There where multiple in the night sky 2 different spots The last two nights, the 14th and the 15th, I went outside around 9 PM to smoke and looked up at the sky. Coming from the west, it looked like they dropped into our atmosphere. We'll call them "dots," which were about one minute apart from each other.
They traveled from west to east, and we could see them for about 2 to 3 minutes. We counted 20 bright dots, and they were neither satellites nor part of Starlink. Then, one by one, they disappeared in the southern sky.
Two minutes later, looking to the north, we saw more. It looked like they dropped in and were moving west to east, and we counted 20 more. This has happened two nights in a row now.
To me, they looked military, spaced apart like in a convoy, and they were bright grey. The weird part was that there was a lot of night air traffic, including satellites and planes, but when these objects appeared, all other traffic stopped for about 5 to 10 minutes and then started up again. I have never seen anything like this before in my entire life.
They were moving faster than a satellite, with no zigzagging in the night sky.

I've never seen anything like it. Sort of floating, changing color light to dark, then just disappeared We spotted an object gloating up and to the left. Went bright/dark/bright silver/white.
I did get video. Might be a balloon?? Weather Balloons aren't common around here though, at least I've never seen one. Looked way to big to be a children's balloon.

Silent bright light A bright and silent light that emitted south of our location. Red to amber color with a bright white light intermittently. It caught our attention while we were in the hot tub.
We watched it as it moved south by southwest. It continued for 30-45 minutes. We believed that we’re watching a satellite, then it moved to the east.
It kept in the same area as it moved east to west over the area. We looked at it with binoculars, it seemed to have trailing lights all around it in a circular pattern. First sighting was approximately 1/2 mile or less, then it trailed back and kept moving east to west .

I was walking, observing the sunset, when I noticed a metallic sphere moving parallel to the ground. I took a video and photo. I was walking north on 40th street, admiring the sunset when I noticed a metallic orb moving parallel to the ground above Hawthorne Street.
Unknown elevation. It moved with speed and not like a balloon. I quickly pulled my iPhone out but by the time I looked up again it was lost in the sky.
So, I snapped a photo of the patch of sky I thought it might be in and took a video capturing that area. When I zoomed into the image and video later, I noticed I captured it. The photo is cropped.
In the video, zoom in and you can observe the object moving from the left side of the frame, it’s lost as I scan the sky, then it reappears around the 9 second mark. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

A silent silver cube flashing in the sun, hovering and swooping around. I have seen this thing a few times prior to this experience. This was the first time I saw it during the day and could get it on video.
I usually see it for 5-10 minutes. It appears over my neighborhood, hovers for a while and then swoops around. It repeats this a few times and then disappears.
It is silent. I thought it was a drone at first, but I've never seen a square drone.

I've been seeing these lights since January 15, 2024; they appear stationary but drift west and shimmy. I've been seeing these lights from my backyard in Portland, OR, since January 15, 2024. That night I saw what I thought was a very bright star zig zag back and forth, up and down, quickly.
I brought my partner out and he observed the movement. My partner and I observe them every night with the exception of storms or being away from home. I have counted up to 7 at one viewing, and always at least two are present.
Even on a cloud-covered night, the lowest of them will be visible while absolutely no stars are visible. They appear stationary but drift west. They at times appear to shimmy back and forth, up and down, or vibrate in a kind of wobbly hovering movement.
They appear at nightfall. I've awaited nightfall and observed that they do not fly in or ascend/descend, but simply are not there one moment and suddenly appear. They do not appear in unison; some arrive later than others.
They are not in any apparent formation. They remain in the sky it seems all night. I've stayed up watching until after 1:00 a.
m. and never seen them leave. So, in this way, I decided they likely are not drones since I can't find any information about drones with that much battery life (and they don't fly around like hobbyists' drones).
They do not drift like satellites I've observed. They do move slowly in ways (described above) that make me doubt they are stars, and their position changes slowly in a way that is not relative to the stars (Earth's rotation). I got a telescope several days ago and can now see their distinct lights that were slightly visible in binoculars.
They have indigo, pink/red, orange, white, and yellow/green, and aqua/blue lights distinctly surrounding the "structure" like a color wheel spectrum. The telescope allows us to stabilize our view, and indeed they do drift out of frame, toward the west. The telescope has a phone mount, so I am able to provide a stabilized video.
I'll include a photo taken through the telescope and one photo showing a naked eye example relative to trees in the yard and the neighbor's roof. One night looking through binoculars it appeared like a small white circular light descended from one of these, though I can't be sure that wasn't a perfect alignment of a satellite at the right moment. Other than that, their behavior has been consistent with the exception of noticing more appear in the last few days (from 4 to 7).
Planes fly through this area of sky on their normal routes. (Note: I can't tell if the video has successfully uploaded (no thumbnail). I am happy to provide more videos and images, as well.

