morphing spheres in a chem trail. At about 1300 today, was a heaver chem trail day. I was outside, camcorder in hand filming the formentioned.
After 5 minutes of taping I saw what I thought was a passenger jet, flying thru a chem trail. I rolled tape on it,for about 30 sec.It first looked like the sun reflecting off the wings of a jet.
When I reviewed what I taped,I was astonded to see 4 or 5 rotating spheres traveling in a straight line withen the chem trail.

teardrop/pear, black/blue, wings(?), 25Ft (rough), headed west, five min. before left. There was a starnge shape, like a pear/teardrop, and it was black, maybe blue.
Seemed to have a wing thingie. It was roughly 25 feet long, but I couldn't tell really well because it was so dark. It went west after I attempted to observe more closely.

Triangular shaped object floating above Rt. 3 was seen and followed for serveral minutes. While on our way to workout my brother and I noticed a strange grouping of lights in the sky floating above Rt.
3. The lights slowly began to move. We decided to follow the lights.
As the craft passed in front of the clouds it was breifly backlight revealing a triangular shape with red and green lights at different points on the craft. The object then disappeared over the treeline and we decided to go workout. A half hour later while coming back down Rt.
3 on the West lane we noticed the craft still in the air above us only now coming our direction. We began to follow it until we lost sight of it for good. Several days later on Christmas day my other brother and I we outside talking at around 9:00 pm when I noticed the same craft in the sky near our house.
He tried to dismiss it as a helicopter but it was making no sound. I then began to drive down the road and lost site of the craft. About 15 minutes down the road the craft appeared on the opposite side of the sky now with several other lights around it.
I lost sight of it shortly after that.

Silver boomerang like objects moving in a vortex like dog fight and one would break in a straight line and the rest would catch up. High Altitude circular maneuvering, then one would move rapidly in a straight line and wait for the others to catch up and move around each other like in a dogfight then on would rapidly move in a straight line and wait for the others etc. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate.

Black teardrop ship over western part of centreville area One black teardrop-shaped ship approximately 20 feet in length. The nose finished in a slightly dulled point. Backswept wing-like extensions were fixed from the middle of the ship to a foot or so behind.
It seemed to shimmer as it moved, exceedingly hard for the eye to follow. Unarmed, silent, no lights, no aircraft nearby (strangely enough), left no trail, no magnetic effects. However, the ship did leave a very slight mental signature almost like a ringing in the ears or a tone just below human hearing.
It stayed for two minutes, then left in a rush. As it picked up speed the shimmering stopped(or perhaps intensified?). Either way, it disappeared.

3 orange crafts land? From East to West: I was looking toward the belt of Orion when I noticed 2 large orange lights south of the belt, as I watched these another orange light appeared. All the crafts moved very slow to the west. This lasted about 10 min.
They slowly moved behind the mountains, as they came near to the mountain top they grew much larger in size. I then saw a bright flash of white light-something like heat lightning in the summer. My guess from the angle from that I was is that a landing took place on the old strip mine that is at the mountain top.
I will make a trip to the site tom. Also NO sound was made.

Bright Pale Blue Flash - No Sound - Street Lights Went Out We were driving west on Keene Mill Road, approaching the intersection with Greeley Boulevard in Springfield, VA. At about 8:12 PM EST there was a bright pale blue flash which lit up the sky and area we were driving in. Everything lit up, so we could not tell which direction (if any) the light came from.
It "seemed" to be either from above or that we were "within" the flash. The street lights all went out, but power to homes remained on. There was no sound.
The sky was clear, slight winds (maybe 5 mph) and the temperature was around 32 degrees F. We continued driving towards home and when we got to another area of street lights, they were also out, but beginning to come back on. This area was one mile southwest of the point where we saw the flash.
((NUFORC Note: We wonder whether the event might have been caused by the explosion of one of the local transformers. We have received several such reports. PD)).

Silent Red V/Chevron of 6-7 lights over Norfolk, VA during Leonids. i was up watching the leonid meteor shower. a neighbor was out as well.
while looking up, i saw a V shaped series of red lights, numbering around 6 or 7. it traveled southeast, and made no sound. the size of it is difficult to approximate, as i couldn't really tell how high it was.
but i remember that there was no sound, and that i thought it was an airplane at first. it was moving across the sky fast enough to make me think that it was a low-flying aircraft, but the fact that there was no sound struck me as odd. as i realized that it wasn't a plane, i pointed it out to my neighbor, who saw the same thing.
at one point in the middle of the observation, it appeared as if the lights _moved_. i mean the points that made up the V seemed to move to the center, then back to the original V formation. i'm not sure if they actually did move, but the pattern of lights seemed to change.
this occurred over the span of a second or two-- very quickly. after pointing the V out to my neighbor, i continued to watch it, was distracted by a particularly nice series of meteors, then returned to look for it at which point it was gone.

