ON 12/31/2012 AT 23:32 LOW FLYING UFO STOPPED IN MID AIR OVER TAMPA,FL. THEN VANISHED! ON NEW YEARS EVE I WALK INTO MY BACK YARD AT 23:32, AS IT SOUNDED LIKE A WAR ZONE. I SAW FIRE WORKS IN THE NIGHT SKY.
THE SHY WAS PARTLY CLOUDY TOWARDS THE SOUTH SKY AND CLEAR TOWARDS THE NORTH SKY. TOWARDS THE SOUTH SKY I NOTICE A RED LIGHT TRAVELING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH ACROSS THE SKY. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A FIRE WORK GETTING READY TO EXPLODE, AS ALL THE OTHERS DID.
HOWEVER, AS I KEPT MY SIGHT ON THE RED LIGHT, IT DID NOT EXPLODE. INSTEAD THE LIGHT TRAVELED SLOWLY ACROSS THE NIGHT SKY. AS IT FLEW CLOSER I SAW A CRAFT WITH THREE RED LIGHTS THAT WERE NOT FLASHING.
AS IT TRAVELED JUST BELOW CLOUD LEVEL, THE LIGHTS LITE UP THE CLOUD ABOVE IT WITH A RED GLOW. I RAN IN THE OFFICE TO GRAB MY BINOCULARS (8X42). WITHIN 30 SECONDS I RETURNED TO MY BACK YARD, THE CRAFT WAS STILL FLYING SLOWLY ACROSS THE SKY AND WAS STILL UNDER THE CLOUD.
SO I STARTED VEIWING IT WITH MY BINOCULARS AND CLEARLY SAW THREE RED LIGHTS, ONE ON THE TOP CENTER, AND ONE ON FRONT AND B! ACK. THE CRAFT APPEARED TO HAVE A GRAY METAL COLOR. ONCE IT WAS NO LONGER UNDER THE CLOUD THE SKY BACKGROUND WAS A CLEAR STAR LITE SKY.
THE CRAFT LOOKED TO BE ABOUT 1000 FEET UP IN THE AIR AS IT TRAVELED NORTH A SHORT DISTANCE THEN CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP. THERE WAS NOT ANY NOISE COMING FROM THE CRAFT. IT STOPPED IN MID AIR FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS.
THEN THE CRAFT TOOK OFF FLYING FROM A DEAD STOP, TO A VERY HIGH RATE OF SPEED AT ABOUT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE TOWARD THE NORTHWEST SKY DIRECTION. THE CRAFT TRAVELED SO FAST THAT IT'S RED LIGHTS VANISHED INTO THE STAR LITE SKY IN UNDER 10 SECONDS.

Strange formation of lights in western sky over Fort Myers, FL. In late afternoon, before dark, I noticed an unusual orangish-red light moving towards me in the Western sky. I watched it for a few minutes and then went into my house.
I thought it strange because of its color. Later that same night, December 31, 2012, at around 11:10 PM, I went outside to sit on my lanai. I looked up and saw approximately 5 to 7 orangish-red, ball shaped lights moving across the sky in a strange formation.
It took approximately 3 minutes for the formation to disappear behind a large cloud bank. I could not determine if the formation was a single large object with multiple lights or multiple objects. My impression was that it was both.
When I first saw the formation, I immediately went into the house to get my camera. I was able to capture video footage of the lights as well as a second video of another, single, light that appeared moments after the formation was lost to the clouds. This second single light followed the same flight path as the formation, also disappearing into the same cloud bank.
Both the formation and the second single light moved steadily in a north-westerly direction. They all appeared to have controlled flight - though it seemed more like gliding. I did not see anything emerge from the clouds, perhaps because the bank was very large.
I could not see a glow or reflection through the clouds. They made no sound I could hear.

Unexplainable lights in formation over Heathrow/Lake Mary; 12/31/12. Primary observer is a former US Army Aviator with over 2500 hours of day, night and night aided flight time as pilot in command; trained in distance estimation, target recognition and target identification. Primary observer is currently a senior executive in an aerospace corporation with over 25 years of aviation experience and exposure to aviation technologies.
Following dinner on New Year's Eve primary observer and wife (secondary observer) departed their home to walk their dog. Neither had alcoholic drinks with dinner and neither are drug users. There were children in the streets firing fire-crackers; as such a neighborhood security guard was parked near their house (third observer).
After greeting the security guard the primary observer noted two bright objects in the sky generally south of his location (round, orange lights, approximately 120 degrees from his location at approximately 300 feet above ground level). The primary observer initially assumed these were fire crackers that were about to explode; they did not explode. The primary and secondary observers moved off the paved road down a lake bank to obtain a better view.
The objects proceeded from their southerly location along a route of flight that was generally north at approximately 500 feet above ground level; approximately 1/4 mile from the primary observer. All observers witnessed these round, orange objects in maneuvering flight and specifically noted that while fairly close in formation (50-100 feet separation) they were not connected by any visible structure. The orange objects were approximate size of a helicopter fuselage, bathed in orange light that is best characterized as appearing similar to molten glass or metal; with shifting degrees of brightness.
There were no anti-collision lights and absolutely no sound. A third object trailed the first two by approximately 1/2 mile and then a fourth object traversed the same route; approximately 1/2 behind the! third. The objects were moving at approximately 70-90 knots and took approximately 2 minutes to traverse from initial sighting (south horizon) to extent of viewing over a tree line to the north (probably four miles total).
All observers watched the objects proceed north until they were no longer visible. They remained on the same courseline and altitude. During the sighting the primary observer noted a twin engine plan on left base to final for landing at Sanford Airport .
approximately four miles to the northeast. The reported lights and the airplane were well separated and it is likely that the airplane would not have seen the lights (blending with ground lights). After the sighting the primary and secondary observers walked back up the lake bank and discussed with the 3rd observer the inexplicable nature of what they had all witnessed.
The secondary observer captured the event and video with her iPhone and that video is available upon request. It is a good quality video.

