we saw a white sphere that had two whisker like thin rays on each side of our view . it was just up in the sky . it didnot move or make a sound.

i was apassenger in the car. i was going to work. when iwent through the gate at the plant, i showed another guy.

we both agreed it wasn t venus and it did not twinkle. it was high but not out of our atmospere. if it was a heavenly body would we see it again at the same approx time and place the next day? we didn t.

Object seen over the skies of Kentucky. On Friday, November 8th at approximatley 15:00 hours, I observed two jet aircraft off in the distance. They seemed to be following one another.

At that time, I noticed a bright object resembling a star in the same vacinity as the aircraft. The bright object dissappeared from my sight and it was at that time that both aircraft made a sharp right turn and were coming in my direction (aircraft were going north and made a turn to the south-east). I then looked straight up and noticed an object above resembling an aircraft body but was unable to distinguish any wings on the object.

The aircraft were leaving vapor trails but the object was not. The aircraft then made another right turn as if following the object. I could not tell what type of aircraft they were because of their altitude, I assumed they were military.

The object was shiney silver in color and appeared to be large. The following day, I told my brother about what I had seen and he informed me of the object seen by the photographer for FOX TV. I then found the picture of that object on this website and it appeared to be similar in shape to what I had seen.

Very bright white flash of light high in the sky moving south fadding out as it went over Kentucky. I was standing outside looking into the southern sky around 8:30 to 9:00pm. {I've always been a star watcher} When a very bright flash of white light appeared over my head slightly to the southeast.

When I first seen it out of the corner of my eye. It was so bright it cause me to involuntarily flinch or like duck a little. It was like in the instant I was seeing it out of the corner of my eye it was like it had been closer to me causing me to duck.

when I turned my eyes to it. It looked about the size of a penny held at arms length but very high in the sky. the flash kind of looked like a arc flash from a welder but very large brightwhite and high.

As I watched it it slowly faded and moved to the south dimming as it went. as it dimmed it seamed to have a elongated egg shape and about the same bluish color as a star. also when it was dimmer it appeared to be among the stars way up in the firmament.

From where I first seen it to where it faded out completely and was gone. With a rule held at arms length it moved like three inches across the sky. It all lasted about five seconds.

I'm a 45 year old male and have always liked watching the stars. I've seen Jupiter and it's moons, Saturn and it's rings, mars, and VENUS, many shooting stars satellites And also some kind of large space junk burning up in the atmosphere and it was none of the above! Silver saucer shaped craft moving in rapid eratic movements and 90 degree turns. It was about 5PM in the evening and I was getting ready to start work when I was walking through the parking lot where the trucks were parked and something caught my eye in the sky almost directly overtop of me.It was a very nice day out,warm sunny etc.

I saw this object in the sky and it was moving in very rapid,eratic movements.There were big puffy cumulonimbus clouds that day and right at cloud level is where I saw it.The object looked like it was saucer shaped and silver or a stainless steel color.

The underneath side was dark because of it's shadow and the top was gleaming due to sunlight.I watched it for about 30 seconds to a minute and it seemed strange to me that it was at such a high altitude and was moving really fast.Honestly,it looked like whomever was piloting this craft was either learning how to fly it or drunk cause it didn't have a set course.

It zig-zagged across the sky in a small area back and forth,slowing down and speeding up and turning at 90 degree angles at times.Planes at this altitude appears to be moving really slow but they aren't,so this tells me that this object,even though moving in short distances,was moving extremely fast.I watched it for a short while and it disappeared into the cloud just above it.

On aug 31st and sept 1st in the west sky.I saw a off white ball of light in the sky.It flashed from off white to red sometimes more red.

it was a long way off in the distance about the size of a golf ball.it hovered there in the same spot 4 about 15 min's then the light faded out and shoetly appered in another spot not far from where it was 1st seen it hovered there changing from off white to red.It seemed to b decending to the tree line in a falling leaf patern but so slow u couldnt tell for sure.

If that makes any sence.then very slowly it began to move away into the west sky.The next night I saw the same thing,except this time it was in the same place i had last saw it the night before.

It just hovered there for about an hour and then agian slowly disapered into the west sky.I have been told by my coworkers that it has been there several times in the past month.even on aug 29th & 30th.

I wish someone could please shed some light on this 4 all of us.We would love to know if it's really a ufo or not. ((NUFORC Note: Our guess would be a twinkling star.

