Pale Blue Light in Night Sky Over Seward, Nebraska It was approximately 1800 hours when I was traveling westbound on I-80. To the south I noted a light coming towards me heading north to cross the highway. It caught my eye because the leading light on this craft was a pale-blue, or almost aqua in color and did not flash.

As I watched it start to pass over me I noticed only a rear light, which I can only describe as a dull dirty white glow. It was difficult to make out the shape of the object because of the time of day, it was twilight, and the sun had gone down below the horizon. I thought that it might be a helicopter and I expected to see that shape, but that is not the impression I got of it from its silhouette.

The object was not moving fast and seemed very low, if I had to guess, I would say that it was maybe 500 feet above the ground and travelling at approximately 100 mph. In closing, I spotted this object coming from the South, heading North and it seemed to be passing slightly west of Milford, Nebraska. There were no flashing lights, as one would expect to see from an FAA aircraft.

If you have any answers as to what this may have been, I would truly appreciate it. I have never seen anything that would make me report it, but this object was extraordinary to me. Thank You Sincerely.

Something is out there. It was late at night out in the country where there are no other lights in the sky, except starlight. We went outside to have a cigarette.

As we were talking we noticed to the south of use four pulsing lights in the sky. Two of the craft seem to try to get our attention by doing semicircles with one another, well it worked. The crafts stayed in the same position for several minutes.

These crafts moved at amazing speeds as they widened their gap between one another to for a straight line across the night sky. After a few minutes the craft to our far left took off sideways heading southeast as the second one appeared to head out of the Earth’s atmosphere, and the other two disappeared downwards below the tree line, so we did not get to see them again. Shortly after they were all out of view there was the sound of a high flying jet.

This I know because my job in the military was working with military aircrafts. There were not lights for this craft and the direction of its sound could not be determined, and it was not the sound of a civilian jet. I have heard this sound before.

I could only speculate that it was stealth in nature. I would have not thought anything about it, but for its timing after the foreign craft left. The jet made may passes over the area before it could not be heard again.

The funny thing is that in that area there is normally civilian air traffic; however, there was none. There is one other thing to add. The night before, around the same time, I was getting up to use the restroom and have a cigarette like I normally do.

I tried to sit up out of bed, but there seemed to be a force that would not allow me to. There was chatter all around me. I tried to look left and right, but could not seem to focus on any given direction.

Then it appeared I was no longer in my bed, but hovering in the doorway to my room. Another force pulled me forward. It made me feel uneasy.

I could feel whatever was controlling me felt my unrest. I was suspended in the doorway for an unknown period of time. The next second I was on my bed on my back looking up at the ceiling.

The ceiling started to glow a bluish white light, or that there may have been a light behind it. Right above me was a symbol of a blue cross inside of a rectangle that was pressing itself through the ceiling as though it was a type of branding tool. The last thing I remember was my alarm going off at seven thirty in the morning, and I was no longer on my back, but on my stomach faced down on my pillow.

I do not know what this experience was about, and nothing like this has ever happened to me, but I have known all my life that I was not alone, and that I was meant for something. reddish orange lights traveling in same path from Northwest to South in Omaha, NE In Omaha, Ne, on October 16, 2011 approximately 7:30 pm I went outside to move my car from my driveway into the garage. As I was pulling in I looked up at the sky and noticed a strange light appearing out of the northwest and moving towards the south. It was quite bright and seemed to move very smoothly across the sky.

I first thought it was a plane but it seemed to have too much red and orange colors on it. As it continued to move south , I grabbed my cell and called my neighbor and told her to come out into her front yard. When I hung up I saw another light appear out of the Northwest and start moving in the same path as the first.

As the first moved further to the south, I was able to get a better look and it seemed it had fire coming from the bottom of it which caused the orange-ish-redish color – above the orange it was a bright white but I couldn’t really distinguish a particular shape. Then there was another light appearing out of the northwest (now 3 in total) that started following the same path as the first two – they seemed to all gather in the south hanging suspended. I tried taking a picture with my cell phone but no luck.

