A UFO was sighted by two people in St. George on 12/26/06 While driving down Bluff Street I noticed a a craft with the appearance of a fireball with a tail traveling towards the local airport. Upon driving to the airport to find if the craft landed or was a plane on fire nothing was in sight.

9:20 PM ish Sandy UT, noiseless craft blowing by - HELP - What the HELL? I saw a triangular presentation of one light (orangish) and three trailing off behind it in either direction (triangular) but no connecting back line (to make it triangular). I had been watching a couple of live concerts on the web - I also have a fairly serious issue with "floaters" in my eyes. nonetheless I saw this arrow of lights - completely noiseless (which is the only think making me curious - being that I am so close to the Salt Lake City Airport and Hill Air Base and I suppose the wild air base in Southwest Idaho and northeast Utah and some in Southern Utah etc.

Southern Nevada. Anyway I have seen strange appearances of helicoptors but never anything like this. It was noiseless.

That is all I have to say - it was noiseless and flyng low with very very low lights and relatively quickly. Tell me what it was and I will buy you a brand new dinner. thanks folks.

Now that I think about it there was a strange noise - but there are train tracks nearby. It sounded like a faint whisper - as if one wasn't picking up the correct radio station. but very very faint.

This object was quite prominent - like a triangle in the sky for actually (contrary to what I initially reported) roughly 90 degrees offset on the sky. My apt. is backed in by a large concret wall.

But the object was in plain view from over the roogtops of the underlying apts. to the rooftops of the apts. beyong my place.

It moved swiftly but seemingly slowly - I believe as a result of the non-sound and it distance from me. Again it seemed actually fairly close - like I told the director on the phone - the size of a regular ish 727 - but now it seemed larger and further away. Why didn't it make sound? Was I hallucinating off of a vodka Diet Coke? What the hell? ((END)) ((ADDENDUM #2)) One more thing - Orion was directly in the background of the sight.

I was actually atempting to see Orion and this thing interupted my observation. Thanks very much ((name deleted)) ((ADDENDUM #3)) I am sorry to write so many e-mails but I think I have a few more questions to answer. The object was slightly larger than a full moon.

The lights were very faint and flew almost directly through the middle of what I think was Orion. This is a notoriously smoggy area - but what I saw was really different from what I've seen in the last twelve years of amueterish study of the sky. Thanks again.

Dark, teardrop shape without light, moving faster than normal planes, made no noise We were sitting in the hot tub at 23:30. I said "there's a shooting star", then said "that's not a star, look". We estimate that the object was over the city of Murray or Midvale which is directly east of us by about 5 miles.

There were no obvious lights on the object but it appeared quite large. It was shaped similar to a teardrop, my wife compared it to a someone attached to a parachute. The object moved very quickly to the north, much faster than the airlines that fly in patterns over our home daily.

It appeared much lower than normal flights of planes. The shape was a gray or dark outline without obvious lighting. It moved north, then west, then was lost from our sight.

The object made no noise.

Faint, fast moving triangular object with three red lights at each corner over Lehi, Utah I was outside in front of my house tonight, looking up at the stars and I noticed a very, very faint triangular object with 3 very faint, soft, red lights at each corner of this "triangle." It was moving silently from the South East right over my house to the North West of my position toward the southern corner of Salt Lake City. I had my wife come and look (who was outside with me), but she could not see it.

It was very faint, but very there. I am still jazzed. This is the first "UFO" I have ever seen.

There was no way this was a conventional aircraft it was high and moving fast. No noise.very faint, very fast flying right over the Southern approach pattern of incoming commercial jets bound for Salt Lake International.

Bright light vanishes in a puff of smoke My bother-in-law and myself were talking outside late afternoon. I looked up over my head in the sky and noticed a bright light. I pointed it out to my brother-in-law.

It wasn't easy to find because it was very small. Smaller than a planet when you can see it in daylight. The light looked as if it were reflected light from the sun on the object.

I could not tell the shape of the object but soon the reflected light turned about 90 deg and could not see the light no more. I could tell that there was an object but it was too far away to discern it's shape or color. All of a sudden, there seemed to be a billow of smoke.

