Generally agreeing with other reports posted for this event. Have never seen anything like this; approx. nine yellow-orange lights in random pattern first seen in general area above confluence of Wenatchee and Columbia rivers, spread in sky and moving slowly from northwest to southeast.
Some lights moved up, others down even to below horizon line. Witnessed by three adults and one teenager from good vantage point near center of Wenatchee. Lights eventually either died out or moved beyond range to east.

2 lights circling each other in sky, then suddenly vanish, and aircraft appears soon thereafter About 6pm, I stepped out on front my deck and noticed a 2 amberish-orange lights in the eastern night sky. They appeared to be circling or revolving around each other, but the movement did not resemble any aircraft I had seen before. After about 3 or 4 seconds of this, one light went out, and the other moved rapidly away, then blinked out.
About a second later, in the same part of the sky where the second light blinked out, a set of lights (one flashing white, one pulsing red, and one green) appeared; these lights appeared to be some sort of aircraft to me. The lights moved to the left, then to the right, and appeared to go out so I quickly went in the house and shut off the porch light to see better. When I came back outside, they were on again, and were travelling from east to west.
I then figured this had to be an aircraft as that I often see a airplanes taking this route, so I went inside. Wanted to add that my front door faces east, and that I would estimate the lights to have been about 2 or 3 miles away.

The object was long and straight, it was dark colored and moved in a forward motion. I was standing outside on my porch with a friend. I saw this long dark color object in the sky, it was not moving at first then it moved slowly, that is when my friend saw it.
Then it moved quicker in a forward motion, and we didn't see it again after that.

One UFO seen near Burton, Vashon Island, Washington state USA, 1 minute duration, flickered away, and disappeared. I was driving down the street at around 7:45 PM western standard time. We were going down the stret outside my grandparents house, and as we went down the street we could see a strong light in front of us.
I asked my grandmother what it couldd be, she said it could be an aircraft. But, I saw it just disappear. It then came back, about 100 feet above where it was before.
It then proceeded to make one zig zag maneauvre, and just flickered away.

On Christams Eve my Mother, Me and 5 other witness saw orange balls of light N. of Wenatchee On December 24, 2003, My Mother went outside to smoke a cigarette. She called me out to say that she was seeing balls of light in the sky.
This was located north of Wenatchee. We are in south Wenatchee. They were shooting up off of what looked like Birch Mountain.
It began with 9, but 2 of the orbs or balls of orange/red light disappeared immediately, the other 7 seemed to rise up in the air, the color never changing or dimming in any way. At firt they flew into a triangle formation, then went to a straight line. These lights did not blink or flicker ever.
They spread out without moving it seemed, but moved to the east little. Then one by one they disappeared. Just like a light had turned off.

Fireball that just disappears We were standing outside, looking at the stars and I was commenting on how low the clouds were blocking the view. We were looking in a north, northwest direction when a fireball appeared traveling northwest, almost in a slight angle. It was bright red with a long tail.
As quickly as it appeared, it disappeared. It just went black. It didn't appear to have crashed into the ground as it went black above the horizon.
It could have just disappeared in the clouds, but the clouds didn't seem to be that thick to me. It was an amazing sight and what perfect timing to be looking in that particular direction at that very second!.

BROGHT RED/ORANGE BALL MOVING ,FIRST EAST, STOPPED AND RESUMED MOVING NORTH IT WAS ABOUT 9:30 PM. MY HUSBAND WENT OUTSIDE TO HAVE A CIGARETTE AND HE CALLED ME TO COME OUT. HE WAS POINTING TO THE WEST UP IN THE SKY, THERE WAS A RED/ORANGE BALL MOVING TO THE WEST.
IT SEEMED HUGE AND WAS VERY BRIGHT. THERE WAS ALSO AN AIRPLANE I BELIEVE COMING FROM THE SOUTH,BUT WAS BEHIND US. WE WAITED FOR THE PLANE TO PASS,WHILE WE WATCHING THE BALL STEADLY MOVING EAST.
THERE WAS NO SOUND. THEN IT STOPPED MOVING FOR ABOUT THREE MINUTES. MY HUSBAND WENT IN TO GET A PAIR OF BINOCULARS, AND IT STARTED TO MOVE NORTH.
IT SEEMED TO BE GETTING SMALLER AS IF IT WAS MOVING HIGHER UP IN THE SKY. WE WATCH IT FOR ABOUT 7 MINUTES. WE ENJOY WATCHING FOR THE SATILITES GOING BY,AND HAVE NEVER SEEN A SATILITE CHANGE DIRECTION LIKE THIS,LET ALONE BE RED/ORANGE.
WE HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS, DIDN'T EVEN THINK TO TAKE A PICTURE OF IT, WE WERE JUST IN AWE OF WHAT WE WERE SEEING.

Saw white circle larger than a meteor but it left no trail. I saw a white circle in my peripheral vision while looking south. At first, I thought it was a meteor, but it was too large, it moved slowly, and it left no trail.
As I turned my head to the east to get a better look, it was gone.

Fireball falling from the sky. Could have been a plane crashing.