I''m located along the ohio river and the orange object was east of downtown. There Was a light around it, the color was orange. Then the light dimmed and then went behind some trees and i did not see it any more it also stayed in one spot for about 5 minutes.

dancing light(s) I was just about to go to bed on Friday night, and was sitting in my bed. I had just turned off my reading light to try and force myself to go to sleep because I knew I needed to get up relatively early in the morning even though I wasn't particularly tired. I lay there in bed and happened to look out my second story window and saw a small gray object outside my window.

I wasn't sure what it was so I sat up and took a closer look. As it turned out it was nothing but some piece of electrical equipment attached to an electrical wire coming from the pole. I had a good laugh at myself and was about to lay back down when a quick flash of light caught my eye.

My window looks directly east. ((NUFORC NOTE: Should read "west." Please see note below.

)) In my field of vision was a two story apartment building with parking lights pointing in my direction. Directly behind that is a 4 story hospital. Well about 1 1/2 hands high above the hospital is where I saw the light.

It was a smallish light - mostly white but every once in a while I would see red glimpses. The reason it caught my eye is that it was moving at incredible speeds. So I sat there and watched it for a moment.

At first I thought thought there were 2 or three lights in the sky -because it seemed like they were chasing each other. They were doing impossible loops, switchbacks and S curves. I got excited and ran downstairs to get my housemate who was still up watching TV to make sure I get someone else to see this so nobody could say I was crazy.

He came up and and saw the light too. He saw them doing the loops, etc. but he is the kind of person that quickly dismisses anything outside his purview.

He said: It's just a light - probably a spotlight - and left to go back downstairs. I continued to watch it. The light(s) were appearing on just past the edge of a line of clouds from a front that was passing by.

The front contained the kind of clouds that look like thick fish scales - I forget their name - like a tight pattern of small cumulus clouds but not very thick. Just past the front where I was seeing the light ! there we re some high cirrus clouds that were thinning to the point that I could see a star. When I first noticed the spectacle I thought that there were 2 or maybe 3 lights up there dancing around, but the more I watched I realized that I was just watching one light - the other must have left or it was always just the one.

Anyway, the light was smallish in size - about as bright as say Venus or Sirrus and about as big in size. I got the impression that the light was quite a distance away because as it was doing its loops and spirals it was reflecting its light in the thin clouds around it. With my roommates thought of a spotlight in mind I tried to discern whether this was really the case as it was staying in the general vacinity of where I was looking - namely just above the hosiptal.

I quickly dismissed this idea becuase it wasn't showing any kind of pattern that I could see. At times the light was moving slowly and then it would suddenly move as fast as a shooting star. It seemed to be roughly circling something but it was just going around in cirlcles.

It was doubling back on itself in extremely tight turns at very high speeds. Because there were some electrical lines in my way of sight I decided to go downstairs to see if I could get a better view. I ended up standing on the bed of my roomates truck and ended up watching the light for a total duration of about 1/2 hour - 45 min.

Even though there were lights illuminating the parking lot across the street the light could still be easily seen darting in and out of clouds and doing its dance. The light was not constant in that I could always see it. For brief moments it would disappear behind the clouds or moved so fast that my eyes had to catch up with it.

It watched it until another line of thick clouds obscured the light and I thought it was over so I went back to bed. Once upsatairs and in bed I took one last look outside and saw the light one last time - this time it shot straight up and that was it. I never thought I'd be reporting a UFO though I've alw! ays want ed to see one.

I'm currently an umemployed fine artist and I had just moved here less than a week ago. I like to think that I have an excellent eye for detail and have enough control over my emotions not to latch on to any one idea, having a very open mind. I was a Benedictine monk for 2 years and had just recently finished a 6 month stint infiltrating and gathering information on a racist organization.

(if you could leave that part out it would be greatly appreciated). I am telling you this to let you know that although I may be eccentric and in some folks eyes considered weird - I have my head firmly planted on my shoulders. Also I was completely sober throughout the whole experience.

I would like to know if anyone else in this area had seen this light. The next day I looked at a map to see what falls directly east of where I live. The Ohio river is directly east of me along with a neighborhood and right on the river I saw the Louisville/Jefferson county Riverport Authority which according to my map which was dated 1995 was still under construction.

I hope any of this can be of help. I knew of you people from looking at rense.com.

