Texas UFO Sightings in 1991

UFO sighting in Pasadena TX in November 1991. I saw this UFO sometime in November 1991. I don't remember the exact day.

I decided to go get a hair cut. So I borrowed my Mom's car and headed out. It was between 7-8 in the evening.

It was dark too. The first thing I noticed as I was driving along was the unusual amount of lights in the sky. There were a number of planes or helicopters all over, but not close enough for me to hear or identify them.

As I traveled west on Sycamore in Pasadena, TX, I came to T interesection and stop sign at Beltway 8. I believe its called E Sam Houston Parkway now. Back then it was not a toll road.

I looked to my left and saw the traffic was stopped down at the Spencer Hwy intersection. I turned right and headed north. Almost immediately I looked over to my left and saw something that grabbed my attention.

About a hundred yards across Beltway 8 from my location (I measured it on Google Earth) there is a field with 2 bill boards on the north and south side. Hovering above the field was a large black shape. It was between the bill boards (at least appeared to be so).

It had no lights on it. I slowed down to almost a complete stop, turned off the radio, and rolled down the window. There was no sound coming from the object.

I should have stopped the car and gotten out so I could get a really good look, but I was so surprised I didn't really think about it. Within a minute from me sighting the "craft" it began to slowly ascend into the sky. It was quite large, but I could not see any detail because it was blacked out.

I am not sure if it was a "saucer" shape or not since I was looking at it from the side. But it was not very thick. I circled around at the U-Turn on Pine as it slowly moved upward.

When I was under it on the opposite side from where I started I could tell it was quite wide. I circled around back at Spencer and watched it float high and higher, and I ended up at a light down by Pasadena Blvd/Red Bluff intersections. At some point the dark shape lit up into a ball of light.

I'm not sure how else to describe it. Then suddenly it flashed northward toward me. When I say it flashed I actually mean it flashed.

It moved so fast that it left a trail of light behind it. As it came toward my location it did a 180 degree change in flight and flashed southward toward the Gulf of Mexico and did a zig zag. Again, it moved so fast that it left a light trail behind it.

It looked to have slightly ascended in its trajectory as it took off.

Round disk with lights Was working night shift at Fuller Gas Plant in 1991, saw round object could see lights yellow green, maybe blue, going around, didn't really see the color of the object itself, just the lights. It hovered/moved very slowly over gas plant, but the distance it covered it must have been faster than I thought. I didn't hear any sounds, and nothing out of the ordinary happened at the gas plant.

I watched it for about 5 minutes before it dissapeared suddenly, As it was moving, I called another co-worker at the water station, but he didn't notice it. It was travelling from west- northwest to south south-east direction. It dissapeared just when it passed over my head.

Giant V-Shaped Craft On the morning just sometime after 1:00 am, September 27, 1991. In San Marcos, Texas I was stargazing. The sky was very clear, although there was no moon out that night, the stars could be seen clearly.

I turned my attention on a star within the Southwestern part of the nigh sky, at this moment, The star seemed to just "go out, like a light". I couldn't believe what had just happened, and immediately this captured my full attention. just then, I began to notice the other stars to left of the star that seemed to have just disappeared a moment ago, also began to go out one by one from my line of sight.

I began to strain my eyes to better adjust them with the darkness of the night sky. There were some street lights nearby, but they were behind me at the time, and did not have interference. As I stood there watching the stars seem to continue going out like lights one at a time, I took notice of a large black silhouette in the sky, all I could make of it that m! oment was just a giant black mass, shape still unclear.

The unknown object was traveling South, then it began to tilt, and turned towards the south, southwest, now, moving away from me, at the time it tilted to the right, I then noticed it's shape. It was a giant "V" shaped u.f.

o. It had no lights, no sound. It was just a black Silhouette, V-shaped craft.

My guess would say it was about 300 yards long, and about 1-2 hundred yards wide. A huge craft! I was truly shocked, and amazed. I thought to myself it was larger than entire football stadium.

It drifted silently a few hundred feet above the trees, totally silent, A capitol class cruiser. I don't know why, but this thought just came to mind; "A capitol class cruiser" . That night in particular, there was a new home improvement store opening on the opposite side of the highway from where I was when I encountered the sighting.