My neighbor was looking as well and trying to take a picture with her cell phone. I think there were 2 more lights appearing and moving the same direction. I then ran into the house to get my camera and by the time I got back out there, my neighbor said they were “all gone”.

She then asked me if I had seen them form a triangle in the south but I didn’t as I had run into get my camera.

hanging star comes back every few nights i work the night shift and commute to work at 9:30, i live west of valley and a few occassions i have recently witnessed a bright light hanging over the waterloo area, i see planes flying around all the time there. this is not a plane or helicopter. one time it disappeared as if it was switched off, later appearing in another location close by.

Object over North Platte Nebraska At approximately 21:55 on 10-10-2011 I was about 2 miles south of North Platte on hwy 83 headed north. I was on a section of the hwy that had a view of direct north with no obstructions. As I approached the highest elevation of that section of the highway I saw a bright light that lasted for about 3 to 4 seconds.

I was on a direct north route and the object I saw was in the upper right corner of the windshield. I was unaware if the object was there for some time,I believe I saw it only as it came into view of my windshield. I would say it was about 20 degrees to my right traveling a direct south to north route.

The object had no tail so I believe it was not a comet that entered the atmosphere. The best way I can describe it in size and shape would be the same as the planet Jupiter. I am very familiar with that planet as I see it the morning from my back porch (I use Google Sky Map on my phone) It was round and it moved very quickly.

It was very bright and it was a white light with no color at all. I see planes and helicopter in this area all the time and it was defiantly neither. The altitude I cannot determine as there were no other objects to reference in the night sky.

It seemed to be going due north but not descending. At one point it was gone I am not sure where it went as I had to get my eyes back on the road. As I looked again it was gone.

The weather conditions were clear and cloudless. I am not claiming to have seen a "UFO" or "spaceship" what I saw was a large round bright object in the sky moving at a very high rate of speed.

We were smoking cigarettes outside our apartment building when we looked up and saw a helicopter shape translucent in nature zip under the cloud covered skies. Boomerang shape, color hard to describe like hard mist My husband was on the phone outside at approx 9:45 PM when spotted it above our house, he banged on the door for me to come out and pointed it out to me. It was boomerang shaped, the color was very hard to decipher I would describe it as being like a hard shear curtain color, hard mist. very hard to describe.

It was moving very slow, and levitated in one place for about 5 seconds, moved to the right, then continued to move forward (which would be east from our home) then it was gone.

Very unusual craft seen over Bellevue NE, headed for Offutt. While hanging out with a couple of buddies I noticed some hovering very close to the ground approximately 5 miles north of us, at first we thought it off thinking it was a police helicopter. A couple of minutes later I glanced back in that direction, saw that it was still in the same location, then i saw it drop several small objects that appeared to be blinking red.

I pointed it out to my buddies and they saw it as well, so we decided to watch it. Pretty soon we notice it getting closer until it passed us about 100 feet to the east, it was coasting about 200 feet in the air, very quiet emitting a very soft and low pitched noise, I'd say it was moving about 75 miles per hour. It look like a dark colored orb with three bright white lights (one on each side and one on the very front, it also had a green light which came on and looked like a laser but could only see it until it got about 20 feet away from the craft and it was changing direction and seem to be m! oving around the surface of it.

After passing us it turned east headed for Offutt air force base, we tryed to follow it all roads into the area of the base were closed, and we lost it.

Fast moving UFO with 90 degree right turn around Scottsbluff, NE I was driving home from Wyoming to Western Nebraska at about 10:15PM Mountain time. A bright light, about the size of a bright star moved quickly across the sky from west to east. I was driving east on Highway US 26.

The object caught my eye when I noticed it through the front windshield. It looked like a satellite, only moving much, much faster, and brighter. After moving almost towards the eastern horizon, the light stopped for a split second, then made a roughly 90 degree turn to the right, and sped off very fast to the south and disappeared from view on the southern horizon (or at least behind one of the many large rock features that are around the area).

There was a full moon outside, and most of the visible stars in the sky were obscured by moonlight. The light was VERY bright, white in color with an almost slight green hue. The sky at the time of the event was clear, although we did have some rain earlier in the evening.

