Bright Huge Object Changing Shapes and Colors At apx 1:15 a.m. on 12-9-90, I was in the den with my 15 month old granddaughter who was sleeping in a playpen.

I arose from the sofa to slip back to bed when a bright reddish orange triangle shaped object caught my attention in the night sky. The blinds were open on the patio door and the bright light was first visible in the top upper left corner of the door as the bright object became descending toward me. At first I thought it was a falling airplane but realized it was a UFO.

My glasses were in the bedroom so I turned and started yelling, "There's something in the sky!" My husband and I met in the bedroom door and I told him to look out the patio door as I groped around in the dark for my glasses. When I got back to the den, my granddaughter was on her knees in the playpen looking out the door where my husband was also standing and looking. The blinds over the double windows on the left wall were also open (we lived in a rural area with few trees and no outside lights).

Through those windows, this huge object, changing colors, making a droning noise, was rolling about 30 ft off the ground and apx 20 ft from the house. It was spectacular! I thought it was crashing. The shape of the object had changed from triangular to cylindrical but was all ablur with the changing colored lights and the rolling motion.

It went directly behind our house and three small white planes enterred it from different directions, very fast like bees. As it cleared the small hill behind our property, it shot a bright green star at us that got larger as it came closer then seemed to just fade out. We marveled over the event for a few minutes, and surprisingly enough, went back to bed and to sleep (including the baby) and didn't mention it again for approximately forty hours.

This was reported in the Dallas Morning News on December 10, 1990, as a Soviet booster rocket plunging to earth. However, their archived story is somewhat different from the story that was actually printed in the newspaper. We witnessed the event in Canton, Texas which is fifty-five miles east of Dallas.

The object was first seen in the southwest coming east then turned and headed due west towards Dallas. It appeared to be propelled and not out of control. It was an unforgetable experience!.

Cousin and Boyfriend on the way home from work early in the morning saw a triangular craft that totally scared them both as it was just above them. My cousin and her boyfriend were on the way home from work at Chili's. While traveling down the highway she said "wow the moon is bright tonight" As they got closer the light she soon relized it was not the moon and thought maybe it was a chopper.

Soon they got close enough to relize that it was not a chopper but some kind of triangular craft with 3 lights on each corner and a red light in the center. This craft was no more than 100-300 feet off the ground and she said the lights were moving all over the ground as if searching for something. This craft was just above them and to the left over a field.

They could see it clearly above them because he had T-Tops of his vehicle. She was screaming to drive faster because she knew it was nothing she had ever seen before. It had no sound and she side it was huge like size of a football field.

When she got home she told knowone until the next day. She thought about calling the police but did not. She grew up in a strict Baptist home and these such things just dont happen.

Until that moment. I have always believed her becuase she is my cousin #1 and she had no reason to lie about it. I checked on materials on the subject and found that many people thought the moon was bright on first observations of a UFO.

She also spoke to my uncle who was a pilot with a major airline. He really had nothing to say about it.but a few weeks later unsolved mysteries ran a show about german police officers that tracted a craft across there city.

They had it documented on tape there conversations between all officers. The craft they showed on the TV show is exactly what she said she had seen.

UFO seen over Austin's Robert Muller Airport After a monday night football game, I stepped out on to the porch of my friends house which was just across the street from the city's international airport. I looked up into the night sky to see what if any stars I could see when I saw the following: From my vantage point I could only see the shape of a square bottom surface about seventy five feet by seventy five feet and nine circles in a 3 x 3 grid. Each circle was protruding from the bottom like a squared edged donuts about 5 feet deep.

All were the same size and equally spaced apart. The object seemed to be floating above the south edge of the airport at about one hundred to one hundred fifty feet. It moved very slowly across the sky about five to ten miles per hour toward the west.

The object had no lights at any point during my viewing. The only way I was able to see any details at all was due to the light reflected from the surface. I felt no magnetic or electrical fields, but I was never directly under the object.

As I watched the object float by, I moved to get a better view, it never picked up its pace or altered its altitude. I heard a door open and saw my friend come outside to say good bye to me, I ran up to her and pulled her into the street to show her. She did not see what I saw because as I showing her the object, it became blocked by the trees.

I ran futher down the street with her in tow and although I could still see the object, it was hard for her to see it as it had no lights. I ran us back to the house and jumped in my car and tried to follow it but as it was not following a street it soon was gone from my sight as well. I can give no reason why this airport would be of interest because as of now, it's closed down and a new airport is in operation.

The only US Air Force base was just a reserve station at the time and shut down soon after Desert Storm. It became Austin's new airport. I finally writing about this because I've never seen anyone else describe a square object, and I thought someone else may have seen something similar.

