Dark fast-moving triangular object 1 object at low altitude (approx 1000'. No sound. Dark body (blue or black).

3 circles on underside slightly lighter than the body. 1 circle positioned at each corner. Object moved east to west covering the entire field of view within 4-5 seconds.

Ball of Light mirrors large plane over Moss Bluff I was on my back porch having a cigarette when I noticed a large sounding jet approaching from the west flying in a ENE direction. When I looked at it directly I noticed that there was a light that seemed to be "leading" it off of what would be the pilot's window. As the two approached, I could make out the red lights underneath the wings of what could have easily been a C-130 (there is a repair facility nearby).

These were the only lights I could see on the plane. If one were to stretch their arm out and hold their index finger and thumb about an inch apart, this is how large the plane appeared. As the two proceeded in a ENE direction to a point to where they directly north of me, the ball of light flew off at an incredible speed, out of Earth's atmosphere.

At that time the plane seemed to turn slightly south and proceeded in a ESE direction.

Unidentified object photographed over South Lousiana Bayou. I was taking some pictures of the sunsent as two fishing boats passed down the canal. the photos were taken seconds apart and the object only appears in one.

It was there and gone.

black triangular object without lights moving very slowly above treeline along I-12 I am a truck driver and had just made a pick-up off Hwy 190 in Hammond, LA. As I was driving on the onramp(exit 42) to get onto I-12 west something caught my eye just over the tree tops alongside of the interstate approx. 1/8 of a mile away.

The object was a black triangular(rounded not pointed) object without any lights. The object appeared to be moving east at a very slow speed or perhaps even hovering about 150/200ft high. The treeline on the west bound side of I-12 where the object was is about 150/200ft away from the interstate.

When I was at the closest point to the object I thought I was looking at a stealth fighter that had the capability to hover. There was no sound and no movement in the tree tops. I-12 exit 42 is Airport Rd.

The airport is approx. 5 miles from the interstate. It is a small airport that has an Air National Guard unit there so I thought it may have been some type of military craft.

The incident lasted for 8-12 seconds.

Cross Shaped UFO with 30 lights on each of the 4 sides and 1 in the middle. I was standing outside of me dads van at 8:00 pm wating to go to the movies. Suddenly we saw a white light flash on the top of the van.

I looked up to see if it was just an helecoptor lookin for somebody.It was'nt it was a CROSS Shaped Figure with about 30 lights on each of the 4 sides.And exactly in the middle there was a green light.

I was so scared. then I saw the army chasing after it in choppers but they could not catch it. NO NOT BECAUSE IT WAS FAST IT WENT ONLY ABOUT 3 MILES AN HOUR.

NOT BECAUSE IT WAS SMALL AND HARD TO FIND, IT WAS AS WIDE AS I COULD SEE FROM LEFT TO RIGHT IN THE SKY. THEY COULD NOT CATCH IT BECAUSE IT WAS OUT OF SPACE ON TOP OF THE EARTH.it was so big and bright with lights.

It was possible to see in earth. it lasted about 2 minutes. but suddenly it looked like clouds suddenly came under it and made it dissaper.

2 different objects seen in Louisiana I actually saw 2 separate objects this night. They were actually at 2 different times. Also I need to point out that I live close to an air force base.

There are times when I've seen obvious unknown military planes and one would suspect these as being "UFOs". As we all know, not everything seen can be said to be from another planet. The first object i saw was in the middle of a large amount of air traffic.

I was in the backyard taking my dog out and happened to noticed how much air traffic was flying over. There are several distinctive paths where the airlines fly and over the years I've come to know where in they sky they usually are. There was plane after plane.

Probably about 5 minutes apart in sightings. All of a sudden there was this one object that came across the sky in a totally odd flight path. It had lighting like what you see when several windows of a commercial plane is glowing.

There was probably 8 double windows down the side. It sort of had a banana shape to it actually. There were no other lights.

No red blinking light underneath. No landing geat lights either. Just these lights.

It seemed to hold some reflection from the ground as there was a slight glow. Not a glow as if it were from the object, but just reflected up from the ground. It didn't really have a feel that it was flying straight either.