The entire event took about 10 seconds (seemed much longer). I am highly educated (Doctoral degree), and work in public service. I was completely sober, and was wide awake and aware.

As a side note, I felt right after the sighting a "butterflies in the stomach feeling," and felt a feeling akin to the object knew that I observed it. I can't explain the feeling in words that properly describe the emotional experience. Again, very, very strange.

I have never experienced anything like this before, and frankly, I found fascinating, exciting and disturbing. Especially once I had some time to digest what happened. I felt compelled to make a report.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo or video. The experience simply happened to fast to get my phone out of my pocket. In the future, I am going to have my phone out and in the cup holder! -grin-.

Very fast triangle type object I was on my way home from work tonight, and for the first time ever, I saw something completely unexplainable. At about 9:15, it moved South East. I noticed it just over 144th and Pacific area (For people familiar with the area) and if I was to explain what it seemed to look like.

It had a triangle like end abiout 40 degree angle and a much more gradual triangle on the other end about 20 degrees. I could not see any details on what it actually looked like as far as color because it was dark, but it had about 5-6 little white/yellow lights and one red light. Besides the overall shape and complete lack of sound, it was the size of a large airplane and when I noticed it, it was too close not to make a sound.

The lights did not blink but did seem to turn off for a couple seconds and come back on which was also strange. The most strange thing I noticed was the way it flew, it seemed to go side to side and up in down almost like a kite but still flew am! azingly fast. Seemed to cross about 5-6 miles in about 30 seconds but didnt seem to move like that.

Observed: Bright white light, about 2-3 times brighter/bigger than the brightest star at night. stationary, then moved, then vanished 09-12-2011 I’m a security guard working for one of the businesses here in La Vista. I work the night shift and I was on one of my patrols through the building and was on the 3rd floor.

I was looking out of one of the windows around 04:38am overlooking the parking lot (looking east) and I noticed something in the southeast that at first I thought was a really bright star (bright white light) but it was about 2-3 times brighter/bigger than the brightest star I usually see at night and it caught my attention because it was very out of place and because it was right around horizon level, just above the tree line. Then I realized it was too bright to be a star and I focused on it for a minute or two. Then I noticed that it began to very slowly move in a steady pace to the left.

That’s when I knew it wasn’t a star and that it was actually right there hovering over the ground. I estimate that it was perhaps maybe only half a mile away and I’m not good at measuring height but if I had to guess: anywhere between 200-600 feet above the ground but it was lower than any aircraft would normally be at. As it moved it went behind the trees.

I was waiting for it to clear that set of trees and thought I would see it appear again on the other end but it never reappeared. It seemed the area it was hovering over was a bit to the south of the 108th & Giles intersection. There is a Kum & Go gas station right there.

And the area is pretty vacant as far as buildings is concerned (a view businesses in the area) but there are lots of large open fields between my building and that intersection (so not too many street lights). I kept watching for another 10min. or so hoping to see it reappear but nothing.

So since it didn’t reappear it left me to believe that it had landed. I had to get back to my desk and I walked away from the window at about 04:50am. It didn’t seem to behave the way a helicopter would.

Why would a helicopter be perfectly stationary for about 1-2min. plus I don’t know how long it was there and stationary before I had noticed it and if it were a helicopter that landed you would think it would have picked up the people to be airlifted to a hospital if it was a medical helicopter? I believe police choppers don’t land either but use their search lights to point out the suspect to ground units. There were no search lights coming from this thing, it was just a bright shiny light that was stationary and then started to move and then seemed to vanish for good.

I probably wouldn’t have been able to hear any sound if there were any because our building is quite soundproof. The sky was clear and I did see the stars and if I remember correctly the moon was out too. There could be a conventional explanation for it I suppose but I don’t know what it was.

It would be nice to find out if there were any helicopters flying that night over the city of La Vista. P.S.

Since I didn't actualize see the white light land on the ground because the trees blocked my view i'm not checking the box for "The Object landed" but it is still a possibility that it did. Afterall where else would it have gone?.

