Bright light moving silently, west to east My wife and I were in our front yard checking out Mars, Venus and some stars, using our Canon 10x30 I.S. binoculars.

As I scanned the sky slightly west of the zenith, I noticed this steady bright light moving silently at a rapid even pace toward the ENE. With the binoculars, it was a sphere, evenly and brightly illuminated, sharp and clear with no running or navigational lights. It was slightly smaller than Venus and only a magnitude dimmer, and appeared to be self-illuminated.

I watched it until it began to dim steadily from a white light to a faint reddish color, then nothing. It took about four or five seconds to go from bright to being blacked out. The dimming seemed to encompass the object evenly.

Altitude, speed and size of the object.difficult to judge. Physical dimension was 1/32 inch viewing the scale from 12 inches.

My guess is the object was at 30k ft. or better, est speed 600 to 800 mph., possibly faster.

My background: I'm a 10 year veteran of the Air Force in Communications Maintenance and I am employed as Machine Maint. Foreman for a large area newspaper.

Triangluar Object very low to the point of seeing detail hanging over the city. driving south on IH 35 from north Austin traffic was very slow as I approched downtown I saw a triangluar object hanging in the sky very low right over the edge of the freeway. Easily seen by all on this part of IH 35.

There were no wrecks but very slow traffic. I called my husband on cell phone. When I was past the object and about to turn right onto Slaughter I saw a helicopter moving extremely fast heading North toward the object.

Whe I got home I found a phone number of who one should call and got an anwsering machine. I left a message. But was not called back to confirm info.

Then called a friend who was visiting her daughter in NC and who had seen one 3/10/1994 also in Austin of the same description and told her about it. Until I saw it for myself I didn't really believe her.Astonished that it wasn't on the front page of newspaper the next day.

Not that I bothered to look.

BRIGHT LIGHT FALLING FAST TOWARDS THE GROUND My husband and I were leaving from a movie when we both saw a BRIGHT spherical object appear in the sky and drop down very quickly. It looked almost white to me and a blueish color to my husband. We both said, "Did you see that?" at the exact same time.

It was moving much faster than an aircraft would. I was waiting for a large explosion or sound upon impact but we never saw anything like that. It just seemed to disappear.

I really thought it had to be an aircraft crashing to the ground but it was just too large and bright. My husband and I have seen a meteor shower up close and it was nothing like that. Not a shooting star.

We are puzzled as to what it could have been. I looked everywhere to see if others had reported it.

A brilliant, slow moving light, sped up and disappeared! This was unlike anything I've ever seen! I was star-gazing when I noticed a very bright light. It was an odd blueish white, quite brilliant. It was steady and had absolutely no flicker to it.

As I focused on it, I noticed that it was moving slowly, as I have seen satalites move in the past. Then it sped up and traveled a short distance and disappeared completely! I have seen hundreds of falling stars, many satalites moving in the night sky and countless planes, but this was totally different. The movement coupled with the brightness of the object are outside anything I have ever experienced.

I was in shock for quite a while and still shake my head in amazment.

Object appeared in the ocean on a beach road About ten years ago I was moving furniture from Galveston, Texas, to Port Arthur, Texas, down a beach road that was closed. It was two of my brothers and myself. There was a barricade that people would go around.

On our first trip, I looked out at the ocean and saw this red light that just didn't look right. I asked my brothers if they could see they both said no. I scanned the ocean for the light and found that it was trailing behind the trailer I was towing, my brothers still couldn't see it.

My brothers and I unloaded returned and reload, when we arrived at the barricade, I got about two car lengths pass the barricade the lights went out this was an abandoned beach road with no lights we had to take the long route, both of my brothers are dead and the only reason I'm reporting this is because I saw something on the television that implied that what I saw could've been the only part that was visible that road has been impassable for 8-9 yrs a perfect place for UFO's. Expanding/retracting spherical object sighted in southwestern sky. Around 21:00 my family was returning home from shopping when my brother noticed what he thought was a shooting star coming down but it stopped midair. When we got home we noticed a very bright spherical object in the southwestern sky.

At first we thought it might be a planet or bright star, but after a few minutes of observation we noticed it would change size and seemed to have lights that would come from and go back to it. At first the lights looked like aircraft, but they moved in an erratic manner and continually appeared and dissapeared near the main object. I got my video camera and zoomed in as far as I could and noticed the object was strangely textured and when I was zoomed all the way in it semed to retreat until I could no longer make out the texture.