I got a sense of a "tumbling" while watching it. It went over in an "S" shape too. It came from the north flying southwest, then southeast, then back southwest.

It was wide curves and not sudden direction changes. I couldn't say there was no sound either as there was still many other planes flying over. The second object came a few hours later.

I decided to go back out to see if I could see something else. Just something you do I guess when you see an object like that. Sort of a hope that you see it again I guess.

As I was looking up I noticed a "star" out of place straight over head. I know the constellations pretty well so I knew this light shouldn't be there. About that time I noticed it was actually moving.

It was really slow. Iwas traveling from the west heading East. It's the path that I generally see satellites when they are illuminated by the sun.

I had thought that's what this was too, but it was moving so slow I felt that was worth ruling out. It kept travling the same path and became dimmer and dimmer as it move toward the Earth's shadow. It was just like a satellite in everyway, just extremely slow.

The complete time of seeing this object would be around 12 - 15 minutes. Both of these object could easily have other explainations rather than "UFO". They are UFOs though in the sense that I had no clue what they were.

I don't think any other regular average person could have said either. But I thought this was worth reporting. I would have sent info in sooner but I had teken pictures of the first object and was trying to get something to show up.

I used a digital camera and had the settings wrong. All I got was a blurry dim light in one photo and nothing in the others. I tried to increase the brightness and played with the contrast but was unable to get a shape.

There wasn't anything worth sending with this report.

Spherical, moving, indentation in center, no witnesses at time (though it did show up on camera), and more than one. no one reported seeing objects at time. Largest one is apparently moving, sperical and on it's side with an indentation in it's center.

Around 6 images of balls of light are in the photo, only one could be identified in shape. None but the balls of light seen by the oilrig were seen more than once. ((NUFORC Note: Possible hoax.

Fast moving object appears and disappears in seconds. I was driving to work on Highway 90 east and saw what appeared to be a shooting star way above the horizon in the distance. The "star" came out of nowhere stopped and took off and disappeared into thin air.

All I could really tell was that it was a bunch of white lights. I thought it was a plane that was going to crash but it disappeared. I am certain that other motorists on the highway saw this occur I just hope someone other than me reports it.

I saw a bright, white object flying at a VERY high rate of speed and then suddenly disappear. I work as an Armed Security Guard in Pearl River, LA. My background is all security-related including 4 Yrs in the US Army as a Military Policeman during which time I've also seen combat.

Suffice it to say I've seen alotta things but last night's experience was definately something new. Last night (09/20/06) I was at the Pearl River Rest Area on Interstate 59 (Southbound) when I witnessed a strange occurrance. I was sitting in my car which was parked facing East.

I had my door open for fresh air and was looking to my left (Northward) with a clear view of the sky. I noticed an airplane flying northward and I remember thinking it must've recently taken off from New Orleans Airport as I saw its lights flashing red and white as most do. I was looking at the sky not far above the treeline when I saw it, a BRIGHT white object comming from my left (West) and heading to my right (East) at a VERY high rate of speed.

The best way to descibe the object is, picture a block of round cheese (uncut) and lay it on its side. It was flat across the top and the bottom but curved on the sides. As I said it was EXTREMELY bright and pure white, there were no other colors.

What was fascinating about the color was that the white seemed "clear" in that as bright as it was, it wasn't blinding at all. I could clearly define the shape of the object immediately. I watched it as it travelled at a VERY high rate of speed and just as suddenly as it appeared it vanished.

The amazing thing about its disappearance is that it did exactly that. It didnt suddenly take off to outer space, or drop behind a treeline. Where the object disappeared there IS no treeline, it simply vanished like it flew behind a curtain.

Also of note, the object was travelling parallel to the ground, neither gaining or losing altitude. I have no guess (and guessing is all it would be) as to the rate of speed it was travelling, all I can say is it covered miles in a matter of seconds. The size would be approximate to the 1/2 moon as it appears in the night sky, it was large.