It has always made me wonder exactly what it was that I saw. I know I'll never know but the experience was awesome. I keep looking up in the night sky to see what I can find.

As for me, I have spent most of my life around US Air Force bases. My father served and I served as well. For the first 28 years of my life I lived on or near a base.

I watched SR-71's lift off from a California base, U-2's from a Florida base, I was on the Cape to watch a Shuttle launch, seen countless air shows, and once I saw a F-117 take off from a Texas base in broad day light. The F-117's profile was so strange I thought I was seeing my second UFO, but then it banked I saw the wing shape. My job during active duty was in electronics and communication devices, during my reserve years I loaded aircraft, C-130's to C-5's.

I like to think that I know aircraft, I've built many models and continue to keep up with new aircraft design, as best as an ex-military man can. Generally I know what I'm looking at when I look up into the sky but on this occassion I did not have one clue. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

Silver, silent, stationary cigar object Walking south on hwy 5 north of FM 290, I saw a silver, smooth, cigar shaped object just beneath the rising sun. It was shifted to the left of the sun and just beneath. It seemed to be as wide as the sun, but closer.

It was huge and silent. I thought it was on optical illusion from the sun rise, but it did not move with the sun. The sky was clear, no clouds that I recall.

I was disturbed and looked away. I looked back in 10 minutes or so, and the object was gone. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the incident is approximate.

VERY BRIGHT LIGHTS FROM UP ABOVE. I WAS ABOUT ELEVEN OR TWELVE YEARS OLD, AND I WAS STANDING OUTSIDE IN THE DRIVEWAY. MY MOTHER WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF ME WITH HER BACK TO ME.

SHE WAS IN THE PROCESS OF PICKING UP SOME LEAVES THAT SHE HAD LEFT IN THE DRIVE WAY EARLIER. OUT OF NOWHERE THIS BRIGHT LIGHT GLOWS FROM BEHIND ME SO I TURN AND LOOK, AND RIGHT ABOVE THE HUGE TREE NEXT TO OUR HOUSE I SEE TWO LERGE SETS OF LIGHTS. THEY WERE ALMOST LIKE HEADLIGHTS ON A CAR BUT THEY WERE TOO BIG.

IT WASN'T A HELICOPTER BECAUSE THERE WAS ABSOLUTE SILENCE. I COULDN'T EVEN HEAR THE RUSLE OF LEAVES AS MY MOM PICKED THEM UP. IT WAS LIKE I WAS IN A TRANCE.

AS MY MOM BENT OVER TO PICK UP THE LEAVES THE LIGHTS CAME DOWN CLOSER TO ME. BUT WHEN SHE STOOD UP TO TURN TO ME THEY ASCENDED. I ASKED HER IF SHE HAD SEEN THE LIGHT AND SHE SAID SHE HADN'T AND DISMISSED MY MYSTERIOUS LIGHTS AS JUST A HELICOPTER.

7 points of light in the sky, far away, circling each other, then fading away. I lived, at the time, in an apartment complex on Jackson Keller, overlooking West Avenue. I lived on the 3rd floor of a building that was situated on a hill, so I estimate I was about 50 feet above the ground, with the treetops just below my balcony, facing due east.

I know because the sun would rise directly in front of me. Off my balcony is an empty field and next to that is a local private school and a residential area. I owned a telescope, so I often would be on my balcony at night looking at stars, and I was familiar with the positions of constellations and planets, knowing their relative positions at any given time at night, or season.

This one night I was on the balcony, and decided to train my telescope on a portion of the sky that I often did. As I looked for a bright object to observe, I noticed a perfectly circular cluster of "stars" that I hadn't noticed before. I knew it wasn't Plaiedes.

though they were roughly as bright as the stars in that constellation. It was circular, and after realizing I hadn't seen it before, I continued to look at it, and realized the points of light were following each other in a pattern. It was rotating.

After about 30 seconds of watching it, one of the points of light circled the others, then exited the cluster from the center, and accelerated away from the others. Soon after, they all seemed to diminish in brightness until they were all gone. I was certain they were moving, and it wasn't the illusion of movement that one gets when they stare at an object in the sky for a long time.

I have noticed this phenomenon before, and I was careful to make absolutely certain I was not seeing things. I have seen simple satellites or space debris streaking across the sky before, and this behavior was not reminiscent of that. Some time later, I saw an episode of Unsolved Mysteries that featured a couple that had taken a video of the same thing I saw that night.

Large triangular black craft with tiered colored party type lights, Motionless, noiseless over Lake Benbrook, Texas. Heading south on Hwy 377 I witnessed a large, larger by 3X a stealth aircraft, triangle, black in color with tiered colored lights hovering, with no noise, no movement over Lake Benbrook. The lights were red yellow and blue.