At that time, there were two searchlights used as an attraction for the new building. To me, the c! raft seemed to be heading over the highway, as if to be attrac! ted to t he traffic on the road. But the way it suddenly pitched to the right, away from the highway, it now seemed to me as if it was trying to avoid the searchlights which were still in operation.

I know what I had seen that night. And I know it was not man -made, and it was not from this world. I have spoken to only a few people about this incident.

And it has been years since I have mentioned this to anyone since then.

I have not been compelled to report this incident until a few days ago to the MUFON website. I encountered a blue alien in my bedroom, at the end of my bed. I felt we were communicating.

Swaying round light at rooftop height between 2 houses and right above--a huge triangular black object--no sound. In my vehicle was myself and my 3 sons--all under 14 years of age at the time. I was driving along and I looked to the side because this light caught my eye--I stopped.

This light didn’t have a beam and it was swaying back and forth between two houses right at rooftop height. I looked up above to see where the light was coming from and it was a huge triangular shaped object in the sky. This round light started to come towards my car--everything around us seemed gray and quiet and no sound--it felt like time standing still.

I have always heard of missing time and I glanced at the time on the car. I went out right at that time and when I came to I looked at the clock and I was missing one hour. I asked my kids if I had fallen asleep and they said no--they said we hadn’t been there very long.

I asked them if they had seen the light and they said no. I didn’t realize there was a place to vent like this and I’m glad I can finally say something.

Some type of Electrically Propelled, composite fuselage, Craft floated overhead at a slow speed, heading toward Ft. Hood Army Post. I had just started fishing around 8:15 in the morning, 1st day of leave for vacation.

I was just below the dam several thousand feet downstream and heard some type of rythmatic Electrical Popping sound getting louder. There was nothing but heavy woods for over a mile around this area in 1991. I saw a large green sphere forming in my vision through the trees.

It was at tree top height and going very slowly. The sound was coming from the top. I smelled rancid ozone.

The sound was over 115db but less than 130db. It was definitely an electrical short, with loud crack to the popping. I was an active duty C-130/C-23 Crew Chief in the USAF at the time and could see conventional AN517 type Phillips heads fasteners around the single Window.

I got within 100 feet of it as it went by overhead. The window appeared milked, crazed or distorted like Aviation poly-carbonate windows when they get old. After it passed 3 UH-60 Helicopter followed several thousand feet behind.

The electrical Arc sound was drowning out the sound of the UH-60's. There were people setting on the UH-60 floor at the door ledges looking outward on the UH-60s. I was straight under them when I noticed the legs hanging over the side.

The soldiers were looking outward, I suspect for witnesses. I was in heavy trees and they were about 500ft AGL following the Sphere which was still about 80 feet AGL. I lost vision of it over the horizon of the dam.

spoked wheel flies in front of the moon My brother and I were sitting on the back porch. We observed a cluster of lights moving across the sky. It became apparent that this light formation was not a regular aircraft as it approached us because 1.

it made no sound, and 2. the lights were arrayed in a circular pattern. There was a full moon that night, and as chance would have it, this object passed directly in front of the moon in relation to our line of sight.

Because of this, my brother and I both were able to observe the silhouette of a circular object with what appeared to be 2 spokes, in a cross pattern, connecting its opposite sides. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. PD)).

Eclipse or UFO? I remember only that I was 6 years old and that one night I was looking at the full moon during the summer and that it started to eclipse. I was fascinated so I just stared. At the time I didn't know it but I didn't know that we weren't supposed to stare at the centers of eclipses but I remebered that there were no eclipses due to appear so I just stared.

All I remember was the after blinking a few times I seemed to have lost track of time and so I just went out.I just closed my eyes. The next thing I know, I'm in my living room standing in wonder, "How did I get there?" I know that the ufo was circular because it made an eclipsing effect on the full moon.

string of lights silently passes over rural house I happened to catch coast to coast on my way to work the morning of September 19th 2003. Geroge Nori had a guest on, talking about UFOs. I have never really given much thought to whether there are really UFOs visiting our planet.

I guess you can say that I am skeptical of the idea. However, I do have an instance that happened to my family and me about 12 years ago. I have only told a few people about this incident because I still believe that there is probably some explanation for what we saw that night.