Green fireball fell south and east of Granite Falls, WA Traveling east on SR-92 I observed a large (approximately the size of a paper match head held at arm length) bright green fireball falling in an easterly direction to the south. I was 2 to 3 miles west of Granite Falls. The object was falling at approximately a 45 degree angle.
Object was ablating as it fell and 2 or 3 large pieces were seen breaking off of the main object. The fireball burned out approximately 30 to 40 degrees from the horizon. No sound was heard.
Very similar in appearance to green fireball I observed on 11/5/03 though it was a lighter green and the sky was lighter. I expect there will be several reports since this fell during rush hour traffic.

Appears like large star changing colors and shapes, moving in zig-zag pattern then remaining stationary. Driving home with my sons tonight, we all noticed this star that kept flashing red/blue/gold/white. At first I told them it was probably a jet headed toward us so we were seeing all the colors.
As the colors flash, it appears to change shape to a diamond or triangular shaped light. But the "star" started darting about, going up several degrees at one time, then holding, then zigging to left or right. We started calling out these directional changes to one another, as well as colors, to verify we all were seeing it right.
This was in the southeastern sky, but well above horizon in mid sky. After about 15 minutes, the "star" became stationary, and we went inside. I just checked, and it's still outside in more northern position, but did not move much while we observed it this time.
The color changes have died down. Nothing else happened. It just seemed like too much movement and light color changes to be a regular star.

Very bright light, flickering and traveling faster than a normal commercial jet. We were sitting in living room, watching TV. I looked out large picture widow that faces west across the Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge.
The Columbia River flows North and South at this point. On most night, aircraft are flying overhead and turning west and then south to approach PDX. On this occasion, I noticed a bright, flickering light traveling along the Columbia River, about 2 thousand feet above horizon.
I couldn't see the craft. But the light was incredible: it was very bright and flickered, like a disco light flashing. It also resembled a tool I used many tears ago to set the timing on a car tune-up, where the light flickered.
And it was also noteworthy that the light was so bright and looked like the new halogen (?) lights on new cars. Very BRIGHT, it was unusual. Another thing, the object was fast but jerked up and down slightly.
Much faster moving that a commercial jet. Also, the light was eminating from the rear of the object, as if it were on the back end of the craft. There was no sound like jet engines, not the thumping of heliocopter rotor blades.
Silence!.

Freak Seattle lightning strike on or about 11/23, similar event in other west coast locations. This is not a UFO report, it is a strange event report. On 11/23 or thereabouts, my girlfriend and I were walking in Ballard.
It was cold, dark, and misting a bit, and around 10:30 pm there was a freak lightning strike; the flash was blinding and disconcerting, as if we were in the middle of it, but the thunder came about five seconds later. We thought nothing of it until the following week when my girlfriend's sister returned from California (Santa Cruz, I think) and told us the same thing had happened there. The night may not have been the same, but it was the same time - around 10:30.
She also said she talked to people in other places on the west coast (in California) who witnessed a similar phenomenon, all at around 10:30 pm. Again, I am uncertain whether they all occurred on the same specific date.

triangular craft spotted in washington state It was approaching darkness. We were driving in the northern direction. We saw what appeared to be a very slow moving plane or a very large star.
As we drove closer we realized it couldn't be either. Next, a helicopter came to mind. Though none of us had seen any helicoper with such a style and wing span.
It was triangular and there we blue lights on the far sides and in the center a large white light . accompanied by a small red light right below it. It stayed completely still until we drove past.
At this time we looked behind us and saw it moving in our direction. We continued driving north in the direction of our homes. As we turned the last curve we saw it coming over the hill side.
Later my friend reported that it disappeared shortly after she dropped me off.

Unexplainably loud , extremely close, hovering noise which resembles a large aircraft. This is not what I saw , but rather what myself and two dogs heard. We were approx.
1/3 of a mile west of the Fairchild airport in Lincoln Park. A wooded area that I always walk my dogs through. I grew up here in Port Angeles and have been in this park at least 100 times over the last 30 years.
Also the runway at this airport is not large enough for what we heard. It was the sound of a large, (very large) aircraft. I say aircraft because it sounded as though it was right on top of us, and my two dogs stopped in their tracks and began to crawl; something I've never seen them do.
I have never been behind a jet engine as it decelerated or accelerated but I thought, actually I dont know what I thought. But I do know this: I did not hear anything prior or after the initial encounter, and it sounded as if steel was being drug across the asphalt. Similar to an excavator , or a cat when their bucket is drug across the roadway when doing road repairs, Except this was a 100 times louder.

My husband went out onto our back deck at approximately 21:10 on Thursday evening and suddenly called out to myself, and my daughter to come on out and see "somthing". My grandaughter also went out, so there were 3 adults and 1 child watching this object high in the night sky. It seemed to have various lights on it-two were yellow and the third appeared to be a bluish tinted light.
The cradt was definately not a helicopter, or an airplane as it made wide loops and then sudden 'jumps' straight up and then moments later straight downward. It would stop suddenly and hover and seem to spin, revealing a change in the lighting. At these points when it would stop-it almost appeared cylinderical, however it was difficult to see the actual shape as it's altitude was rather high.
We could also see to the South east planes on their takeoff pattern from Seatac. The planes elevation was at least 2 - 4 thousand feet lower than the craft we were all observing. We were transfixed with the object.
I then remembered your web site as I heard it on George Noory's Coast to Coast AM radio show. While my family continued to observe. I found your website and asked my husband to report it, however, I beleive he was a bit nervouse and left out a little information, that is why I called again and left a seconf message.
We are interested if anyone else in the Kitsap County, Pierce County, or King County areas may have reported somthing similar.