Best described when a vehicle punches the gas and the exhaust billows from the tailpipe. Very similiar to that. Then, it appeared as if the object moved vertically from it's stationary spot.

and disappeared into thin air. This all occured in the clear blue sky and no clouds around. There was a jet flying near by but unrelated to this object (different elevation and stayed on vector).

This object did not behave the normal aircraft I have seen. Kinda cool! Never seen a UFO before.

Salt Lake City 3 Saucers Of Yellow Blue White Light At approx. 12:47 am I was awoken by my Jack Russel Terrier companion, ((name deleted)). I noticed his barking was not usual for this hour and I feared there was an intruder of my household.

I went to investigate the commotion to make sure there was no intruder. After noting that the house was safe, I decided to take my dog out on a walk to help calm him down. It was just only after walking 500 yards from my house until my dog started to growl toward the sky in a northeastern direction.

It was then that I noticed three white lights flashing brightly in the sky. After my eyes adjusted to the light I realized that I had not seen anything like this before. My dog continued to bark until the three saucers began to display amazing bright light emissions in multiple colors (yellow, blue, white).

The objects continued to hover 300 feet in the air for approx. 4 minutes. A bright white flash occured next and the objects zoomed back into the night sky, leaving a bright white trail behind them for only 3 seconds.

I stood in awe as the objects disappeared back into the midnight sky and my dog quickly became calm again. My location is 8 miles southwest of the junction of highway 80 and interstate 40. Please let me know if anyone else saw this phenomenon.

They flew in together and then took their spots. I saw a large diamond shaped fly in, underneath it had a turtle shape and texture to it. Then there were some oval ones behind it.

The larger flew out of sight and the smaller ones all spread out and they are still, everynight. Flashing white, blue and red. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the event is approximate.

Strange objects in the night sky over Midvale (Salt Lake City), Utah August 17th, 2006 -- a few minutes after 22:00 MST This was at night, no moon, slightly hazy but the stars could be seen pretty well. I was sitting outside of my house in Midvale (Salt Lake City) Utah having a cigarette. After casually gazing at the southern sky for a few minutes I started noticing objects appearing from the east.

My first impression was that it was a flock of white birds, illuminated by the city lights, flying to the west. But then they formed into a perfect triangle, changed course slightly, and traveled west then disappeared into the sky. Frankly, I thought I was just seeing things or they were in fact a flock of birds.

Another wave of these white objects then appeared, formed into 3 triangles, then headed to the west. At this point, I was convinced I was seeing UFOs. I am 30 years old and have never dreamed that I would witness something so strange in the night sky.

Then I started seeing other types of objects. They were very big objects that looked liked grey clouds, but they all had sharp edges and were with the same exact shape, these flew side by side and headed of towards the western sky. They started coming wave after wave, mostly the white objects that were sometimes accompanied by the much larger grey objects.

At this point I was getting quite scared and simply could not believe what I was seeing. Then I saw a group of red orbs that formed into a cluster ball, this was surrounded by some kind of light that resembled a corona or aura. This headed in a slightly different direction but still slowly to the west.

When it traveled, it passed behind my neighbors house, then reappeared on the other side then faded after it traveled for a bit. I was already stunned by witnessing the previous objects, but this one just blew me away. After that happened there was nothing in the sky for a few minutes, then the waves of the white and grey objects passed close overhead.

This went stop and go and the entire experience lasted around 40 minutes. During the time I was on the phone with my girlfriend and brother describing what I was seeing and was astounded to say the least. I have always been a skeptic.

I don't believe in ghosts, voodoo, psychics and such things. I have always had doubts about UFOs, but I always believed they could be possible. I never thought that in my life I would see something like this and hopefully I will always remember.

This could not have been anything man made. The way the objects were moving in the sky almost looked like they were alive. They were completely silent as they grouped up in formation and flew towards the west.

It is hard to say how far the objects were considering that I have no idea what they were. All of the objects were kind of faint, but you could still make them out because of their movement. One of the white object clusters blinked several times then disappeared.

I sincerely hope somebody confirms this event, it was awesome and I would like to compare sightings. I called FOX news to see if anyone else reported, but they said no. I made this call at 23:15 MST.