In 1991 I was 35 years old, my wife 32 and our sons 9 and 12. We had moved into our new home on 40 acres only a few months before. Our place was in a very rural part of the County.

Our closest neighbor was approx. 2 miles away and it was 8 miles to the closest small town of 1000 residents. The largest city, and the only major airport was about 70 miles south of our place.

On this particular night we had just returned home from our 12 year old son's little league baseball game. It was around 11:00 pm and He had immediatly went upstairs to his room because he was upset that they had lost their game. My wife and other son were in the family room and I went up to try and cheer my 12 year old up.

Our house was built on a hill in the middle of our 40 acres and my son's room faced the west. There were 3 six foot windows side by side in his room. The back door to our home was right at the bottom of the staircase.

As I sat down on his bed I just happened to glance out of his window to the western sky. That is when I saw something in the distance headed right toward our house. This thing was very large with many lights and at a low altitude.

My first thought was that a commercial jet was about to crash on our land. I yelled to my wife that a jet was about to crash into our field. My son and I got down the stairs very quickly and we met my wife and my other son at the back door.

We all ran out into the back yard. I was expecting to hear a plane in trouble. instead, we all stood there and watched this thing with many lights and a string of lights behind it go right above our heads.

As it traveled over us there was no noise at all and it was moving very slowly. We just stood there and watched it as it disapeared to the east. The next morning I was really expecting to hear some kind of news about it, but I heard nothing.

To this day, I have no idea what this was that we saw, but I know that I will never forget that moment as we stood in our backyard and watched this string of lights silently fly overhead. ((NUFORC Note: Date os incident is approximate. PD)).

This is a REAL experience, most people don't get as close to a BBT as we were so the story may have some details that may be shocking. Late night at Mansfield Dam near Austin Texas. Me and my friend saw strange orange lights, maybe orbs, directly behind a tree line, they were moving very slowly and silent.

Within 10 seconds a massive array of 3 huge, spinning searchlights blasted down and lit up the park. The way they moved was like a gigantic spirograph. This intrusion emanated from a massive floating object at least 150 feet above us.

Each of the 3 lights spun in a tight circle, (seemingly to cover more ground surface area?) a larger rotating system allowed the three spinning lights to rotate on a larger wheel, making the ground search even more efficient. We ran from the lights but they lit us up and chased us under some trees. We were absolutely terrified until all the beams were disengaged.

We stepped out from under the tree, the sky was blocked out by a massive black triangle. It created the lowest frequency I’ve ever felt, It sounded like the engine of a massive ocean tanker coming in to dock. It was totally silent otherwise.

We watched it drift out over the water looking at the 5 flashing amber diamond shaped lights. They flashed in sequence from left to right, one by one. We just stared until it went over Apache Trail off lake Travis.

Two witnesses observed triangular object made of hazy greenish lights speeding back and forth across the horizon. It the summer of 1991, before my senior year of high school. I lived in the suburbs northwest of the city of Houston, TX, which are near FM 1960 (not sure if the road is still called that).

Ambient light in the area was tolerable for skygazing, and there were no military bases in the area. One evening around 9pm CST, I had just come home from eating dinner at a restaurant with my mother. She had observed an object in the sky after I had already gone inside the house.

She came in and said I should go look outside, that she had just saw something very strange. At the time I was extremely skeptical of UFOs, but she is a very logically-minded person, and so I indulged her. By that time the object was already gone, but I decided to wait outside for a bit.

Around thirty or forty minutes later, as I was about decided to give up and go inside, I saw a triangle-shaped object rather high in the sky. The object was comprised of about twenty greenish, hazy lights. The whole surface of the object was rather nebulous in this fashion; there were distinct lights, but their coronas blended together to form a unified triangular object.

It was difficult to judge its distance or altitude from me, as the night was clear and there were no reference objects to compare against. It had to be at least 5,000 feet in the air; it definitely had the appearance of having a high altitude. It was probably a mile or two away from me on the x-axis.

Its size between my fingers while at arm's length (i was around 6'0" at the time) was about 1 inch long and about 3/4ths of an inch wide. Since I was viewing it from an angle of probably 30 degrees from its side, and it had the shape of a slightly-distorted isosceles (two sides longer than the base) triangle, it was either flying at an angle, or its side was actually triangular. The object moved silently and smoothly across the horizon in a matter of five seconds, and because it appeared to be so high, I found it to be impossible to be a commercial plane or satellite.