We watched this go on for several hours and saw what appeared to be dozens of aircraft moving around in the sky at very low altitudes. Some would appear to stop suddenly and change direction. After going inside our house to change tape in the camera the object was gone entirely along with all of the various aircraft.

triangle over austin tx Ok so im not much into sci-fi or ufos but tonight im a beliver. i was taking my dog out back when i saw a triangel shaped object in the sky at first i figuer it was a big plane maybe a stealth bomber,as came closer i noticed this craft was huge it coverd up the moon, when i got directly over head is when i freaked out on each side of the bootom of the object where long bars of puling lights and in the middel of the back of the triangel were 2 strobes one red one blue very very bright, the aircraft made a humming noise not like an air plane but more like the sound of some ones computer cpu huming also it seamed to be going to slow for an air plane only about 500 ft off the ground in a north east direction i watch it until i couldnt see it any more let me tell you im freaked out the hairs on the back of my neck are standing up. Was taking out the trash at 6:00 a.m. I live near the dfw airport so there are always lights in the sky.

I know what a plane in the dark sky looks like.a couple of front white lights with a red light on one wing and a green light on the other. I was facing s.

w. and saw a very bright white light approaching from the s.w.

heading n.e. Thought it was an aiplane on approach.

As it got closer I noticed the light was intense and completely surrounded the "plane". It went over my head at about 1000 feet and made no sound at all. I still was thinking it was a plane until it passed and the bright light totally surrounded the object.

No wings noticed. No red and green lights. speed was about 150 mph.

2 shperes over china spring/waco Object discribtion(s): both were bright round spheres, traveling at the same speed from each other. they would come towards us then move away in such a fast moving pace. my friend was watching the one to the left and i was watching the one on the right.

the one on the right, flickered alot but the left one stayed fairly steady. we would stop and see how they were going, the one on the left went into the sky/clouds. the one on the right stayed and then dissapeared.

Saw something, not sure exactly what it was .but i'll tell you now it definately wasnt Venus or Mars .I saw both the planets while I was looking at this .

My Mother was out back and she knocked on my window to call me out there to look at what she was looking at .it was a VERY bright Red object in the sky, it wasn't blinking and it was longated in the sky and solid red .I see planes here and they blink and this was way to big in the sky to be a plane .

it started off near Venus but way much lower than Venus and it would go sideways in the sky to the west then come to a complete stop then move again west without going higher or lower in the sky it moved and stopped about 6 seperate times .after it got near some trees it became a hazy red color .if I were to estimate I would say it was about my hands size in the sky .

I then got into my car after the trees started to block its View cause on the other side of the trees theres nothing but sky cause we are already about 1500ft above sea level here and when I got to the other side of the trees there was nothing but sky and this object was nowhere to be seen, there was no object is the sky at all that I could see .maybe someone else saw something since it was about that time that people leave for work .I did grab my camera and intened to get pictures if I had seen it still when I got to the other side of the trees but no luck .

Strange bright lights in sky over rural area in Katy Texas. At approximately 6:00 PM at our apartment balcony, my mother and I saw what we thought was a very bright star in the sky.(**We have been seeing this light for several consecutive nights now**).

At first my mother thought it was the North Star, but then we realized that the light was in the Western sky. We began to look at it more closely, and to our amazement, it appeared to be slowly shifting back and forth as well as downward.At this point we decided to look at it through our binoculars.

The light appeared through the binoculars to be a bright white light at first , but as it slowly descended, the color changed to more of a yellow light near the bottom, with a definite red light near the side, and a faint blue light on top. We continued to watch this light for over 2 hours as it slowly descended from high in the sky, to just above the tree tops. At this point we decided to get in the car to get a better view before it disappeared behind the trees.

As we traveled down the road we kept looking up to try to find the light. At first we couldn't see it, so we thought we had passed it because of the trees blocking our view. We then turned around, went back up the road, and saw the light, so we decided to turn on a side road to get a better view.

We pulled off the side of the road to look at it. After looking at it for only a few seconds, the light quickly faded out followed by several red blinks of light, and then nothing. At this point another bright light caught our attention in the Southeastern sky.

We quickly took out the binoculars to get a better look at it. To our amazement the lights were the same as the lights we had witnessed previously. We then drove back home, keeping our eyes on the light.

When we got home, we got out of the car, and looked at the sky in the same direction and there it was. At this point, another bright light caught our attention directly above us that was even brighter and closer. We looked at it through the binoculars and saw that it had the same type of lights.

As we gazed at the night sky we spotted 5 more of these strange lights throughout the sky. *It should be noted that these lights at first glance appear to be bright stars. Only after careful observation does one notice that these lights are not stars.

