7 fireball orb type object over N TX on 12/31/13 On Wednesday night 12/31/2013 around 10:00 pm CDT, my girlfriend and I saw a series of 7 objects in the sky. It started with these 2 orange/red balls of light/orbs going south to north in Denton County Texas. The objects stayed at the same altitude and were flying right next to each other, appearing to be in formation.
I did not see where they appeared from but we did watch them travel across the sky over about 1 and a half minutes before disappearing. About 2-3 minutes later, 2 more appeared from the south heading on the same path. Again taking about 1-2 minutes before disappearing.
One was on the same course as the first two, and the other headed down and out of sight behind some trees. I could not tell exactly how far away it was but seemed to be about a half mile to a mile to the west of my location. I was able to get a video of that one on my phone, but it was pretty dark so there isn’t any perspective to the video.
After the first 4, I went inside and got my 2 sons to come out and they witnessed the last 3 objects we saw. These all came one at a time. Took about the same amount of time to travel across the sky and all disappeared around the same area as the first 3 that were going south to north.
They all seemed to be following the same flight path and appeared about 2-3 minutes apart. We waited and watched for more but that was all we saw that night. This all took place over a period of about 15-20 minutes.
I have no idea what they may have been, but the consensus among us all was that they were not any sort of aircraft we had ever seen. Nor were they any type of firework. I am happy to send the video but doubt it would provide any clarification.

Orange lights and dark objects over League City, Texas. My family was driving home from dinner. My wife noticed a couple of orange light objects in the sky.
I slowed down and the pulled the car over and we all watched. Two or three orange lights moved across the sky in a manner faster than an aircraft would but not too fast. The lights moved toward each other and then one passed the other one.
They then seemed to stay in about the same relative location, what appeared flame like came out of both of them, they both moved directly upward until they could no longer be seen. During this same time a couple of much larger, dark geometric shaped objects moved across the sky much lower. They appeared to have mass and thickness.
These objects had no lights on them only appeared visible by the night sky. The dark objects moved in the same direction as the lights from the southeast to the northwest. The dark objects moved at a steady speed across the sky.

Orange balls in the sky. My wife and I were walking the dog through her parents' neighborhood in Spring, TX, at approximately 6:25 PM Central time, when we witnessed groupings of orange balls flying through the sky at what appeared to be ~2000 ft AGL. At the time, we saw several commercial aircraft at the same heigh or lower.
Her parent's home is on the flightpath for George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The balls appeared to be flying at a similar altitude and heading as the airplanes. They moved fairly quickly, faster than the jets on the flightpath, but not erratically.
They did not have any blinking nav lights like an aircraft, and travelled from the Southeast to the Northwest on a line that would line up closely with George Bush to Hooks Airport (KDWH). The lights did not bob, change direction, or otherwise act erratically. They seemed to lose intensity as they passed overhead.
There seemed to be a slight twinkle as well. Similar to a glowing ball passing through the sky.

Approx. 10 amber colored objects flying in formation in a clear night sky. Several amber colored objects were flying in a pattern, observed behind some pine trees at first, very near us in a clear night sky.
Total number of objects approximately 10. Elevation maybe 5000 feet. At first we thought it was fireworks or maybe light poles from a sporting event.
However, as we passed the pine trees it was obvious there was no arena and no sporting event and it was not fireworks falling from the sky. Instead the objects were slowly moving away from us, staying in formation, moving in a north to northwest direction. Each object seemed to have several lights on it, all seemed amber colored.
Exact shape of each object not clear. There were three of us in the car, all seeing the same thing. We tried to stop and get a picture, but there were a of couple light poles in the parking lot we pulled into, and the white light from those poles flooded the sky and washed out the amber lights.
Meanwhile the amber objects were fading into the distance. Maybe 2 minutes total time had elapsed from our first observation.

Saucer Craft moving above highway. I was driving home from picking up a meal for the family. I was driving on IH 37 South just prior to reaching Loop 410.
I noticed an object moving from right to left very slowly. the object was saucer shape with a dome on the center. The color of the sides was a pale yellow and the dome was a lighter color.
The object moved slowly and seemed parallel then tilted to the left approximately 60 degrees and continued slowly. I kept sight of the object and it disappeared for approximately two seconds and reappeared further south approximately 500 ft away and it also dropped elevation approximately 300 ft. The object continued slowly at a parallel motion for three seconds then disappeared again and I could not locate.
I stopped on side of road to locate for approximately 1 minute then proceeded home after I could not locate the object.