And since in the over ten years I had lived in Houston up to that time I had never once seen a military jet fly over, I felt I could safely rule that out, especially given the lack of contrail and running lights. I have seen military jets in flight though, and this seemed to travel at a speed far in excess of any military craft. It also could not have been a spotlight since there was no cloud cover to reflect off of, and the pattern was not predictable as a spotlight would be.

The object moved back and forth across the horizon about three times before disappearing. The shape of the object reversed when it came back into view travelling the opposite direction (i.e.

the triangle was pointing the other direction). I had the distinct feeling that I was being watched or observed. Given the highly skeptical nature of my mindset at the time about UFOs, I cannot readily attribute this to a sense of UFO "expectation.

" It was a very primal sensation that registered almost unconsciously. I went in to discuss the sighting with my mother, and then she and I came out together to look for it, and we saw it once again briefly as it once again glided across the horizon. Though I waited outside for some time, I did not see it again.

As a sidenote, several months later the show "Unsolved Mysteries" ran a special on UFO sightings which my mother and I both happened to be watching on separate TVs. Some amateur footage of this object was shown which matched exactly with what I saw. We both independently confirmed this.

Background of observer: I consider myself fairly intelligent, educated and fair-minded. I have a degree in Advertising from a well-respected university, and am a web designer. My mother is also intelligent, educated and fairly conservative in making "fanciful leaps.

Large string of light move slowly from west to east, very low and silent It was late at night, early morning, me and my cousin were outside playing. My cousin said what is that, so I turned around and looked up in the sky. I saw an airplane pretty high in the sky and said an airplane and turned back around and he said no look lower.

I turned around again thinking he was pulling my leg, but this time I had to look for a second and then I could see it. It was very low to the ground, maybe 150 yards up and very close to us. The first thing we did was run to it.

It was moving very slowly from West to East. It blended in with the night sky, with a few exceptions. We ran directly beneath it and looked up at it.

It stayed at a constent speed, very slow. It was long, about 50 yards from our view point, looked like a string of lights or string of stars moving through the sky. The one way to know for sure that there was something there was to look at the stars in front of it, while we were beneath it and watch it move over them, the stars would disappear and the lights that looked like stars would just be moving along at the same speed.

It looked to me like it was reflecting the image of the stars above it to the bottom of it. Some of the lights would twinkle a little. I seam to remember som kind of round windows on the side but am not sure.

I could not tell the exact shape since it was the exact same color. You could tell that it was one very big object and it was silent. It didnt slow down or speed up, we walked under it for about 10 blocks until the T in the road.

Huge blasts of spinning lights(3) scanned at least an acre of land until they zeroed in on us and chased us under a tree where we hid. Me and a freind were out at Lake Travis having a chat about sience fiction stories when I noticed a slow moving light out of the corner of my right eye. It went silentley through the trees then dissapeared.

I thought it was a car so I ignored it. Suddenly 3 gigantic spotlight beams blasted from the treetops and began scanning the ground, they were spinning in huge sweeping search patterns. We were awestruck and wide-jawed and then one of the 10 foot wide beams scanned us passed us and immedeatley swept back on our bodies.

Both other search beams then shot on our bodies, we were completley exposed and frightened. We ran, hearts pounding and completley freaking out under a tree, where the lights followed and shone through the folliage for a horrifing breif period of time. I think I was praying by then.

The lights shut off with a klunking sound and we each fealt safe that we were not going to be harmed. We walked out from under the tree and saw a large triangular shaped object floating over our heads. We watched it drift off over the glistening water as it made a very low frequency humming sound.

There were 5 lights on the back of the ship that blinked in sequence from right to left one at a time, very slowly and methodiclally, amber in color. It drifted ever so slowly over the silent surface of the water for several min. untill it faded into the horizion.

We both went back to our park bench, sat down began talking about what we had been talking about before like it had'nt happened. 20 min. later I remembered what had happened and asked my freind, "what was that?" and the said "oh, you mean that ship?" I said "yes" then he said "I don't know".

