Sighted what appeared to be two meteors entering the atmosphere and another object of unkown origin. At 4 pm, sighted a straight down vapor trail, ending at 10 degrees above the horizon while heading south on I-5 just north of Centralia washington. At 4:11 pm sighted another object moving from southwest to east at 35 degrees above the horizon.
This object left a vapor trail and we observed large pieces coming off that upset the vapor trail. This object was visible for three minutes till lost in a squal line of clouds. A few minutes later an oval object was observed in the east at 120 degrees east of the other trails and at approximately 40 degrees in the sky.
The trail behind the object was to the south. Then object appeared to stall in sky with no trail and appeared to flow south slowely. Last sight of object in Vader Washington.
Assumed first two views were meteoritic in origin. Third sighting undetermined.

2 small lights staying in one place for 3 months. flashing and very bright. For about 3 1/2 moths there has been this strange light above my neighborhood.
It will get big then small big then small very fast. My friend and I watched it all night. The next night it was to cloudy to see anything.
We forgot about it after that. About 2 weeks after that, we saw it again only less bright and higher in the sky. Now, 3/02/06, they are by the side of my house.
Now there are both of them. in the same place only next to me house and are still flashing. they are small (and big but mostly small) and very bright.

Triangle shaped object, dull white lights on 3 tips, moving erratically, stop and go and NO noise, heading north of Sedro Woolley, WA I was traveling w/b on Highway 20 from the town of Sedro Woolley, returning back to my home in Bellevue. The weather was overcast with occasional light rain, not many other cars on this stretch of the two lane highway. I noticed a peculiar whitish light off to the front left of where I was traveling, it didn't look like a conventional aircraft and it wasn't moving at a steady speed.
I continued to watch this light, and at the same time was looking for a safe place to pull off to the side of the road so that I could take a better look at whatever this thing was. After driving and watching this light for approximately 2 minutes, I found a safe place to pull off the road, I stopped the car and got out to take a better look. The actual shape of the 'craft' could not be easily determined, and the distance was difficult to determine also, since there was nothing for reference.
The light was a pale shade of white and constant, and it appeared to be traveling in a northerly direction, at irregular speed. I was now looking at the object through 10x50 binoculars, always keep a set in my car for work related activities. I could make out a shape that resembled a sort of triangle, but with no definite shape, but occasionally, I could make out three distinct white lights on each 'point' of this triangle shape.
Funny thing about this object was that there was no noise whatsoever. After watching this thing for a total of about 5 minutes, a car with two older men in their 60's pulled off the road in front of me and quickly backed up to where I was standing. They were both extremely excited and wanted to look through my binoculars, which I turned over to them almost immediately.
By this time, the object was still visible with the naked eye, but not as clear as a couple of minutes earlier. After about one minute, I could not see the object, either because it was too far away, or because it had traveled into the somewhat low cloud layer. The two guys and I all agreed on what we had seen, as being something of a triangle with no noise, and again, I cannot even begin to estimate the size of the thing because I could not judge the distance.
I hold a Commercial Pilots license with instrument and seaplane/multi=engine ratings and have been flying since 1976, and former CFI and CFI-II. I know what aircraft look like and their flight characteristics, etc. This was no ordinary aircraft, ordinary aircraft cannot stop in mid flight and change directions almost simultaneously.
Well, that's all I have to report. I'd like to talk with any other people that may have observed this object, and hopefully somebody snapped a pic or two.

Triangular, slow moving, quiet, brite from a distance, red lights, low to the ground. My wife and I were driving and she saw something brite to the east. She thought it was a star, and I said it seemed to low to be a star and I thought it was a cell phone tower.
But noticed it was moving slightly towards us. We slowed then stopped the car as it was coming over us. Then she turned the radio off and the windows down as it was pretty much going right over the top of us.
It was very large in size very quiet and the light coming off it was brite enough to cast an image of itself. It was triangular shaped with red lights down the sides and it seemed to be flying about 100 feet taller than the tallest tree. As it left us we new this was something like we have never seen so we tried to follow it but the tree line cut us off.
And when we could see the sky again it wasnt there. I did see a brite light way off in the distance but in another direction but I dont Know if it was the same craft.

