Perfect Circle UFO Spotted at 30,000 Feet I was on an American Airlines flight 1566 from Dallas, TX heading to National Airport in DC. Our takeoff time was delayed and we left Dallas at approximately 2:15 p.m.
Dallas Time. Upon reaching cruising altitude (33,000 feet), I opened my window flap (I usually keep it closed during takeoffs and landings). At that point, our plane is flying above the clouds with about 1/3 of the horizon and sky visible.
I cannot see land beneath the plane. I noticed a solid white round object several thousand feet lower than my plane and located up to the North and East of my window (and the plane). At first, trying to rationalize, I think it is a bird.
Realizing birds do not fly at 30,000 feet, I continue to watch the object. It seems to hover or float. Eventually, it is directly in line with my window (but at the same distance away.
I surmise that at 500 mph, we have caught up with it, and it has not moved. Didn't see it move at that point. Still it appears to hover.
Then, rationalizing further, I think it might be a weather balloon. I have never seen a weather balloon, though, so I am not sure. No sooner do I process that thought, then the white object moves to the West.
It is still for a moment and then, shoots out in a diagonal of a north-westerly route and disappears in seconds into the horizon.

November 2001 Dallas, Texas UFO sighting downtown On the date in question, of which I am certain because I entered in my desk calendar, I am not certain of the time. But, I think it was about an hour or so after lunch because the remainder of the day on my calendar is leave (I remained at the office, I just could not perform anymore duties because I was a bit shaken). The weather was overcast and it had been raining a bit.
As I was looking out of my office window (building located downtown ), I saw a flat dark, grayish object appear just above the buildings about 4 blocks N. of my office bldg. The object was flat, with an odd sort of rectangular shape.
It definitely was not a helicopter. It flew very close to one particular highrise, a building I usually watch because it frequently has window-washers cleaning the windows, and it is one of just a few buildings in the center of the view from my office building. At first I thougt the object was a plane.
Then I thought I was seeing things, because it did not fly by, but rather just circled the building in question. It then hovered near the top of the building as if it were trying to survey it. It did this long enough for me to stare for several seconds, then to get my glasses and stare for several more seconds.
The object the quickly speed off approximately due north.

Dark immobile object in the afternoon sky I was sitting on my porch at 11:30 AM when I noticed a black dot in the sky. I would not have seen it except that it was in front of a cloud that made it stand out. I watched it for a moment and noticed that it wasn't moving.
I sat there for about 2 or 3 minutes watching it and then I decided to run out to my truck to get my binoculars. It took me about another minute to find the object again. It was still in the same place but the clouds had drifted away making it harder to see.
Looking through my binoculars I could tell that it had a shape similar to a stealth aircraft but it was so small that I can't be absolutely sure about that. There was also a haze around the object, like when you look through gasoline fumes. I went back to my porch and had a hard time finding it again.
I spotted it once but I lost it while trying to find it with my binoculars. The entire episode lasted about 10 minutes and I never saw the object move.

Disk Tries to Hide Background.Degreed Electrical Engineer,Jet fighter naintenance experence in the US Airforce. Bird watcher with over 170 birds identified in the field.
Also amature astronamer; with over 100 hrs. at the eyepiece. What I Saw: Was using my new binoculars to watch airplanes.
I was following one plane that was leaving a normal contrail. And this sounds odd; I just stopped and the plane flew out of the field of view.I was just looking at the contrail and I didn't know why.
Then I thought maybe I had seen something in my Perifial Vision. I start to search.I moved the line of sight up maybe 3-5 Deg.
Bingo! A round perfect disk made of cloud but the edges were sharp;it wasn't a cloud.I blinked it was gone. If it wasn't so odd;I'd think it was trying to camoflauge itself.

A spotting of bright and unusual flashes from the sky. I didn't really know who to report this to, but a close friend and I witnessed an event that we both believe to be very unusual. At around 1:00AM on the 10th or 11th of June 2001, while we were in his back yard we both witnessed a blinding reflection of bright white light.
Neither of us heard anything, nor did we see anything after that. And just now at 1:28AM on the 14th of June 2001, I witnessed a bright white reflection of light off of everything in my back yard as if a helicopter flew directly over my house with it's spotlight shining, but I heard no noise. I immediately went outside to see what it might have been and stood out there for about a minute before I saw two consecutive flashes of an orangish light that reflected off of all of the clouds in the sky facing north of my home which was the direction I was facing at the time of the incident.
Again, no noise or any discernible origination of the light was to be recognized. I don't know what to make of it, but I will be watching for any more unnusual activity.

3 hovering/slow moving objects in Dallas, TX, during rush hour. I was walking into a friends apartment complex in downtown Dallas, TX, and looked into the sky and saw what I initially thought was someone parachuting out of a plane at a very high altitude. There were 2 objects in the sky at the time between 45 and 65 degrees off the horizon.
One closer (the parachute) and the other was further away (what I thought was the plane). I thought that this guy was crazy because this was in the middle of Dallas and it was very high up. This was going to be on the evening news for sure.
I ran inside and got my friend who came out and I showed him and what appeared to be a parachute. When I returned it changed into a circular silver/white object that didn't represent the first object that I had seen, but still remained in the same location. I was gone about 15 seconds.
The two objects matched each other now in color, size and movement. I asked my friend what do you think it is. He said "a plane of course.
" We turned around and I showed him a plane in the sky that was moving at a high altitude 180 degrees from the location of the objects. No comparison. The two objects were moving very slowly together in a northerly direction.
Their movements were very calm and not jittery. I asked my friend if he had some binoculars or a zoom camera. He brought out a Nikon 35mm with a non-zoom lens.
I was able to capture pictures of the objects, but not as close as I wish. I captured several pictures of the two objects and as they continued to move slowly across the sky an identical 3rd object appeared. Within 4 minutes all 3 objects were no longer visible.
The sighting lasted a total of 10 minutes. I was able to capture about 5 pictures. Pictures will be sent in this evening (I hope!).
