Texas UFO Sightings in 2022

Late evening, New Years eve 2022, observed small object flying quickly, very low and almost directly over. On December 31st, 2022, between 10:54pm and 10:57pm, I observed a small round object fly almost directly over me. That evening my wife and I stayed home and were watching the New Year celebrations on television.

We were not drinking alcohol or anything else. My normal routine in the evening, is to walked my dogs several times outside in the front yard, before going to bed. Each time someone or something exits or enters my home, my security cameras record those events.

That night when I left the house with the dogs, the garage camera recorded time was 10:54pm and showed I returned back to the garage at 10:57pm. The dogs were not sensitive to the fireworks going off in the neighborhood that evening, and the four were just running around close to me, doing their business. I stood in the middle of my street looking into the sky.

The weather was very nice, the sky was very clear and I was surprised to see a lot of air traffic. The flight path to Austin's airport is due west from my house and in the evenings it's common to see air traffic coming and going from all directions. I was standing near the end of my driveway, in the middle of the street facing south, when I saw a very distinct red, star shaped light.

It appeared to be traveling north in my direction, still miles away and was at about a 45 degree angle from my perspective. I thought the light was odd for aircraft lights but dismissed it and began walking north, approximately one hundred feet on Speed Horse. I was almost to the T intersection of Speed Horse and Secretariat when I turned and looked back south.

I did not see the red light and it just seemed to have disappeared. Still standing in the road, I turned due west and saw, what appeared to an aircraft, a mile or so away. Its was at around a 45 plus degree angle from my perspective and appeared to be flying north.

It was at this moment while looking up at the plane, that I caught movement to my right, almost directly above me. I immediately turning to my right and began tracking a small dark orange colored object as it flew past and above me. It continued in a northeast direction not more than fifty feet above the ground.

Within a few seconds, it disappeared directly over my neighbors home and into the night sky. Although the sky was clear, there are no street lights in my neighborhood, and my clearest view of its shape and size happened in that first second as it flew over. It appeared to be moving very fast but not so fast that I couldn't track it.

My first thought when I saw it, was that it looked like a flying basket ball. It's flight path was very straight, it did not deviate, slow down, change course, hover or make any noise. It did not have any lights on it at all.

Using Google earth I was able to measure the approximate distance, from my point of perception to where it disappeared over my neighbors home, at around two hundred feet. I estimated I tracked it for approximately 2 to 2.5 seconds and calculated its speed between 60 and 70 mph.

Right after it disappeared I immediately tried to rationalize what I had seen. Was it a bird or a drone? It didn't look like or move like a bird, nor did I see wings and it was too big. I have seen many drones and most were moving very slowly, not in a straight line, or they were hovering, made noise and they made obvious changes in direction.

Immediately after seeing the object I went inside and told my wife. She was skeptical and laughed but then realized I was serious. Within days I told other family members about what I seen, they just laughed and asked If I took a picture.

This incident has really bothered me and I've been debating with myself to report it. I had heard about your site and I'm was just hoping someone else might have seen something similar. I am a retired Police officer with over 25 years with the city of Austin Texas and consider myself of sound mind and body.

Orange ball of light floats across the night sky Myself and another witness were outdoors celebrating the new year when we observed a single bright orange ball of light travel across the night sky. It stayed on a northerly track, did not change altitude, and took about 20 seconds to cross the horizon until it was out of view. Fireworks were being set off at the time, but this did not appear to be any kind of firework, chinese lantern, or paper on fire.

It was too bright, fast, and tracked steadily. The sky was slightly foggy, but the ball of light was very visible. There was no sound.

Interestingly, this is my second report of this nature. The last one was in New Caney, TX on the night of July 4, 2012. There were also fireworks being set off that night, but without the fog I could clearly see it was a ball of what looked like fire.

This was a nearly identical sighting in duration and way it behaved. Also, upon talking to one of my neighbors since then, he also witnessed the one in 2012, although I did not know at the time of my report, so I did not include this information.

2 rapid moving sudden halt and combine My son and I were looking to see if anyone was popping fireworks. We live outside of the city and the country and the view we have to our south is nothing but ocean. However, on the northeast side of the sky we can see hobby airports airplanes every night.

All the time. We're pretty used to saying airplanes. However, that night when we were looking my son pointed out two solid balls that were oranges yellow.