fireball fizzled out and resparks later from same spot December 16, 2005 in downtown Spokane WA @ approximately 9:30 PM?? My Friend, who was a once a military pilot and a POW, and I were traveling west on I-90 and from the Southern sky what appeared to be a meteorite or Fireball traveled in a northwestern direction. It was huge. We both spotted it at the same time.
It was bright, changing color yellows, reds, blues, and greens. It has a tail trailing it like you would expect with a comet. It lasted a good 6 seconds before it fizzled out but, in the time it takes to say, "Did you see that?" it suddenly sparked back up from the same spot it was last seen at and continued its course for another 2 or 3 seconds.
We weren’t quite sure what to make of it and thought we would hear something about it somewhere but never did. Please note it was last seen in the general area of the Spokane International Airport also that of Fairchild Airforce Base. Something like that had to have been noticed.
In my search to find out what it had been, a friend who had been out visiting on the West Side of Town at the time of the occurrence also mentioned having seen it and had commented that it was really cool.

While walking north on 18th Ave NE in Seattle's University District between 8:35 and 8:40 pm on December 12, 2005, I noticed a very bright orange light traveling slowly southward in the sky to the east of me. I thought it was an airplane until I noticed that it was just a singular bright orange light with no other lights attached to it blinking or otherwise. It was traveling under a vast grey cloud cover.
When I stopped and stood in the middle of a crosswalk to really observe it, it appeared to slow down even more until it ceased moving, then slowly began moving again. It slowed to a standstill and started again 3 or 4 more times. When I finally saw someone turn the corner on the next street in the direction I was going, I stopped them and asked if they could see the bright orange light in the sky.
It was much further away by then but was remaining stationary now and he said he could see it. He asked me if I had a camera. I said no.
We smiled and went on our ways. I looked for it again a few seconds later and saw the orange light was still stationary but getting very dim as if disappearing into the grey clouds above it. When I got to the middle of the next street I looked for it one last time but it was gone.
((NUFORC Note: We spoke with this witness via telephone shortly after the sighting. The witness sounded to us to be an exceptionally good observer, and quite credible. The object probably was not a conventional aircraft, given that it apparently had an orange light on its starboard side.
I am able to confirm that the sky was overcast at the time of the sighting. PD)).

Hovering light moving in the distance randomly at high speeds, no abduction this time. Clear early morning (0530), noticed a bright light in a direction southwest of my location that appeared to be a star or planet. Observed object for 20 minutes after noticing it was randomly moving up to 5 degrees on the horizon at a high rate of speed.
Object omitted green and orange lights at a distance of several miles. Went inside and informed 2nd witness who saw exactly what I saw. After observing it for 40 minutes, went in and got the video camera.
When I came outside again the object was no longer there. Did not reappear last night. Freaked us out.

Blue light impact - Marysville I was driving north on I-5 between Everett and Marysville, I had just passed Dagmars Landing, when East-North East a Very bright blue light ripped through the cloud cover and down beyond the hill toward Lake Stevens. The cloud cover was low with light fog, and this light lit up the clouds above it and all of the surrounding fog. There was no light from an impact or sound, but this was coming down so fast it had to have hit ground.
It looked like it hit just over the hill, very close. I then pulled off the freeway in north Marysville and asked the man who pulled in behind me if he had viewed the light also, he stated that he did. It could have been a meteor or something but it was pretty spectacular to see.
Everett Boeing had just ended second shift so I am sure alot of other people viewed it as well.

Dark object with three lights on the bottom arranged in a triangle I was driving north on I-5 at the Snohomish/Skagit county border, and right at the border line this thing flew across the freeway. It seemed to be going very slowly, but extremely fast at the same time. I don't know what the shape of the aircraft is, as it was pitch black out (Washington State=cloudy), but there were three somewhat dim lights on the bottom that shone straight down that were arranged in a triangle.
I nearly got in a wreck while I was watching-whatever it was, I have never seen one before-and I did not see any flashing lights on the sides (if there were sides, I am not sure), so I am almost sure it was not an airplane. It flew from East to West, and it appeared to be headed for the refineries at Anacortes, which is in a Westerly direction from Mount Vernon. However, there is an air force base on Whidbey Island, which is also West of Mt.
Vernon, so perhaps this was some experimental stealth aircraft. However, if it was, I would recommend that they turn their lights off next time. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.
We would like to speak with the individual who submitted this report. PD)).

