I looked out to the north.high abouve the tree line, and i saw this light that was a bit brighter than the stars.i could see red and blue/green flashing/rotating lights i got my binoculars and got a closer look, it was obvious it wasnt a star because the red, blue/green lights were rotating i looked to the west and sow 4 more one would flash and have a brighter light for a second and then others would do the same, it was like they were communicating with each other.

Brite lite in sky over southern Idaho. Thought the brite lite was a planet - in fact thought it was Mars by its color, it was an orange white lite - never moved - just stayed in one spot for 7 to 8 minutes. Then real slowly the lite went out.

there was no evidence of aircraft or balloons.

Giant blue V flying south over airport during 9-11 no-fly at 3am i was facing south towards the airport on Vista ave. It was during the no fly rule from 9-11 so this big flying v caught my eye. It seemed to travel south (over the airport).

I jumped in my truck and started heading south to see what it was. it was gone before i started driving, and the lack of anyone on the road reacting or following it made me give up. Huge blue v streaking southbound over Boise Airport.

Woke up in the middle of the night, went to the kitchen and saw a craft and half dozen diminutive humanoid shapes outside. I was 10 years old and had an experience in the middle of the night which I was told was a dream. I woke up in the middle of the night with an inexplicable curiosity to explore the house.

I traveled down the hall and into the kitchen. From out of the kitchen window I could see very clearly a conical craft with a domed top, the point of which was oriented towards the ground, and several diminutive humanoid beings walking around near the craft. I could see them so clearly because the yard was well lit by lights that kept farm equipment illuminated through the night, as the house was located on the perimeter of a farmer's lay down yard.

The beings were very small, maybe 3 feet in height give or take 6 inches, and they were unthreatening. I don't have any memory of how this encounter ended, but I have always been convinced it wasn't a dream. We lived in this house for only 3 months, and had just moved in at the time this encounter occurred.

two light s coming from opposite directions, circled each other , then flew back to the original direction As I was walking out the back door, looking West, I observed two lights at about 45 degrees heading toward each other in a horizontal position. They looked like small stars or satelites or airplanes (?). I thought that they would collide into each other, except at the point of contact, they each circled around each other and flew off in opposite directions in a 45 degree angle.

I could not believe it and it took me a long time to realize what really happened at the time. I still don't understand why no one else witnessed this event, but I thought I should report it. Sorry it took so long.

light was seen, moved and got quickly bright then at the peak of its brightness it disappeared. Two of us were sitting at the shorline of Couer D'Alene lake as we noticed a light in the sky. Looking up seeing a dark yellow light, I focused harder on the source.

It moved slowly right in the sky and then the light became increasingly bright. At the very climax of the brief illumination it vanished, to return no more. ((NUFORC Note: Witness does not indicate whether the sighting was during daylight, or nighttime.

Red, Geen, Blue, and White flashing lights on stationary craft Four of us watched for more than as hour a very slow craft in the sky north and slightly east of Couer D'Alene ID. The craft was low on the horizon and rose slowly. At first we all thought it was an aircraft off in the distance but after watching it for a half an hour we felt it was something different.

The craft flashed red, blue, and green lights and would emit a white light from time to time. After a while it moved very slowly to the east parallel to the ground. At other times it would stay in one place for several minutes.

Two of us observed the craft creating a "worm like" pattern in the sky. ((NUFORC Note: Description is not unlike many reports NUFORC receives, which we suspect are caused by twinkling stars, and other celestial bodies. However, we did not see the object, and this is only an "educated" guess.

Close sighting UFO Well, it was a late Augest night and i just got done eating dinner so i passed out for the night. A couple hours later i awoke to go use the restroom. I'm standing there over the toilet doing my buisness,tierd from a long day and thats when something happened.

I don't know what happened it was like i was tierd and then in less than a split second i was awake.I dont want to come to assumptions but it was like i got scanned or my mind knew something was up that i was not aware of. That instant I knew what ever it was it was outside my window.

I opened the blinds and there was a flatened, round, oval shape was just hovering there 3 feet from my face. It was about 2 feet long and 4 inch's tall and was completly black and silent. The object hovered there for about 5 second's and slowly moved upward over my house making the wierdest noise ive ever heard in my life.

Flashing lights moving from West to East three flashing lights (red, green, yellow) moving fast from the West to the East. a sound like a something made of meatle being drug across a concreat floor was heard around the same time, unknown if it came from object. Lights seemed to flash to fast and object moved almost to fast to be an airplane.