Triangular Aircraft Flyby On November 19, 2002 at appromatly 4:30 am est. a coworker and myself stepped outside of our workplace to observe the Leonoids, As we were looking skyward we observed a triangular aircraft traveling in a north to south direction for a period of about 10 seconds. I estimate the craft to be 150 to 100 feet in length, traveling at a speed of 300 to 400 mph at an altitude of 1500 to 2000 feet, and emitted no sound.
There were circular, dimly lit, pink-orange lights on each corner of the object. No other light was being emitted from the craft. The object was solid and cast a definitive triangular shape against the night sky, blocking out stars as it passed by.
The object appeared to be matte-black in color and had no distinguishable detail other than some contrasting color that was situated in the center of its triangular shape. I will be sending a computer graphic that I made that represents what I saw.

Dome shaped object at great distance over mountains near national park in mid-day, clear sky. On Saturday morning November 9th I took my family to the reservoir at Sugar Hollow near White Hall, Virginia just outside of Shenandoah National Park (park was due west of our position). Our position was approximately 78 degrees 44' longitude, 38 degrees 07' latitude.
I was using a digital camera to take photos of the kids and scenery and did not notice any object in sky while on site. On Saturday evening I was reviewing images on the computer and noticed a distant object in one scenic shot of mountains due west. The dome-shaped/triangular/??? object appears in only one shot taken at 11:51.
The other shots I took were probably spaced 30 seconds to several minutes apart, most of which were in the same general direction as the shot with object. My first thought was debris on the CCD sensor (highly unlikely, sealed housing and all other shots clean) but I do not believe this to be the case. If this is indeed an object and not some kind of digital "noise", I estimate that its position places it somewhere over the National Park or beyond.
Obviously, I have no information on possible movements, velocity, etc., however, I think object is slightly blurred, which would indicate very high rate of speed given distance to object and sunny conditions If object is real I probably did not detect it on site because I was taking pictures with CCD camera through low res. LCD viewfinder I have absolutely opinion either way about the existence of UFOs but do feel that there is no reason to suspect other than an earthbound explanation for such events - whether or not such an explanation can be readily obtained in all cases.
There is a county airport some distance away and hot air ballons are very popular this time of year in the county. If it were a balloon, however, I would have likely imaged it in one or more photos I took before and after the one that recorded the object. I report this only as an unbiased curiousity that others may find helpful.

Falling bright white object seen over Annandale, VA. area night of 11\9\02. WHO ELSE SAW IT!!?? Between 12:30am and 12:45am, not sure of exact time, I saw what looked like a shooting star in the area of Annandale, VA.
The strange thing was that it wasn't "shooting", it was "falling" vertically down towards the ground. I saw it for no more than 4 to 5 seconds. It was bright white as a star, but became visible at a certain piont in the sky and faded out at a certain point.
It was no longer visible a few hundred feet from the ground. The white light went out. I ask that anyone who was in the Annandale area of Virginia, and think they saw something similar late Sat.
night, 11\9\02, to file a report on this website. ((NUFORC Note: There may be some confusion with the date. The witness seems to indicate that the event occurred after midnight on Saturday night, which would mean it occurred on Sunday morning, November 10th.

Flashing, strobing lights filling all areas of the sky See Previous report dated 3/30/01 from Disputanta. I sent you the video. No need to include this in your database.
Thought you might like to know that this happened again. But this time there were so many planes and lights all over the sky (from EVERY direction in the sky) for over a 30 min period. The lights strobed as they did before.
There were lights that were headed in one direction and turned on a dime and headed in the opposite direction. I personally witnessed not one, but TWO objects that were moving so fast they appeared to be meteors (shooting stars).that is how fast they moved.
I couldn't possible describe them as they were just a blur. Military jets came out for the occasion and circled the area. I certainly can't state whether they were part of this anomoly or checking it all out.
They normally fly over during maneuvers, but not at night. There was one jet that flew a complete 360 and then a second. It was incredibly busy out here tonight and oh so strange.
I would love to get this on video, but don't know what to use to capture this activity so that it is visible. I might add you CAN hear the planes.there were a couple over the 30 min period that WERE planes and then the military jets.
But I would say there were thirty to fifty objects that made no sound, made no sense as far as movement and of course the strobing lights. I just can't imagine that one would see thirty to fifty planes in the air within a thirty to forty five minute period. Curious.
Just FYI and for the record. I fully expect to see this again and maybe it will be another two years, but I will be watchful. ((name deleted)).