30-50' diameter light burnt orange sphere which came from the west/southwest over my farm, flew for 20-30 miles before disappearing. At approximately 12:30pm on 3/15/2024 I was sitting on my couch speaking to my dad on the phone when plain as day in a completely unobstructed view a 30-50 foot diameter round object that was a light burnt orange color, approximately 200-300' up in the air, flew from the back of my property, from the S/SW direction into my view looking South. It was heading North/Northeast.
It was moving about 50 MPH. It was plain as day in a cloud free sky flying across the wide open 60 acre field directly across the road from me. I immediately went outside to video it from my Samsung Galaxy S21+ phone; while describing what i was seeing to my dad.
I noticed that it was a light burnt orange color, but at times would appear bright white and then back to its original color. I'm not sure if it was changing colors or if it was the sun reflecting off of it. It was flying in a upward angled trajectory increasing elevation as it flew heading North to Northeast.
Once it was about 7-8 miles away from me it just disappeared; however just a few seconds later it reappeared a good mile or more to the left of its original flight path but was still heading in the same original direction. I was able to observe it for another minute or so before it was out of my view. I was the only one home at the time.
I came back inside and was excited to send the video I just took to my dad. However when I opened my photo gallery there was no video there. I went back into my camera app, because I started panicking that I didn't have the video.
I opened the camera app only to see a note saying "Video Cannot Be Recorded While Speaking On The Phone". After finishing my phone call with my parents, I'm 57 & my parents are 74 & 75 years old, I contacted the local police departments Non-emergency line, they then directed me to the County Sheriff's department and I made a report with them. I then called our local news station in hopes that someone had also seen it and reported it.
The news station told me his hands were tied on stuff like this & that he was in the same boat as I am in reporting it. I then contact the airport to see if they had any reports of it. The airport executive office connected me to the tower control, I reported it to them.
The control tower told me to contact you guys at the National UFO Reporting Center. I contacted by phone the N.U.
F.O.R.
C. and reported what I saw & they asked me to file a written report; which I'm now doing. It was the most thrilling & spectacular experience I've ever had the pleasure of viewing!.

Bright ball of light blinks away While driving on the I-5 North to Salem, my eye caught a solid ball of light hovering a couple hundred feet (if that) above the mountains on my left. It seemed as though it could have been a bright white solid radio tower light just above the tree line or something. I kept my eye on it trying to find the tower it was attached to.
As I got close enough to see that there was only a single bright white orb above the trees and absolutely nothing else around it, the light just turned off. There was nothing in the air after the light went out. It was like someone was floating above the trees with an extremely bright light and then just flipped a switch and turned it off.
I drive by this strip of road frequently and I could not explain where a bright white floating light would have come from. I have had my eyes to the sky since I was a child observing space, I have studied physics, astronomy, astrophysics and know for certain that this could not have been Venus or Jupiter, however it did shine much brighter.

3 Stationary lights in a horizontal line above the tree line Observed 3 stationary lights in a linear horizontal pattern above tree line from a distance, definitely miles away (probably 5 miles or more). They remained stationary to my eye for roughly 10 minutes, then slowly started to move further away until they were out of view.Total observed time was 20 minutes, but unsure how long the lights were visible before I noticed them.
Filmed the lights, they appeared to be blinking in the video, but there was no notable blinking to the naked eye. I think it’s because my camera had a hard time focusing. I use an older iPhone (iPhone 6s)… Not flare behavior, and the aircraft would have to be quite large to be observed from my distance.
I’m in a residential area (Portland suburb) so a military exercise would be unlikely. I’m open to a prosaic explanation, but I figured I’d report this sighting in case somebody has more details that was closer to the craft(s).

2 lights looked to be spinning. Flying north bound over Bend, OR at 34,000’, I saw a light in the distance, about 50-100 miles west, over the Roseburg, OR area. The light disappeared the reapppeared 5 times, as if it was an aircraft spinning/rotating with its landing light on.
Altitude was approx 38000’+. Another appeared below it, with the same spinning light motion, then both disappeared.

Unidentified formation of lights seen on walk with a friend. Slowly rotating, & massive. Had a contour like it was a disk on its side.
Me (15) and a friend (age removed for privacy) were on a night walk. We were joking about how the sky looked perfect for an alien invasion, due to it's pretty smoky brown color. When we reached the intersection of Rosa Road and 192nd Ave, we were immediately distracted by what looked to be a huge, slowly revolving chain of lights hovering in the sky.
They were in a straight line (or mostly straight line), almost as if on the edge of a disk spinning on its side. I could see the faint contour of an edge or side. It was massive, Ferris wheel sized or larger.
There were over 10 lights, and they were close enough to trigger my mild astigmatism. They flashed several colors. It produced no sound, no shadow, and reflected no light on the ground.
There were several streetlights, however, so they could have overshadowed any light the craft produced. I stared at it for about 10-20 seconds, panicking, before attempting to take a photo. I would realize later that I had accidentally took a picture of the ground instead.
My friend was much more excited than scared, but I urged them that I wanted to go home. I told my dad what I had seen, but being a skeptic, he mostly shrugged it off. We decided to go back while I called my partner for support.
We could not see anything else. On the way home, I sighted a small, low flying plane heading in the direction of the object. There is an airport in Hillsboro nearby, however.
When we got home, my friend would report that they watched it as we walked away, and that when we began walking, it disappeared behind a nearby tree. Due to the fact I was still incredibly shaken, my friend suggested we watched a show to take my mind off it. Half way through (around 7:00), I could not stop thinking about what we saw.
They suggested we both draw what we had seen. They drew a line of several lights, and I drew something very similar, but with more of a contour. I am still very shaken after this, and it is possible that my panic has obscured some of the details.
I am just glad I am a writer, so I can properly attempt to describe what I saw yesterday. One last thing I would like to note is that I used the location data and time on the photo I took to confirm the location and time me and my friend saw the object.

