Bright quarter Moon-shaped object over a ridge top, entirely lit up over and over, almost like a series of photos in the sky. Although in the above question box I said this object was a chevron, it would be like a chevron stood on its end. This object was like a quarter Moon, with the filled in portion of the Moon at the lower left side.

It was a bright white light and its movement was in a jerky fashion, or at least my visibility of it was jerky. It was like a series of snapshots in the sky. Always moving in the same direction, always the same altitude (just over the top of a ridge about 500 feet tall).

In comparison to trees, it eventually went behind the object must have been at least 25 feet high, maybe 50. It was almost as tall as the trees. Finally (which was not fast), it disappeared behind the trees, continuing on in the same direction and speed (which was not fast).

I moved out in the yard to follow it and I could see the light from it behind the trees. I was outside to warm up the car prior to my wife and I going out for the evening. It made no sound at all.

five lights moving in formation i woke up to have a cigarette. i was on the deck watching the stars and looking for satallites when i saw the lights. they looked like stars except that they were moving.

the lights stayed in a formation that looked like the five side of a dice . and turned counter clockwise in a circle. i watched it move slowly across .

the sky for a maybe two minutes before i lost sight of it.

My friend and i were parked by Mitchell International Airport watching the planes land when my friend saw a triangle shaped craft coming only a few hundred feet off the runway. It seemed to be rising at a high speed until it disapeared into the sky. It wasn't that far away but it made no sound at all.

My wife woke me to ask me what was in the sky,we could both see it without getting out of bed,it was a triangle with brite blueish white lites all around it. When I went to get my camera I fell and broke 3 toes. I dident want to turn the lites on .

I went to the door and it looked difrent. At that time it was a brite blue white but must have been further away. The object was brite but U could see that the top and bottem were flat.

I do have a little video of it at this point.Mike.

Triangular Pattern of lights over Lambeau Field 12/8/02 Just after arriving for the Packers/Vikings game a group of us noticed 3 white lights in a triangular pattern come above us and directly over Lambeau Field heading East to West. At first we thought it might be a plane leaving Austin Strabel Airport (several had passed over already), but there was no noticeable sound coming from the object. Due to the wind patterns aircraft had been cleared to take off and approach the airport directly over Lambeau (This was broadcast during the game.

) Since it was dark at the time we seen the object we can only give a description of the pattern not the overall size or distance. Due to it being a prime time broadcast football game(ESPN) a group of us think it might have been some sort of surveillance aircraft, however I have decided to report it just in case.

UFO's Sighted in wis we think this thing is a UFO because at the time we we're driving home about 5:50pm and about that time we saw this object with 2 strobe lights on each side not blinking just strobe lights and it didnt move one bit other cars were pulling over and stopping to look and some drove right by it and it still was just siting there we have a dig camera and we got out to take some pics and when we shot the first picture and a red blinking light apeared in the midle of the stobe lighs which was about 350ft the object was and we kept taking pictures and it started to move slowly at us and stopped over us for 40seconeds before we decieded to get in the car and leave so we take off and it tryes to follow us home and we lost it on the way home and we were almost home when it kinda seems like we blanked out and turned on a differant street which we had to turn around and go back 2 streets but we know we never passed those streets and finally we got home and here i am now i looked at those pics and there pitch black and it was bright this is not the first time either 2 times on the way home there was a bright silverish light blink right in front of us about 200ft high and blink off and the very next day it happend again but like 350ft high we would like to know if this is UFO"S or just somthing else.

Egg shaped bright and blinking lights descending slowly amoung cloud, then disappearing egg shaped object with very brightlight around perimeter of egg shape with bright blinking light in center of egg shape. Object first seen above reddish morning clouds. Object desending slowing downward into cloud and slowly dropping beneath cloud.

When looked at through binoculars, light way too bright to make out object. Object then disappeared like magic and gone. Did not return.

