Bright light traveling southeast over downtown Omaha. Thought maybe it was a Chinese lantern but it stopped and reversed course and then just disappeared. No sound.

There was a plane in the same general area and it was traveling about twice the speed of the plane.

Boomarang object over 100 feet long and silently glided past my house;no lights;no sounds Got out of my car and looked up at the stars and noticed a dark shadow from the corner of my eye and when I looked straight at it I could hear no sound or lights, but as it was going by I could see a little relection of city lights on it and it appeared to be between 1 and 3 thousand feet up and it resembled a sort of boom a rang and it appeared to be over 100 feet long. I could not believe what I was seeing and I seriously was freaking the ((deleted)) out! As it glided thru the sky it made no noise and I followed it for about 15 seconds and it went beyond the big trees in my back yard. and I lost it in my sights.

looked like a spotlight was turned on in a round object like an ornament. My mother and I were driving home and where passing through Bladen, when we spotted this huge glowing ball of light. It changed from green flashed, green flashed, then went to red before it finely disappeared.

There were almost no clouds in the sky but when we looked at it, it appeared to be going behind thick cloud cover. I looked on Google Earth trying to prove to myself that "WE" were not just seeing thing but nothing came up. I hope Someone else also has seen this.

gray, low flying V object with no lights, no sound on a clear night with no clouds Wife noticed something in the sky. Husband noticed and thought it was a flock of birds. But it was not.

No noise. No lights. It appeared one side was longer than the other.

It also appears the 'wings' were somewhat transparent. The color was gray with the middle being a lighter gray. It was going from N to S approximately 150 feet high.

It appeared the speed of an airplane on approach. Husband worked at the airbase and it was not like anything he had seen before.

Diamond shape 4 strobe colored Object moving north to south At 11:45 PM myself and 2 others were on the front balcony we all of a sudden i decided to look up to notice several strobe like lights flashing. I alerted the others as we all 3 witnessed 4 color of lights moving as a strobe in a diamond shape with the following three colors, solid white with red yellow and blue colors blinking like a strobe all around it. The object was stationary for 5 minutes then moved left to right for 2 1/2 hours then took off east.

First seen in broad daylight. October 6, 2013 -Metallic triangle shaped object over Lincoln Nebraska. Spotted at 5:00 pm and is still in the sky as of 8:23 pm.

Red, blue, white and green colors can be seen with binoculars.

Silver, cylindrical object seen over Omaha skies I saw a cylindrical object over the western portion of Omaha, NE on Tuesday, October 2, 2013 at approximately 13:55 hours. It was silver in color, looked to be shaped like a cylinder and hovered in the sky for about two minutes or so and then it disappeared. It looked like it was a large object, even though it was probably 5-6 miles away.

I can't say how long it was actually there since I didn't notice it until I was driving on Dodge Street heading west back to my office. It could have been there for a much longer time. But it was definitely there and then gone.

brigth lite over work showed co workers at work today we saw over head a bright glow over head straight up I went and got more co workers to check it out. than at5:00pm one of my coworker had a pair of binoculars and I looked at it was round with vertical lines I don't think it was a balloon it was there to long and clouds were moving fast this was above the clouds but close enough to focus in on it.

The sphere is best described as a perfect pearl. At approximately 18:00 hrs I received a phone call from a friend and neighbor of mine, asking me if I had a telescope. I asked why and he replied that he was observing a UFO.

I told him I didn't have a telescope but I did have a high powered rifle scope. He said he had been home a short while from work but his family had been observing this UFO since noon. I told him I would grab my rifle scope and take a look and call him back.

I then proceeded to the front deck of my home to investigate. I located the sphere with my naked eye, then located it in my rifle scope. Upon focused and magnified acquisition of the object it was clear to me that I was observing something completely out of this world.

The next 15 minutes was very intense! I needed to find a way to photograph this object. My first problem was holding the scope steady enough so I could show my wife. I brain stormed briefly,and remembered I had a laser level kit in the garage that contained a tripod.

While acquiring the tripod I also grabbed some automotive grade masking tape to afix the scope to the tripod. After successfully affixing the rifle scope to the tripod I needed to elevate the front of the scope to approximately 75 degrees angle of elevation. I then grabbed a small end table from inside the house and elevated two of the legs on the tripod.

This work yielded a steady picture in the scope suitable for viewing. The following steps included showing my wife and calling my neighbor back and telling him to come over to see this thing magnified. My neighbor showed up promptly and took a look.

He then informed my wife and I that he had called relatives 450 miles away to the west and they too were observing this same sphere. I thought to myself, I have to try and photograph this object under magnification of this rifle scope. I figured if I could see this object clearly by positioning myself to the proper eye relief of the scope maybe I could get my iPhone to auto focu! s at the same position and yield a quality photo.

This was no ! easy tas k but I pushed on and got the job done. After taking many pics, I had at least 3 in focus photos of the sphere. My best verbal description of the object is simple, it looked like a perfect pearl with the light of the sun reflecting on the left side of it.

The accompanying photos should speek for themselves. The position of the object was eleven o clock, north being the 12 o' clock position. The elevation angle was approximately 75 degrees.

((NUFORC Note: The object looks to us to be a lens flare, caused by reflection in the rifle scope. However, the witness assures us that he saw the object with his naked eye. We are awaiting other reports, in particular, the report from the people who were located 450 miles from the first witness.

Edge of something glowing orange and dripping molten metal with a right angle to an orange rectangle that quickly faded. I exited my church after choir practice and crossed the parking lot to my car. Up in the sky, less than 100 feet off the ground I saw what I thought was an electrical wire on fire.