Three Head Lights, Plasma bottom, Different colors, Bizzar flying Patterns, 2 encounters almost exactly 1 year apart. July 27th, 2001 While Driving Home From my GirlFriends house at 12:45, I was heading northbound on Meridian Road in between Ustick and McMillan. While coming to the stop sign at the intersection of Meridian and McMillan I saw a Green light coming from the field northwest of the intersection.

It was about 50 feet high in the air, moving parallel with McMillan about 40 feet north of the road. It was coming towards me and then the Green light dissapated. I could still tell their was an object flying in the sky and when it came to the point where it was going to cross meridian road, it banked and turned 180 degrees and was then heading west.

I was probably fifty yards from the craft. Then, the belly of this diamond craft lit up like white lava and radiated very bright light on the ground. As soon as the craft lit up, it dived for the ground and then pulled up back to about 50 feet from the ground.

Then the plasma light on the belly completely shut off. I saw It then bank, and turn another 180 degrees and it was coming towards me again, still moving parallel with McMillan coming towards meridian road. Then the Front of the craft illuminated it's front "Head Lights.

" It had three very large lights on the front of the craft. The lights remind me of lights in a Football stadium. The middle light was slightly higher then the other Lights on each side.

Then the Diamond shaped UFO started to radiate colors from the end of its wings. Not blinking lights like an airplane, But slowly appearing light that gradually became brighter in color. I beleive the first color was blue, then red then green.

It took about 5-7 seconds for each color to come on very dim, gradually become brighter and then dim out-to start the next color. After the green color on the edges of the UFO dimmed, the front headlights shut off, the UFO banked and turned again, the belly lit up and the CYCLE repeated itself. Instantly I knew I had encountered it again.

Absolutely nobody was on the desolate farming roads except for me. I had a sensation ! of an ov erwhelming feeling that I needed to leave the area ASAP. The only logical thing I could think of doing was to drive where lots of people were, so I headed towards boise down McMillan street at a very fast pace.

July 28 2000. While coming home from work at 1:20 in the morning on a late thursday night (Friday morning), I saw the exact same UFO I had just described. Except this was the first time I had ever encountered a UFO.

The exact coloring, shape, plasma bottom, three head lights and the cycles of going in circles were all the same. But, I didn't recognize it untill I pulled into my driveway at home. It was probably 100 yards away from me and the three headlights (It was so bright, that Is all I could see)was coming straight for me.

I scrambled inside of my house, and paced back in forth in disbeleive of what it was. I kept seeing the craft fly about 30 feet high off of the ground on my street where my house resides. I quickly woke my father up to tell hime about the flying crafts outside of our house.

He woke up and walked outside with me. Nothing was their. He went back to bed thinking I was insane.

About 20 minutes later I heard the distinct humming noise this diamond craft makes and I immediately went back to wake my father up. We went outside again and the craft was farther off in the distance. Within a minute or so the craft was in our back yard, doing the cycles and my dad was so scared, he ran in the house (of course I did too).

We peeked out of our windows and watched the craft for about an hour and a half, going back and forth inside and outside. While watching the UFO, it did it's cycles in three spots within about a couple of miles. The first cycle was right near our house.

Then the craft would fly about 2 miles southeast and do some cycles there. Then the UFO would go directly west and do more cycles and then come back to our house, (northeast) and continue its cycles. Three different spots of continuous cycles and then repitition.

This lasted for nearly 2 hours. The UFO was quiet large. I would say it is bigger then an average size home, Especially the width.

For how big it was, It meandered through the air like a hang-glider. For something that big to be flying 50-60 feet off of the ground and turning around and diving towards the ground, ruled out any logical explanation of what I think it could be. I also realized that when I had come across the UFO for the second time, it was one day away from being exactly one year from when I saw the first one.

The only thing I can conclude, is that both experiences happend on the last thursday night (Early friday morning) of July 2000 and July 2001.

two bright white objects with tails i was taking pictures of the sunset,and i did not notice what i had captured on the fugifinepix1400zoom digatel cam until i took the pics from the cam and put them on the pc .i dont know what these are but i would like to very much.i have never seen anything like them before.

Saw a multi-colored UFO fly from one side of me to the other for 2-3 mins. Witnessed 1 object large in size (can not approx. how big) approx.

3/4 mile away hovering approx. 1000-2000 feet high. There was telephone pole, and the object was behind the pole.

The pole was approx. 20-30 feet away. First saw the object mid to high side on the pole.

The object rose and hovered Apr 15 sec before shooting across the sky in a rainbow fashion ( in approx. 1 sec) to the left and hovered for 2 min on the left side approx. 1/2 mile away.

Could see it through the tree that was in the back yard. The object was orange, red, yellow, with a dome shape on top and a think band in the middle with no definition of a bottom. It made a low hum sound as it flew across over head in a rainbow fashion.

