I was driving home from work and I saw 3 orange lights coming from the south west moving slowly, I stopped the car next to a food store to get a better look. When I got out I saw two orange red spears (sic. spheres) next too each other, with a bigger spear behind.

One of the spears went completely sideways, then back went back. By this time, crafts got over my head, right over my head, the lights shrunk, and the two crafts disappear. The third craft comes to the same spot and it disappears also but this time I see a black shadow of of the craft move off, then I lost sight off it.

Then I look back too the southwest and in the same formation three more craft are coming. They came the same flight plan and formation, and lights went out at the same spot. Two police saw also which came to see what was doing and saw the last craft disappear all lasting 8 minutes.

Seven golden orbs clmbing east from point of the mountain that disappeared into the clouds. A pair of golden orbs rose in formation from the point of the mountain area and ascended going east into a cloud base. This was followed by 5 additional golden orbs that moved east and ascended into the cloud bases.

None of these objects had any standard navigation colored lights.

Odd yellow light came closer and appeared to have a non-plane type movement, pulsed or had lights rotating around it. I was driving 10 miles west of Cedar City, UT at 7:05 in the evening. Headed west and saw peculiar light in the SW sky.

Watched it, because it didn't look like a plane or planet. Developed a tail and thought it was a meteor. But it didn't burn out, it kept going and getting closer.

As it became closer (heading towards east s/e) the tail was lights that revolved around the object or maybe the object seemed to "pulse". The lights were multicolored and the object would disappear for periods. 5-10 seconds at a time.

Appeared to be beneath clouds, as I originally thought it might be going behind clouds. Pulled over and shut off truck to get better look. After disappearing and then reappearing 3-4 times it disappeared for good.

It was difficult to follow optically for some reason. Like it was shifting or out of focus. After I got home I could see no sign of it but another plane was moving in the same direction.

Flashing/ Darting light in the sky over an hour Last night 12/3/2015, around 10:45 ish, my husband and I were going to bed. we noticed a light, brighter than a star. It was far away and it appeared to be east, below the little dipper.

It was flashing and sputtering around and at times would dart across the sky and then back again. Sometimes the light would get brighter then dim again and seemed to go a slight green color and an orange color. At one point it actually disappeared and then came back.

I called my brother who lived south of me to see if he could see it as well. He said he could but it was further South of him. WE didn’t know where our binoculars were so I got my phone out to see if I could zoom in on it to see if I could see it better.

With the naked eye, through my phone, it appeared to be circular (like 6 small circles connected with each circle lit up). The phone only captured the light in the distance darting around. We watched it for about an hour and I decided to go bed as it late.

We saw 10 orbs appearing to be on fire -glowing orange flames. They appeared from out of nowhere in the sky and reach approximately 1,000 ft. They travel in an eastward pattern for about 5 - 10 minutes then disappear.

They don't appear to be floating because they sometimes change directions a bit as they go. We saw the same objects about 4 years ago over Sandy, Utah.

6+ lights in very large formation descend into the Salt Lake City Valley. From the west benches, we saw 6 lights high above the Salt Lake Valley in a large formation, moving north from at least 5400 S. They were all slowly descending, and when we made it home, we were able to watch the last two land into the city lights and disappear.

One near the Salt Lake International Airport and the other in South Salt Lake. Were they helicopters? Drones? I can't find any information about them.

Expanding triangle-shaped puff seen early morning Early morning, November 24th, 2015, after taking pictures of the moon setting over Farmington Bay in Utah, I was walking back to my car when I noticed a very faint, what looked like a cloud puff in the sky. It was odd because there were no other clouds in that part of the sky. This was just a lone circle cloud, very faint, sitting above the mountains to the east of me.

So faint that it would not have been noticeable to someone unless they were doing some observing of the sky that morning. When I first noticed it I'm guessing it was approximately 30 degrees from horizon. Because it was so faint to see I wasn't able to take video of it.

Instead, I used my Nikon D90 to shoot long exposures at high ISO. I used the built-in sequencer to shoot 9 shots in a row for each sequence and I adjusted the exposure time somewhat between sequences. Because I was finished shooting the moonset and was walking a few miles to get back to my car I wasn't very interested in exploring this very faint puff in the sky.