I saw a silver object that just seemed to hover over the top of the mountain. I was driving down the road and happened to glance up to my right, where over the top of the mountain was something that looked kinda like a flying PT Cruiser. I know it sounds crazy but that's what I thought of when I saw it.

I drew it to the attention of the other passenger in the car, and she saw it to. But I looked forward at the road and when I looked back it was gone. It was broad daylight and I know I saw something that looked like a PT Cruiser just hovering over the top of the mountain.

me my dad, step mom, sister, an brother were driving home from the grocery store when what we sall looked to be a saucer shaped air craft.it was a cloudy night really thick, at first we thought it was just the light of an airplane, we were wrong. when it emerged out of the clouds it was like a bright orange an green lights blinkin on an off.

the lights only lasted for like ten seconds then they turned off an we could not see it any more. that was not the last time we saw it about thirty min later after we got home i looked off in the ditance an saw the light in the clouds again! Several Lights Above Grandma's House My Grandmother passed away earlier this past year, and she always kept telling other people and me about a very strange incident that happened to her back in 2002. Her amazing story never changed every time she told people about it either. My Grandmother back then was still in good mind too, and was very good in details.

She had just gotten out of the hospital several weeks before from having had heart surgery, and was trying to sleep that dark night back in 2002. As Grandma tells it, late that particular night she got up out of bed to get her a glass of water in the kitchen when she noticed something strange directly outside of her house low up in the sky. Something seemed to be glowing outside directly above the treetops in her front yard.

When she looked outside the side living room window into the treetops she saw what appeared to be a cluster of glowing lights of some sort. She said that they were moving around in every direction, were several different colors, and that there were many of them too. They all glowed tremendously bright.

We both later agreed that they all could have been part of a very large object that was hovering directly over her house. She did tell us that that she never heard any type of noise at all during this sighting, and that she did watch these mysterious objects (lights) for over an hour moving around in the same location. My Grandmother back earlier in her life had a somewhat similar experience she always told us about too.

Back in 1962 or so she had seen a large jet plane being followed or shadowed by a small flying disk. She could clearly make out the disk and the airplane in the Scottsville sky that day. They appeared to be far away.

Anyway, I must tell you that my late Grandmother was always a devout Christian her entire life. Grandma would never lie or make up a story such as this just for fun either. I believe her strange story, and I thought that you might like to read it.

By the way, your Web site is spectacular and very informative. The story that I have just told you IS true-not fiction. Evidently, it seems that there are many people throughout the world that are believers in UFO's now because of their own encounters.

I can honestly tell you that I have seen them too, and that they are real-whatever they are. Something strange is going on across our world that defies our own human logic or explanation. Whatever it is truly mystifies us all! Thank you.

A light collides with something causing an explosion the light remains then disappears. This event had been totally forgotten until Dec 29 2002. My brother-in-law phoned me to ask if I remebered seeing the UFO this past summer.

I had no idea what he was talking about. He had only remembered because his wife had asked him about it that night. She did NOT see it.

We had told her about it. After he began describing what had happened, I said "Oh my gosh! I had totally forgotten". Here is the little bit that I do recall.

It was a hot summer night and we had gone outside . It was late and we were just enjoying the clear star filled night. I was visiting my sister and brother-in-law and life was good.

All I remember so far is the bright streak of whitish light a loud boom like an explosion then the light stayed for a couple of seconds then it was gone. The whole thing lasted maybe 30 seconds. If we had not been looking up at the night sky, we would have only heard the boom, but it so happens we saw it and heard it.

Our reactions were "Oh my gosh what did we just see?" "What was that?" . We expected people to come outside to see what the boom was but no one did. We went inside woke up my sister and told her we thought we'd just seen a UFO.

Like I said, this was totally forgotten and never mentioned again until last night Dec. 29. My memory is not good about what we saw in detail but I definitely, positively remember the reactions we had to what we saw.

I remember the emotion experienced rather than the sighting. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sorry I couldn't be of greater assistance.

10 to 20 second fly by in south western sky in Union Kentucky mysterious no noise, super fast, near CVG. Looking out my kitchen window as the sun was setting I see a majority of airplanes approaching CVG to land, and even see planes pass by way up in the sky. My family are a bunch of pilots and I have been taught by them how to identify aircraft in the sky.

Around 8:40pm looking out I noticed a group of birds flying just above the horzion and above a tall tree, so I can imagine the birds were about 80 to 200 feet above. As soon as I watched the birds fluttering up and down heading from left to right across my window I noticed another object about the same size as the birds from my distance, but it didn't flutter. It went really fast, faster than any bird and it kept very straight and steady.

