((NUFORC Note: We suspect the object of interest may have been a celestial body, although that is just a guess. PD)) A BRIGHT ORANGE WHITE STEADY LIGHT THAT GETS SMALLER AND BIGGER BUT NEVER FLASHES OR BLINKS. WE SEE IT EVERYNIGHT AND IT LANDS.
MY MOTHER LIVES IN SALLISAW, OK AND HAD BEEN SEEING THIS LIGHT THAT LOOKED LIKE A STAR. IT STARTED OUT BY THE MOON AND GRADUALLY MADE IT'S WAY DOWN TO THE GROUND WHERE IT SEEMS TO LAND. ON CHRISTMAS NIGHT I WAS IN TOWN AND RECORDED THE IMAGE ON MY VIDEO CAMERA.
MY HUSBAND, TWO SISTERS, BROTHER, STEPFATHER AND MOTHER ALL SAW THE SAME THING. IT LOOKS LIKE A PERFECT CIRLCE BUT GET'S SMALLER AND THEN BIGGER AND TURNS GRAY. THE INSIDE OF IT LOOKS LIKE A FUZZY TV SCREEN.
THE LIGHT NEVER FLASHES OR BLINKS. IT'S A STEADY LIGHT. WE THINK IT'S JUST A LIGHT ON SOMETHING BIGGER THAT CAN'T BE SEEN.
IT APPEARS ABOUT 6 O'CLOCK AND LANDS AROUND 8. IT'S NOT A STAR,,,STARS DON'T MOVE. AND IT ALWAYS COMES BACK IN THE SAME SPOT BUT MOVES TO DIFFERENT AREAS EVERYTIME IT APPEARS.
MY MOTHER HAS SEEN IT EVERYNIGHT FOR THE PAST 3WEEKS. NEW YEARS EVE I WENT BACK AND WE FOLLOWED IT. WE WENT DOWN A DIRT ROAD TO A LAKE AND WHEAT FIELD WHERE I COULDN'T FIND IT ON MY VIDEO RECORDER BUT WE COULD SEE IT THROUGH BINOCULARS.
IT WOULD DISAPPEAR AND THEN REAPPEAR SEVERAL MILES AWAY WITHIN SECONDS. IT'S SOMETHING VERY STRANGE.WE JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT IT IS.
THERE ARE NO TOWERS OR MOUNTAINS THAT HIGH FOR IT TO BE JUST A LIGHT.IT CHANGES COLORS.PURPLE , FIRE RED (WHEN IT LANDS) LIGHT GREEN, ORANGE, AND THEN CLEAR.
NOT IN THAT ORDER. IT DEPENDS ON WHAT NIGHT IT IS. THAT'S THE BEST I CAN REALLY EXPLAIN IT.
BUT WE'VE GOT IT RECORDED ON TWO OR THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. VERY STRANGE.

I observed an bright object on a clear night streak across Tulsa,Okla. from east to west. It lit up as it entered the atmosphere, leaving red smoke behind it.
It seem to appear right around the Arkasas river as it entered the atmosphere, then became unobservable in about 3 seconds. It could have been a meteor.

I was headed south on main st. in Duncan Okla. I stopped at the red light and up in the sky to my southwest a bright red light caught my attention.
It was moving in a circular motion then it split into two separate pieces went opposite directions and disapeared.Iam not saying for sure that it was an allien life form but i have never seen anything like that in my entire life.

Colored lights arranged in two parellel chains, vertically oriented. Two parallel rows of lights. Colors blue, green, red and white.
Oriented almost vertical. They were stationary when first observed to the southwest of my home in the country. They appreared to be at approximately 5,000 feet above ground level.
About one minute after I saw them, they began to move in an easterly direction at about the speed of a Cessna 172 aircraft at cruise. As they passed to the south of my home and were obstructed by the house, we could hear no sound. We went to the back yard, but could no longer see the object.
After about five minutes, we looked again and saw it at a much higher altitude, in about the same area were we could see Mars during it's close passage to the earth a few weeks ago. It remained almost stationary then for 30 to 40 minutes. We observed it through a telescope.
We could never see a shape, only the lights which blinked or rotated in a non rhythmatic manner.

