I saw a orange orb the size of a large exercise ball pass by a skyscraper half the length up when in my car in 2013 I'm new years eve. I have heard that glowing orange or silver orbs are a common ufo sight across the world. This particular report is of one passing by a skyscraper on new years eve 2013 at about elleven thirty at night.
It was orange and about the size of a large exercise ball and vanished after traveling pass the building half the length up at a slow pace. There is no way it could have been a traffic light or a reflection of any kind of city light. I could clearly see that it was an orb.
I hope this info is helpful as usually there are seen in the sky.

Beautiful, gold hovering lights. Upon pulling into the parking lot of the Peppermill casino in Wendover, Nevada I happened to be looking out the window of my truck, drivers side. Hovering directly above the Wendover airport was a gorgeous gold light.
I could not tell the shape due to the brightness. It reminded me of a golden firework.I said to my girlfriend in the passenger seat, "Look at that"!!, but by the time she looked it had disappeared.
The light seemed to vanish from the bottom to the top. The Wendover airport is tiny, so I don't know if anyone there saw it. After leaving Wendover the following evening (December 17) lo and behold, at the 33 Milepost marker, 33 miles east of Wendover, at 1833 hours, I was talking to my girlfriend about how beautiful the gold light had been the night before.
At that exact second, she screamed, "Look!! Look"!! And, out of the passenger window, just south of I-80, were three beautiful gold lights!! I mean, what are the chances of that happening? They appeared to be quite low in the sky, and they seemed to be in formation, with the closest one being the lowest (maybe 500 feet high?) and the next farthest one a little higher, and the farthest a little higher still. They were the exact same color of lights that the one over the Wendover airport was. Bright gold, with a little orange tint.
Then, while we were viewing those, they went out one by one. In both cases, none of the lights were moving, they were stationary. They were a gorgeous sight, especially the one over the airport, which was the closest to us I think.
The Wendover airport is located directly on the Utah/Nevada state line, although it just barely be in Utah. I have a graduate degree in management. My girlfriend has a graduate degree in social work.
We were not under the influence of any drug/alcohol. The weather was perfectly clear, the temp was in the 20's for both sightings.

I had a strange feeling the object was following me. I was heading east towards the mountains on the Dugway testing range road when I saw an object (it looked like a Disintegrating meteor heading from north to south traveling really fast at first then slow horizontally in the sky until it stopped and stayed in the same place for a while. I pulled over as an old truck sped fast around from behind me and to the east (mountains).
On the way home from that point I had a strange feeling the object was following me because here and there I would see a light in the sky that would look very similar. (the object was about 3-5 miles away and between Dugway chemical depot and rush valley.) Report submitted to The Utah UFO Hunters via online report form & forwarded by Pete Day UUFOH www.

Watched 3 disk shaped objects, stationary, and in a v-formation, for about 4 minutes. While deer hunting, with my son-in-law, we seen 3 disked shaped objects, sitting stationary in a v-formation.one was larger than the other two.
We were at about 9000 feet elevation, and the objects seemed to be just slightly higher than we were, and about two miles away. We stopped the truck , got out and watched all 3 for a couple of minutes, before the 2 smaller ones disappered. We continued watching the larger disk for another couple minutes, until it took off going west at a high rate of speed.
It was out of site within a few seconds. The objects looked silver in color and we didn't hear any noise. I could see a raised doom on the larger object with my scope, and it appeared to have some kind of vertical lines on the doomed area.
((NUFORC Note: We presume the sighting occurred in the year, 2003. The NUFORC Online Report Form is not recording dates in 2003 properly, we have learned recently. PD)).

