Silver triangular craft hovering over highway Was driving to a friend’s parents’ house for Thanksgiving while I was in college. It was a clear sunny day on a pretty empty stretch of highway. My friend pointed out a triangular, silver object hovering in the sky just above the trees on the passenger side of the car, maybe a couple hundred yards out.

As I drove on we watched it for several minutes, just hovering there and then suddenly it flew, unbelievably fast to be right in front of us, about a mile ahead, hovering over the highway. It stayed there a couple minutes and then split into two equal parts and they both flew (again super fast) in opposite directions and then disappeared into the horizon. It made no sound and there were no lights on the object.

Metallic disc hovers near road in northeast pensacola I was traveling east on Hwy 90 from Pensacola toward Milton at approximately 1 in the morning after a late night at work when I spotted an object hovering approximately 1/4 mi from the main road on the north side. There is a series of short bridges in this area so I traveled past the bridges (and the object) and pulled off to the right side of the road to get a better look. The object continued to hover approximately 25' above the ground/water (it was actually right over this fish camp that had boat launches, etc, right at the edge of the water).

The object made no sound whatsoever. It did have lights, but it happened so long ago I can't accurately recall what colors other than red, which were rotating. I would estimate the size of the disc to be about 30' wide by about 15' high.

It seemed to have a metallic finish, if memory serves me correctly. I leaned on the back of my car watching the object for around 20 minutes if not longer. Eventually, it slowly moved off at a slow rate of speed to the southeast toward Pensacola.

I watched it till it disappeared. I was very close to the object the whole time, approximately a couple hundred yards. There were no other witnesses that I'm aware of.

Actually, that's how I ended up here. I was curious as to whether anyone else had reported anything similar. I told very few people about it at the time out of fear of being laughed at.

Not to mention, I really had trouble accepting it. The moment I got back in my car, my mind started disproving it. It was a very unnerving experience.

For the record, I had not been drinking. I have never reported this anywhere else. Just wanted it documented somewhere.

just got in bed saw a bright light that complety lit up entire 50 acre lake also heard loud whistle,by the time my wife and i could get to the back door it was gone. My brother was on couch in living room heard and saw same thing we did. didnt see the object by saw a very bright intense white light that lit up entire 50 acre lake.

saw two squares moving together over Kissimmee, saw a red light moving incredibly fast over Orlando I have experienced two different sightings, as follows: 1. In about 1991, I witnessed two apparently flat, square, gray objects in the sky. The objects were identical, and moved as one.

As an engineer, I would estimate the objects were approximately a half-mile away from me, and were 50 feet to 100 feet wide, each. They were closer to each other than their widths. That is, they were not very far from each other.

They were both vertically oriented squares, that is, they were not "diamond" shaped. They appeared to be without much depth, or so it seemed as I was unable to determine if they had a depth due to my viewing them straight on. The two squares appeared to me by descending from the clouds.

The clouds were not very high; maybe a few thousand feet. The squares descended from the clouds, to the point they were just below the clouds, then they moved to the west. I was facing south so they shifted across the sky to the right.

They only moved 1000 feet or so when they stopped, remained still for a few seconds, and then receded into the clouds again. I estimate the entire sighting lasted only 30 seconds. 2.

In 1993, I was swimming alone in the pool one summer night. The weather was nice and warm and the sky was clear. I was floating on my back in the water just looking up at the stars.

My body was oriented from east to west, with my feet being to the east. I noticed a red light high in the sky that appeared from my right, from the south. I began following the light with my eyes although I remained in a laying position floating in the water.

The red light appeared to be a common aircraft flying high in the sky. I watched the light move toward me and thought nothing of the fact that it was an ordinary airplane or an airliner, but at this point, I gave it no thought at all – I was just watching it fly over me. When the light reached my 11 o’clock position in the sky, it stopped dead.

This was very strange to me, as I know planes don’t just stop in the sky. I rose up out of the water to see if I could hear the craft, as it may have been a helicopter, but it was not making a sound. The light was not flashing.