On two occasions I saw a craft that everyone tells me doesn't exist. I work at a coal fired power plant, I was outside (smoking a ciggarette) looking toward the coal pile and noticed two bright lights heading toward me. The craft was moving very slowly, it took about 1 1/2 -2 minutes to cover the distance of the coal pile kitty corner.

This is ruffly the distance of 2 football fields I guess. I watched it, trying to figure out why a plane would fly so low or close to the buildings. As it reached the coal belt tubes I could see it had two huge flood lights on the front.

It then banked off to the west and I could see the shape. It reminded me of the stealth bombers. It also had three smaller white lights underneath it.

I later described the craft to a co-worker who has military experience and asked him what sort of craft it was. One other thing that is probably important. I never heard any sound from the craft except possibly a very soft high pitched whine at he edge of my hearing but I wasn't sure if it was from the craft or the plant behind me.

I thought the craft. in a blink it was gone. Anyway, my co-worker said no such craft exist as we know it.

A stealth bomber is niether slow nor quiet. A hareier (?) jet would be the only thing that could fly that slow and they are not quiet either. He said either I had good drugs, which I don't, or it was a UFO.

I don't know. Only know I saw but didn't hear. This was not the first time I saw this craft or one just like it.

On sept 11, 2001, yes, the day the towers were hit, thats why I remember, I went to the store in the evening, probably around 21:00 hrs and on my way home saw the same type of craft coming toward me just above the trees. It too, was moving very slow and not making any noise. I put my head out the window and looked up the craft.

it was almost directly above me, I felt I could have reached out and touched it. I watched it for a while, it continued as it was for a few minutes then took off. As it was heading in the general direction of Mitchel field where there is an air force base, I assumed it was a stealth bombe! r called out because of the events of the day.

Until I talked to my co-worker about the latest episode I was unaware of the actual flight limitations of the stealth and that 'stealth' does not mean slow and quite but un-detectable by radar. So I don't know what I saw. Maybe you do.

((ADDENDUM TO REPORT ABOVE)) correction to previously filed report. I was able to determine the correct date for a report filed for 11/06/02, The correct date is 11/11/02. I found this by asking a co-worker about a job we had worked on and looking back in our log book to find what day that job happened.

we saw pure a light that occasionaly split into 3 to 4 different lights. Me and my friends were walking down the road and we noticed a flashing pure light. this light was never there before, because it was by our radio hill.

then we stopped and the flashing kept moving around and then the light would ocasionally split into 3 to 4 different lights and go back. but we only saw one mainly. The light was at a 30-35 degree angle horizontal from or location.

It apeared to be a sphereical light becase when it flashed the light came out in all directions and i can allso tell that it was below the clouds because when it flashed it lit up the clouds behind it above it and below it. I have lived here many years and have never seen a light like that before . We could also see it moving slowly we could tell this because we compared it to a tree branch by it and the light of the radio tower.

it seemed to spit one flash but by the time the next flash took place it rejoined to one; possibly could be tight formation at long range doing maneuvering and the rejoining formation. Sorry for the miss spelling but i am a little shaken up. i hope i included all infromation.

Very intense orange-yellow light moves from south to north in early A.M. and late P.

M. Since I live on a farm with my parents, I have to get up to do chores in the morning, and I do the same at night. During the winter months, it is usually dark at those times, so the night sky can be visible if it isn't cloudy.

On several occasions, I have witnessed a bright yellow-orange light off to both the east and west of our house, which remains stationary for a period of about ten minutes. One particular evening, the object appeared in the southwestern sky, clearly visible in the twilight. I observed it slowly (very, very slowly) moving from south to north for a period of about ten minutes (to hazard a guess, I would say it moved about an inch from my perspective in the sky).

I walked into our barn to feed our animals, and about three minutes later when I walked out, the object was due west, having moved significantly in that short amount of time. It can also be observed off to the southeast sometimes in the morning, and it usually does the same thing. Look away for a few minutes, and it will have moved significantly across the sky.