Object displays remarkable variations in speed high in the night skies over Louisiana On the night of Aug 31, 2006 at approximately 20:40hrs I was outside sitting on the steps of my home waiting on my son to return from the neighbors. While attempting to make a phone call I began staring at the moon (it was waxing at a half crescent). I cancelled the call and scrolled the sky until I was at about an 80 degree angle just north of the moon.

A brighter than usual star (maybe -1 mag.) caught my attention. It was moving east to west at a fairly high rate of speed.

It was circular in shape and white in color. There was no trail what so ever. I assumed it was a satellite and decided to watch it until it disappeared from the horizon.

After several seconds I was astonished. The object slowed and than at that instant, it made a 90 degree direction change and accelerated to an astonishing speed. It was out of sight in a second or fraction of.

As for my background, I have a BS in biology and chemistry and currently work as an analytical chemist for a local company. I have NEVER experienced any "sightings" before and though I support MUFON (probably the only Louisiana member) I am a scientist and I try to take an unbiased look at everything. In the case of this sighting, scientifically, it could have possibly been a meteor being "deflected" in the atmosphere but there was NO BURN TRAIL and the way it varied its speed was just remarkable.

Mother witnesses first UFO flying directly over house -- with NO SOUND During the night of July 30, 2006 -- about 8:55 PM CDT -- my mother went outside to sit on the backsteps and smoke a cigarette. The night was very clear -- having very few light clouds in the sky. I can't remember the moon, so it must not have been very visible at that time.

I was sitting in the house, watching a television program while perusing through old newspapers. Now, Mom is quite a skeptic in UFOs, so it was rather surprising for her to come inside and ask me if I could identify what planet was shining up in the northwest. I wasn't up-to-date on what celestial events were happening that night, so I just went to look and see what she was questioning.

When I went onto the back porch, I could immmediately see a very bright white light in the northwest corner of the sky -- about 40-45 degree angle from the horizon. Mom told me she had been watching this light for quite a few minutes before coming to get me, so her interest was sparked. As I watched the light I noticed it was slowly moving toward us.

Mom was hesitant about my saying it was moving, since she had watched it for so long. However she did notice the movement after a few seconds. The light headed straight in our direction (southeast from it's original point) at a rather steady pace -- somewhat the same as a plane coming into landing.

(We live just a few miles from Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, so we do know what planes look like and recognize landing lights or directional/warning lights.) There were no blinking lights alongside the one bright light, so we were baffled. As the light came nearer to the house -- still traveling in a southeast direction -- we noticed the strangest thing of all -- there was no sound coming from the object.

NO SOUND! And the object was coming just over the house. As it passed directly over our house, I noticed something rather startling -- two smaller lights suddenly appeared behind the bright light. This aspect gave the shape of the object a triangular appearance.

I was stunned! Mom was rather excited, since she had never witnessed anything like this before -- especially taken by the fact of no sound coming from the object. The object passed over the edge of the house's roofing, so I ran through the house to the front door -- about five seconds timing. When I got out the front door to look where the object was going, it had disappeared.

The view from the front road to the night sky is rather wide, so I was surprised not to be able to see the object anymore. A couple of days later, we were mentioning this to my younger sister, who had worked at the Port of Greater Baton Rouge at that time. She was excited, because a co-worker (both security guards) had told her of a very strange light which had played around the port for a few minutes.

The original witness had thought it was a helicopter -- except for the fact there was no sound coming from the object. I had asked for my sister to have this witness write her story down, but the witness was too frightened to do so. This is why I am reporting this sighting now -- on August 21, 2006.

It slowley flew over the house stoped about25 or 30 yards past the back yard.it was a boomer rang shaped object it made no sound and was completly lit up with lites on the bottem.it turnd completly side ways in an instent rite to its left an set ther for about 30 minites at 9 or 10 feet off the ground.

Fighter jets chased 3 lights above my house. I heard fighter jets above my house. When i went investigate i noticed that a fighter jet was chasing a red light (which was 1/4 the size of the lights on the jet) as close as 2 plane lengths behind.

I showed my wife and as we looked the red light it seperated into 2 seperate lights and went seperate directions. At that time the fighter continued on chase one of the lights. The light was outrunning the jet.