I had the feeling that it was a party craft! It felt like whatever or whomever was in that craft was partying. I just sensed that strongly. There were other vehicles going the same direction as I, but none of them stopped or looked at it.

It seemed that I was the only one seeing it! It was about 50 feet from me to the east. It was just over the trees. It was dark and I couldn't see the horizon as the sun set in the west.

I was dumbfounded that no other vehicles seemed to notice it.

It was a very clear night, so I went to do as I always do and climbed onto the roof of my carport to look at the stars with binoculars, when I noticed these little lights in a triangular shape silently gliding through the air over some houses in front of me, but the lights did not seem to be connected to anything solid in between or in the center of them. All I could do was watch in amazement at my very first UFO sighting, too bad I was alone. The object(s) looked to be triangular in shape but in a connect-the-dots sort of way as if there was nothing in between these dots of light, there were just staying in silent formation very low over a group of houses next to mine, and seemed to look as if was being looked at while it was behind something hot.

(like hot roads look like they have water on them on a hot day) Also (maybe just my imagination) I think I saw a vey faint yellowish whispy trail being left by this object as it went and dissapeared through some trees where I finally lost visual contact. The lights on this object all three of them seemed to be some sort of yellow-orange-reddish color.

hovering flashing lights, spotlight shining on my house I and a friend were observing a thunderstorm on the horizon. A red light appeared on the horizon and moved across the sky towards us. As it got closer, it became clear that it was more than one light.

It was a cluster of about 6 to 8 lights, arranged in a roughly circular array, with 4 lights, corresponding to 0, 90, 180, and 270 degrees on the circle, being brighter than the rest. This cluster of lights was flashing in a bizarre way, not in a pattern. It was difficult to discern any physical shape other than the lights, but as it hovered above my house, I estimated its altitude to be about 200 feet.

It made no sound whatsoever, that I could tell. As it stopped above the house, a spotlight shone down from it. At this time, I became frightened and ran into the house, followed closely by my friend.

The craft appeared to hover and then move swiftly either to the left or to the right. Always they returned to the center of where they initially appeared. We eventually got tired of watching this and went inside.

Enormous, oval shaped object, hovering over a field-it had lights that were like no other type of lights I've seen. One night in the early spring of 1990, my younger brother and I were out basically just being teenagers-preparing for a weekend night of underage drinking and cruising around. We had to drive about 12 miles down State Highway 6 to Clifton, Tx.

to get ice for our cooler since no stores were open in our hometown of Valley Mills. On the way back, as our beer was cooling down, something happened that made us totally forget our plans. Between the two towns, as we were driving along, my brother suddenly yelled "What the hell is that???!!!" I looked over towards a very large, open field and saw a sight that was probably the most amazing thing I have ever seen.

To this day, over 10 years later, the details are as sharp and clear in my mind as if it had happened yesterday. The object in the field was of enormous size. It was hovering, probably not even 50 feet above the ground and VERY close to the highway.

I could see the outline of it-oval in shape and dark- colored. It appeared to be larger than a football field and had a single row of lights along its middle. The lights were different colors-amber,red, blue, and green; and almond-shaped.

But it wasn't the colors or shape of them that made an impression on me-it was the light they produced. It seemed that they were made of liquid or possibly a gaseous substance. It is very hard to describe, because they were like no lights I have ever seen.

The closest I can compare them to would be neon; but still very different from neon. They were much brighter than standard neon but they didn't produce a glare-it was more like they were glowing. Something in them seemed to be swirling or moving.

As I said, they were like nothing on this earth. The sighting only lasted a couple of minutes-I slowed and pulled onto the shoulder of the road, transfixed. We both stared in disbelief and fascination until suddenly fear took over and I stepped on the gas and got out of there as fast as I could! We were both so freaked out we forgot about our beer and went straight home.

We told my mom and my grandma about what we had seen; and they wanted to see if it was still there. We drove out to the area, but it was gone. I've told many people about my ufo sighting in the years since; but never reported it officially.

I truly believe that it was not of this planet, and I've often wondered what we might have seen had we stayed a little longer. ((NUFORC Note: Date in March 1990 is approximate. PD)).