I know for sure that it isn't a form of aircraft (such as the MedFlight that flies around every now and again) because there was no sound emitted. The light is also very intense, and it never blinks. In addition, there are no major airports anywhere near us, only a small one across town that houses small aircraft.

White light varying in intensity at going bright then dim across sky, then changeing to white, red, and blue in rapid succession appea I was working at the gas station, I went out for a cigarette it was 7:30pm. I was Faceing west, I happend to look around at the night sky. A light straight ahead of me at about 30 degrees (it was small about half the size of a pencil erassor if you hold it in front of you) I am guessing it was pretty far away.

It was white but got bright and then went dim to the point of not seeing it in the sky and then got bright again. about 2 to 3 seconds in between dark and bright. i watched it move south for about 2 minutes.

I also asked a man who was filling up his truck if he was seeing what i was seeing. his response was " Hmm that is a weird looking plane isn't it". I then had to wait on 2 costomers and went outside around 7:43pm and looked in the area i had last seen it.

the light seemed to have gotten smaller and was flashing from white to red and then blue extremely fast. It stayed in the same spot for about 5 mins I had called my mother (she lives close to where i work) then I went outside and waited for my mom. Itstarted to moved north in the same degree and path that the White light moved except in the oppisite direction.

my mom had arrived and looked at it and she thought it was a slow moveing plane.

Second sighting.Madison, WI This is my second submission. My first submission concerned a sighting witnessed by myself and several others.

This particular sighting was all mine. I awoke just a minute or two before 3:00AM and went to use the facilities. As I was standing at the sink washing my hands, I noticed a light over Lake Mendota.

Assuming it was a rescue helicopter bound for the University of WI Hospitals and Clinics ER, I looked away and finished washing up. When I looked again, I noticed the light had become somewhat brighter, and had not moved from the spot where it had been before. Now, having witnessed something like this before, AND having just seen the movie "Signs" several hours before, I wasn't willing to accept that this was anything unusual.

As I watched the light, it began to change color and pulsate. I actually spoke out loud and said: "Oh, not THIS again!" half in jest, and half in earnest. As I said that, a small, red light poppped out and shot away from the larger light.

Zip! And it was gone. At that point, I decided I'd seen enough. I spoke again, out loug, and said: "Look, you guys.

either take me with you or go away!". Then I went back to bed. I have no explanations.

I neither believe nor disbelieve in UFOs, aliens, or other odd phenomena. I'm only reporting what I've seen.

The light was directly over my head, and no sound of a aircraft. While working for a defence contrator, I was part of a crew that was testing medium caliber ammunition on a US Army training center in central Wisconsin. I and another employee, and a government inspector were in a observation post above and behind the weapon used to test the ammunition.

This test was conducted at night in order to see the tracer. We were firing and impacting about 5000 meters down range. To my surprise two lights appeared in the sky about 500 ft high and about 1500 meters down range.

Thinking a aircraft had adccidently entered a forbidden airspace I called for a stop to all firing. The lights were lit for about 5 seconds, I telephoned range control to see if any aircraft were in the area, they said no. It was total quiet no sound of a plane.

The two lights that were side by side looked about 30-50 feet apart, estimating from the distance from us. After about 10 minutes a light from above appeared on my right, just above the low clouds. This light was on for about 2 seconds, the light came on again, this time directly above us for about another 2 seconds, then a third time to the left of us.

three red lights formed triangle and faded away i was walking out to my car and noticced in the sky 3 red lights moving across i called my cousin out to see if she had seen anything like it before and knew what they were. she had no clue so we walked down the street a little bit to get a better look they formed a triangle and faded away after about a min an a half i have never seen or heard of anything like this before until i googled it and there have beed alot of reports of exactly what we saw!.

Very large triangular object seen in Southeast Wisconsin It was a very clear night and I went out to my back patio to let the dog out. Within about a minute I saw a triangular group of what I thought was three stars in the northern sky, these were fairly bright compared to others around them. To my surprise, I noticed that all three stars were moving - together.

