Dallas, Texas UFO Sightings in 2003

Light in the Western Sky Earlier during the day on the 19th of November at about 2:05 pm, I saw a gray cylinder that resembled a fuselage without any wings going upwards and it seemed that it had some type of a faint trail following it. It was a bright sunny day and there were several other planes out leaving contrails in the sky but this object was just going straight upwards and it disappeared from sight in about a minute. The object was almost straight upwards from where I was standing but I was facing eastwards when I saw it so I had to have been eastbound.

There were no markings on the object, it was not shiny, but just a dull gray or dirty white color, and it's speed was difficult to tell since it was going upwards. Next, for the past two nights (11/19/03 and 11/20/03) there has been a light that is stationary close to my school in Richardson which is where I go to school and work. If you look towards the west, you can see that it is about at a 45 degree angle with the horizon.

Both times that this light appears, there had been several witnesses both faculty members, staff, and students that have witnessed this light. The object itself just seems to be a white or yellowish star that is out of place but has been seen in plain view at 5:45 pm and is extremely too bright to be a star. The idea that it was a weather balloon seemed to be a more valid case but with all the wind that we have had these past days, I find it hard to believe that a weather balloon would be stationary for over an hour.

There were several students that watched it until approximately 8:00 pm when I was told by them that "it just left after a while". When I asked how exactly it departed, the students told me that it left slowly towards the west. These same students also claimed that they saw another craft fly by with three red lights on the front of it.

The details of the shape of the craft were quite sketchy but I took it that it was shaped like a plane but the lights were arranged strangely. ((NUFORC Note: We presume the date of the alleged sighting was in the year 2003. We have altered the date above to 2003.

Very bright light (almost green) fell out of the sky and then disappeared in a very well-lit area. Did not look like a shooting star. Was in a very highly lit place riding in the passenger side of a car.

I looked up and saw a light, almost slightly green, that looked like it was falling out of the sky, and then disappeared. Again, I was in an incredibly well-lit area, near the Lovers-Greenville intersection, and it was very bright. The driver saw the object out of the corner of his eye.

I would say it was a shooting star, but it was different, much brighter, and just didn't look like any I had seen, and had no trail or anything.

I noticed a "plane" headed directly for my building at some distance thought nothing of it until it got closer and I kept an eye on it out of my window where I could see the lights but in no certain shape and I classify it as aUFO because it made no noise and hovered slowly.

Luminous translucent red sphere I was visiting a friend in Dallas. At the end of the night, I went outside and waited for my friends to say goodbye. I felt as though there were someone standing near me, I turned and noticed a glowing red sphere.

At first I thought my eyes were playinig tricks on me. Then I felt a bit of surprise as I realized this was not an illusion; instantaneously the object moved two feet back. I calmed myself and spoke to the object, complimenting it's colors.

The sphere was approximately 12 inches in diameter and had what appeared to be divits spaced two inches apart on the surface. These divits were brighter and lighter than the overall object, which glowed a luminous red. Gazing at the sphere, I noticed it was translucent.

I was distracted by my friend talking to me. As I turned back to see the object, it was gone. I looked around and noticed it had moved five houses down the street.

i never seen something like that . i was driving home over a brige and in the distance i could see a strage light moving back a forth and the person who i was with before i could say anything said look at that what is that and i said i was just abuot to ask you the same thing and we noticed it was getting lower and lower and moving in a direction that we could follow on the ground it turned and we turned then we were going up to a dead end and could not get in back behind the houses that were in front of us so we pulled in to a driveway a back as far as we could and the craft was moving very very slow so slow i thought it was going to fall out of the sky but it didnt instead it slowly moved closer and closer it was so close that now i could see it it was multi shaped in one way but it seam to shake or qake or move in so many diffrent directions but stable and it glowed orange or a type of orange that looked like the bottom of a cigarit liter flame. I didnt hear but mabe a wind but deffently it was not making enough sound that was was anything.