Full Report Text:

Siting of a triangular shaped UFO. Austin MUFON Local File#920323-1 SUBJECT: Sighting Of Triangular UFO TYPE OF REPORT: General DATE OF REPORT: May 26, 1992 DATE OF UFO SIGHTING: February 25, 1990 TIME OF UFO SIGHTING: 10:30PM CST PLACE OF SIGHTING: Wimberley, Hays County, Texas, USA LOCAL ELEVATION: Unknown of Ordinary Significance FIELD INVESTIGATOR: * ((name #1 deleted)) ******* SIGHTING ACCOUNT: ((name #2 deleted)) was visiting his parents just west of Wimberley, Texas during the weekend of February 24-25, 1990. The area is farmed out but is also generally wooded near the Blanco Bend River.

Between 10:00 and 10:30pm on the aforementioned date, ((name #2 deleted)) was walking home from a nearby fast food restaurant. He was aware of the time because he had just gotten a new watch recently and was looking at it frequently. It was a quiet, dark and very cool evening with clear skies and bright stars.

The new moon occurred on this night so the sky was moonless. ((name #2 deleted)) happened to look skyward in order to observe some of the constellations, "And there it was!", he said. His first thought was, What the hell is THAT?" He was not afraid, he said, but was amazed.

He had considered himself to be sceptical about UFO's, so the experience was impressive and highly elating. The object was triangular in shape, but it was as if the points of the triangle had been cut off. The cut was perpendicular to the bisection of the anglefor the leading apex, and the other two points were either cut the same as the leading apex or cut perpendicular to the trailing edge of the UFO.

((name #2 deleted)) raised his armto an angle of about 60° as an indication of the initial zenith angle relative to him. He could see only the underside surface of the object and it was glowing faintly orange over it's entirety, like very hot metal. There were no lights and no visible protuberances, but ((name #2 deleted)) did appear to notice what appeared to be geometric shapes on the surface, formed with straight lines.

He believes that these were part of the objects structure, rather than decals (painted). He said that the object was "remarkably similar" to those depicted in the "Unsolved Mysteries" segment on Belgium UFO's. ((name #2)) aproximated the arms-length size of the object to be 4"-4.

5" (or 10-12 times the size of a full moon). He guessed that the object must have been over 1000 feet away, but then indicated that he was not too good with scales or distances. The vehicle was moving very slowly and in a straight line from south to north (from his right to his left) perpendicular to his walking direction.

There was no sound of any kind from the vehicle or otherwise-including no dogs barking. (Any dogs barking would probably have been due to the presence of the object.) He was so taken by the once sighting that he never once gave thought to the possibility that other such objects may have been in the area.

((name #2)) said that he must have watched the object for ten minutes before it passed out of site behind the trees. It never changed speed, direction or altitude during that time. After the object disappeared from view, ((name #2)) continued to stand and look for several minutes, totally awestruck by the experience.

Immediately upon returning home, ((name #2)) called the Hays County Sheriff's Department and reported the sighting. The Dispatcher told him that THERE HAD BEEN OTHER CALLS REGARDING A UFO SIGHTING THAT VERY EVENING! Later, early Monday morning, ((name #2)) called a local Austin FM Radio Station and told a DJ friend of his sighting. After watching the NBC Network's UNSOLVED MYSTERIES program on the Belium UFO's during the late fall of 1991, ((name #2)) called their 800 number and reported his sighting.

In March Of 1992, ((name #2)) called an Austin ************** group who referred him to someone named ((name #3)) (doesn't remember last name). ((name #3)) pointed ((namd #2)) to some woman (name not remembered) who referred him to Austin MUFON. On March 23, 1992, ((name #2)) called Austin MUFON and told Mrs.

***** ****** of his sighting. ((name #4)) provided an outline of the sighting to me on March 28, 1992 at a regular MUFON meeting. Scott also called the Hays County Sheriff's Department to get more information on the UFO sighting.

He was told that they had no record of his report or any other report of the UFO. On May, 25, 1992 at 2:00pm CST, I met with name #2)) at his residence and received his report.

Moving lights My friend ((male name deleted)) and I were on a hunting lease shortly before Operation Desert Storm. ((male name deleted)) came to get me at the stand where I was hunting just after dark in his pickup, all excited about several fast moving llights he had just seen shooting across the sky. I laughed and kidded him a little on our way back to camp.

At the camp I didn’t see what he had witnessed but shortly three lights appeared equal distance from each other perhaps a mile or more. They were stationary. Then they began to change colors and slowly fade out.

Then they appeared once again farther along in the sky but kept the same distance and spacing from each other almost as though they were connected. They did this until they disappeared from view as they moved from left to right. I had worked in aircraft at then General Dynamics at FTW, but these were silent and in no way resembled anything I was familiar with, but felt somehow they were connect to “Desert Storm.

” Occasionally we still mention them in conversation. They began dimly as orange and slowly increased in intensity as they became visible, and likewise decreased when they slowly became invisible.