We then saw the third light which seemed to change from red to white. All this is taken place at roughly 400-600 feet. I could hear and see the fighter jet plainly but no noise at all from these lights nor did i ever see an object just these very tiny lights.

At the beginning of this there were several jets above my house a would say roughly 5 of them they all scrambled. There have never been jets above my house before.

WHILE I WAS TAKING A WALK I SAW TWO TINY DOTS IN THE SKY. Well I left my house. I was walking to TACO BELL.

It was on 04/29/2006 on a Saturday evening at 7:00 P.M. Something in the sky caught my eye.

I saw 2 little dots in the sky. I don't know what it was. It wasn't a plane or star I saw in the sky.

I don't know rather it was a weather balloon. But there was a plane in the area. But there were two tiny dots in the sky about anywhere from 5.

000 to 20.000 feet. But the two little dots I saw in the sky were moving.

I was looking to the northwest and saw these little dots in the sky then they went under a cloud and I lost sight of them. I kept looking and couldn't see them no more. I'm not sure what I was seeing but two tiny little dots in the sky.

Huge Black Triangle and proof that something happened to me last night. I always wake up from 3-4am every morning, this morning I woke up at exactly 7am. I immediatly sat up in my bed and the first thing I recalled was a giant pure gun metal black triangle ship leaving at a slow speed to the north, it went behind a cloud then became visible again then disappeared into the clouds.

I have a relaxation cd that I listen to(1 hr. long) when I go to bed, it's waves going out and crashing into a peer. I sat up in bed, and my headphones were wrapped around my lamp(I always turn the cd off when it finishes) and the volume was all the way up( I listen to it a below 1/2 the volume to relax.

I turned the radio off and went into my kitchen and was so thursty it was like I had not drank for a long time, I gulped down a quart of orange juice. While in my kitchen I noticed dry grass all over the floor, I suffer from OCD and my home is always spotless; I walked around and went into my bedroom and looked in the bed and where my feet lay all the way up to around where my waist would be was dry grass.This morning I feel totally drained and tired, like I have been up all night and didn't sleep at all.

I don't think this was just a dream, there are too many things not right all over the house, that seems to me I was outside during the night and something happened that I can't totally recall, all that is in my memory is the huge triangle that I saw and disappeared in the clouds. From my memory there were no lights or sounds, I recall 2 long diamond shaped indentions on the bottom, and then 3 or 4 lines across and at the points of the triangle were circles. What I remember about the triangle is very clear, it was very low and I saw the bottom very clearly.

I know I'm not crazy and the evidence around my house proves to me something happened last night, but I can only recall seeing the triangle leaving.

seen lights that looked like stars playing This is the second sighting my wife has seen from our balcony. We live in a apartment and she doesn't smoke inside it so, she spends allot of time on the balcony. About 10:55 pm 04/09/06 her and her sister were smoking and looking at the stars.

My wife seen what she said looked like to stars moving across the sky one in front of the other moving very fast. The one in the front then looped behind the other one. After that it looped back in front and then they dissapared.

My wife said it looked like to stars were playing. It lasted only about 5 seconds and my wife was tring to get her sister to see it, but the sighting didn't last long enough for my wife to tell her sister where to look in the night sky.

I saw a bright circle of white light in the shape of a disk, that hovered about 5 minutes and then it was gone. I saw a circle of light while swinging in my backyard. I took a picture of it with my camera phone.

I have not told anyone, afraid of being labelled a nut. about 40 lights moving in a southward position, some moved in a 90 degree angle. One was a triangular shape.

It was cloudy, but in a break in the clouds gave us vision to the lights. my wife and I and another couple saw it. I am a history buff, and I do not know of any craft that can turn like they did.

Extremely bright light stationary in the west. Would dim then brighten. We were standing at front door watching it.

Looked almost like a cell tower light but much brighter. Could see other air craft flying in near vicinity of this but not chasing or approaching it. I shut the door for a few minutes and reopened it and it was gone and a few minutes later it reappeared.

It finally disappeared, didn’t fly away where you could follow it, just disappeared.