We live by the air base and see planes, satellites, helicopters etc. all the time never saw anything like this it was amazing.

Light seen in Beatrice, NE changing colors, moving rapidly and producing two others. On the night of the 11th of August, four friends and myself went out to the country to watch the meteor shower. Around 11:30 we noticed a blinking star.

Brighter than all the others. We watched it for a bit then noticed different colors being displayed. We recorded red, blue, orange, green and white.

It would dim down then get extremely bright. As it got brighter it would shoot down about two or three inches then proceed to do what I can only describe as loop-de-loops. We watched this object for a good 4 hours before we left.

We also noticed that there were moments when the object would become red, extremley bright, and then turn into three in the shape of a triangle. The two extra lights would then be sucked into the one, then proceed to dim down again. The object acts as if it were a star when any aircraft passed in its direction by dimming down, not blinking and being stationary.

The five of us then left to drop of the other three observers that were pres! ent. The driver and I then went to a friends house to tell him we had seen something strange but needed him to come with us to justify our experience. We then took him out to where we were and told him to just look at the 'star'.

He then asked myself and the driver if it was moving. We asked what he saw and he described to us everything that we had observed earlier. Might I note that no druga or alchohol were involved.

The observers that i was with including myself are all very credible people. Tonight will be the seventh day in a row that others as well as myself have seen this object.

Yellow spheres over Ogallala My husband and I were sitting on our deck watching the fire off their fireworks tonight and the first sphere we saw we thought was part of the fireworks but we noticed it never burned out or fell to the ground but stayed in the sky and traveled east to west in the southern sky. About one to two minutes later we spotted another sphere traveling in the same direction at the same altitude and speed. We followed it as far as we could but them lost it in the tree line.

They were both yellow speres, no sound, and traveled at the speed of a small plane. We live close to the airport and we know the what small planes coming in to land look like and these we not planes. They were very bright, no flashing lights, just a yellow spheres.

We have seen these before but have never seen them flying so low or so slow.

The object was moving abnormally, with orange rectangular lights around the sides of it that went dim and then very bright. When my girlfriend and i were out on her third floor apartment balcony watching fireworks on the horizon, we noticed a circular object fly into view, moving back and forth, then stopping, hovering, high above the interstate, then moving away and disappearing very quickly. About 5 minutes later, it reappeared, moving back and forth, then hovering for approximately 10 minutes above the same part of the interstate before quickly disappearing into the sky.

The object had rectangular orange lights around the sides of it, moving in a circular motion, that appeared to go dim and then very bright, almost looking like an orange star. We had a chance to examine it enough that there were no red blinking or white lights on it, as we normally see on a helicopter or airplane, it was flying much lower than airplanes we had previously seen flying over this area, and it wasn't moving in a way a helicopter would, as in circling an area.

Sorry - false alarm; the bright orange light I saw was just a flare. Sorry, but what I reported earlier tonight (within 30 minutes of the event) was apparently just a very steady-burning flare. I saw another bright orange light later that evening and the second one had a visible parachute that took it drifting in the same general direction as the first light.

The first event occurred at dusk and I guess the lighting was such that a parachute couldn't be seen at that time.

I saw a bright orange light rise up from near ground-level, hover a minute, and then ascend up into the sky. I was just thinking back to a year ago when a UFO was seen over Lincoln, and looking out my window, thinking that the only way I would see one tonight is if one was to appear right outside my window. At that moment, I saw a bright orange light ascending slowly in the sky, as if it just arose from near ground-level.

I couldn't see it clearly through my bedroom window as it rose higher, so I dashed over to my porch, which offers only a small patch of clear sky to view. The object hovered right in the small patch of sky at about 15 degrees over the horizon, while fireworks were going off far below it. It was a bright orange light that was mostly steady but occasionally would pulsate.

As I thought about going inside to get a camera, the object began to move away and within a minute or less, it rose up into the sky and disappeared. During the entire sighting, I could hear no sound from the object, even when I went out on my porch to view it.