Triangle over Richland, WA At about 17:25, I was catching a ride from the office with my co-worker. As we pulled into a quiet neighbourhood where I live, I noticed two lights overhead, pretty bright but not blinding. They seemed like regular airplane lights.
However, as we continued driving, about 10 seconds later the object was right above and to the right of our car, giving me a perfect view. It seemed huge. To be honest, I've never seen anything like that before.
It was triangular-shaped, with 3 dim blue lights at each tip, with a steady-glowing red one in the center. It slowly howered over the car at about 1,000 feet and gave me the strangest feeling. "Awe" is a good word to describe it, I think.
This is the first time I've seen something I could not rationally explain. It made no sound whatsoever. My friend, who saw it but couldn't observe it well enough due to the fact he was driving, suggested it was an airplane.
When we stopped not even 10 seconds later to get out of the car and have a better look at it, it has already vanished. What puzzles me, is the fact that it was moving so slowly, that it should have been still right above us when we got out. The skies were clear, and there are no big trees in the neightbourhood to obstruct the view.
There is a pretty big Interstate highway junction (actually, currently under construction for expansion) half a mile away. The object reminded me of the famous "Triangles" seend in Belgium in the 90's. To this moment I'm in a state of excitement, for this is the first time in my life I saw something I could not explain.
A true UFO encounter :).

big oval flash, which lit up the whole sky. numerous times distinctly. I was in my car, on canyon road (in graham) heading towards puyallup.
(clear skies that night, keep that in mind.not a cloud anywhere) so the sstars were out, it was very clear. and as i was heading my way to get on canyon road, i saw a big oval flash in teh sky way above the tree-line.
and the flash was like a camera, it lit up the whole sky likea camera flash for a split second. at first i thought it was thnder or lightning maybe, then i realized there is no clouds out. its to clear out.
so as i was on canyon road, the flash appeared again, the whole sky lit up for a second. but u could see the oval shape lighten up eveyr time. it was a big great oval shape.
i couldnt tell of any movement, just these very weird flashes. i didnt see any airplanes moving around. i made my way to 512, heading north towards seattle.
getting on 167. i kept seeing the flashes, it appears the oval shape was directly over puyallup. i turned on the radio to see if anyone was talking about it.
couldnt find anything on it. i should have posted this the following day but i just kept putting this off. i dont know what it was up there.
did anyone else in this area see what im talking about?? well anyway, thats my story. thanks.

Bright white diving light, accompanied by other lights that changed color. My two children and I were driving home and my daughter and I saw a white ball diving down towards the earth, REALLY REALLY fast. When we got to the spot where it would have crashed we saw a bright, white, blinking light where none had been before.
As we were talking about it it stopped blinking, then 3 popped on and were moving around above the trees. I had to look forward to drive, but my daughter said one of the lights turned purple and another one turned green. Thanks.

Fast moving starlike object west of Maryhill, WA: Zenith to horizon in 1 sec. Flat trajectory with wobble, did not flare like meteor. While enjoying the dark night sky approximately 1 mile west of Maryhill, WA I witnessed what at first I thought was a meteor except that once it was over I said to myself, "that was no meteor," for the following reasons: object remained at a consistant brightness from the time I first saw it to when it disappeared in the clouds near Mount Hood; and it had a flat, not arced, trajectory with bit of a waffle midway-kind of like a curve ball.
Also rather than being bright like most meteors, it was fairly dim, though appeared self-illuminating and a gold or amber color. Overall it somewhat resembled a spark from a campfire though traveling very high and very fast. There was also what appeared to be a westbound (Seattle?) commercial airliner in the sky very close to where I first saw it; the airplane lights were much brighter.
(I would not be suprised if people on the aircraft saw it. The object traveled from overhead (approx highway US97) to the horizon (Mount Hood)in one second or less, a straight-line distance I would estimate to be about 50 miles. It seemed to be travelling at several thousand feet in elevation not unlike commercial aircraft; I believe it did produce a slight glow in the clouds underneath as it passed through or over them.
When the object waffled, I got the impression that it had done a roll or rotated laterally in flight. Weather was cool; temps in the low 40s; sky was clear (no haze) with some patchy clouds. Oddest thing I have seen in the sky in 22 years.