Glowing UFO spotted around a military airstation My wife exclaimed, "Look! What's that in the sky?" I looked up and saw a strangely lit disk shape with a white or blue light blinking on top and bottom. The UFO was lit in a very peculiar manner. It seemed every inch was perfectly lit, as if the object itself was glowing.
The color was a pale greenish. there seemed to be a ring around the disk that was a darker color, perhaps black, though it still was completely visible against the night sky. The moon was not out, as it was hidden behind the clouds.
The only light source I can imagine was from the UFO itself. It hovered stationary, it seemed, though we were in a car. When we pulled into our driveway, the tree line in our neighborhood blocked our view, so we lost sight.
If the UFO was moving, it was doing so very slowly and in a kind of sliding manner. I am going to go and look for it again. Hopefully i will have more to add, along with photos, in a short while.
Oh, one more thing. As soon as we got out of the car, we heard jets roaring. We live near an air station, so that is not abnormal.
However, the jets were flying in 2 pairs, away from the direction we saw the craft. The speed and throttling of the jets seemed to be slightly abnormal for the weather and night situation.

witnessed an object not far above the highway with steady green and red, and white lights near I95 in Richmond, VA While driving home to RI from Florida on Rt.95 I noticed ahead in the sky a flying object with red, green, and white light "glide" around in a circle about 300ft above the highway. I thought it was a helicopter except the light pattern suggested a different shape, as the lights were where wings would have been.
But it didn't act like a plane by its maneuvers. It swooped down toward the ground then back up again. There were no other aircraft in the sky and I don't know what was on the ground below the object, but it seemed to be searching for something on the ground.
I only watched it for about 2 minutes as we drove north and couldn't see it anymore. It just seemed "odd" in its actions and appearance and the lights didn't seem to fit those of an aircraft. The lights didn't blink but were constant.
I have no idea what it was; it did not glow, but only had those lights. It stayed in the same area until I couldn't see it anymore. It just seemed "different" from any aircraft.

Silent V-shaped aircraft slowly glided over Williamsburg, VA, then disappeared instantly. My friend and I glanced up in the night sky at what we thought was a flock of geese in V formation. But it was lights on an aircraft gliding slowly and silently to the southeast.
One side of the V was shorter than the other. I think there were about 7 pale yellow lights on one side, about 5 on the other. The lights appeared oblong, not circular.
Our line of sight was obscured as it moved behind a lone tree, but then it didn't come out from behind the tree. It disappeared. No sound.
I've only seen photos of Stealth Bombers from above--do they have lights like this? Are Stealth Bombers silent? We are located close to Camp Peary and other military bases. ((NUFORC Note: We spoke at length with this witness, and found her to be an exceptional witness. We cannot confirm the assertion made below: "The Report "November 1st, A Silent V-shaped aircraft slowly glided over Williamsburg, VA, then disappeared instantly. " is a hoax! Make an Level- and Contrastcorrection and Lighten up the picture, and you can see the shapes from the trees, but no shapes from the space-craft. The lights are simply made by computer.

Jackrock shaped object seen in broad daylight We saw an object in the form of 5 rods with spheres on the ends of them. It was solid and a dark gray color. The rods seemed to shift position on a central axis.
The object was hovering at about 200 ft. and drifting slowly towards the south until it went out of sight. It made no sound and had no conventional means of keeping it aloft.
We observed it for about 10 min.

Silent oval/circular/disc semi-transpernt hovering object. On the day of Sunday, October 20th, 2002, @ 5:31pm EDT in Manassas, VA, (about 35 miles WSW of Washington, DC), when I saw what appeared to be a balloon in the eastern sky heading over the trees to the SW. My 22 month old son can be heard in the background.
I used my Sony 360X to record this 30 second clip. I also had the film stopped (later) at .07 second intervals and will send some of those still shots.
One of the interesting things about the timing of the event is that it was during time the snipers were running around the greater DC area, shooting people at random, including a shooting in Manassas, only a few days earlier. Also, this was on the heels of the 2001 attacks on the Pentagon so for two autumns in a row people were on edge and were hunkering down. Hardly anyone was out and about and I was flabbergasted as to why someone would throw a birthday party (where I thought the "balloon" was coming from) knowing that they (the snipers) were targeting children as well.
After forgetting about this for nearly a decade, I dug out my HI-8 take from this time frame and decided to take a second look. I looked back and the weather for that day and temperatures were in the 60s with a light wind and it didn’t look like any atmospheric phenomena or temperature inversions were in the area. It was completely silent and I lost it behind the trees.
If you slow the film down, it looks like a football inside a gyroscope trying to right itself for a possible take off. To me, it looked/acted like a plasma. If you see some of the files in succession, the leaves on the trees are effected as if there were some kind of ionizing radiation or magnetic field was being given off.
As I mentioned in a previous report, I worked on NASA contracts and possess a BA in Physics with a Graduate Certificate in Space Operation. I currently teach Physics in another state (my family and I were living in Virginia at the time).