I stood in the water looking up at the still, red light with amazement, trying to figure out what I was looking at. After a few seconds of being still, the red light moved again, but not how it was moving before. Previously, the red light was moving across the night sky in a slow, steady fashion, which gave me the impression it was an ordinary aircraft flying by in the night.

However, after being still for a few seconds, the red light began moving to the north again. It went from my 11 o’clock position to out of sight as if it had been fired from a gun. It zipped across the sky at what must have been thousands of miles per hour and it was out of my sight in a second, or maybe less than a second.

Nighttime sighting. UFO was on the ground. Occupant sighted.

Did not stay long. This all happened when I was in Job Corps at the Gainesville Job Corps Center. It was dark, and me and one of my good friends had to retrieve something from the woods surrounding the Center (of course, we weren't allowed in the woods, but we went anyway).

We were walking towards where we had our campsite and my friend stopped me suddenly. "Check it out! Two werewolf (?) type beings just floated across!" He shouted. I was looking down at the time, so I cannot acknowledge if he indeed saw this.

We continued on when we spotted a UFO on the ground, barely discernable. The shape of it was roughly that of a saucer. It was doing nothing, just sitting there, silent.

Strangely, no lights or anything else that could provide illumination was present on, around, or near it. It was more like we could see it since our eyes were adjusted to the dark (Since we didn't really want to get caught, we had no flashlights). We advanced slowly, hoping to get a closer look at it.

No such luck. We stopped in our tracks when we realized it had disappeared! We glanced at each other, and moved on. We got close to where our material was when something compelled me to get out of there and FAST.

I took off running and my friend was not too close behind. As I was running, I looked over my shoulder and spotted a tall, dark, large-headed being with a dark robe on and it's hands folded in front of it. I did not stop to talk to it or get any closer.

I just wanted out of there. That's about it with this one.

LOOKED TWICE A MESSAGE WENT IN MY HEAD TO GO BACK TO SLEEP I DIDN'T WANT TO SEE THIS. ASKED WIFE IN A.M.

SAME THING AND THOUGHT WENT THROUGH HEAD. I WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO A BRIGHT LIGHT IN MY LIVING ROOM SEEN FROM BEDROOM. LEANED OVER WIFE TO SEE WHAT IT WAS SAW BEING ABOUT 4 1/2 TO 5 FEET TALL STANDING AT COUNTER WITH BACK TO ME, WILL I AM TYPING THIS CHILLS AND HAIR STANDING ON END AND EYES TEARING UP.

ON THE LEFT SIDE IN MY BRAIN HEARD VOICE , NOT MINE SAY" GO BACK TO SLEEP YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THIS. LAID DOWN FOR A MOMENT AND THOUGHT TO MYSELF WHAT THE HELL IS THAT. LEANED OVER WIFE AGAIN TO LOOK SAW BEING IN SAME POSITION AND AGAIN HEARD VOICE SAY "GO BACK TO SLEEP YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THIS,LAID DOWN AGAIN.

IN THE MORNING ASKED WIFE IF SHE SAW ANYTHING STRANGE PREVIOUS NIGHT, SHE SAID NIGHT BEFORE SHE SAW GRAYISH BLUE HOODED BEING IN SAME LOCATION THEN SHE HEARD IN HER HEAD SAME WORDS AS I DID. PREVIOUSLY WE EXPERIENCED OTHER THINGS SO I LEARNED NOT TO DESCRIBE MY HAPPENINGS TO HER SO I COULD COMPARE EVENTS.HAD MANY TO MANY TO DESCRIBE BUT THE ENCOUNTER AND WATCHING THE UFO IN NY ARE THE TWO THAT WERE IN A FULLY CONCIOUS STATE.

Summary: Bluish object hovering,then gone. On the aforementioned night, my mother, my brother and I were taking a walk around our neighborhood. We were almost home, and as I was looking up at the sky I noticed an intensly lit object.

It was small, because it was at a pretty high altitude. It looked like two balls attached to each other by a rod (i.e.

