Unusual object flying to the east with no noise. I stepped out onto my deck and as usual looked into the sky. I was looking at the constilation Orion when some motion to the left caught my eye.
I looked and I saw a triangular object dip down to within a thousand feet, fly to the east for a few seconds, and then fly back up. The object was triangular, lt. bluish/grey luminescent in color and the ends were glowing red.
It was moving fast, but not unusually fast. What was strangest though, was the lack of any sound whatsoever. I watch planes fly all the time and i haven't seen anything move that fast with no noise.
((CORRECTION FROM WITNESS)) Sorry about my typo, the date was Saturday October 28, 2006. ((END CORRESPONDENCE)) ((COMMENT FROM READER)) http://www.nuforc.
org/webreports/053/S53156.html Onalaska is a small town in Washington {WA), not Wisconsin (WI)- another typo by the submitter. ((END COMMENT)) ((NUFORC Note: The reader is correct in stating that there is an Onalaska, Washington.
However, upon investigating the issue, we discovered that there also is an Onalaska in the State of Wisconsin. We express our gratitude to the reader, who chooses to remain anonymous to us, for his comment, and for his sharp reading!! PD)).

Metalic aerial object seen from vehicle to the west of Paoli, WI. I was traveling north through Paoli on Sunday and was looking at some of the cloud formations when I noticed a silver object hovering between a fading contrail and a cloud. There was unlimited visibility that day, and the blue of the sky contrasted the clouds and the object.
The silver object appeared spherical and a great deal of sunlight was reflecting off of it. The sun was to the left of the craft from my perspective. I glanced down to see if I could get my camera and pull over, but as I turned back it was gone.
I was traveling on a busy highway, so I am not sure if I was the only witness. Even stranger was that after discussing this with my family, my dad said he was driving through Paoli in the dark at night and saw a red meteorite that appeared to contact the ground. It landed right outside of Paoli, on the Friday before.
I will email an illustration of what I saw. ((NUFORC Note: Illustration received, which indicates clouds, blue sky, contrails, and the object, which the witness apparently observed. We suspect that there is no relationship between the daytime sighting of the sphere, and the fireball reported above.
PD)).

I saw a strange site tonight so I went to my computer to google to see if there was a "star shower" or something going on tonight. I came across the description below and it describes Exactally what I saw! Can you tell me if this could have been a falling star? It was such a noticable flash of color that I saw it from at least 15 feet back from my living room window. The room was also lit with two lamps and the light was still bright enough for me to notice it.
I watched it as I walked to the window and had a few seconds to describe what I was seeing to my mom (I was talking with her on the phone), so I was able to view it for longer then a normal falling star. It seemed so low. white/green ball with trailing tail and falling debris -slow moving I have been a MUFON Investigator, and am an Electrical Eng.
and Sailor of Lake Superior with 30 years experience. Ball of light at approximately 2,000ft. (under clouds).
It moved at a percieved rate of about 1 inch/sec. as I saw it. White ball turning greenish towards end.
It had a long thin trail, but the curious thing was that it dropped debris as it flew by. This debris was a constant curtain of burning material that decreased to the rear of the ball. There was no sound.
It appeared that the object was a low-mass object.it's speed did not seem right for the size etc. After a 5 sec.
period, it simply blinked out.and the falling material actually continued for less than a second after it blinked out ((NUFORC Note: We believe that the correct date for the event is October 04th, 2006. Report was submitted on October 04, but witness indicates a date of November 12, 2006.
We are confused, although the witness seems to us to be quite serious-minded, and the report seems genuine. We have written the witness, requesting a correction of the date. PD)).

Reaccuring semi-stationary, color alternation spheres This is the second time I've seen these craft. They seem to be stationed all around and so easily visible. They around.
I would imagine a gunmetal color with lights of some kind all around their middles.like a belt. The lights alternate colors, not quite blinking but moving in a rythm the way the signs at movie theaters and similar places do.
They alternate colors, similar to the way a projector does, like at the movie theater. They are somewhat stationary, moving usually only in one direction (up) and very slowly. They are visible on clear nights.
I have watched many airplanes fly around in the sky and also have watched many many stars. They are not either and that is what I am positive about. The difference between these and a twinkling star is drastic.
I have not seen any other accounts of these things, so I'm guessing they are fairly new. They're so obvious that there should be others. I know that I am not the only one that has seen them.
My significant other has seen them before too. Both times i have seen them there's one that is low and then two more adjacent to it higher up. The last time I watched them I could see more than three.
They are odd and intriguing. What purpose do they serve. they're not there for nothing.