As I stepped off my front porch I looked to the northern sky and seen a very bright light, much brighter than the stars around it. I continued looking at it and it started getting smaller until it completely disappeared. I now think it was moving away and getting smaller.
I've seen some strange things in this area of NE Oklahoma, but this is the only one that I haven't been able to rationalize. Thanks for your super site! ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that date of sighting is approximate. We wonder whether she might have been witness to a satellite, perhaps the International Space Station, which is quite bright in a clear sky.
When a satellite flies into the shadow of the Earth, it dims, which leaves a witness on the ground with the impression that the object had diminished in size, and therefore, streaked away from the witness. PD)).

flashing lights in easten sky ponca city okla around 10:45 pm i let the dogs go outside to use the bathroom, i noticed in the eastern sky a light that was changing colors, i called my wife to have a look at it and to watch it while i went to get a pair of binoulcars, we watched this object for a good hour, it seem to be oval at times and then would flatten out, it had lights moving all around it. red, blue, green, whiteish blue, it would only move a short distance then stop, then move again, going from east to south east, and then out of site in the southern direction, it was approx 40 degrees of the horizen at first then after about an hour it was approx 60 degrees when it just vanished, what did we see, was it the space station? ((NUFORC Note: Possibly a "twinkling" star, we believe. Just a guess.
PD)).

Star like, very large and extremely bright I am at my Father-in-laws and stepped outside to smoke a cigarette. I go to the back fence to pet the dog then turn around and look up to the sky as is my habit.I like to look at the stars every night I can.
I see what at first is a extremely bright star with a magnitude similar to Sirius but actually brighter. I am thinking to myself that it should'nt be there when I notice it's moving from south to north.I'm thinking this is impossible.
So I step inside the door and holler at my Father-in-law and tell him he has got to come out and look at this. He is a total non believer in anything such as UFO's and the like. He comes out and I point it out to him.
I ask him "what do you think it is"? We agree it is definitly not a plane(no sound) but it looks just like a giant star. He says maybe it's a satellite but I have saw them before and I don't think so.It's too big and too bright.
We watch it until it goes out of sight. He goes back in and about a minute or so after it disappeared I heard and saw a jet on a course that could be like it was keeping an eye on the thing. One more thing my father in law mentioned that he thought he could see like a tail on it.
I have better eyesight than him but who knows.

2 crescent shaped lights moving and changing into "rockets" with red flames, and no white streaks behind them. At about 5:30 PM, I was driving into Duncan, Oklahoma in Stephens County, heading straight west on Highway 7. The sun was setting, already below the horizon.
Looking north of the setting sun, were two crescent shaped lights. fairly large, with the convex pointing down. As I watched, the two lights got closer together.
I made a turn and lost sight of lights. When I turned west again, at about 5:37 PM, one light had turned around, changed shape into what looked like a rocket heading straight down towards Earth and the other craft. But there was no white streak behind it, and red flames coming from the back of the craft.
(the red flame looked like magnesium burning, color-wise). Then as I watched, at about 5:40 PM, the second craft (which kept its crescent shape, and was stationary until now) changed into a rocket (also with no white streak behind it, and a red-magnesium burning flame) and headed straight up into the sky away from the other craft. these two flight paths continued until about 5:50 PM, when the second craft disappeared from view and the first craft changed its course to run parallel with the horizon.
By 5:55 PM, the first craft had moved back up into the sky, and changed into a stationary bright light, looked like a star. Except that where it was stationary at, the sky was still light, not dark enough to see stars yet. By 6:20 PM, when I reached Lawton, Oklahoma, Comanche County, the light was still stationary, the sun had set completely, and I stopped watching.