Two multicolored stationary distant lights in sky Lights hovering over the city to the west from near Kirby and Holcombe Blvd. Lights appeared stationary 20-30 degrees elevation, very distant. Lights changed color rapidly, I saw red, green, white, and I think blue.

I pointed them out to a gentleman who appeared to be in his 60s, walking his dog, and he said, "Well, I guess you've seen your first UFO". ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. PD)).

Motionless small bright white dot in noontime sky northwest of Plano, Texas (DFW) sky vanished in an instant. This was a sighting that I experienced back in 1991, and although 26 years have passed, I thought I would document my experience here for the record. On or about May 31, 1991, I was sitting in a recliner in my back yard by the pool.

The time was approximately 11:00 a.m. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a bright small white dot in the northwest area of the sky.

I stared at this object for several minutes and it seemed to be at a very high altitude and just stood there motionless. After staring at the object, I noticed a strange feeling as though they were surveying the entire Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. I also had a strange feeling as though they knew I was watching them.

It is hard to describe, but it seems there was some kind of telepathic presence. It made me feel slightly uneasy. After watching the object for approximately another five minutes, this bright small dot of an object just "popped" out of view.

One second it was there, the next, it was gone. I happened in an instant. Although the motionless standing there was unusual, the real unusual thing was the feeling that I experienced of our entire metroplex being under surveillance and my feeling that whatever it was knew I (and whomever else witnessed it) was watching.

SUMMARY: Mother relates story of helicopters observing circle of blue lights on ground. My mother told me this story a few years ago and I just now wanted to tell someone else. I believe every word of it and my mother is honest and has no reason to lie to me.

My mother was driving to work at about 6:00 o'clock in the morning. We live in a small town in the country, and off a few hundred feet from the road(a small country road) she saw several blue lights in a perfect circle on the ground. The object was trapped by 3 helicopters and 2 more were coming in she said.

She did not want to stay because she was afraid the government would take her or something. Where this occurred was about 150 miles from Diass Air Force Base in Abilene. The reason why she is not telling you this is because she died 3 years ago.

Random flashing multicolored lights, with one spotlight, shining down onto my house. Standing outside in my garden, I noticed a light on the horizon. It was red at the beginning, but after a few minutes, it got brighter as it approached and resolved into a multicolored profusion of lights.

The event lasted about 5 minutes, and during the last 30 or so seconds, the collection of multicolored, randomly flashing lights stopped directly over my house, which was about a hundred feet from the garden. It was dark, so I couldn't discern the shape of whatever it was, just a bunch of randomly flashing multicolored lights. It appeared to be about 100 feet above the house, and if I had to guess based on the cluster of lights as an indicator of size, I would say that it was about 20 feet wide.

Anyway, as it stopped over my house, a spotlight shone down from it onto the house. I must emphasize that it made no noise at all during the entire time, even when it was almost directly overhead. When the spotlight appeared, I panicked and ran into the house.

The person who I was standing with outside watching it followed me after about 15 more seconds. After I had calmed down some, we both went back outside and it was gone. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that date is approximate.

I believe now, especially after the craft hovered over me, only feet above my head!!! We were coming home from church on a Wednesday night. It was me, my mom, my sister and a friend of hers. I saw a starlike object in the sky from a few miles away, and told my mom that I didn't remember seeing that there.

I love to watch the sky. Anyway, we got closer, and it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my whole life. We saw a UFO.

I screamed for my mom to pull over, because it was getting lower and lower and I wanted to see it. She pulled into a driveway, and we were in awe gazing out the window. Being in such amazement, I stumbled out of the car, my family screaming in fright.

I was directly under this thing. It was a huge oval shaped craft about 20 feet above my head. Lights went around it, different colors.

They blinked. I heard nothing. It just sat there, over my head as if to let me look at it.

I saw a small square in the bottom, like a door. The dimensions were hard to tell, I was only 16 at the time. I do remember though, there was definetly not enough room for an adult to stand up in there.

I was so dumbfounded, as I had always read about UFO's but never really believed. There I was, a young small town girl, seeing what was the most amazing thing in my life. It hovered there, what seemed like hours, but was 2 or 3 minutes.

Then, before I could blink, it sped off like lightning. NO SOUND!! Nothing, no whirr, no hum, nothing. I was in shock.