Cigar shaped craft over observed over cascade foothills. It was moving slowly but disappeared suddenly. I noticed this craft in the sky in the Cascade foothills while driving east this morning.
The elevation seemed to low for a commerical aircraft and it wasn't moving very fast. It appeared to be heading west. Anyway I thought it was strange because is appeared dark and was shaped like a pen or "cigar".
It looked like this line ---- but thicker. I was trying to watch it and drive. Then some bright lights appeared on it and I thought maybe it was a plane with landing lights.
I lost sight of it while I passed some trees, I was going to pull over when I saw it again but it had completely disappeared! I found that puzzeling because it was only out of my sight for a few seconds. If it was a plane, where did it go?.

Nov. 16,2005 Place: Centralia Washington- 4/10ths mile West of I-5 Hwy on Cooks Hill Road & Scammon Creek Road It was about 21:00 hrs. I went outside to sit on the apartment bldg.
steps and have a smoke. Before I sat down, I looked up at the bright moon. I saw lights coming from the East and heading towards me (West).
I thought it was a plane at first. It was off the normal pattern. Only thing I've seen here coming from the East are choppers coming into the hospital here.
It had at least two bright strobe lights on each corner. It also reminded me of a plane coming in for a landing. How the lights blend together and as it gets closer they are separate.
When it got within about 300 feet of my position it turned to the North. And that's when I noticed it was triangular shaped, with round lights on all three corners and one in the center of the belly. One red flashing strobe underneath about center.
Along with the strange shape it made NO SOUND whatsoever. It was as low as the fighters I saw about a month ago. It took about 5 minutes before it was totally out of sight and it didn't seem to be in a hurry.
Total observation time was about 7 minutes. The following link gives a simular picture of the Black Triangular Aircraft. On the one I saw the lights were dimmer and the craft was smooth lines on all three sides.

Disc shaped, blue and white coloured object slicing the sky very quickly. I am not a believer, which makes me wonder why I am reporting this. My husband and I were watching a movie on tv last night.
At about 12:45am I witnessed this aspirin shaped object streak through the sky in a downwards direction for about 3 seconds. It streaked downwards horizontally, that is the craft didn't move down but somewhat sliced downwards. It was a pale blue on the top and white on the bottom.
The object itself was very bright. I was speechless and my husband got mad at me when I couldn't just spit it out what I had seen. As soon as I got it out, he stood up, went to the window and saw the exact same thing, but out the other window in our livingroom.
He described it to me, without me describing it to him first. He saw the object move across the sky from one point, to another point and then very quickly vanish. He said that the object tilted, and moved downwards, also in a slicing movement.
We went out on our balcony after the sightings, but did not see anything else. Although my husband swears he heard another aircraft go up after it, like military aircraft.

I went out to feed my chickens and looked up to see a triangle in the sky with 3 orange blinking lights, one at each angle. It went right over my head and I couldnt hear anything. In the distance I could see a bar of steady white lights floating in the sky.

Appeared solid, silver metallic, soundless, moved quickly and with precision. Silver craft, oblong saucer shaped. There was only one.
Standing on the hill at my condo looking east, (I lived on the hill overlooking Southcenter Mall.) it lowered and raised itself several times. It was about a 100' long, I saw it very close one day.
It had a smoothly textured (looked like brushed aluminum) skin. At that time I had recently quit working at Boeing. I worked there for 13 years.
((NUFORC Note: We have reconsidered this case, and have finally elected to post it. We do not know whether it was intended as a serious report. No date was indicated by the source, so we have assigned an arbitrary date.