Hundreds of glowing white objects in dozens of formations silently traveled for 15-20 minutes over Tulsa, Ok., 10/31/03 or 11/7/03. My husband was getting ready to leave to go to his work as a Security Guard here in Tulsa.
I was already outside with our dog when I looked up and saw several formations of glowing lights (white) in a pattern resembling an arc &/or a V shape. They made no sound whatsoever. I called to my husband to come outside and look.
He was as spell bound as I was. He witnessed the same thing. We watched until they stopped flying over.
They were very high and very fast flying north to south. There were hundreds of individual objects. There was an airplane in the sky at some point when they were flying over, the objects were traveling at a much greater speed than the plane.
I know he had to have seen them!! After my husband left for work, I rushed in to see if they would report it on the news. NOTHING! I am not sure of the date but the sighting took place the week of the last sun spots (magnetic) on a Friday night. Friday week or the last Friday in October.
It was a very clear night during that time, so we know there has to be others who saw these UFO's. We are a retired military couple and know what helicopters and planes look like in the sky at night, these things were neither. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.
PD)).

Strange flashing lights. While unlocking the gate at the end of our driveway, I noticed a strangely bright light to the East that seemed to "flash". I soon asked my wife to come out and confirm what I saw.
After getting binoculars we noticed that the light flashed with red, blue, and green lights and remained stationary. As we began to look around, we noticed 5 other of these objects and none moved for the first few minutes. One to the south east began to move erratically and after about 2 hours the object appeared to move further away.
I don't know if it means anything, but almost every cow, mule, horse, and dog in the area was very upset and this is nt normal. We looked again tonight and only saw one in the northeast sky. We also checked the lights against stars and planes.
obviously they don't match up.

object moved from south to north but had an unusual vertical bobbing action to it. Although I'm from a major metropolitan area (OK City, OK), the observation was made at my father's home. He lives in an extremely small town about 60 miles from me.
I'm generally considered a no-nonsense individual. I've been on this planet nearly 50 years and while it's possible I may have seen a ufo in the past, I'm almost always the first person to say, No, that was an airplane, or heavenly body or atmospheric condition or whatever. Nevertheless, on Sunday, October, 26th, 2003, at approximately 12:30 am while admiring the vividly clear 'country' sky, I spotted a brighter-than-usual light off to the s-se not far above the horizon.
The intensity caught my eye but then as I tried to figure out what satellite I might be watching, it began to move in a way for which I was not prepared. The movement was vertical. Up.
and then down again. Repeatedly, at about 1 full cycle per second. While I could not see a 'body' attached to the light, if the light had been all there was to the object then the amount of vertical movement was (I roughly calculated) about twenty times the diameter of the light.
Since I had no idea at first how far away it was I was using relative measurements. In any case, my first impulse was to think my eye was 'playing tricks' on me. However, fatigue was not a likely answer since when I'm at home I work as a computer programmer and my most productive hours are from around 11:00 pm to approximately 6:00 am.
In other words, that's the part of the day when I'm most alert. Another thing: I had my right eye damaged in an automobile accident 11 years ago, and while this may seem like a hindrance, I consider it an advantage in situations like this because since the car wreck I've learned to judge depth differently than most people. Also, although I program computers for a living now, I spent most of my life as a draftsman and had a great many opportunities to work with trigonometric functions while drawing various layouts for anything from buildings to bridges.
I'm no stranger to calculating distances using triangulation. In addition, I've had numerous trig and calc classes in both high school and college. So, since the object appeared to be stationary relative to latitude and longitude, I thought maybe I could judge its location by how it lined up with a major near-by tree limb as I moved around the yard.
This is not a bad technique. In fact, I judged the light to be 1.5 to 2 miles away.
At this point the idea of ufo had not crossed my mind. I thought maybe it was a ground search light from a near-by town. Problem is, most small towns don't own search lights of that magnitude.
Plus, the sky was very clear (no clouds) and the air was thin which meant no moisture for light to bounce off. In retrospect there was another thing that was gnawing away at me and I didn't realize it at the time: The thing seemed to be waiting for me to watch it before it started moving. I know that sounds weird but it sure seems that way now.
To continue. Just about the time I thought I'd figured out how far away it was, it began to move northward while continuing the vertical movement. Not all that far away it wasn't moving very fast.
I'm estimating it leveled out at around 60 mph and by this time I'd estimated it's relative angle to the ground to be approximately 15 degrees. It was fairly low on the horizon. Within the range of its vertical movement, its average deviation was consistent during this northward movement.
After a minute of so of watching it move toward a point which I would estimate to be about a half mile east of me, I began to get concerned. Unless this thing was a balloon, I should have been hearing some noise. However, there are two problems with this line of thought: 1) A balloon couldn't bob up and down that quickly and 2) On a clear night like that night, sound travels pretty well.
I could easily hear highway traffic a half mile away. The concern finally got to me and I ran to the front door and yelled to my dad. By the time he got his shoes on and made it outside, the light had moved behind some trees that line the east side of his property.
I pointed to the area of sky north of the trees where the object should re-appear and wanted him to see this thing with strange flight behavior. Unfortunately, it never re-appeared and he finally gave up and went back inside. I know this may be disappointing compared to other reports and I barely consider it worthy of most people's valuable time just to read it, but I tell it here because I have no logical explanation for what I saw.
It actually happened and it really gave me goose bumps when I realized that what I was looking at might be something from our government's secret arsenal or perhaps something even more exotic like an extraterrestrial object. By the time you get my age, firsts don't happen as often as they used to but this was definitely a first for me.