Look I can't recall the date exactly, but it was in that area of time especially the hour of night. It could be in a range of two weeks or so from the date. This is what I saw.
I was sitting on the side steps at my house smoking a cigarette (tobacco). And I looked up at the sky and I saw an object moving fast threw the sky at amazing speed. The tail seemed to be on fire.
Not a long tail at al short but burning. Well i thought it was an afterburner. You know ex Navy here aircraft-carrier duty.
But the fire went out and through the dark I could see a circular object moving through the sky still at a fast rate of speed. This thing was moving. So i said don't get spooked out to myself and waited for sound of the turbines.
But guess what the sound never came. So then I was spooked out. I don't know why I waited this long to report it sorry.
Oh yea this thing was'nt small either it was fairly big. Well it scared the shit out of me. Later!! Oh yea i ain't ((deleted--attempting to fool)) ya niether I know what i saw.

UFO sighting in Poquoson VA. I have just seen something I have never in my life witnessed. At about 9:35 I was driving to return a movie and saw a brilliant bright light streaking across the sky in my sight, I had to stop the van and look.
As the object traveled across at an extremely high rate of speed it disappeared. I couldn't believe it. It was something unexplainable.
I returned home and contacted Langley Air Force Base who confirmed that they had no testing or aircraft up tonight. (we have cloudy conditions here as the tropical depression approaches) I also contacted the local TV station to see if it was perhaps a meteor of some kind or if perhaps someone else had called in about this incredible sight. They informed that they had any calls yet but that they would check for the possibility of a meteor or whatever else it might be.
I have NEVER seen anything like this, this bright object was traveling at an incredibly high rate of speed and just disappeared in mid air. I wish to God I had a camcorder or camera with me at the time. Proof is always better with a photo or picture.
I hope you check this out or at least find this as interesting as I do. ((name deleted)) ((FOLLOW-UP REPORT FROM SAME WITNESS)) It was more than likely less than a minute. I stopped my van in the street to watch it.
I did see it though. I am not some nut case who thinks green men are invading. I was driving my vehicle and noticed the object through the windshield on my left hand side (the front left side).
It was very bright and was traveling extremely fast. It was at this point I stopped the van (there wasn't any traffic in my lane). As I watched the object soar through the sky, I tried to see if it could be one of Langley's aircraft, but the object disappeared as it was traveling from NE to NW.
There was no trail that I saw behind it, it just disappeared mid air. I was shocked. I still can't believe I saw it all.
This did however occur and I immediately called Langley AFB/NASA to ask if there was any type of testing or flights in the air. They assured me there were none. I spoke with 2 people there and told them what I had observed.
I also contacted the local news to check on the possibility of a meteor or if perhaps other people had phoned in about the object as well. They said I was the first so far but they would check it out. No meteor reporting so far.
Anyway, you can choose to believe what you want, but I did see this happen. I really wish I could have captured the whole thing on film for irrefutable proof, but that just isn't the case. Thank-You again for your time.
((END FOLLOW-UP)).

I wish I had known about this reporting system sooner, so that the explanation I am about to give would be fresher in my mind. Nevertheless, I remember it well enough; its not exactly something I will ever forget. It was a bright, sunny, beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky.
I was in the car in the back seat, on the right side. Several people were in the car with me, we were driving down the street, maybe 40 or 45 mph. I looked up and suddendly saw a small, round, metallic object hovering silently above the tree line.
It didn't seem like it was more than 500 ft in the air. The UFO was reflecting the sun violently, the top of it was very bright. There was no jet streak.
Also, it might have been spinning, but it was difficult to tell. The really interesting part is the fact that I had no urge to tell the other people in the car. For some reason I got this weird sense of calmness, like I somehow knew that the beings on board meant me no harm.
So I just stared at this thing for maybe a minute or two, trying to figure it out as it contunued to hover in the air. I was also in the process of reading a book about UFO conspiracy, so the experience was especially surreal, since it was on my mind. The most outstanding part of the experience was when it left.
When it departed, it did so in a path that was directly away from me, moving in a staight line. So, from my perspective, it appeared to get smaller and smaller, at a very high rate of speed. Very very high rate of speed.
The craft literally blasted off into the atmosphere and out into space in a matter of seconds, and still, making no noise at all. It still left me with that state of calmness, and I hesitated to tell the others who were in the car. I still havn't told them, they probably won't believe me.
I honestly believe that the beings on the craft knew that I saw them, and somehow made a telepathic connection with my subconcious mind, which calmed me, preventing me from feeling scared. The fact that it went away DIRECTLY from my point of view, in a staight line, I feel, supports this, since the chances of that happening coincidentally are very slim. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.