Saw white light accelerate in an arc high in the sky in Beloit, WI In the fall of 2006, I was attending college in Beloit, Wisconsin. The campus sits beside the Rock River, and is unusual in that there are several Indian mounds on the campus greens, including a large "effigy" mound in the shape of a turtle. I was living in a dormitory, in a room on the north side of the building, with a single window facing north.
There was a large tree next to that window, so this would have to have been fairly far into the fall, for the tree to be reasonably free of leaves, but I don't remember it being very cold, so maybe very late September or October, and also dark, but I don't remember exactly what time it was. My bedhead faced this window, and I was lying on the bed on my stomach, again on the computer or doing some work. I don't think anything special prompted me to look out the window, and again the object I saw was a point of white light about the size of a star, appearing to be high in the sky.
The movement I saw it make was an arc, I'm not positive in which direction, but from the lower part of the visible sky out my window towards the upper part, accelerating considerably as it did, and then leaving my view. I went outside onto the sidewalk on the south side of the building, and remember it was cold, but not very cold, but couldn't see anything more unusual. I met another girl outside and asked if she'd seen anything, but she hadn't.
((NUFORC Note: Source of report indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

A friend and I were standing in his driveway messing around with a new fishing rod that he had bought. Out of the corner of my eye I saw an orange glowing ball moving above the field across the road. I took off running to the end of the drive way and up the road a bit in it's direction while calling to my friend to come look.
A similar incident occured like this years before and we thought it was happening all over again. An orange glowing & pulsing sphere was slowly and silently moving over the tree lines of his neighbors horse pasture & was approx 1/2 the size of the moon as it appears to the naked eye. It's speed was approx walking pace as it moved North over the tree line causing the neighbors dog and cows to go completely insane.
I have never heard so much noise from either of them in my life. After moving about 50 yards north, it changed direction now heading North West at the same speed and was about 80 ft off of the ground. We ran up the road after it watching to see what it would do and what direction it went.
Its movements were flawless and required no deceleration. After about another 1/2 minute we decided to run and get the car to follow it, but after that we were unable to locate it again. About 30 minutes later we were still driving all around looking for it and decided to go up to a large hill in our area to see if we could see anything.
On our way there we were coming to our turn when all of the sudden a huge orange ball can rocketing by us above our car heading North just as we were. It was out of side within a second. It again made no noise and was much larger than the last object we saw.
It "seemed" to be only a few hundred feet above the car or so. It's just a guess based upon the amount of detail we could see on the object as it went by. We could be off by a lot though since it happened so fast and we had no reference to base our judgement on.
So it's merely a "guess".

A silver sphere at travelling fast at a high altitude seen in rural Wisconsin skies. I was in my backyard lying in a hammock reading a book when I heard a hawk call, so I looked up and watched the hawk glide in the air above me. Just as the hawk dipped behind the treeline, I noticed a small spherical object traveling north/north-west accross the sky.
It seemed to be at a very high altitude, much higher than any of the whispy clouds in the sky that day and this thing was moving FAST. It made no sound, which I thought was odd, since I live out in the country and you can always hear planes flying overhead, and it left no trail. I'd say it was probably a metallic-silver in color, and may have had a haze around it, but it was hard to tell if it was emitting its own light or if it was reflecting the light from the sun.
I watched it travel all the way across the sky that was visible to me, until it went behind a cloud and the trees were in the way to see it any longer. Immediately after I lost sight if the object, a large jet flying at a very low altitude went past, traveling almost the same course, only going south/south-east. The oddest thing about the whole experience it that when I was 10, I saw an almost identical object in Wisconsin Dells, only about 8 miles away from this sighting.
That objest was much lower in the sky, but it was the same sphereical shape, and that one was definately a dark silver color, and it was hovering in one spot before completely disappearing. When I told my parents about that I was told it was probably a weather balloon or just my imagination.but now I can positively say that is NOT what I saw.