We took our dog out around 7:45, when I noticed a bright light in the Western sky. I go out several times at night and I have never seen a star there this past month, mostly due to city lights. I went and got our binoculars and observed through them that the light was rapidly flashing multiple colors.
Red, yellow, blue, and green. It has not moved yet at 8:11 pm. I am going back outside to watch it.

1200-mph dart silhouette seen for 6-seconds. My first ever UFO sighting occurred from Sylvania Drive, near its intersection with Sinclair Avenue, at about 8:00 pm on December 11, 2013, during a walk. The night was cold, the sky was clear and there was a day-past first quarter, or fat half-crescent moon.
I saw the object through an opening between some trees across Dixon Branch Greenbelt Park. The sighting was a brief glimpse of a far-off, dark, silent, dart-shaped silhouette against the clear luminous night sky. Because the object appeared to be so sharp, I assume that I was looking at an edge-on view of a triangle, but cannot prove this.
Initially, I thought that the shadow was a swept-wing fighter accelerating upward in my direction at a supersonic speed. It was climbing toward me from the southwest – note that ALL of my view of this first UFO was along a straight line approaching from the southwest of me. The craft apparently moved twice the speed of a commercial jet and traveled about two miles in six seconds, both estimates, when put together, gave its speed at about 1,200-mph.
There were commercial jetliners visible to the far north and south, providing a direct comparison. The silhouette appeared to be generally airplane-sized at 2 to 4-miles distance, but was silent despite the velocity – a jet interceptor would have been on afterburner and audible at that speed and range. The UFO first caught my attention when it was about 35-degrees elevation and it disappeared at about 50-degrees elevation.
The first quarter or half-crescent moon was at about 60-degrees elevation, also to the southwest. I roughly estimate that the silhouette first appeared to me about 4-miles away, possibly over the Deep Ellum area, and it disappeared when 2-miles closer, approaching White Rock Lake. It climbed from 2-miles altitude at Deep Ellum to 3-miles altitude at White Rock Lake.
If the climb and direction were backtracked, its original ‘takeoff’ may have been the Cockrell Hill areas, which are 8-miles to the southwest. Although it was getting closer to me, I lost it in the half moon’s glare and could not pick it up on the other side, which would have been almost directly overhead. The thing seemed phantom-like and eerie, and I was surprised to see it.
The object appeared to be going on a straight course from a lower altitude to a higher destination and I recall chuckling to myself that, “It must be carrying some cargo.” I did not think much about this first sighting because it was so distant, vague and impersonal, and did not make a report or discuss it with anyone. However, I did begin accessing some websites and buying various books about UFOs, for the first time in my 73-years.
In addition, I began scanning the night sky, looking for a repeat performance. ((NUFORC Note: One of two high-quality reports from the same witness, who also included graphics. The other report is for a sighting near Dallas on June 13, 2014, at 11:00 p.

Blue and green circular light seen above texas ice storm During a trail hike at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve during some of the peak hours of the big ice storm that hit the US this passed weekend, Me, my girlfriend, and a friend witnessed a larger circular light appear in the clouds about a mile East of us. The size of the circle must have been near a quarter mile, it lit up the entire sky. The light first flashed blue then green then cut off like someone turned off a light switch.
The light was clearly coming from above/behind the storm clouds. We continued to walk in shock and saw the light once again a few miles further East about 30minutes later. Absolutely no other visible objects in the sky.

Large white orb with glow around it in south west Texas sky. As I was backing into my driveway I noticed what I thought was a seasonal planet that was just unusually close to Earth, it was very large, close to three times the size of the North Star for reference but with a glow around it as If it were in fog perhaps. I blew it off until I walked outside a little later and it was gone.
It was very clear out which why I found the glow around it to be odd. The light was fixed without any movement, round in shape; and very white in color. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Peter, When I saw the object in question I was facing south west, what's very curios about what I saw is the fact that my girlfriend of many years works for a major airline, one of my best friends is a professional pilot; and I live near one of the largest airports in the word so I know what an approach light looks like.
Good stuff!!! Sent from my iPhone ((END ADDENDUM)).

Intense bright white light that turned into cigar-shaped object seen in daylight outside of Austin, TX On 12/03/13 at approximately 10 a.m., I saw a round, intensely bright white light in the north sky.
The sky was blue, no clouds. I was at the end of our driveway, so I walked back to my husband and jokingly asked “is that a UFO?” By the time I turned around, the object had turned west and changed to a cigar shaped object that we could not identify. My husband went in the house for his binoculars.
The object made no sound, was moving fairly slowly, and was too high up to be a helicopter. An airplane was also in the sky to the east and south of, and higher in the sky than, the object, moving west. When my husband looked at the object with his binoculars, he said it was like an elongated oval, with a thinner elongated oval above it but not seeming to be attached to it.
He did not see any lights on it, and said the color was off-white. Then all of a sudden it disappeared. The longitude/latitude of the sighting was 30°15’05.
04”N / 98°03’47.86”W and the object was probably 2000 ft. high or more.