Large Orange light gave us chills My experience: Sighting Event Details: My friend and I were holding an astronomy group for some boys that we work with. As we were scanning the skies for something worth while to point our 8" and 10" dobsonian telescopes at, my friend noticed an extremely bright light in the western horizon. We knew it wasn't a planet, as mars was to the south and east of us at the time.
At first, we thought it might be an aircraft approaching us and we were just seeing the landing lights. But, the light seemed to hang in the sky south of West Mountain(western side of Utah Lake), so we knew we weren't seeing the various transmission towers on the mountain. The object appeared to hang near or above the area where the town of Eureka is located.
My friend trained his 8" telescope on the object, and what we saw gave us chills. When viewed through the eyepiece, the object appeared to have 6-10 orange lights. The lights appeared to be arranged in an ellipse.
The excitement built between us, and we kept watching the object for a few minutes longer. After about five or six minutes, the object proceeded north above the western most mountains of Utah valley. The object moved slowly, and maintained its intensity.
After about fifteen minutes total, the object grew dim, as if it were heading northwest from us, and then disappeared from sight entirely.

I noticed they were flying in unison. I was on my roof at about 5:30am on Sunday, October 5th, looking for what else? A UFO. I was about to head in to go to bed when I saw a red, small light.
I pretty much disregarded it right then and there as a plane, cause after about eight years of looking and getting only 1 or 2 "UFO's", you can pretty much tell what is a plane and whats not. But I did another quick glance and noticed that there was another red dot about 2 inches behind it. I remember thinking, "Wow.
That plane is flying really close to that other one." but I noticed that they were flying inunison. Then they both stopped, hovered in the same spot then started moving, south away from me and a very slow rate of speed.
After about two minutes of south-ward travel the two lights went vertical, then 2 more lights apeared to the left and right of the previous two, making a lowercase 't' or cross. The four of them togeather spun slowly counter clock-wise, once, then vanished. All in all it only lasted about 10 minutes.

Very bright (triangular?) object flashing red & green observed drifting after being stationary. Witnessess: military people garding chemical plant, want to remain anonymous at this time. Were located about 10 miles South of Tooele on Hwy 36.
Object: Very bright flashing red & green. Direction: approx. 5-7 miles West.
Possibly over Wasatch Cache Nat'l Forest or Indian Reservation or Dugway Proving Grounds. Appeared above and behind mountain range. Size: smaller than thumb at arm length.
When observed with 50x binoculars from observation tower, shape difficult to resolve due to brightness, but looks generally triangular. Entire object is lit up and flashing. Motion: stationary for 10-15 minutes, then slow drift toward North for another 10 minutes.
Disappeared behind mountain top. ((NUFORC Note: Due to the length of the sighting, we suspect that a "twinkling" star would have to be ruled out, before we could conclude that the witness may have been looking at a genuine UFO. PD)).

silver/gray sphere moving silently east to west over Sandy, Utah I am from NC and was in Utah working on the exterior of a house. When I looked up at the side of the house, I noticed a round object moving across the sky at a high rate of speed. I looked up to watch the sphere, which was a silver/gray color.
At first I thought it was perhaps a balloon. It moved so quickly overhead that I had to turn around to try to follow it. When I turned around, I lost sight of the object and was not able to locate it again.
There was no sound. The sky was clear, with no clouds. I still thought that it might be some kind of a balloon, but I checked the directions and discovered that the object had traveled from east to west.
I have never seen anything like this before personally, but it appeared to be the same type of object I once saw on TV which had appeared over Mexico City.