At first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me and looked away. I looked again and realized they were in fact moving and the three "stars" or lights maintained their exact distance and relationship to each other, as they moved. The shape was a very large thin triangle.

As far as its size, holding my arm straight out the object looked like it measured about and inch and a half long and a half-inch wide at its base. It moved slowly through the sky in a southeast direction, with the single light at the front and the two other lights toward the direction it was moving from. All three lights were white and looked just like bright stars - there was nothing visible between them or it may have just been black.

The triangle appeared to be very high up in the sky, above normal airplane elevation. I ran into the house and told my wife to come outside, she did. By this time, about 5 minutes after I first saw it, the triangle shape had moved toward the southeast and was nearly straight up in the sky.

My wife also saw it and after another 30 seconds or so we lost sight of the triangle, as if it faded or the lights went out. There was no sound and the shape moved fairly slow. Facing north the cities of Milwaukee, then Kenosha, then Pleasant Prairie were under the objects path.

Airplane like object stationary in the north sky emitting red, white, and green (or blue) light. I am at 43 degrees 59 minutes 2 seconds North, 89 degrees 33 minutes 18 seconds West. The last two nights we have observed an object about 10 degrees above the horizon and about 10 to 12 degrees East of true North stationary in the sky.

It is a small source of alternating light of red, white, and green (or blue). It is small enough to have no shape, but is brighter than any star in the sky. We have observed it for several hours each night over the last three nights.

It remains stationary the entire time that we observe it. I reported it to our local Sheriff's department, their officers have observed it and concluded that it is a planet whose light is being affected by the aurora. I pointed out, to them, that there are no planets in the far northern sky, but they were happy with their explination.

Triangular formation of what looked like stars in shape and bightness was looking at a constilation in center of the sky when 3 of the stars started moving to the southeast in an ununiform path until it disappeared into the light polution about a a third of the way up the eastern horizon. there was no bliking or change in the light intensity. during the movement there was no straying from the formation.

4 large bright white lights in the night sky some flashing and 2 coming on together/no sound IN a clear night sky-Large flashing white lights on opposite ends of Imaginary straight line,lighting at different times, not simotaniously-- with simailar size strong white lights that came on together occasionally ,centered between the two flashing lights- see diagram below. Could not see shape of craft, but the lights were very large-- like headlights on a car that is at close distance. My husband is a private pilot, and although it's almost impossible to judge height and distance in a nightsky, his "Guestimate" is it was out 3 miles and at 3000ft.

It was over Lake Michigan, so was not anything on the ground. The lights were probably 100 times larger than the stars in the sky. There was no sound.

It was very exciting to see due to the proximity and size of lights. reported to coastguard.

Triangle formation of 3 objects traveling east in earth orbit. I was looking at andromada through binnoculars and saw 3 objects traveling towards the east in a triangular formation. They appeared as orbital objects that looked like satelites.

The objects did not blink and did not appear to be aircraft. As they traveled toward the east they faded out about a third of the distance to the horizon. I could not see the objects with naked eyes and they were about 1/2 degree apart.

They crossed just north of andromada at 22:14 cdt. Brightness when I spoted them would have been about -5 to -6. I think they may have been brighter traveling from the west.

It was not one object as I could see stars in the middle of the formation. ((NUFORC Note: We suspect the formation of three U. S.

The object was in the sky, then this large gold disk was on the ground. I looked out my east window and saw a gold cigar shaped object tilted slightly in the northeast sky. I returned to the window approx.

10 min. later. There was a round object on the ground approx 2 blocks from the farmhouse along Hwy 10.

It was huge. As I watched it seemed to tilt backwards. It became elliptical in shape.

As I watched it appeared to have a dome with a slightly different shade of gold - slightly lighter with trapezoidial shapes on the dome. I kept watching and it was just like a 3 way light bulb. It became a lighter shade 2nd time lighter than dark.

I thought I saw a door, but I'm not certain. I stood trying to see it but it was all dark. I did not know where to report this until the program on tv last night.