Last Friday the 24th of Oct. 2003 they were spraying an extra heavy grid of Chemtrails all over America and we were all wondering what was up. I have a beauty shop in my house and today (Sunday)I was doing my sister in-laws hair, she told me that on Friday right before midnight she and her husband were outside and they saw some very strange things in the sky.
She said that they had no lights and were very quite and looked like huge hang gliders or Manna-Rays and were hard to see but they reflected lights when they flew over them. Her daughter called the police and three officers came as well as 4 neighbors making a total of 11 witnesses. The police tried to shine a light on them but when they did they just looked like camaflouge.
They said they were going south by southeast She lives in Shawnee Oklahoma. about a hundred miles southeast of Geary where we live. Now as if that wasn't weird enough a friend of mine that lives in Geary Oklahoma had told that same exact story to us on Saturday.
She said she and her teenage son had seen those same things Friday night. I intend to call everyone today and interview them, and then compare notes. Apparently there were a lot of them and they were traveling in groups of 2-3-and 4 then they would not see any for a min.
or two. I am just wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this.??What could they be?.

low flying object just fadded away slowly as we watched it. Well I was Travling south on south high street.around the 5000 south area, that would be 51st and south high, south high is just west of Interstate 35, when i noticed a craft in the sky just a little east from where i was.
it was only several hundred feet up. very low flying. when i first saw it i thought it might be a plane but i didn't see any wings.
or blades like a helicopter, it was silver on top and the bottom half was sorta aradesent red, as i was watching it,it just fadded away slowly. it was not moving very fast if,it could have been standing still. it did not seem to speed off just fade slowly away.
this area is just west of Tinker Air Force Base. no more than 2 miles, the thing did no seem to be very big, if i was going to make a guess i would say no more than 60 feet long and 15 feet thick. it was odd shaped, oblong with rounded ends.
and no noise that i could hear. call me if you need to. it was fairly close to us.
I just wish it had stayed longer so I could have gotten a better look, Thanks.