What looked like a fireball was flying calmly, making sudden turns before abruptly disappearing. My mom, sister and I were leaving my mom's house when we noticed what appeared to be some kind of aircraft way up high, but it looked like it was on fire. It was orange, BRIGHT orange.
Despite this, it was flying calmly and making sudden turns every now and then. It took another sharp turn before suddenly disappearing completely. Unfortunately I was unable to get photo or video evidence.

I observed a black orb kind of floating around in the sky like a big balloon I was talking north on power line road on my way from coburg to junction. A commercial airplane I'm the normal flight path toward Eugene airport caught the corner of the my vision. I looked toward it and seen something round and dark colored kinda floating around in between the plane and me.
It appeared to be around a mile or so away from me and if that's the case it'd be larger that a sedan. I looked back on road them back at it. I realized I was wandering out of my lane so I looked shared again.
At the point I was really wondering what that was. As looked back toward the craft again it was gone. That's when I realized May be something.

It almost collided with the Coast Gaurd Helicopter I was standing on my front porch and heard a helicopter coming. So I looked and it was the Coast Guard heading right towards my house from the Northeast heading southwest. All of the sudden there was this white cigar shaped thing (with what looked like a long window in the middle of it) coming straight towards the helicopter from the southeast going to the northwest.
I thought for sure it was going to collide with the Coast Guard. Thankfully, they were much faster than the white cigar shaped thing. The cigar was going so slow that I could not hear the helicopter any longer.
I saw it long enough to open the door holler for my daughter to come here close the door turn back around and still see it before it went behind my tree. The sky was blue no clouds at all, no birds. I could see it through my apple tree branches.
It was quite thin compared to the helicopter. The I could see what I can only sense was a window right in the middle, shaped like a cigar. I could see the white all the way around the window.
It had no wings, no tail, no sound at all. It was one single object. It was much slower than the helicopter.
It had no lights. I thought if it was an aircraft it would have been illegal for them to fly so closely. It was also very low to the ground.

White light in the sky. At first glance the light almost looked like a star seen during the day, however there were no other visible stars. The light did not appear to be moving.
I was driving and temporary lost sight of the object after a few minutes due to my line of sight being blocked by trees and buildings. A minute or two later when my sight was no longer obstructed, the light had disappeared, however in the same section of the sky there was now two fighter jets moving in the direction of where the light had been.

Bright white light that I thought was a planet. Moved to the southeast and suddenly disappeared completely At approximately 6:30 am PST driving west into La Grande, Oregon, I saw a large bright white light that I assumed was a planet. I pointed it out to my granddaughter who stated it wasn’t a planet and was moving.
The sky was completely light and no other stars were noted. It appeared to move to the southwest towards us and then just suddenly completely disappeared. No other object was there, it was just gone.

White orb disappears I was standing in front of my house looking up through the oak trees that line the street. I was looking up through the branches on a sunny day with the sun being blocked out by the branches. I was watching pollen, bugs, spider webs, and other Earthly objects moving through the trees.
I noticed a white orb moving in a llinear line going from south to north but changing path from flying straith to erratic to stoping and changing directions and moving in ways that none of the other objects I had been watching for ten minutes by the trees was. This ggot my attention so I began to watch just this object (it was near the sun so it was hard to observe without the the tree obscuring the sun. The object stopped as if it new I could see it and I was trying to ascertain the distance to the object (former military with the Cav scouts so I am good at ffiguring out how far away something is) the object imploded on itself and disappeared right before my eyes.
The object never mad a sound or left any sort of contrail. The object was moving behind everything else that I was watching.

Heard loud crash and then saw object fly by. I was sound asleep, probably about nine in the morning and was awakened by a very loud crash noise. I live near a fighter jet training Air Force base so I am used to loud planes flying over quite often - sometimes very low.
This noise was much louder!! Honestly, it sounded like a crash. I jumped out of bed and ran to the window and saw what looked like a missile flying by. It was bullet shaped, metallic looking silver gray, and moving quite slow at a very slight decline.
It was flying at about my eye level from the house and then disappeared into the trees. I waited to report this because I thought people would think that I am crazy. I have never seen anything like this before in my entire life.
I hope this information is helpful.