White or Luminous Disk seen I was coming back from class as I remember that this was the first day of class and it was a hot and clear day with big billowy cumulus clouds and dark blue sky. I rarely take notice of most things in the sky because usually it is just an airplane or helicopter as there is always so much air traffic in the sky. On this particular day, I was travelling eastbound on Walnut St.

in moderate traffic when I just so happened to see a glint in the sky that caught my attention. What I saw, at first, looked like a plane but it seemed to be luminous or was a white color. I would have dismissed it as a plane had it not rolled a couple of times and sped up as I watched it disappear into a big cloud.

When it rolled, I could tell there were not any wings or identification on it and it was about the size of an almond held at an arms length. The time that it traversed over the sky, after it sped up, before it went into the cloud was approximately 10-15 seconds, before it sped up, I had noticed it for approximately 5-10 seconds. After going into the cloud, I had enough time to park but it never came back out of the cloud.

I wrote down this experience and called my brother and told him right after it had happened but I hesistated to tell anyone else. The reason I am reporting this is that I feel that this report may be related to the Longview incident logged in on the same day of question.

The objects were round and one passed in from of the moon,it apeared to increase 1000 times size and glo from the back. Friday night,I was out side looking up when the first was sighted.The object moved from the Southwestern sky toward the Northeast at a 10 degree.

The sighting was about 10 to 15 seconds. My wife didn't believe me on the first one,then a second came over this one was moving from west to east.We both saw this one,the time was about 5 mins.

after the first sighting. Then a third one about 9:55 PM Central time this one again came from the Southwest going Northeast but at a 20 to 25 degree angle. No more were sighted for another hour or more.

((NUFORC Note: The ISS passed to the north of Dallas at 21:44 hrs., but the witness indicates a time for his sighting of 20:40 hrs. If his time is correct, the object he saw was not the ISS, which would have been quite prominent in the night sky, and approximately 10 degrees above the horizontal plane.

UFO SEEN AT A DISTANCE. ALTERNATED COLOR FROM SILVER TO WHITE IN THE SKY-DRIVING ALONG I20 TX. MY SISTER AND I WERE DRIVE FROM LOUISIANA ON SUNDAY 3-30-03.

WE WERE DRIVING ON I20 OUTSIDE OF DALLAS AND TRAVELING TO GET TO 35 SOUTH. I NOTICED SOMETHING IN THE SKY THAT LOOKED LIKE A SAUCER, IT ALTERNATED A SILVER AND THEN WHITE COLOR. IT REMAINED STILL THEN FLEW UP AND DISAPPEARED.

MY SISTER DIDN'T SEE IT THE FIRST TIME I SAW IT. I MENTIONED I THOUGHT I SAW SOMETHING STRANGE AND DIDN'T GIVE HER DETAILS. THEN SHE SCREAMED I SEE SOMETHING IN THE SKY.

I DIDN'T SEE WHAT SHE SAW BECAUSE I WAS TRYING TO DRIVE. THEN IT APPEARED AGAIN. THIS TIME CLOSER AND WE BOTH SAW IT.

IT REMAINED IN THE RIGHT VIEW FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME THEN DISAPPEARED. WE KEPT DRIVING AND IT APPEARED AGAIN. WE COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT WE WERE SEEING.

MY SISTER DREW A PICTURE AND SAID THIS IS WHAT I'M SEEING. SHE DREW A SAUCER. I AGREED WITH HER I WAS SEEING THE SAME THING.

at report time & date I observed a single solid black triangle, with no lights of any kind, traveling in a east to west direction at approximately a 60 degree angle. I saw this unknown object as I was faceing the south behind two homes while I was on patrol of a gated community in the heart of dallas. I had just hit a electonic key post when I happened to look up and noticed a solid black triangle apparently floating across my field of view.

the object seemed totally silent and appeared to be approximatly about eleven or twelve hundred feet high. I watched disappear behind one of the homes and did not see it further. A call was placed to the DPD who ststed they had no other sort of report concerning strange aircraft.

