Daytime UFO Streaks Overhead I am retired, and live in Dallas. We have two airports. Also, military jets fly over at high alititude, every day.
I know how to identify normal objects in the sky, including satellites, and meteoric phenomena. However, after doing some light chores in my back yard this afternoon, I decided to stretch out on the ground for a moment. I have 5 cats in the yard.
I was wearing very dark polarized sunglasses, and could see most of the clear, blue sky. It was not long before I saw a white, etherial looking and plasmodic shape moving at a high rate of speed. It was at high alititude, and climbing at a few degrees.
It banked up and down, and side to side only slightly, but enough that I could see the corners of an apparent triangle shape. It was not equilateral, because the object had what appeared to be a crescent-type effect on the trailing edge. It climbed out of sight, after crossing the sky in less than 15 seconds.
It gave the impression of intelligent control and purpose! It made no sound, left no contrail, picked up speed, and behaved as nothing I have ever seen. I repeated many times, "I don't believe it!" It was just plain weird! It left an impression I shall never forget- the quiet, effortless passage through the atmosphere!.

Three UFO' seen over Dallas, TX during daylight hours On the above referenced date, I was returning to my residence from a morning jog. It was a partly cloudy day with mild weather. As I walked facing the north just outside the gate to my residence, what I though was a very bright star suddenly appeared about 50 degrees in front of me.
As I looked at it, it moved quickly to my left and stopped. It then rose slowly changing from a bright start to clearly a solid inverted saucer shape dark brown in color. It hovered and as I looked at it, I saw out of the corner of my eye a second bright star that moved in the same manner and direction.
It also stopped and rose slowly in the sky to the same altitude/height as the first craft. As I stood looking at the two of them a third one appeared from the same spot in the sky and moved in the same manner as the other two. The third one, however, hovered without gaining altitude like the first two and remained in appearance like an extremely bright star.
They formed a "V" formation in the sky. I stood in disbelief at what I was seeing and decided to call 911 on my cell phone to report what I was witnessing. The first object moved slighly back and forth leaving straight lines behind it.
I felt that they knew I was watching them. While I was on the phone with them, all 3 objects simultaneously moved behind clounds. I stood there for several minutes afterwards, but never saw saw them come from behind the clouds.
I did get copies of my 911 tapes from the Dallas Police Dept. and DFW Airport.

On July 7, 2005 at about 11:30 at night, I noticed a bright light that sped across the sky, and was visible for a couple seconds. I really did not have a clear view, or I wasn't 100% sure this was a UFO. As I was sitting in my seat and looking out at Dallas-Ft.
Worth International Airport in Texas, I saw a light in the sky, it just appeared nearly suddenly, and within 4 seconds it was gone. You could say I saw it, blinked, and it was gone. It looked like it was at a high altitude.
We were on board American Airlines flight #2262 (a Boeing 757), enroute DFW-STL, at gate C11 awaiting gate departure. It was about 11:30, probably a little before that. I knew what I saw was too fast for any plane, even a military jet.
I could only see a white light, no other color lights. I know it couldn't of been a shuttle because those have been grounded since early 2003. Whatever it was, it looked like it was going to escape the atmosphere very shortly.
There were no stars that were visible, since there were many lights at the airport, so I know I didn't mistake it with a satellite. It was too low to be in space yet, but getting close to escaping the atmosphere. The light was easily about 35,000 feet, I would have to say anywhere from 50,000 to 150,000 feet.
I'm sorry I cannot be specific on the altitude of the aircraft, or whatever it was. If I had to take a guess, I would have to say it was around 80,000 feet. Again, the date was July 7, 2005, and the time was probably about 11:25 P.
M. We were at gate C 11 (terminal C gate C 11) on the ground at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

hovering rectngular shaped object It was a clear night. I noticed 2 large white lights as those of an approaching aircraft as if coming in for a landing. There is an airport about one mile from sighting area (Addison).
We were driving toward the object yet it appeared to be hovering. As I realized it was not converging as fast as it should I became more curious. The craft was hovering at approximately 300 feet.
I would estimate the length to be about 250 feet by about 50 feet and 50 feet tall. There were no strobes as an aircraft would have. There was a big white constant light at each bottom corner of the forward leading edge and one constant white light located on the lower center trailing edge.
The driver of the vehicle would not stop (on tollway) so we progressed under the object. I was unable to detect any real detail of the object other than dimensions. After passing the object it appeared to continus to remain motionless.
The rear of the trailing edge where you would expect the tail of an airplane to be had a square box shaped area like 20x20 that had multiple small blinking lights (red, white, blue). I continued to observe the objects orientation as we proceeded away from it and it remained fixed. After pleading to the driver to turn around several minutes passed before we could exit and re-enter the tollway to backtrack.
The object was gone upon returning.

3-4 UFOs visit the DFW airport and disrupt flight schedules. Several airplanes were forced to repeatedly circle the DFW airport while 3-4 craft blocked the runways. The crafts seemed to leave, but came back and hovered near the end of the airport once the airplanes started to take off again.
Planes taking off would have to bank a sharp right or left as the objects seem to intentional block their staight line of flight. (South End of the runway: close to Hwy 183).

Not a saucer. Many lights. Changed direction almost instantly.
Very low and SILENT. This is a second hand report from a friend. I will be as accurate as possible.
Friend reports seeing a bright object streak across the sky so fast that he initially thought it was a meteor. Then the object suddenly stopped and turned towards his position and moved very slowly. He says the altitude was so low that he could have shot it if he was so inclined.
Among the things he noticed are the following: 1. Absolutely no sound. He could hear nothing, but it was definitely close enough where he SHOULD have heard something.
2. It had wing-type structures and a tail. This was not a "Saucer" or anything like that, however it seemed to be flying too slow for a fixed-wing plane.
3. There were more lights on this craft than are on commercial/civil aircraft. He reports small lights in a rectangular pattern on the bottom, additional colored lights, and a band of light similar to a fluorescent tube along the side/bottom.
4. His gut feeling was that this was definitely something man made. It had an "of this Earth" look to it.
It disappeared behind trees and that was the end of his report. ((NUFORC Note: Party reporting the sighting elects to remain totally anonymous. PD)).

UFO seen over north Dallas My 12 year old daughter and I were walking west bound on Linden Lane in North Dallas area about 11:53 to 11:55 pm and we saw a sudden bright white light in the sky. We looked immediately.it was circular but not flat like a "flying saucer, almost slightly oval in shape.
It made a sound like part of it was twirling, it had some goldish lights, some looked slightly tinted with red, but most were white.it appeared to almost have tailights or lights inthe back of it.the sky was cloudless and very dark making visibility very clear.
it seemed to pass into the earths atmosphere and then disappear, perhaps leaving the earth's atmosphere. It was visible for about 4 -5 seconds heading north northwest. I could probably draw an illustration of what we saw, it was that clear and visible.