((NUFORC Note: We suspect that a "twinkling" star is the first possibility that would have to be ruled out. PD)) Wobbling bright "twinkling star" exhibits white/yellowish light along with bluish and red randomly flashing lights. Riding in the passenger seat of a car East on Hwy 40 toward Vernal, UT, I watched what I thought to be a very bright star or planet in the low Eastern/Southeastern sky to the right of a 3/4 orange moon.
As the moon rose in the sky and turned to white, the bright star remained in approximately the same position in the sky. I observed the light intermittently as I gazed at other objects (stars, Mars, the moon, planes). After approximately 10 minutes of this stargazing I began to think the light was twinkling quite a bit and uncharacteristic of any star or planet I'd ever seen.
I was not aware the driver had also noted the odd characteristics of the light until he asked aloud, "Is it just me or is that star flickering a lot?" We both began to watch it in earnest at that point. We watched the flickering until we lost sight of it as we entered the hills, but not before deciding the white/yellowish light just might be intermingled with intermittent red flashes as well. We anticipated picking up the sight again once we cleared the hills some 5-10 minutes later, but were surprised to find it was not to the right of the moon where we'd "left it".
We continued our drive into Vernal scanning the sky for the same light, possibly tracking across the sky at this point. Instead we spotted an identical light in the low Northern/Northeastern sky. We watched from outside the car for a few minutes noting now this light had definite flashes of red.
The other witness got the binocculars and through these I saw definite bluish light as well. It was also apparent this light was not completely stationary. It didn't track across the sky, but seemed to "wobble" in place.
After some time it became apparent it also moved from side to side at times, but maintained the same general visual position in the sky. During this time, another identical but brighter light was spotted in the low Western sky. Through the binocculars the red light on this object almost seemed to be circling around an object and t! he bluish light was even more visible.
This object behaved in the same way, not stationary, but not tracking or moving rapidly. It disappeared below the horizon at about 23:00, but the light in the Northern sky remained in relatively the same position until we tired of watching it at about 23:30. The following night of 9/15/03 as stars were beginning to appear, we located the light in the low Northern sky easily just as before exhibiting the same colors.
The light in the Western sky was not as low as the night before, but it was also earlier in the evening. Unlike the previous night, however, the Western light blinked out numerous times for a few seconds while we watched. We left these 2 lights in these positions to investigate the posibility of them being satelites as a family member stated he'd heard of "red white and blue satelite(s)".
We can not find any information or mention of these on the internet. The only "red, white and blue" accounts were on this website, the most parallel account also occuring in Utah a couple of weeks ago some 3 hours drive time from here. The account in the Wasatch Mountains above Salt Lake City dated 8/23-8/28/03 is precisely what we saw in color and behavior and location, except we did not see them moving rapidly enough in one direction to say the lights moved out of sight or below the horizon as opposed to the Earth rotating and causing the position change.
I could only surmise the light moved and disappeared below the horizon because the other stars in visual proximaty did not move out of sight during the same time frame. However, I'm unsure what effect altitude or distance from the Earth might have on an object's position in the sky and movement through the sky from horizon to horizon. I know nothing of satelite characteristics except for the common white light tracking fairly quickly across the sky.
(We also noted 2 of these moving across the sky the night of 9/14,in close visual proximaty to the Western light.) Are these colored, wobbly flickering lights possibly satelites as has been suggested to me? If so, could you elaborate on the cause of the patriotic colors and odd wobbly movement? Please do not contact me except to answer the questions I've posed or to request more details of this specific occurence.

silent, white, kite-like object zooms through the sky We were looking at mars when I noticed and object that looked like a huge kite or hang glider quickly crossing the sky from north to south. I said, "look! what is that?" My dad and sister both saw it. It didn't make a sound and was white.
It was only visible for a few seconds before it disappeared.