And it seemed to be just above the birds, but as quick as it was I really couln't tell the distance from the object to the ground. I would say it lasted between 10 seconds to 20 seconds that I saw it. By that time the object has disappeared out of my sight and the birds were still just making it barely to the half way point of my vision from my window.

The object passed the whole window, so I can use that as a measuring tool. The speed astounded me, because it was unreal. When airplanes approach or fly over, you hear them from inside my house.

There was no noise from the craft. No sonic boom, nothing! Note airplanes you can make out a shape because they are not that fast to the point that you can't tell its an airplane. Everyone knows this.

Of course it could be the airforce, but then there would of been some sonic boom or some noise. I wonder if anyone else noticed this object. Lastly, there were planes in the sky above, and they definitly could not compare to the unidentified object that I saw, meaning there was clearly something unusual about what i saw compared to a cesna, 747, 737, 777, or any other commericial and non commerical aircraft.

moving stars. I saw 3 stars move and fly into deep space I was on a mountain looking for a cabin. I was low on gas.

I decided to turn back. Before going off the mountain I was amazed by how beautiful the sky looked. I got out of my Chevy Blazer and climbed on the roof to lay back for a few and check out the sky.

The stars were beautiful. I stoped on a certin star to look at it. There were all kinds of stars in the sky but I stoped at this certin one.

The star had a few stars about the same size around it. All at once the stars around the one I was looking at started to move. They moveed to gether but not perfect.

They moved down away from the one I stoped on. They continued to move for about a minute and one of them broke away from the others and flew into another sorounding star. It looked like they were flying in a triangle pattern.

They looked like they were far into space with the stars that didnt move. Eventualy the other 2 went deeper into space and vanished. I know they had to go deeper because thier light slowly dimmed until they were not visible to the eye.

I now no there is life in space. or angels. The reason I say angels is because I prayed to God that he would show me somthing in the sky that night and 1 min later, I saw those stars move if they are stars.

Today is the 28th its 230 in the morning. Yesterday or last night. I saw it agian.

This time I saw one of them it lasted for about 30 sec. It vanished also. I am trying to conceve what I saw.

Its hard to accept but I have to. I seen it with my own eyes. I am a smart sain person and Believe in GOD and Jesus.

I have no reason to lie and cant profit from this in anyway. There is no record of what I saw. nobody will be able to say that what ever I saw that night and the night after wasn't real.

It was so amazing! I am so happy now. It confuses me because I didnt belive that there was life other than whats on earth. If anybody was looking in the same spot I was, with or without a telescope they must have said something or seen something.

Take it from me and believe that we are not alone in some shape or fashion. Those thing were alive and bright as a star. Thank you.

Plane disappears into belly of hovering craft over Man O'War Blvd. In Lexington KY, and witnesses forgot about it temporarily. This event ranks as THE single strangest thing that has ever happened to me in my life and there are two others that witnessed this as well.

I am fuzzy on the date of this event, as somehow, all three of our memories were temporarily wiped clean. As awesome as this spectacle was, we forgot about it, which to me lends more questions than it does answers; Our memories of this event had just gone away -- that was until last night Dec 29, 2002, when my wife made a comment about a strange looking star, and then she said, "was that like the UFO you all saw that night?" Then the forgotten memory hit me like a ton of bricks. We must have told her about it before our memories lapsed.

It was sometime in the summer around July or August when this occurred, we are not for sure the date. But, ((female name deleted)), my sister-in-law, ((male name deleted)), my best friend and I were in my back yard. They were smokers and my wife Stacie and I did not allow smoking in doors.

It was very late; I run an e-commerce site and at the time was keeping some peculiar hours due to some temporary bouts of insomnia. I would guess it to be between 3-5am EST. I lay in a hammock looking up into the clear night appreciating nature.

The only noises to be heard were the whispers of us when we spoke infrequently and the whir of a happenstance car going by on the usually crowded Man O’ War boulevard, a major road running through Lexington, KY, which my backyard borders. A jet in a normal traffic pattern began to fly from east to west. I heard it above us, the unmistakable whining of the jet engines.

However, this time, the plane sounded distressed, in retrospect, I believe that the tremendous noise, the strain on the engines were the pilots trying to pull-away from the object in front of it. Although, with some of my memories still being clouded, I believe that the plane may have been distressed and the object in front of it was saving it from disaster, either way, I doubt that I will ever know the whole truth. Whatever it was, we all now saw it.