They were coming down and the direct northern sky side by side and then stopped rapidly. They began to fly around each other and then one absorbed the other and started fading in and out. It finally disappeared so we went inside for a little while.

About 15 minutes later one of them was back. The other one split from it and then both of them went out.

Looked like a floating weather balloon that suddenly developed a vapor trail and flew away after about 30 minutes of observation. I was in and out of my house over a period of time because I was cooking on an outside smoker. While I was doing so, I noticed a sparkle in the sky.

I went to a better vantage point in my yard, due to tree limbs, to be able to see what it was. It was evidently floating in the air and not moving across the sky at any noticeable rate. As it was floating, it would glitter as if when the sun would hit it at just the right angle and make it sparkle.

As I was continuing to cook, I continued to watch it and wonder what it was. I came in the house and got my wife to come out and look. She saw it too.

We had discussion of “Gee, I wonder what that is?”. Again, it was just floating in the same area of the sky for over 30 minutes and it was almost if the wind was blowing and making something flap and it would continue to catch the glint of the sun and make it sparkle. I was in and out of the house, due to the cooking preparation, and continued to look at it every time I went back outside which is probably 10 times over the span of 30 minutes.

The last time that I went outside and saw it, I just happened to be staring at it when suddenly it developed a vapor trail behind it and zoomed off to the northwest of my position. That was the end of the observation.

4 cylindrical glowing towers of light seen stationary in a cloudy sky After finishing wrapping presents and getting Christmas ready for our daughters. I stepped outside into my backyard. It was 2am, Christmas morning.

I noticed some lights glowing in the sky where typically we don't have any flying aircraft or landing patterns have airplanes. We do live close to a big international airport, but the planes are never flying this close, stationary or in this area of the sky. I have all the landing and take off patterns around our house as I see them often during the day and night.

They looked to me pretty close (0.5 miles) away, which was really close. Once I confirmed that this couldn't be a airplane, I called my wife to come out and take a look.

They cylindrical towers of light were stationary and not moving up or down, but glowing. Once she also confirmed that this was unusual, I took video of the occurrence and two photos. I am a skeptic, but this was incredibly convincing and undeniably strange and unique.

Either Santa Claus is real or Aliens or maybe Santa is an alein. Either way, I would love to know if others reported this occurrence in the NorthEast Houston area of Kingwood, Humble and Atascocita.

Saw something in sky blue/ white spinning rotating. Looked like plasma 1 of 2 siting details below This was 8:40 ish pm on Christmas Eve 2022. I’m always looking up to the sky so I went outside to look at stars and noticed an orb / sphere thing in sky over the neighbors house.

Way to low to be stars. I took coupe of pictures than recorded 2 videos. The object looked like it was a spinning top.

It was clearly spinning with my naked eye. When I looked at the videos and zoomed in on the object. I was completely speechless and shocked.

Not only was it definitely spinning but it look like it kind of was changing shapes and just rotating but there was no sides top bottom or anything that I could make out it was just like plasma that was colored and translucent. Has several several different colors just spinning and rotating. so when I looked at it without a camera or anything I can clearly see it spinning and it was blue and white lights that I could see, then when you zoomed in you can definitely see what I mean it just turns to a whole bunch of colors and it’s just moving in and out of the object .

2 of 2 sighting details This was Christmas day approximately at 6:37 PM We were on our way home from Daughters house on highway 121 around Plano Texas and I saw something a bit elevated from my direct sight coming towards us. The object passed from the left side of the highway to the right It was unbelievable. I noticed it had blue and white lights just like the object I saw the night before on Christmas Eve.

This object definitely was bigger than 2 helicopters. The lights went in a circle motion on each side and reminded me of ginormous wagon wheels. With the object having blue lights outlining one side of the craft & white lights outlining the other I’m pretty sure to say the lights outlined the entire object.

I can’t even describe how big this object was. Pardon me if I already said so but I did get a picture when we were on the highway and the object was to the right of me where there’s buildings grocery stores parking garages etc. I I don’t know for sure but I’m guessing it’s a no fly zone for any objects to do what this object was doing.

I was pretty much in shock. Can I please ask what do you think it is? I tried to look online and research to my best ability to find out if anyone else reported this on Christmas Day. I don’t see how anybody could’ve missed it.