((NUFORC Note: We believe that a "twinkling" star, or some other celestial body, would have to be ruled out, before we could conclude that the witnesses observed anything unusual. No other reports from Salt Lake of the event for the time period indicated by the witness. PD)) Object w/bright flashing colored lights observed over Wasatch Mtns.
6 days in a row. Saturday, August 23, 2003 Sighting: 5:00-5:30 am: Saw "twinkling" star in southeast sky over Wasatch Mtns. in Salt Lake City, Utah that was flashing red-orange, blue and white lights.
Got binoculars and saw that it was some sort of object that was very, very bright. The flashing lights seemed random. When I squinted, the lights were in line with each other.
At one point, the lights went into an arc, then flattened out again. Observed it for approx. 2 hours.
At one point, the object seemed to move from side to side. Then, as the sky was lightening with the impending sunrise, the object started to slowly rise upward until it could not be seen. 6:00 am: Got husband and he observed object also.
We watched it for another hour. Sunday, August 24, 2003 Sighting: 5:00 am: Object not there. 5:20-5:30 am: Object there, flashing red-orange, blue and white lights.
Again, at sunrise, object slowing began to rise until it could not be seen. Observed for approx. 1-1/2 hours.
Monday, August 25, 2003 Sighting: 5:30 am: Object there, flashing red-orange, blue and white lights. Observed for approx. 1-1/2 hours.
Tuesday, August 26, 2003 Sighting: 5:00 am: Object in southeast sky just a pinpoint in the sky. Noticed another object in northeast sky over Wasatch Mtns. Through the binoculars and with naked eye could see the same flashing colored lights.
This object was not as large as object in southeast sky on previous mornings. 5:30-6:00 am: Was watching object in northeast sky. Object in southeast sky seemed closer because it looked bigger.
Within a few seconds as I was watching the northeast object, I looked again at the southeast object and it was directly over the mountains and big and bright again. The object in the northeast sky started to go upwards and became smaller until it was no longer visible. The object in the southeast sky was very bright and seemed larger than previous mornings.
This object could still be seen even after the sky had lightened enough for the other stars in the sky to disappear. Between 6:30-7:00 am, it moved upwards until it was no longer visible. Wednesday, August 27, 2003: 4:00 am: Cloud cover, object not visible.
6:00 am: Cloud cover, object not visible. Thursday, August 28, 2003: 5:30 am: Object in southeast sky over Wasatch Mtns. very bright.
Seemed the flashing colored lights were even brighter than before. Also saw object in northeast sky, smaller and seemed to be moving away. 6:30 am: Object in southeast sky higher and moving away.
No longer visible at 7:00 am.

I saw a fireball in the sky moving too slow to be a meteor While driving home, a fire ball came into my line of vision over the top of my truck. It was traveling east to west, and dissappeared over the mountain. My first impression was a plane on fire, but this object had a distinct ball shape.
It was traveling too slow for a meteor. There were Flames visible around the object. Just after the object dissappeared over the mountain, I saw a flash of light, but the local airport beacon light was on at the time so the reflection of that may have been what I saw.

Looking for something? I was sittung on my poarch when all of the sudden a lighted objuec flying very low skirted in front of me and went straight up the hill and over the top and it seemed like they landed behind the hill because it lighted up the top of the mountain. The mountain was the same one that caught fire that year, the second time I know of it caught fire. I thought what could go that fast and fly like that? Nothing but a ufo, then a minute later another one came from exactly the same way as the first one did and went the same place and the back of the mountain light up so I am sure they landed there.
That iis all I have seen, Utah state University emitts a strange very thin looking beam that bends, I wonder if that could attract them? Latter that summer I saw some strange lights on the front side of that mountain It was as though they were looking for something. The lights, a blue, red and white, with a white beam beaming down looking for something. The lights and I can't remenber what their shape was but I do know that they were close together moving around the mountain.
Nothing I have ever seen could move around a mountain so fast and so slow as that. It would go straight up and over, then down, I went and got my friend to witness what I saw and he just said whoa, I dont know what the is. Neither do I but something they want is or was there in the North Logan Mountain.
If anyone is interested in the exact place I saw things I will be happy to point it out. I wanted to go up there but never seemed to get the time, and still wondering what they wanted, as I am sure it was a ufo. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that date is approximate.
We understand that a department of the local university has a blue-green laser, which is observed by citizens, from time to time. PD)).

A flash in the sky around Salt Lake City My wife and I were outside smoking and we were looking at constellations ( Orions Belt)and we saw what we thought was a satellite crossing the sky. But this was different from any satellite we had seen. It went across the sky but every 30 seconds it would go from very dim in to really bright.
Neither one of us had ever seen a satellite flash like that. It seemed as if it was spinning slowly with one light on one side. It also seemed to be moving at a very high rate of speed, moving higher in the sky as it seemed to encircle half of the salt lake valley.