UFO that was silent and very large in Northeastern Oklahoma We saw a bright light that was real low in the sky and it was too low to be an aircraft coming in for a landing. The light was really bright. We stopped the car and I got out and watched it.
It flew right over the top of us. It was the strangest thing I have ever experienced. The aircraft was huge, larger than a 3 bedroom house that is 900 sq.
ft. As I looked up at it I wasn't able to make out a definite shape. It had a light on each side and one in the middle.
The one in the middle was red. I worked for an airline and have had many planes fly close to me and this wasn't like any commercial airliners. The light sequence wasn't the same and the shape that I could make out wasn't like anything I have seen or studied.
The most important thing is that it was completely silent and it was only about 80-100 feet above me. It was going fairly slow and at time seemed to stop and then after it had passed overhead and went about a quarter mile it picked up speed and then disappeared.

Saucer hovering and slowly moving sideways a bit. Yukon, Oklahoma Date: September 30, 2003 Time: 11:45 to 12:30 p.m.
Hi Brian I recently was out in my back yard with a cup of coffee, and noticed something moving then stopped and hovered for about 30 seconds, so I went back in and grabbed our Sony cybershot digital cam and got a picture of it (lower right) UFO? My wife thinks it's a plane but I told her you should have seen it's movement, It flew off really FAST and was out of sight! I was home from work this last Tuesday , 9-30-03, the time was about 11:45 to 12:30 p.m., not quite sure.
When I first noticed it, it was just hovering and slowly moving sideways a bit, just west of our house, maybe about 5-8 miles, and I would say somewhere between 2000 to 5000 ft ?? Not sure, when I rushed back outside with my cam, it flew off after 10 or so seconds, in a north, northeast direction ( there is also a small airport in that direction too) VERY high velocity also, in a few seconds it was gone! This is the second time I have captured something strange on film, the other time, I caught on film what looked like a B1b bomber at high altitude. but I never saved it though. If I would have thought of it at the time, I would have put the cam on record, it takes short 30 sec videos, oh well.

Sighting of large bright silver orb-like craft followed by sighting of 2 cylinder silent craft. On 09-16-03 about 15:00 hrs. my wife and I were driving back from Hugo to home and my wife spotted a silver orb or globe shaped object, perfectly round and I saw also.
We watched for about 3-4 minutes and orb (very large) then turned from bright slver to dull grey and vanished. Seemed to be about 5000 ft. or higher & large.
We turned onto a county road off highway and then spotted two light brown or tan cylinder objects with blunt ends, about the size of 757 jet. They were drifting SW about 600-800 ft. in the air, perfectly silent, and went over horizon out of sight.
This was on a day with sky mostly clear with a few patchy clouds. Slight wind from north. Heard no sound on cylinders.
Cylinders drifted away from us to SW and did not change color but drifted silently out of sight. Ths all happened in the length of a few minutes. First sighting of the bright, silver orb or globe high up to the west of town and then almost immediately thereafter, sighting the 2 lt.
brown or tan large cylinders drifting silently to sw of town. Both y wife and I saw the same thing. She stayed in car and I got out in the road and watched.
My wife drew drawings of the objects we saw.

At Valiant OK, on 09/15/2003, in the late morning I saw an oddly bright light, then it fade out. I just read the sighting at http://www.rense.
com/general42/tan.htm. The bright shiny object is what I saw as I came into Valliant OK (Valiant is about 20-25 miles from Hugo.
). It was almost, if not still. I spotted it just as I made the city limits.
I tried to find a place to park where I could see the object and at the same time fumbled with my Mavica. I parked on the north side of Hwy 70, by the bank. As the camera booted up the object started to fade.
It faded out of sight over about 30 seconds. I thought it might have been an airplane, but I could not see anything after it faded. As I try to figure the angle that I was looking at, the best way for me to tell you is that if 9:00 is straight forward and 12:00 it straight up then the object was at about 10:30.
That would be about 50 or so degrees would it not? Then over about 12 or 15 degrees to the north, just over the top of the first building going down the business district. I have no way to judge the distance, or height, but it was about a .25 inch at arms length, and very, very bright.
I know this is not much of a sighting, but after I read the story about the Hugo sighting the next day, I thought I should drop you a line. You be the judge.