Witness verification of the Feb 1, 2003 'Object" in vicinity of Shuttle by CNN News at 08:00 CST Dallas This is a verification follow-up to two sightings made/reported in Dallas, TX - 01 Feb 2003 (actual event occuring about 08:00/9:00 EST) - regarding two witnesses (submitted on that day) - about object(s) reported at/near the Shuttle prior to disintegration. I concur that I also saw the CNN news clip that ran several times and then was suddenly "yanked" and not seen for the remainder of the day. FOX News did not show the clip.

I waited to see it again so that I could run it through the VCR and try to slow the sequence, unfortunate there was no follow-up. What I saw (brief seconds) was the shuttle with a bright object (whether cloud reflection or otherwise) close by. Although I did not witness the "dark" objects streaking by (and cannot confirm source direction) - within a split second I saw what appeared to be a small "burst" coming from the vapor trail of the shuttle.

The bright object (nearby) seemed to "disappear". There were no further frames after that event. My first thought was: "there is something wrong with this picture".

I knew there was (has to be) more to this when I didn't see that sequence again later. The DETAILS of this sequence would have been valuable in actual/post investigative analysis. It would be important to find out if there were more witnesses (actual visual) - find out what happened to the actual video (if it was "confiscated" - and why) - and in other videos (FOX included) I also saw what looked like a commercial airliner nearby.

More investigation from witnesses, pilots, or any other source may help recover some important information as to the ACTUAL cause of that tragic event. Please investigate this further I think it is important in finding the "missing" pieces. The seriousness of this requires it.

Objectivity a must.

CNN video shows more than just the Space Shuttle Columbia. While watching the news on CNN Saturday morning about the explosion of the Shuttle Columbia, CNN showed a video of the Shuttle coming in from a front view. In the video the shuttle is coming from the left top hand of the screen downwards towards the right.

There was a cloud in front of it with the sun reflecting on it making it glow, all of a sudden from the bottom left hand corner of the screen a dark shaped objects zipped across the sky upwards towards the right hand corner. It was moving quite fast and dissapeared in seconds. My 14 year old son and I looked at each other and both said at the same time "What the heck was that?" We watched all day long for them to show the particular clip again but the never did.

It was very clear to us and are wondering why it was never shown again. Please check into this with CNN and see what you can find out. I emailed them but did not receive a response back.

Looks much like objects filme and reported over Mexico in past year (very close by). Also saw what another poster saw.small black shapes zip acroos the sky at another angle (possibly bug or bird?) Something was up there with the Shuttle.

Object chased by Jets producing jagged contrails for over 30 minutes. At 0700 central time, I noticed a large lit object , almost directly overhead.Assumed it was venus (as commonly reported).

The sun was not up yet, and I called to my wife to see the VERY bright planet. When We looked again some ten minutes later, it had moved about a foot at arms length. (too far to move for a planet in the short timeframe) Wife dismisssed it.

Until fifteen minutes later, we both saw that it had disappeared! Ten minutes past that, as I drove her to work, we saw contrails of two VERY fast moving jets converging on the EXACT spot where the light had been. They crossed this same patch of sky over and over again in an "x" pattern seemingly searching for the object(approx fifteen minutes). When I returned home, I got binoculars to observe, and could only make out the contrails (puffy, and definately corkscrewed) converging again and again on this spot.

(approx 30 minutes).Then to my surprise, The light then reappeared (I could make out that it was round with shadow)! Both jets made tight turns and converged on the spot again.and as they were a foot away at arms length the light blinked off! as the planes crossed each other, I saw the light reappear to the south about two feet away at arms length!.

Again, the Jets executed tight turns and converged on the same spot, only to have the light dissappear again. this occured two more times, and then the light disappeared totally. I witnessed the short, jagged contrail-producing jets criscross that patch of sky over and over again until 10:30.

I saw a multitude of commercially identifiable planes (S.West and American) fly under the area in question producing no trails.Did anyone else witness this? ((NUFORC Note: We spoke with this witness over the telephone, and found him to be quite credible and serious-minded.