But I decided to shoot a few shots and then look more closely at them when I got home. So, after the first 20 or so shots I started walking back to the car again. I walked for another 13 minutes before I paused to review the picture that I took on the screen on my camera.

When I zoomed into my shots I noticed the three distinct puffs and then realized that this was something unusual. https://flic.kr/s/aHsmafaWoN I then set up to shoot as many shots as I could before the sun came up.

This is why the latter shots look like the object has scattered more until the sun came up and washed it out completely. You'll notice that the object seems to move at about the same speed as the stars around it which suggests that it must be a considerable distance from the earth. I have no idea what this thing was.

I admit, it doesn't look very much like a flying object but more like some kind of space weather anomaly. Not sure what to make of it.

Orange orb seen from plane flying over northern Utah, Idaho or Oregon Nov. 21, 2015 ORANGE BALL OR ORB On Saturday evening, October 21st, 2015, I was flying from Albuquerque to Seattle. We left Albuquerque at 4.

35 Mountain time, arriving in Seattle at 6.45 Pacific time. Somewhere north of Salt Lake City, looking at the flight path it could have been northern Utah, Idaho or Oregon – I really am not that familiar with the area, I looked out of the window on the left side of the plane, looking to the west.

We were flying, I think, at 36,000 feet. The mountains were some way below us. It was dark by that time, but I could see towns and communities lit up and I think there was some light from the moon.

Generally the sky was clear. I suddenly noticed a large, orange ball approaching from the north or north-west, below the plane, travelling very fast to the south or south-east. It was very steady – glowing with light – lit from within – a bit like a huge ball of fuzzy orange felt! It soon went behind the engine of the plane – I was sitting near the front.

I can’t begin to assess how big it was – it was far below our plane – I had the impression it was very big. Many of the pictures I have seen on the Internet show the exact colour – a true orange – and shape and look. I remember there were some mountains overshadowing a small town.

The object was travelling below the tip of the mountains, around the tree line. The trajectory was unwavering – no other lights to indicate it was a plane or helicopter. It seemed to me to be travelling way too fast to be a plane.

I don’t think I have any more to add. I didn’t have anyone beside me to verify and it all happened so quickly. I wonder if you have any more reports from passengers on the plane.

Being my first trip to and from Albuquerque to visit my daughter, I was very interested in looking out of the window all the way.

I saw a white dot floating in the sky, I came closer I saw a saucer shaped craft flying by with golden or yellow lights and windows On November 20th, 2015 at 10:20 PM, I was heading home from work on the road in Provo past Arby's with the road that curves and goes to the light, when to the south I saw a white dot moving slowly in the sky. I wondered if it was a U.F.

O or a helicopter but the lights did not blink like a helicopter normally would. As I drove to it, I had to head east to find somewhere to park with the object appearing and reappearing as the buildings and trees were in front of it at times out of my view. It appeared to be flying ether north or north west.

As I slowed and came closer to it and I saw this weirdly shaped saucer flying slowly by. The lighting was golden light or lighting that a yellow light bulb would look like. There were square windows on it going around the craft and it appeared to have these lander things on the side of it.

It went behind another building or tree as I was driving and then I finally parked and saw the white dot of it again flying and it flew in back of a tree. I drove to a parking lot to try and find it again, but it was gone from my view.

18, 2015, I was taking some timed photos. The attached photo was taken on that knight. I have no idea what is on the photo, that’s why I am sending this photo to you.

My son called excitedly from the front porch last night just after dark, while he let the dogs out. He said, Mom you have to see this!!! I ran out barefooted in the cold, and saw a slow moving orange light. We could not see any sign of the craft that the light was emanating from.

It was travelling east to west fairly slowly. It did not blink, just glowed orange. It moved about the same speed as a satellite, but it appeared closer than a satellite would normally be seen.

Size was similar to holding up a nickel at arms length. It moved east to west for about 2 minutes, then curved sharply to head south. I ran in to get the camera, and of course by the time I got back it had disappeared.

We could not hear an engine or any kind of noise that might be associated with a flying craft of some sort. There was a little traffic noise, so it’s possible we might have missed it. Made for an exciting evening ( almost anything would liven up Kanab in the winter!!!) You asked for background info… I was an ((deleted--medical professional)) for years, then did a couple of ((deleted--public employment)),but then found my dream job.