We were in awe looking into the sky, we saw an object, which was masterfully crafted, and expertly engineered open it’s hull to accept the whining passenger jet. The massive hovering object sat in the sky above Man O’ War Boulevard, just to our west and allowed the plane to fly seemingly safely into it. It then closed it’s cargo door and with a strange whining/buzzing/electrical noise took of in a streak leaving behind a tremendous explosion which I assumed was a sonic boom.

It ripped into the night sky creating a huge, beautifully galactic light in it’s wake, reminiscent of the Aurora Borealis mixed with the most fantastic lighting storm that you have ever seen. We sat there now in the wake of a booming explosion, and then quiet, nothing happened. No neighbors came to their windows or doors to inspect the calamity.

No sirens, which was surprising as Lexington’s Fire Engine Station 16 sat nearly directly below where this occurrence happened. We all looked at each other with many mixed emotions " fear, dumbfounded ness, shock, amazement. I said, "What in the hell just happened here?" No one answered.

They stared into the sky trying to figure out the grand, celestial event that had just displayed itself in front of our very eyes. If there hadn’t have been other witnesses to this fact, I would never have mentioned it to a soul for fear of being called crazy. In the silence, I said, "You don’t just see something like that everyday " now do you?" Tom replied in a dumb struck tone, "Nope, no you sure don’t " what just happened?" I replied, "That plane was just taken by that UFO.

" He then said, "Yep. Yep it sure did." Michele laughed and said, "It sure did.

Oh my God.! We were all shaken and a bit frightened, and decided to go back inside to see if ((female name #2 deleted)) heard the commotion. She was asleep and I awoke her, telling her that we saw a UFO.

We all remember going to sleep at that time. It was so funny because in the backs of our minds we new that we should do something, call someone, report this news worthy event, but then we forgot, we all forgot. I called ((deleted--female #1)), who is now in Florida last night after remembering.

I asked her if she remembered the UFO, she was greeted with a ton of bricks, her memories somewhat returned. We talked awestruck for about 15 minutes or so. What I also find funny about the event is that all of the witnesses just after that incident seemed to keep separate from each other.

small mystery object over Wal-Mart On my way back into Richmond from the Blue Grass Army Depot, a friend and I saw a strange object floating across the Eastern By-pass, from the K-Mart side over to a position above Wal-Mart's parking lot. At first we thought the object was a kite, because of its erratic path, but then it would often straighten up and move in a very deliberate direction, like a manned object. I used my digital camera as a binoculars by looking through the zoom lens at maximum range, and after close inspection I clearly saw something moving on the side of the object facing me.

To me, depending on the size perspective, it seemed to be either a small craft reminiscent of the old Apollo Lunar Landers, or it was something like an Autogyro, the old "flying chair" device that's been used in military recon missions for decades. If it was the latter, the movement I saw on it could have been the person operating it. The object was seen by a great many people in the parking lot and by persons on the Eastern By-Pass.

UFOs are very commonplace in the vicinity of the Blue Grass Army Depot and I wasn't surprised when the event did not make the local news.

Large, bright red light flashed from high above. What I seen was not a craft, but a large, bright, red flash of light with an odd shape. it lasted maybe 1 second.

triangle shaped object hovered over field for 15 mins. in agricultural area in KY. My mother was telling me about an odd occurence that happend near her house.

She was in her 2nd floor bedroom when she looked out her bedrooms picture window, she saw a triangle shaped craft aproximatly .50 mile distance from her room north. It had 3 blue lights on each corner, & a red light in the middle.

It hovered over this field for about 15 mins. After a short time she woke my father so he would see it too. He woke up & described the same craft to me after she told me a week or so before.

I heard a wooshing sound and I walked outside to see what it was. It was a little cloudy. I saw a black object hovering about as high as a light post.

The observation occurred in bright daylight in the afternoon. I was traveling north in a vehicle at 5 mph and observed a meteor-type falling object in the north sky. Initial sighting was at 30 degrees above the horizon and it was falling left to right at 10 degrees from vertical.

The oject was silver to white and was brighest immediately before it disappeared at 10 degrees above the horizon. In checking with the Regional National weather station the following day, they had other similar reports of the same meteor-like object, one from a location 50 miles to the north. I am curious as to what I observed, since nothing has been reported in the local media.
