A orange coilored sphere hovered over western horizon by Air Force base. Orange sphere hovering above western horizon. A sphere half lit but still able to make out entire form.

Seemed about 2 miles away from Offutt Air Force Base. Quickly disappeared. Unknown the time in which it first appeared.

Looked like about ten pieces space junk reentering from the south heading east. It looked like about ten rockets screaming accross the sky. Looking directly south it was about 35 degrees high in the sky moving to the east - northeast.

They all had a yellowy bright glow leaving sparks in the wake. Burning up quickly as the minute passed and more fading out than going out of sight. They were about three or four times as bright as the brightest star.

Fireballs in Sky I saw 5 groups of 10 fireballs each flying in diamond formation W to E while driving on a country road west of Grand Island Nebraska about 10:15 on the night of Dec. 1. Each was reddish orange elipitcal shapped with tails.

The formations formed a larger diamond formation. There was no sound as they passed overhead. They flew in a straight line and never veried in formation or speed.

I phoned my mother and she and my brother ran outside and also saw several of the objects. After the objects disappeared, I tried to follow in my car, but never again caught sight of them. I was not drinking or anything I know what I saw it was like one big dish in the center and four small sausers on the outside and they were going in a circle and would go in and out of the big dish, I was traveling in my car and was traveling about 60 mph and they were staying wright along side of my car I could see them out my drivers window about 200 feet away from me and about 150 to 200 feet high at first I thought it was a reflection from my car but rolled down the window and they were still there, The light was kind of dim like they were in a cloud, I traveled about 20 minutes and they were still there I would look out my window every second or so and they would still be there, I pulled in to a small town where I live and then lost them I went to my house and was thinking about it and after about an hour latter went out and see if I could find it but didnt find it.

Man of Reason fails to explain blinking starlike object with energy bursts This is the only "UFO" experience I have had. I am an advanced student of philosophy at an international educational institution. I am uncertain if my senses were decieving me or what, but waking up I saw out of my window what I thought to be a plane traveling at high altitude in a south-westerly direction.

The sky was clear. Suddenly the blinking plane stopped. "how could that be?" I thought to myself.

I then stared intently at the star-like object for several minutes. It seemed to me to continue blinking and began to shoot off what seemed to be a multitude of smaller "energy bursts". I went to get my telescope, and when I returned the blinking had died down and it looked like a bright star.

I find it hard to accept that my retina or some kind of tiny eye convulsions would have caused me to see such a strange spectacle. Thus I am left without a solid conclusion, other than this has never happened to me while looking at stars or planes. (My impression was that it was a gov.

observation/probe or some kind of demonic vessel. There are no "space aliens". Philosophically, it is impossible that intellences higher than human reason are a physical part of Creation.

Metallic hovering object seen near Offutt AFB, NE. I was dirving down 84th street and noticed a metallic object in the sky near Offutt AFB, NE about 8 miles from where I was and 2,000 ft. in altitude.

I thought it was an aircraft, such as a civillian aircraft that was crome ie "American Airlines", on approach to Epply Air Field but the object was not moving on a normal approach. As I pulled into a parking lot, the object appeared to be hovering. This peaking my curosity, I decided to watch this event from a higher elevation in town.

As I was driving closer this object it descended and disappeared from my view, I waited and watched for minutes in a near by park but, never seen a trace, or have a clue of where it went. I don't believe it was a normal jet aircraft, even a Harrier aircraft does not begin a descent from that altitude.

Small,star like object seen in sky moving about erratically. Sep. 12.

First obsevered star like object in north-western sky. Changing colors and it was dancing around for about 3 hours. It has been seen in the same spot till this day forward.

Simillar objects have been observed in the south and north-eastern sky. Called a relative on the other side of Nebraska and they could spot same objects. Objects are very high in the night sky but rapid movements and color-changing make them easy to spot from stars ((NUFORC Note: We presume that the witness is describing celestial bodies, seen in the night sky.

Black, triangular shaped observed over Omaha in daylight I was traveling on Crown Point, just where it connects to Blair High Road. The direction of Crown Point is curving roughly South West (SW), and when stopped at Blair High Road intersection, you are facing just about SW. In the distance I saw a black shape moving through the air almost directly eastward.

With many years of Air Force experience and familiarity with the air traffic patterns of the area, my immediate presumption was this had to be either a dark colored B1 or possibly B2 bomber heading in for a landing at Offutt AFB. Then, to my utter surprise, the object 'banked' giving me an edge on view.and what I now saw was a very long, narrow angled black triangle.

Having seen number of 747s at that distance, I would estimate it at about that length. It was clearly not the shape of a B2, which I have seen in daylight and night flight configurations. It was not a B1, first, because the only time it's wings are back in a 'delta' type configuration is when it is flying at high speed (which this craft was not), and second, because the shape was way to narrow and triangular.

I determined to stop and keep watching this craft, but I first looked down to my Van's clock to see the exact time.and when I looked up, the craft was gone.

intense white light illuminates cab of car out in the country Me and my girlfreind were out in the country for a make out session. It was dark. We were in the car.

The car was not running. Out of no where, a very bright light shined in the front windsheild. It seemed to be on top of the windsheild.

It lit the inside of the car with a very intense white glow. After watching the light not move for about 30 seconds, I jumped out of the car thinking somebody was shining a flashlight in the car as a prank. There was no one around.

Keep in mind that we were in the middle of the Nebraska countryside. There was a feeling of horror that came over the both of us. I've told a few people about this but they think i'm crazy or making it up.