1/2mi. long orange /white glowwing craft nw of topaz mt. utah thomas mt.

s juab co. utah, aprox. 5 mi.

s nw topaz mt.on the top of mt. range about 100 ft.

above was a large glowing orange w/white blotches, oval craft about 1 mile west of my position it was aprox. 1/2 mile long &200 yds tall it just hovered over mt &when it disappeared it just faded out,like using a dimmer switch. until it was all dark&was gone that took about 3-5 secs.

there was no sound nor movement,the white blotches did move around on the craft fade here ,reappear there but that was only moves I observered. the next morning I had two f-15's do a deck 50'off the ground fly-by &check out my camp &truck .so go figure? It moved slowly, was very very high, and reflected a lot of light (or produced light). It was very very high, reflected light like a mirror, we could see it with the naked eye. It moved slowly to the north and faded out of sight over a period of about ten minutes.

When we first saw it, it was directly over head. I thought maybe it was the ISS but I checked NASA's website and the ISS was no where near where we were looking.

Teardrop craft hovered in sky and then darted into a cloud and didn't come out. Traveling north on I-15, in Utah. Teardrop shaped object appeared to left of freeway, and appeared to have a very shiny, chromelike surface.

I watched it, trying to figure out what it was as it hovered there in the sky. Then, after staring at it for about 30 seconds, it darted into a nearby cloud, extrememly fast from a hovering position. I watched the cloud intently for about 30 minutes, wishing it would come out, and it did not.

I was not afraid, which surprised me, and found myself just staring and wishing it would come out so I could see it again. It almost felt like it knew I was watching, and then darted in to a cloud to hide. (Wierd, I know.

black slow moving hat-shaped UFO Very slow moving object flown from West toward East on very high elevation. The object was black and had shape of a hat with thick bottom. It has flown from west part of valley to the level of 500 East 3900 South about 15-20 minutes.

The flight was very strait and it was not any sounds or treks- immersions. We have made several pictures of it with x12 zoom.

The objects were small bright individual lights in the sky. 6 craft were spread across the sky in a horizontal line. Two were red in color the other four were shiny.

The crafts changed positions on several occations, zig-zag formation and then three dissapeared and about ten minutes later the rest dissapeared.

White dot of light that changed directions a few time . Setting on my front porch at or about 5:30 AM looking at the morning sky,when I seen a flash of light that came from the Big Dipper that was in the N.W.

sky . It looked to be a white light that was about the size of a small pin hole . It was moving S.

E.at a fast speed and then turned S.W.

for a few seconds and then it turned to the N.W. I followed it until it was out of sight .

I then looked back at the Big Dipper and spotted another little light that was going in a broken circle and then disappeared in about the same spot the first light was seen at .

Big, black, diamond shaped object seen in the distance from Filmore, Utah As we were driving north on I-15 past Filmore, I was sitting in the back seat of our car and I noticed a distant, big, black thing that seemed as if it was flying at around the speed we were traveling, because it constantly stayed in one spot of my view. I observed it for a moment but I couldn't figure out what it was, so I told my mom to take a look at it. She said that she could see it too.

It was to the west of 1-15 and since it was about 8:45 pm, the sky was getting darker and darker, but there was still faint light so we could see the shadow of it in the sky. I would say it was about 100-200 feet of the ground and it flew at a constant speed until it seemed to disappear among the background of the mountains, but after a few minutes it reappeared again. I only saw one of them, and it was just big and black, and it was a diamond-shaped object.

It emitted no lights whatsoever.

details above triangular object with white lights on each side and what looked like an after burner glow in the rear moving very fast going over my house in Provo Utah. It was going toward the mountain and then quickly made a sharp turn upward and all the lights went out completely. There was no sound with this object.

At first I thought it might be a helicopter, but it was moving too fast and there was no sound. I live near an air force base and suspected that they were testing some new aircraft. ??? I couldn't track the shape after the lights went out.

It is as if it just disappeared. I called my friend who is a private pilot and asked him to call the Provo airport tower to see if they tracked this flying object. They did not have knowledge of this unexplained aircraft.

I have never seen anything like this ever before. The speed and the ability to make a verticle climb so quickley and then the lights cut out at the same time hiding its presence.