Also of course can you please tell me what you think about my Christmas Eve reported event? Is there a good explanation for this ? To me looked spinning plasma . I’d be happy to answer any other questions, hope you can help me figure this out. I have Hesitated to report these events.

I don’t know why because I’ve been wanting to see something in the sky that was a real UFO.

Four witnesses observed unidentified stationary lights in the night sky from a window in their home The lights were first noticed at around midnight by my brother (aged 19). According to witnesses, the lights were stationary, hovering in the southeast, towards the airport. The lights were in a somewhat pillar-like shape and gave off a slight reddish hue and faded in and out, with a maximum of five observed in total.

The lowest number of lights observed at any given time were two, according to witnesses. The lights were not observed to have left the scene directly by witnesses, but the presence of the lights were reported to have been completely gone by 3:00 AM. During this time, my brother called other family members to witness the lights.

The other witnesses are my father (aged 53), my mother (aged 51), and my sister (aged 16). Three pictures of the lights were taken, one by my brother and two by my father. Although not directly related to the lights, it is worth noting that between the hours of 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM, all power in the house (and presumably the entire neighborhood) went out twice during this timeframe.

Another thing of note is that despite the proximity to an airport, all witnesses mentioned have lived in this region for around two decades and have frequently spotted all types of normal aircraft during this time, making the misidentification of aircraft unlikely and improbable.

Large light that dropped several smaller red lights out of it. Saw a bright large light that I thought was a star. It was too close and to bright to be a star.

Light then blinked at me then moved upward slowly and dropped 3 smaller red lights out of it. The smaller red lights the moved in circles and patterns around the brighter object. They then blended back together and disappeared.

I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and saw 3 vertical red lights From where I was they seems to be about an inch wide and 3 inches long, going from left to right side by side each other and maybe 3 inches long. Once I decided it wasn’t the moon or anything I could notice on my star app I grabbed my dad and his girlfriend to see. When we can outside there we’re only 2 I took a video and went inside.

When I came back out 30 mins later they were gone.

Saw fast moving disk in sky as well an entities in the craft Saw multiple disks in sky throughout the night. Some were disk shape some looked like large spaceships from movies. They were fast moving and varied in color.

Some were red, blue, green. All weren’t visible with the naked eye. Needed to use a camera to be able to see some.

Also some looked pixelated as if they were trying to be invisible. Electronic hum was heard a few times throughout the night. This has been going on for over a month now.

In addition I’ve been seeing pixelated entities for over a month too. In recent days it’s been so many. I can feel them touch me and sometimes when they do they cause extreme pain.

Sometimes is feels like they’re draining my energy and causes me to almost faint. Some look like the classic gray alien. Some look like people.

Some are small ive seen dogs cats snakes birds. Some look like gnomes and wizards. Some look like robotic.

Some are really tall I can’t see them. To the eye the entities look like a pixelated blur. Like the light is bending around something.

To see them I look a black screen and see the reflection in my glasses. When this happens you hear the neighborhood dogs bark and the lights get really bright. Also I can see shadows of them and can see when they’re on me by my shadow.

My security camera picks up people but no one is ever there. When you look at the footage though you can see a pixelated image of a person l. This is still going on now.

Huge glow hovering over town & then disappeared like the speed of light off to the west My son & I were coming back from youth group night & were north bound on loop 306. All of a sudden we both noticed a huge glow in the sky- it was so bright & appeared to be green. We both noticed it hovering & then saw it head west & in a flash- it was gone.

No trace was left behind. It appeared to be close to Goodfellow Air Force Base. We noticed an abnormal amount of AFB action in the sky after this.

TX 2 paralell streaks of light orange in color lit up the ground around me TX I was walking in a nnw direction looking down, because it was dark. The ground lit up orange i looked up immediately and saw 2 streaks of bright orange streaks that left an imprimt like camera flash or welder arcing. What i saw seemed to be a craft going from still to 100 times faster than anything im aware of.

I have watched the sky over 35 years and seen some amazing meteor showers of defragmenting fireballs, but this I have never seen except on Startrek after they initiate hyperdrive. this was around 4am in the NNW sky of Liberty Hill TX.

