the Leonid meteor showers. At approximately 0545 I noticed a bright, very high object traveling across the sky. I was standing at the edge of a treeline to my back, which blocked my view from the SSE to the NNW.

When I noticed the first object it appeared in the sky about 75 to 80 degrees above the horizon, the moon would have been about 30 degrees to my right. It traveled in a straight line across the sky. Since the sun was about to come up I could see the arc of light that the sun made in the eastern sky.

The arc extended from the ENE to ESE. The first object traveled across the sky ENE. I first took it to be a satellite but I have seen satellites before and this one seemed to travel faster than the ones I have seen before.

As it reached the upper edge of the arc the sun made it disappeared from view. About 5 minutes later another bright object appeared in the same area of the sky and traveled in the same direction, same speed and the same altitude as the first. It disappeared from my view in the same area of the sky, which would have been about 40 degrees above the eastern horizon.

I think the thickness of the atmosphere caused it to be hidden to my view. All this time I was seeing the meteors as they entered the atmosphere and burned up. The third object appeared in about the same area as the first two about 5 minutes later but traveled more in an easterly direction.

I know there is a lot of space junk in orbit so I can’t discount that. But I don’t think that many satellites would have traveled across the sky that close together in time. It took the objects about 20 seconds to travel the distance that I was able to observe them.

There were other aircraft in the sky at the same time but they were airliners and much, much lower in altitude. Do satellites orbit ! in this direction and do they orbit in these numbers and this close in time? The objects were definitely not meteors or aircraft. ((NUFORC Note: We suspect that the witness may have been observing satellites, which were being illuminated by the rising Sun in the east.

However, please see other reports for this date, which seem equally serious-minded, and which apparently do not describe orbitting satellites. PD)).

Sighting of seven flying star looking objects during Leonid Metor Shower My daughter and I had gotten up to watch and file the metor shower this morning for her sicence project we were facing North East of the Sarasota-Bradenton International airport in Sarasota Florida--which we live about 1 mile north of the airport. In the process of watching the sky my daughter thought she saw a star move across the sky. She asked me to look and to my surprise I also saw what appeared to be a star moving across the sky.

It was not a shooting star because it did not seem to be falling but moving in a horizontal direction over the sky. As we were watching this happen we saw another object, that also looked like a star moving towards the first object. We continued watching and proceeded to notice several of these star looking objects moving all around.

They appeared to stay in pairs except for one that stayed seperate from the others. As we watched them move we saw them come to abrupt stops in mid-flight and seem to be suspended in air. They would make right angle turns and also appeared to be doing 360 circles within there air space.

They were not spinning in one spot but literally doing a full circle in the area and would go from that motion into either a 90 degree turn or shoot straight across the sky. They almost appeared to be "dancing" across the sky but always within what seemed to be their "area of space" and in pairs except for the lone "star." It was simply amazing.

My daughter and I woke my husband up and he too came out and saw the phenomena. My husband was in the Marines for several years and I know that there is nothing yet that can make such amazing movements and seem to suspend in air after a immediate stop in mid-movement. These object did not fly down or come even remotely close for us to see them as anything more than waht appeared as "stars" that moved.

My family has never in our life seen anything that we would even say has come close to a UFO so we are not used to this, admittedly we were a little "freaked" out yet completely amazaed and unafriad. I have always beleived that it is very arrogant to have the frame of mind that in all the vast spanse of space the earth is the only place where life of any form can be found so I do think that what I saw is for real and not something from this planet. I just feel priviliged that I now have a personal experience with this type of phenomena.

I can only hope that we were able to catch it on video--I am only worried that they were so far up in the atmosphere that it will not show up. I will be checking tonight when I get home from work. ((NUFORC Note: Please see other reports for this date.