Around 7:00 pm in the evening my brother suddenly called out for me to quickly come to where he was standing. He was on the back deck of my home and pointed to the west. The home sits on the bench of a mountain overlooking a valley and lake.

The light that he was showing looked like a giant spot light, but much bigger and brighter. It almost looked like a lone beam of sunlight that breaks through the clouds, only it was dark and the moon was nowhere in sight. The beam of light started at one point and gradually grew wider, giving the light the shape of a giant cone.

About 10 seconds after I first saw the light it began to slowly dim. As it dimmed I could see a spiral of light leading up to the source. The light didn't just go out either.

It seemed to disperse into a haze or cloud. Sorry if the description is hard to follow. ((NUFORC Note: U.

Unnatural bright light emitted from the sky, illuminated the hill side and turned blue then sped off in silent high speed. We all saw the brightest yellowish/white light we have ever seen coming from the sky in a triangle shape from what looked like a black hole. It shined so brightly towards a big span of space on the empty hill side then suddenly took off so fast with what looked like a light illuminated trailing behind it however it was all extremely silent.

The hill remained light and went from white to blue in color and illuminated and dusty every where for a bit after the object flew off. We followed it for a moment and it went higher than any plane in the sky and higher and higher until it disappeared leaving a bluish trail of illuminated light. The trail light is described as not like a rocket but as a illuminated trail or glow.

bright light in the sky with corresponding dust/cloud on the ground While driving along Interstate 70 westbound out of Moab, UT, but not before Green River, I saw a light low in the sky, roughly 500-1000’ above the deck, with an apparent cloud or dust plume below the light around the ground. The light was white/yellow in color. It moved west for about 10 mins in the same direction I was travelling.

I never reached the cloud or dust plume along the highway before the light dissipated. My initial impression was that it was an aircraft from the Moab airport, but it seemed too low for a fixed wing aircraft. I thought perhaps it was a helicopter shining a light on the ground, and subsequently saw a Highway Patrol car in the median of the road (I’m certain that he would have been in a position to film this event as he was facing West).

Having heard detailed reports of the events in CA on this night, I’m almost convinced that what I saw was related, though my distance from CA makes my think I was too far to actually see that. I’m wondering if this was part of a missile shield launch from UT to intercept something in CA. I heard no noise from this event.

It was hard to see any details as the highway out there is very dark and there is little ambient light from the surroundings.

Bright red blinking object with a vapor trail holding pefectly still. The object was blinking a red light on and off very steadily. It had a vapor trail, and appeared to have a flag-like object coming off of it.

I know for a fact it was not a twinkling star or an airplane or helicopter, I am a private pilot and know how to identify these. ((NUFORC Note: Possible sighting of planets? PD)).

Bright crown shaped object sitting stationary in the clear mid day sky, shrinks to a spot and then disappears. Happens 3 times Approximately 16:45, Driving on I-70 south bound with my 10 yr old son, clear blue sky, we noticed a round spot in the sky, looked like a star however it must have been far brighter because it was so clearly seen in the day time. After approximately 5 seconds it disappeared.

We see jets in the sky on a daily basis so we were trying to figure out how this spot could have been a jet when we saw a crown shaped object, 5-10x larger than the spot, once again as bright, sitting motionless in the sky approximately where the spot had been previously. It remained there for some time as my son and I talked and tried to figure out what it could possibly be. Then it shrunk down to a spot, like the one we had seen originally, and then disappeared.

We couldn't figure what would be so bright and sit stationary in the sky like that when suddenly it appeared again. Again we watched and racked our brains to try and figure out what it could possibly be when again it shrunk to the spot for a few seconds and then disappeared. When the bright crown shape appeared the third time in approximately the same place in the sky I let off the gas and almost coasted to a stop, staring and not believing what I was seeing however my son was seeing the same thing.

We continued to drive in the same direction for approximately 10 more minutes before exiting the freeway, we didn't see the bright object appear again. When we got to our destination and got out of the car we could see a couple of jets and the trails they leave in the sky and the trails were not nearly as bright and yellow as the object we had seen as we were driving. I feel there must be some logical explanation for what we saw but I can't figure what would sit so stationary in the sky, disappear and then return.