I don't care, I know what I saw.

I wasn’t scared, just in awe It was a bright light, brighter than any plane or star and it was lined up strangely on the very bottom of the tail of the Big Dipper. It appeared to give the Big Dipper a way extra long handle. It stood out and stopped me in my tracks as I am a outdoors type and know that star constellation well.

Then the light started traveling towards me in a broken jagged manner yet a straight line at the same time. It kept stopping and going, when it’d stop I could see huge beams of light extending out the sides like wide spotlights, the object seemed to be rotating-calibrating? I could make out a vague outline of a craft it got quite near above me yet hundreds or thousands of feet high. It stopped, rotated, moved towards me and shot straight up and was gone in less than a second.

It never made a sound. 30 miles northwest of ainsworth on the niobrara at a campsite.

Two sightings within 5 days over Grand Island, Nebraska From my west window, around 11:15 at night, I observed a circular craft traveling from west to east very fast, about 10 seconds from far horizon to passing over head and to the right of my window. Circular view from below. As it passed, smaller lights were "dancing" over its underside.

The TV show "AMZ" did a segment on UFO's and the one they showed looked like the object. A few days before this sighting, I think , I saw the same object in the sky again about 11:15 at night. It was moving slow and changing directions with uneven motion, slightly northwest of the west window.

Bright lights "jumping" across the night sky. I was standing outside watching the sky when I saw a group of red and white lights. The lights were blinking as they seemed to jump around or fly erratically.

I watched it for about a minute when it just disappeared.

BrillianBrilliant green fireball (meteor?) seen arcing toward the ground while moving from the northeast to southeast horizon My wife and I were driving eastbound headed to the intersection of 90th and Fort streets when our attention was drawn to a brilliant green fireball in the sky. The object moved from about 40 degrees high in the Northeast horizon to a trajectory arcing toward the ground southeast of our location. The object had a whitish yellow tail and moved across the sky for approximately 7 to 10 seconds before it appeared to break apart and "fizzle out" just as it approached the horizon.

From my perspective the fireball was approximately the same luminosity, coloration, and size in the sky as one of the new green LED traffic lights as seen from about a block to two blocks away.

As we were approaching Lincoln from the west we saw a really bright green fire ball or falling star or what ever,it went from the north east to the southeast,it left a trail that turned from green to red or orange, it burned up before it hit the ground,or went out anyway.

2 big dots surrounded by 10 or 20 small flashing dots in no pattern. me and my sister, and my mom were looking at the stars tonight at about 9:00. My mom got cold but me and my sister stayed outside.

We were standing there when something caught my eye. I was looking North East, and saw two large white dots, a little bigger than normal stars. They were fairly close like a dots at the end of an airplanes wings, but they were much to big.

One was higher than the other, and it sortof looked like they were joined by an invisible line at a 45 degree angle. There were about 10 or 20 smaller white dots flasing around it like a strobe like in no patter. It looked like glitter in the sky.

It was traveling North East, then disseapeared. The event lasted about 2 minutes.

We watched it for 10 to 15 minutes,it went to the east,appeared to be very large,or there was more than one It had orangish/red flashing lights,could move very fast and very slow. Looked to be a very large whatever,could change dirictions very quickly, Also saw it the 29th just for a few seconds. Would seem to have the ability to appear and dissapear and appear some where else in the matter of a second or two,and move a mile or more in that time.

I am 59 and my wife was with me, and we have ranched here for 31 years.We have seen things before but never reported them.

extremely large cigar shaped craft, i'd say at least 200 yards long, 2 flashiing lights on each end. long, i'd say about 200 yards at least, it was right above us, 2 flashing lights at each end. it was slightly tilted, it was moving pretty fast.

we were in an extremely dark part of town. it was moving east. we saw one.

it was sort of cigar shaped, the lights were bright, flashing and white. me, a freshman in highschool, have done research on the ufo's, know what they are, i am interested in them. observer 1, freshman in highschool.

Triangle and companion craft spotted over Hooper, Nebraska. At 9:37, we were heading south on highway 275, a few miles north of Hooper, Nebraska. I was riding passenger and my girlfriend was driving.

I looked out the passenger window and saw a red light in the sky, heading diagonally to our direction. After watching it a few seconds, it changed course to parallel ours and headed south for a few seconds, then resumed it's original course, then headed south and then it's original course again. The object was making incredibly smooth course corrections, with no jerky motion like a helicopter, and I didn't understand why it was jigging right and left.

After it crossed in front of us (and my girlfriend saw it too), it came alongside what looked like a dark spot in the sky. We could see three white lights marking htree points of a triangle, a huge one. It looked a little like the "arrowhead" ships from the Start Wars movies.

We could make out the outline, and we could not see through it (the night was perfectly clear, and in the rural area we were in, we could see all the starts in the sky). The triangle was "pointed" west, left-to-right base-to-point. We pulled into a convenience store in Hooper.

I got out and looked back over the grain elevators where we had seen the triangle, and still couldn't see any stars. I did notice that there was a police officer parked at the convenience store as well, with his dome light on, and he was looking to the north (the direction we had just come from).

Circle object with mutiple white light seen on the wext sky over Omaha Ne. the object was in the west sky at a low elevatiion with multiple white lights with a large red one on the bootom that would flare up at intervals. There seems to be a dar round shadow moving around the objest blocking out the light for sometime.

As I write this; the object can be observed, but at some distance now. ((NUFORC Note: We wonder if the witness may have been looking at Venus, but that is a guess. PD)).