I was driving on the highway when I noticed a rather large green 'star' in the sky. They started as small green balls and traveling quite fast, made a path straight to the earth. It looked like a ball of green fire that got bigger as it got closer to the earth.
The color went from a darker green to a very vibrant green. As soon as the larger object went into the horizon, the second one came out. That one was not as big.
As of right now there are no warnings about a meteor shower in austin texas.

Bright Red Orange Sphere Gliding at Tree Level It was 8 pm, I was in my car driving down a usually busy city street that's in between two major intersections. But at this time, it was late on a Sunday evening. My husband was following directly behind me in his car.
There were few cars on the street along with us at this time. This short stretch of neighborhood area has few street lights. An object caught my eye on the right side of the street.
It was a bright/glowing red orange object that was gliding at tree level. It crossed our path. I got to witness it up close as it crossed right in front of me.
The only way I can describe it, is that looking out my windshield from inside, it was about the size of a large car. The object was glowing red from within and had a bright colorful haze around it. It seemed to be in the shape of a tear drop sphere but it was so bright.
I would've gotten a good recording if I had had my phone out. I slowed down and rolled my window down so that I could point out! the object to my husband. It made no sound as it glided straight across.
I pulled over to the first parking lot I found and I was able to watch it until it disappeared. This definitely is a populated area that I witnessed it in. It was coming from an area that is somewhat isolated but going towards the highly populated area.
It was not a fireball with a tail and it was not falling from the sky. It was gliding across the sky at a low level and moderate speed. I only saw one object but I kept looking around to see if I could see anything else.
When I got home, my husband confirmed that he too had seen the object.

bright mutlicolored moving light in the sky. I go to my community park called Magnum, and I have been noticing these weird lights in the sky. There is this one bright light that appears in the sky every other night.
I have a feeling it is not a plane or a star because this light tends to move a lot. It brights up so bright, that looks like it could be the northern star. Then all of a sudden the lights get really dim then seconds later it gets really bright, sometimes it turns blue other people have seen this.
It kind of looks like if it has lights on it turning around in circles. I really have to idea what it could be and I am determined to find out what the bright moving light really is. About 4 days ago approximately around 8:00 pm , above a tall tree there was this big ball of light that looked like it was falling from the sky but it looked so close.
My boyfriend was with me and as soon as I saw it I told him to look because I wanted to make sure I wasn't seeing anything. When it appeared it looked as if it was a huge shooting star but couldn't have been because after I seen the big bright light that it flashed it disappeared that's when I told my boyfriend and when he looked up he saw it brighten up again right when it was passing the tree that I had seen it above. This isn't the first time I have experienced sightings of weird, strange lights in the sky.
I just really would like for others to know that theres unexplainable lights in the sky. Whenever I get the chance I will make sure I record or take pictures to prove what I am seeing. ((NUFORC Note: Possible sighting of Venus?? PD)).

3 bright lights hovering soundless in Lometa, Texas, seen by father and daughter. My 13 year old daughter and I were walking to camp from the deer stand. It was a very clear quiet night.
To the south we saw 3 very bright lights appear to be hovering high in the sky. We did not hear a sound of any kind. No engine or jet sounds.
The 3 lights were side by side. The lights appeared to hover for 3 or 4 minutes the veer away from us. At that time the lights appeared to change to a more triangle shape.
What we saw was not a plane. It did not have the natural characteristics of an airplane or helicopter. And as stated it did not create any sound.
This is my 3rd similar sighting in Lometa County and my first time to report it.

Strange lights sighted and then airplane with no lights sighted. I spotted this with my naked eyes while looking for ison. It was east south east of the city.
At first I chalked it off as an aircraft but I got my binoculars and upon further examination I could see many colors. Sort of like a cops lights on but there are many more colors. I set my binocs on the side of my truck to steady them and could still see many colors.
Blue, red, green, violet, amber and possibly yellow all rotating around a central point. I'm watching it now and it is not moving. Other than the lights.
It has maintained its position for a few hours now. Also their is a blacked out airplane flying circles overhead. The local airport is across town maybe 20 miles.
I thought it was a helicopter but it is an airplane.