Well I was outside taking night pictures and in the corner of my eye I’ve seen a green or yellow light pass by over my neighbors house As I was saying I was just outside taking photos at night and I had seen a green or yellow light pass over neighbors house in front of me. It passed by pretty fast. I didn’t even hear anything at all it was pretty quiet outside.

First thing that had popped in my head was that I’ve seen a ufo. Still is on my mind and I’ve been outside more to see if I see anything similar.

It appeared out of nowhere & slowly moved across the sky It had 4 alternating flashing bright white lights. Then it stopped moving and just hovered way, way, way up in the clear blue sky. Then a passenger jet came flying right up under it.

Then while I was talking to 911 operator reporting it I looked in the sky and it was gone. Vanished into thin air. It just totally vanished.

It came into the sky from nowhere then it just totally vanished!.

3 Lights / Orbs on Highway 503 South at tree top level. 2 Red and 1 white that turned to green moving in sequence. The first time we saw the objects was December 1st 2022.

My wife and I were on top of the hill on the hunting lease trying to get better reception for things that apply to her business. She stopped and said to me, what is that red light. After watching it for a couple of minutes and exchanging options which became more and more apparent to be wrong.

I suggested she start videoing with my phone. So she did. This went on for 12 to 15 minutes.

I finally said this is one of those things I need to add to my list of Sh** I don't know!!! I suggested that it may be a Fire Truck because it almost appeared to be on Highway 503 at the front of the property and exactly where the property owners live. It was red and flashing but we could not hear it or see any fire or smoke on the roadside and thought it appeared originally close enough, that we should be able to hear something and see smoke. We pretty quickly disregarded the grass fire scenario due to the irratic movement of the light.

Back and forth and up and down. Then my wife questioned maybe it's the owner's Christmas lights. We really could not tell the exact range because we also could not decide on the size of the object.

Soon we realized it was 2 objects and then shortly there after it became 3 objects. The second light that we had really paid no attention to which was to the left and appeared to be white at first and then green we quickly realized it was actually moving in sequence with the red one. Then the 3rd one flashed in and out of view from the right and appeared to be a little dimmer.

Now I was running possible reasonable answers as to what we were seeing. Then my wife suggested maybe someone had shot a deer just before dark and they were looking for it. But that reasonably sound theory fell apart because by my guessing of distance between objects was 300 to 500 yards and they absolutely appeared to be moving in sequence.

Drones came into the conversation, but NO! During this time a couple of cars or trucks came up Hwy. 503 which was about 3/4 of a mile from us. But it did not clarify for me the exact distance the objects were from us.

Then I stated, I wonder what the 2 vehicles occupants must be thinking while seeing this. But they seemed unaffected and their speed never appeared to change. We could hear the vehicles clearly but nothing from the objects? Reason I guessed Fire Truck and possible grass fire on side of 503 was I am a retired Fire Chief and while in the Air Force at Sheppard AFB, I became Crew Chief of the Flightline Rescue Team for NATO 80th Flying Wing in WITCHITA FALLS, TEXAS.

We finally after 15 minutes or so got down off the rear of the golf cart and headed back to camp about 200 yards away. Confused and a little shaken. We stayed at camp and never went back outside the rest of the night.

The rest of our hunts were successful and without interruption. Our conversation that night pertained to trying to figure out what just happened? We inquired with the property owners before we left about if they saw anything unusual at the time in question. Or if they had put their Christmas lights up, which they had not! Just to cover all possible explanations.

They also told us they were in Abilene that night and did not get back home until 8 pm or so. Now I really was wondering to what had actually occurred? The second incident occurred at around 6 am on December 18, 2022 during my walk to my Deer hunting blind on top of the hill about 100 yards west from the location we were a couple of weeks before. I looked up in the sky and it was clear, cool and still that morning.

I thought this is a great morning for deer hunting. On the way up a small rock shelf I noticed a pretty bright light, which was the only one in the area and considered it to be a star. After looking at it while proceeding, I thought to myself did that star just move.

Of course realizing I was walking over a rocky surface I quickly came to the assumption it was my head bobbing a little from uneven terrain. The more I walked and watched the more unsure I became. Then thinking maybe here we go again, I climbed in my Dillon Deer blind and started looking at the object/star or what the heck.

Soon as I had sat there for a minute or so it dropped approximately 1/3 it's distance towards the ground. I immediately started analyzing it's distance and height from me. When I thought it was a bright star, who knows the distance? But now I'm thinking it's a light/object and that's a whole different judgement and assessment on my part.