Triangular motion, flashing light alternating colors, staying in one basic location for more than one hour. As viewed south from city, mid-sky, flashing, rapidly moving within a small area, appeared to be triangular like motion, alternating colors appearing to be red, blue, white & green. Stayed in basic configuration and location for more than one hour.
Much brighter than adjacent stars. No continuation of movement to suggest was an airplane or helicopter. Has us stumped.

Three lights in a row moved over Madison, WI. There were three lights in a row: white, white, blue. I at first thought it was an airplane, but the object circled in a way that an airplane cannot.
The lights remained stable in relation to each other as the object moved. It was high enough that at times one or more of the lights were hidden by the clouds. It moved more like a kite than a plane or helicopter, yet the lights were large enough that I doubt a kite could have held them at that altitude.
The object moved in a straight line, curved, stood still, moved up and down. There was no sound. After about five minutes it disappeared behind the tree line, and I did not see it again.
I do not know how long it was in the sky before I first saw it. I am a forty-five year old white female, a teacher, college-educated. I have never seen a "UFO" before.
This took place at about 8:45 PM, it was dark and overcast. It took place in Middleton, WI, on the edge of Madison.

A very fast moving satellite look alike. It appeared to be a satellite at first glance, however it moved at 4-5 times the natural speed of a satellite. We caught it in the middle of the sky, and it moved toward the horizion.

Close triangle shaped lights and 5 fighter jets in central Wisconsin. My husband and I were driving westbound on highway 54 towards the village of Dexterville (central Wisconsin) in the cranberry bogs. It was dark (10:08 pm), when suddenly, just to the left, we saw a very bright set of multiple lights ahead of us.
They had suddenly appeared out of nowhere and were very large, guessing approximately 6 blocks above. The lights were shaped in a curved like boomerang or curved triangle shape. We could not see an object because of the darkness, but these lights very clearly were outlining something.
The lights seemed to glide slowly to the right, as if the object was moving very slowly. The distance was much, much lower than an airplane would fly, yet, still off the ground some distance. The lights were white, but my afterthought recollection remembers some hue of orange.
The lights appeared to suddenly begin to fade away as the group of lights in unison, tilted to the right, and amazingly, it was gone as fast as it appeared, it seemed to simply fade away. We kept looking, thinking that it had to still be there, but could not see a thing. After it disappeared, we realized there were several star-like lights, much smaller, moving very quickly, higher up in the sky in a tight circular pattern.
Very shortly, we came to a train crossing by a small dirt road on our left & pulled off the road and got out of our vehicle. We heard multiple jet noises and realized that these 5 star-like objects which were moving very fast, were fighter jets, as we watched them for several minutes. They kept circling above, just to the left, where we saw the object, at a much lower altitude.
My husband and I both agree that we have never seen anything like this before. The whole experience as short as it was, is very incredible. I called the Wood Co.
sherrifs department when we got home about 30 minutes later, to tell them about the episode. They said they had not received any other reports. I am interested to see if anyone else experienced what my husband and I saw.
Wow!.