A bright golden orb I thought was the moon at first then blasted towards space It was around 7:30pm to 8pm, my mom, brother and a cousin came to pick me up from school at that hour. Mom took the military highway towards the international Pharr bridge and it was very dark already. It’s been 20 years so I only remember it was late November 2005 because of the course I was taking back then and it was only Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I was on the back of the car with my cousin who was tired and started to fall asleep, mom and my brother in the front of the car. I was on the back seat of the copilot(my brother’s seat) and as I looked to my window towards the front I noticed a shining orb slowly moving up the sky in a 45 angle I’d say. I originally thought it was the moon so I didn’t pay attention immediately, then I thought “Wait, that can’t be the moon.

”. As I reacted mom gasped for a moment and said that something weird was in the sky and my brother and I said the same thing to her. My cousin was basically asleep.

We kept looking at it and it just stopped moving, the orb was hovering. Mom parked on the side as she had stopped driving altogether, my brother started calling my cousin to wake up and see this, then the orb made a sudden zigzag movement, 3 zigzag lines and the last one it just blasted away to space. It was like seeing a shooting star going from earth to space, I only saw a flash of light as it immediately left.

My cousin had already come out of the car but he couldn’t see it as it had left already. And we also noticed that there was no one else in the highway that night, no other cars that we remember, but maybe there were, we just didn’t pay attention to them. The orb was medium, not as small as some of the orbs we saw on the news years later, but they looked basically the same and it was clearly visible in the night sky and wasn’t blinking, it was always with the same radiant intensity.

There were no clouds that day. I still remember that sudden zigzag movement and how it flew off in an instant, it was something I’ve never seen before or thereafter. We got scared after it left that suddenly so mom drove to the nearest gas station which was at the international bridge.

We went inside and just wanted to be around people cause we thought we had seen something we shouldn’t have or to see if anyone else had seen anything. But we didn’t notice that at all. The next few days we all had issues sleeping well, we were just terrified.

Daytime UFO Streaks Overhead I am retired, and live in Dallas. We have two airports. Also, military jets fly over at high alititude, every day.

I know how to identify normal objects in the sky, including satellites, and meteoric phenomena. However, after doing some light chores in my back yard this afternoon, I decided to stretch out on the ground for a moment. I have 5 cats in the yard.

I was wearing very dark polarized sunglasses, and could see most of the clear, blue sky. It was not long before I saw a white, etherial looking and plasmodic shape moving at a high rate of speed. It was at high alititude, and climbing at a few degrees.

It banked up and down, and side to side only slightly, but enough that I could see the corners of an apparent triangle shape. It was not equilateral, because the object had what appeared to be a crescent-type effect on the trailing edge. It climbed out of sight, after crossing the sky in less than 15 seconds.

It gave the impression of intelligent control and purpose! It made no sound, left no contrail, picked up speed, and behaved as nothing I have ever seen. I repeated many times, "I don't believe it!" It was just plain weird! It left an impression I shall never forget- the quiet, effortless passage through the atmosphere!.

5 lights in a straight line spread over a 10-15 miles, moved fast to the east in SE Texas - Nov 2005 4 of us were headed back from the deer lease , when I 1st noticed 4 then latrer 5 lights some 3-5 miles away in a straight line. They were spread out over 10-15 miles. The last on had a red blinking light with a white light too.

at times the 2nd, 3rd or 4th lights the would disappear and then re-appear some minutes`later, still in this straight line, headed toward the East. We were traveling at 65-75mph and they were going much faster. Then all disappeared except the 1st one.

The row of lights were going parallel to south of HWY 290.

two objects almost hit each other and I could make out an sort of outline of the big one. When going home from work I saw what looked like the smoke from a jet plane moving towards each other like they were about to hit but they didn't there was a big one and a small one I watch it for about 5 minutes. Then the big one stopped moving and was steady I Kept watching it and it looked like it was moving away from me like it know that I saw it.

The small one that almost it hit was now following it and then I saw another one. I got close enough to see some kind of shape on it Like it was trying to be invisable but you could see part of the outline. I did see the same 3 things this last summer when I was coming home from Monahans a town that si only 20 miles away but I didn't think anything about it until today.

I don't know if I saw a UFO or not but I did see something this evening.

UFO in Ballinger Tx in the Middle of the Day, White Object with Amazing Skills in Flying Hubby and I were at Town and Country, he went inside and I spotted the white craft it the sky. It was flying around like a Hawk, up and down, Sailing in the Sky.It would Dip and Climb back up.

Kind of looked like a Box.It would change direction smoothly and go the other direction.We watched it for about 20 minutes as it just flew around.

It was Not a weather balloon.It was a long ways up and then would come down low as it teased us.Was quite a site to see.

COuld see no light but it was high noon.No Sound.