A long line, maybe 30’ long glowed orange like it was very hot and it was dripping what looked like molten metal. The long line took a right angle and near the corner was a glowing orange rectangle. The line cooled and disappeared as well as the rectangle.

The area this appeared in was just to the south of the parking lot between a strip mall and a neighborhood, over a green space. I went over to church a few days later and looked over that area and there were no wires or anything in the sky above that green space. I fell like the molten metal that dripped off the hot edge may still be located on the ground within that green space because the grass is just cut but never bagged up.

Until now I’ve never known who to report this to, but I’ve told a number of people what I saw that night.

Round bright white light, moving slowly and effortlessly to the west, hovered in one area for 45min left in opposite direction At approximately 210 am, a few thousand feet up in the sky, a round non-flashing bright light (no other colors noted besides white) was moving at a slow pace towards the western sky (slower than a one pilot plane). No other bright stars were present at this time. The object seemed to hover around that area only to move only back and forth maybe 100ft? It would move discretely from north and then move again to the south but never making any big move.

It made no sense when it would get dim or brighter either? It could be stationary for a time and get dimmer then all of a sudden get brighter. (Like when a plane puts its landing gear light on.) It appeared to be poised effortlessly for 45minutes in that same area only it would dim and then brighten again.

At one point in time there seemed to be a series of flashes taking place outside the object, this lasted only a couple seconds (like picture flashes from a camera). Also, when the object was dim the shape seeme! d like a teardrop shape? At approximately 250am the object had moved eastward and was out of sight from my standpoint.

Low flying, very large diamond shaped flashing yellow light moving extremely fast to the east Driving to work on hwy 34 west between bradshaw and Hampton, witnessed a bright yellow outlined object, diamond in shape flashing in the sky. I witnessed it flash about four times, moving very quickly to the east with each flash. Disappeared or became outside of my view at that point.

A plane would not be able to get out of view so quickly. The lines were very clean and bright. May have been similar to two interlocked triangles, very large in size.

My husband,friend and I were at the sandy beach camping site and we saw a bright flying object. It was flying low and very bright. After a few minutes a second one one followed going the same route.

Then there was a third. They did not make noise but the flew steady across the sky against the wind. Could not tell what they were.

I was sitting on my friends porch when I noticed a few small bright flashes of light, about the size of stars, out of the corner of my eye near the milky way. They seemed randomly timed and spaced, but in the same general area. As I was observing this phenomenon, I noticed a dimly lit orange object approaching from extremely high speed from the north, flying directly south.

It was approximately 20,000 feet in altitude and moving approximately four or five times the speed of "normal" jet. I would estimate it's length to be 500 feet. It was huge.

It travelled from horizon to horizon in about eight seconds, and appeared to curve towards the east as it left. It was shaped like a four leaf clover. with the two outside "leaves" approximately twice as big as the front and back leaves.

The front and back leaves were more elongated, the outside more round. The object had a faint orange glow with dimmer half circle areas on the outside leaves. It made absolutely no sound.

Two jets flew over in the same path in formation at the same altitude approximately five minutes later. I could distinctly hear them, and I also noted that they seemed extremely slow and small compared with the orange object. I noticed much more air traffic than normal in the area for about an hour after the event.

I looked directly overhead and saw large asterix * shaped yellow large light move horizontally I was looking straight up into the night sky and it was black .then I had this overwhelming feeling of love coming over me--a large asterix * type of yellowish light came out of nowhere and began traveling west from where I am. It made no noise but was twinklng somewhat.

It was very large and it moved horizontally. It lasted about 4minutes and faded into the distance.

I am sure I was not the only person to notice these objects out of the thousand or so people watching the fireworks display. I live in central Nebraska, slightly east of North Platte. Last night on the 4th of July 2013 my small town had their fireworks celebration.

As I was watching the fireworks, I noticed several red lights that at first I thought were embers, but they were too high and traveling at a high rate of speed way up in the air. I noticed these strange lights about 4 separate times over the course of the fireworks show. Several groups of 3 or 4 of various sizes together and two single objects.

They were a bright red color and looked like an air plane would look up in the air except for they seemed to be traveling much faster than an aircraft usually does and they only had a red color to them. Airplanes usually have several colored lights on them that blink. These craft were red in color only and the light did not blink, it stayed the same intensity.

I was thinking that they must be meteorites or something and then later on that night I listened to the C2C show on YouTube and heard the report that people are seeing these strange red lights in the sky all over the country. I wish I had taken my camera because they were very plain to see and it was a clear, cloudless night here in Nebraska.

20+ reddish gold orbs floating from the south of community to the north. Was out in backyard with husband, watching fireworks when we witnessed a small reddish-gold orb crossing from the south to the north. At first, we thought it was a firework but as the fireworks went out, this orb kept moving and the light did not go out.

These orbs appeared to be round, floating, no sound, then as we kept watching, we seen more, on average, 3-5, they were heading from the south to the north of our community, they appear to float. At one time, we witnessed 7 orbs to the north of the community and stayed approx 20 minutes. Then they just disappeared, then we would see one or two more showing up and heading to the north and to the west of the community.

Small orange glowing circular objects floating during the fireworks show. There were many circular objects floating from south to north during fireworks. They were glowing an orange shade and were moving quickly and silently.

We recorded the shapes on a cell phone and a small camera. They would pop up from trees in the distance and simply fly away. Beforehand there was a small airplane flying directly over my building several times.

We did not see the plane during the orange lights. One orange circle floated very close to us but was still far enough away that we couldnt determine what it was. It was unlike anything we had seen before.