I'm guessing 10 to 12 thousand ft., maybe? I did skydive once and had watched planes touch and go for 3 or 4 years. So yah! 10,000 ft.

[ ] As soon as it paused it's decent. It began a lot of constant irratic moving and changing colors. Strobe light effect is what my thought process associated it with.

All different colors. I was like, this is really showing me what it is capable of! After 4 or 5 minutes of complete WOW!!! I thought, I have frickin binoculars on. So I immediately started using them.

It's appearance through the binoculars was semitransparent, either lights in it, or on it. It appeared shaped somewhat like a large jellyfish turned on it's side and with lights all over it and on in it. Especially around what I would identify as the bottom of it's bell shape.

Sounds weird, but that's what I associated it with shape wise. Remember / transparent! Totally taken back and confused as to the difference in the large colorful strobe ball of light I had been videoing and watching and what the binoculars had shown me. I began wanting a picture! Not sure of what, or if my phone could do any good at that distance.

I tried it and it worked. I decided to focus my camera at 10x and took a couple of pictures. Best that I could out of the window of the blind.

Then I viewed what I had taken a picture of and couldn't tell much, but they both looked different, like it was possibly chaging shape also? I videod and watched it a little longer before it started back up to approximately its original location. Then it began heading Northeast over the top of my blind just 10 or 15 minutes before daylight. I had hunted until about 10 that morning and when my wife returned to camp I told her, it kind of happened again this morning.

Then I told her about the event. Then showed her the videos. I also requested her to set her phone camera to 10x and take a picture of the pictures I had taken.

So she did and that's the pictures I am attaching. Haven't been back to the lease but one night since then, and did a quick check on the place and contined on our 25th anniversary road trip. However, over the past 11 years on the lease I have had a handful of sightings that I questioned certain lights/objects.

But nothing I could really say , what is going on here? I really feel something like this will occur again. Its a pretty remote location and I actually look forward to the future posibilities. ( I think? ).

Looked like a drone but moved way too fast then had a cylinder of color changing lights that looked like they were dropping down But the weirdest thing was the barn light came on how close it was coming over our home and that none of the 4 dogs barked but they bark for every sound they hear. Side Note I have insomnia and love the sky this is my closest sighting I didn’t know to be scared or curious. In the end I watched til it went over my house.

Saw a bright object falling to the ground silently and quickly. It appeared to have green lights and an orange tracer following. A friend and I were standing around my car in downtown Austin, when I saw a bright object falling to the ground from the top of my peripheral vision.

It had green light on it, and a long orange trail behind that followed it down, like a shooting star. It appeared to have sparks emanating from it as it fell, and it made no sound at all, even as it appeared to crash behind the horizon. I pointed it out and my friend was able to briefly see it before it disappeared behind the houses on the horizon.

I've seen plenty of shooting stars, but it gave me a very strange vibe, and I've never seen anything like it before. It appeared to be flaming as it fell.

Watched for about 5 minutes. A very large plane like cylinder with now wing Hovering in place at around 5,000 to 8,000 feet. The object then radiated a brilliant bright light that moves over the entire craft left to right.

My ex, who was an Army Ranger was in my passenger seat, I was driving but we watched it. What caught my attention was how low, at first what I thought was a commercial airline, as well it was in a non flight path in our rural area. I then quickly realized it was hovering and not moving then it started it light show and after minutes of watching it, it vanished before our eyes.

Almost like it went into stealth mode.

Light passed over car on access road and disappeared After exiting Zarzamora St, off of 410 Connally loop, we were on the access road traveling North bound, we saw a white light go over us and disappear. It was traveling horizontally. The white light went directly down the middle of our front windshield and passed us.

It was about the speed of a helicopter, which at first glance we that it was. But it didn't have a red light or other lights, it was just a white light. We were going about 50 mph.

It disappeared after about 3 seconds. I was in passenger side and saw it and thought my mind or eyes were playing tricks on me. But told me daughter and she said giggled that she thought the same too and saw same thing.

I keep telling myself maybe it was a shooting star but I don't remember a trail after it. Also it didn't seem like it was falling down from the sky. It was going horizontally directly over us.

It didn't look like a floating lantern because those are usually a yellowish orangey color.