Fluorescent-green parallel ceiling lights in line formation flying north of Dundee Wisconsin Pulsating lights two per object, green in color, having length and shape similar to a pair of fluorescent ceiling lights, (parallel to each other) running longitudinally in direction of travel. Object appeared solid when viewed through a pair of 10x50 binoculars during lapses between light pulsations. Shape could not be recognized.
A single object with pulsating green lights (as described above) was visible traveling approximately 025 degrees true, (compared against the position of Polaris with the chair of Cassiopeia in the North-east sky), followed in less than a minute by two more identical objects in rough trailing formation. The last two objects were visible for three minutes through binoculars over a hill with an estimated topographic crest of 200 feet above base terrain. Estimated speed of 24,000 feet per minute when the course was measured against a satellite image of the area.
In the next hour and a half solid green intense single points of lights were visible, having the color and intensity of an emerald laser or targeting laser of Russian design moving in an approximate arc from Southeast to Northeast, but these did not appear attached to a solid object as the first three objects and on occasion emitted an aura or laser-like luminescence that rotated or changed relative position to the point of light intensity. The speed of these lights appeared slower than the first three objects, but altitude, distance and speed were difficult to estimate. All appeared height above the high terrain to be approximately 5-6 inches when measured at arms length.
All solid lights appeared remarkably in the same airspace (course and altitude) over the duration of their individual observations. None of the objects or lights produced audible sound, were devoid of conventional aircraft running lights, and were radically different in appearance from aircraft, satellites, meteors and other normal night sky occurrences visible that evening. Air Temperature: Approximately 75 F.
Cieling and Visibility Unlimited. Lightning visible in the distant northern sky near midnight.

A moving light traveled in many directions, zig-zagging and stopping over the waters of Green Bay - high level of activity. Driving up to Fish Creek, I stopped to take a break. While speaking on the phone with my spouse, I witnessed a moving light over the waters of Green Bay.
It zig-zagged, sometimes very quickly, sometimes slowly, traveling in different directions. At times it would stop. It was a very clear night, and I was far away from any towns or homes.
This occurred near three large radio transmitting towers. It seemed to be surveying either the waters of Green Bay or the towers.

We saw six UFOs on that night. It was really freaky. It was freaky sleeping afterwards.
**NOTE: We didn't see all six UFOs at once.** At about 10:45, I sent my younger cousin downstairs to ask his mother if we could go outside to watch for UFOs. We've seen them before while looking up into the night sky, so why not look again? Anyway, she said no at first.
So we just sat on the bed, then the twins were acting up and the mother was angry. She was trying to get them to bed, since they were only six years old. I finally talked her into letting us go outside.
So we sat on the chairs outside at about 11:00 PM. We sat there looking up for a while. We were talking about dreams about aliens and UFOs and the such.
About the Roswell incident, about the government and them making deals with aliens. Suddenly, my older cousin sees a white, round light moving in the sky. I would've thought it was just a plane or something like that, but it wasn't making any noise.
Nor was it blinking. We just sat there looking at it move across the sky. Then all of a sudden, it disappeared! We didn't see anything after that, so we went over to another spot.
Then, one of the freakiest things happened; We saw 5 of the same lights moving. They were a bit dull, but were still visible. They were moving, shifting directions, passing each other up.
real freaky stuff. Then, it gets freakier, they all disappear. Not all at the same time, but they do.
We can't see anything after that, so we sit down and talk about aliens and UFOs and stuff. And then my older cousin said something that freaked the hell out of me: People who see UFOs have a much bigger chance of getting abducted than someone who haven't seen one.

Four spheres witnessed by two people.5-10K feet in the air. This event occurred during "Bastille Days" in Milwaukee, Wi.
, July 2006. We went to the festivle on Sat. The Blue Angles were there on both Sat and Sun.
The next day, Sunday, My girlfriend I were at her Mothers house with the dogs in the front yard. Side note, I was a stinger missile gunner in the Army and ever since then, I have a habit of looking in the sky/air. I was trained to look and observe and identify aircraft.
Since then, I tend to look upward often and try to challenge myself to identify aircraft whenever possible. This day however had a very high overcast. I would guess 5-10 thousand feet.
We were in her Mothers front yard playing with the dogs. I happened to look up and noticed a single sphere silhouetted against the backdrop of the overcast skyline. I quickly called for my girlfriend to come over and see it as well.
As we stood there watching the ONE sphere/round object silhouette against the background of the overcast sky, suddenly a second sphere/round object appeared, then an other sphere/round object, then finally a fourth. All were perfectly aligned and all where exact same size/symmetric. Within less than one minute they suddenly simply streaked off or more accurately, just disappeared.
This is what the looked like once all four came together: (although they almost perfectly blended in with the skyline/clouds). I’m simply trying to point out the symmetry and alignment of the way they appeared. Thank you, US Citizen.