It was brighter on the left than on the right by the telephone. After approx. 2 min it just disappeared.

A very odd light that could not be a conventional aircraft that changed colors as if it was blending from one color to another. Had I not seen this I would have never believed in UFO's. I was taking my dog out before I turned in for the night.

I live approximately six miles from town so it is quite dark at night. I sat down on my porch waiting for my dog, the porch is orientated to the due West. My eye caught something moving and at first assumed it was an airplane or helicopter.

It was not moving 'right' for a plane and then thought it must be a helicopter at a high hover. It was slowing drifting and then changed color. It was then that I was curious, it was not a plane, why then would it have wing lights that are different colored? I called my for wife to see it and she was not very impressed.

It was nothing spectacular. An aircraft was then flying nearly over me at this time and I used it to attempt to judge the distance and altitude of the light. I judged it to be approximately 20 to 25 miles west of me and at 5000 feet above the ground.

During the time I observed the light it changed colors several times, at times appearing red, white or blue/white.When it changed colors it blended, it just did not change as if one side was one color and another side was another color. It never moved quickly or any higher or closer.

My wife observed it for approximately 5 minutes and then called my Father in law to watch it with me. He watched it with me for another 10 minutes. He said that he observed another two lights to the south that resembled the first.

I then called the County Sheriff and asked if they had had any other calls. The Deputy I spoke to then went to the roof and attempted to observe it as well. I know nothing of his observations or lack of.

At 0010 hrs the light darkened to a dark red and descended out of site slowly and I did not observe it again. I have served in the Army during Desert Storm and have seen many of the worlds' high performance aircraft at very close and far distances in combat maneuvers. I have ridden in Pavelows, Pavehawks, Ch-53's, British High Pro Ch-47's, and other conventional types of aircrafts and I have never seen anything like this.

I can not explain what I saw. The only other point of interest is that the light had to be very close to the Idaho National Engineering & Environmental Labratory, site of many nuclear reactors and testing facilities. ((NUFORC Note: We spoke with this witness and found him to be quite credible.

She said she did not think it was either a celestial body, or the landing light on and aircraft. No additional details provided.

A large clearly visible object that moved at low and high rates of speed and joined 3 other objects. On Tuesday, April 24th, I was walking north to my truck. Out to the west I saw what appeared to be a large bird which I assumed at first to be a soaring eagle.

I watched it glide for a few seconds before deciding it must be a guy hang gliding. It was below the skyline of the mountains. It was to the west of our home.

What I assumed to be a hang glider because of its shape and proximity to the mountains was earth-toned, brown, beige and white. However, these colors seem inadequate in describing the colors I saw at first. As I continued to watch what then appeared to be a hang glider swoop side to side dipping and circling it then began to spin and rise flopping end over end.

Then, trying to make sense of what I was seeing, thought it was a large piece of debri being blown around by the wind because its movement was so irratic. I watched as it rose higher and became smaller,about the size of a large star. It then stopped for maybe 2 seconds.

Then it traveled at a high rate of speed to the west, it stopped and traveled at a high rate of speed to the east. Its shape had changed to round and white or silver. I then saw 3 more what now appeared to be orb like spheres or balls the size of large stars darting back and forth in incredible directions and formation.

These objects where perfectly round and appeared to be silver metallic as they reflected or shimmered a little light. I watched these 4 continue to interact until they were the size of pin heads and then no longer visible. It was a perfectly calm day with beautiful blue clear skies and no wind.

I was left very excited, awed and wowed. The total time elapsed from when I first noticed this object was approzimately 2 minuted maybe longer. The size of the object was aproximately 1/3 to 1/4 the size of a full moon and became smaller the higher it rose.

I called my wife on her cell phone during my siting so when I get my cell phone bill I will know the exact time and length of my siting. His recollection of the event was very clear, and his account of the event was very eloquent and precise.

Pulsating objects, hovered, absorbed, left. Sitting in class, my friends and I saw out a window a pulsating object, continuely molding into each other and then molding out of each other, the two orbs were different colors, and kept changing shape. This is the same phenomenon we reported earlier.

Pulsating Orbs, molding into and out of each other. Walking out of local mall, one pulsating blue and green orb/triangle, and one pulsating red and oarange orb/triangle, hovered above head at about 40ft above the mall, continuely "absorbed" into and out of each other. The objects were acompanied by a shrill hum.

The objects, appeared to have a diameter of twenty feet. The objects remained in their "dance" for at least 12 minutes, followed by it's instant excelleration away from the ground and into the sky. ((NUFORC Note: One of two similar reports from the same source.