O-O) It moved around erraticly with apparently random course. Then, it streaked off to the south at a speed faster than any airplane would ever be able to reach. Then it was gone.

I didn't say anything to my mom, but in later years I have mentioned it to my brother.

thought it was space shuttle lift off Have not spoke about it since because when I first saw it with my friend at the time , "which since we have not spoken or seen each other", I told a few people and they pretty much thought I was crazy. But how could two people see the same thing not once but twice in one week. Once with my friend and the other with my then girlfirend who thought I was crazy until she saw it her self.

Me and my friend were at mellaluca lakes in port st lucie fl. at around 10:30 pm we looked toward our left ,(toward kennedy space center just north of st lucie) and we noticed something we thought was the shuttle lifting off at night, because of the orange glow coming from underneath as if it were a lift off. The strange thing is that it was acending very slow and straight up not at an angle like the shuttle does and as sure as I said that to my friend the light shot straigt up what looked to be at least 3 miles up in the blink of an eye I mean rediculously fast.

Before I knew it the thing started coming our direction I had to be at least 5 miles away and was over the lake we were at within 2 to 3 seconds and when we saw it hover over the lake the whole sky reflected off of it ,it was about the size of a vw bettle and there were two lights on top long ones moving back and forth. It was very quiet no sound but the crickets and frogs man, dont know what it was but my bud s! tarted shaking and upon trying to start his car I asked him not to beacause I wanted to know if what we were seeing was real. Had him decribe what he was seeing and it was exactly what I was seeing so I know it was real.

I stepped out of the car and proceeded to walk toward the lake edge to get a closer look at it hovering( 50ft or so in air) as I opened the car door and stepped out it straighted it self out went side to side across whole lake which was at leat half mile wide, zig zagged about 7 time and shot straight toward palm beach county in the blink of an eye. Never believed in UFOs but have since. Saw it a week later after everyone said I was crazy.

Standing out back my house was the second and last encounter. Looked over toward the lake ,( by this time my girl had already said she had enough and she didnt know if she believed me. About ten min later looking toward the lake we both noticed a bright light which appeared to be a spot light on a small plane.

Almost out! of my mind at this time because I thought I was going crazy f! or what me and my friend saw just days before. Anyway looked like a spot light on a small plane started to get brighter and brighter so I took my lighter and started flickering it just because I guess , but as I did it me and my girl noticed the spot light start to flicker as I did with my lighter. Kinda creepy my girl started to wonder at this time because the more I flickered my light the more the spot light did the same as it came our direction over the pine trees.

As it got closer we heard what sounded like a prop plane single engine. At this time my girl pretty much called me crazy and said ,"see it's just a plane man i agreed and said your right. All of a sudden the plane noise changed to a helicopter sound.

My girl started to weird out about this time and wanted to go inside.I told her hell no please stay i said everyone thinks I crazy. She agreed and at this time the noise coming toward us change into distinctly what sounded like a jet engine noise,but the light coming towar! d us was moving slowly.

Until right about 5 seconds later there it was no sound just quiet. No more plane sound no more helicopter sound no more jet sound just hovering over a 40ft pine in my back yard. It sat at an angle with this weird feeling we were being watched.

My girl started crying and I asked her what do you see? Her reply," I see it I beleive", and continued to cry. I told her to go in the house and get my mom and her husband and to quietly walk out the back door to see. She headed toward the house while I just looked in awe.

I heard them come around the front of house instead of the back ,looked over to tell them to hurry, looked back up and saw it fade out of view in front of me and a little flickering light appeared and began moving so fast and in ways no plane we have could have moved with such precission and no sound. Unfortunately my mother and her husband did not see it as we did. I was still called a lier even after my girl told them what she had seen.

N! ote we were not believers until these events occured. As for m! y friend he was the smart one he never told anyone and said he wouldnt. We have not spoken since the incident nor have I ever seen it again.

I know this is very old sighting but please tell me I am not crazy or else how could I remember it as if it were right in front of me now. This happened when I was sixteen and am now 36 . I know I saw something i could not explain.