Orange fireball flying slow at low altitude over Fort Myers, Florida, on New Year's Eve. I was headed south on Cleveland Ave. (US 41).
I had just turned left onto Cleveland Ave. off of South Road when I saw a bright ball of orange light flying towards me. It appeared to be at about 500 feet and moving at about the speed of a small aircraft in the approach pattern, that is about 120 MPH.
The threshold of Runway 05 at Page Field is just a hundred yards or so northeast of the intersection of South Road and Cleveland Ave. My first thought was that this object was a small plane on fire trying to make the runway, although its current position and direction of travel would have made Runway 31 a better choice for an emergency landing, especially since there was no wind. As I watched this orange light, I realized that it was not an aircraft.
There were no navigation lights, no landing light, and no anti-collision strobe. It made absolutely no sound. It was certainly close enough that I should have been able to discern wings, fuselage, and tai! l, had there been any, but it seemed to have no physical structure to it.
It was simply a ball of orange fire. I could see variations in intensity on its surface and small flames shooting out from it in all directions, and at times I thought I could see some white smoke trailing from it, but very little. It did not leave a trail.
The fireball was moving in a straight line, from southeast to northwest, and holding altitude. I turned right off of Cleveland Ave and into a darkened parking lot on Maple Drive and got out of my car for a better look. This part of town is well lit by orange street lights and single story buildings, but this is a commercial area and almost every store was closed.
There are no high structures in this part of town because of the airport. There were no pedestrians around, but there was still considerable vehicle traffic on Cleveland Ave. The weather was clear and warm, and there were no clouds.
I still had a good view of the fireball as it! passed overhead just a little to the south of my position and! continu ed flying to the northwest, making no changes in altitude, speed or direction of travel. When I first saw it over Cleveland Ave., it appeared to be about the size of the full moon in the sky, but the moon had not yet come up.
There were no aircraft nearby, and so I had nothing to compare it to for an accurate estimate of its size. It continued on its course, getting steadily smaller as it became more distant from me. I watched it until it became nothing more than a pinpoint of bright orange light in the distance.
I estimate that it did not fade from my view until it was well past the Caloosahatchee River and over North Fort Myers, or perhaps even out over the Gulf of Mexico. I do not know if anyone else saw it or not. Page Field is a very active general aviation airport, lighted all night, with a control tower.
I don’t know if the Page Field control tower is manned all night, but if it is the air traffic controller must have also seen this fireball. Also, the control tower at Southwest Florida International Airport should have seen it as it passed a short distance south of their Runway 06, but given the FAA attitude towards reporting any unidentified airborne anomalies, I doubt that anyone in either tower would have said anything. Given the heavy use of fireworks by the local population in this area to celebrate holidays, it could have been mistaken for an aerial fireworks display, if someone were to take only a quick glance and not watch it for a while.
I am a pilot, and can with certainty state that it was definitely not a firework, nor was it a flare, balloon, meteor, comet or any type of known manmade aircraft with which I am familiar.

Orange Spheres Observed Over Volusioa County Florida Around 20:45 myself and several family members had gathered on our patio to watch New Years Eve fireworks displays going on in our area. Several of us noticed one orange colored sphere that we assumed was an errant firework. A few minutes later we noticed another sphere of the same color moving at the same speed and direction as the previous.
We continued monitoring the sphere, and tracked it traveling due north where it either disappeared or faded into the sky. At the time the moon was very low on the horizon and this was a rural area so it was very dark, without much light pollution, these objects were easy to follow. These orange spheres continued showing up for the next ten minutes, coming from due south or south southeast and traveling due north.
Usually the objects appeared in pairs, one object coming from due south, the other south southeast. They appeared to be moving very fast. The objects were completely orange in color and had no noticeable navigation lights that would be expected of aircraft.
There were however, several aircraft in the area with navigation lights. The orange spheres appeared to be lower in the sky than the other observable aircraft, but made no noise. The objects left no vapor trail.
We noticed a total of ten of these spheres before they stopped showing up. I do not know if there may have been more in the sky before we noticed them. Additionally myself and one other person noticed a very quick and faint white flash occurring shortly after each sphere disappeared into the skies to the north.
However, several others did not notice this.

2 orange balls of flickering light moving slowly, in a line across the night sky, at low altitude, moving without making a sound. Walking my dog, and looking south in the sky, a flickering orange object caught my eye. It was moving slowly in a straight line, coming from the south to the north, about the height of a low flying helicopter, but with no sound.
A second identical flickering orange ball then appeared and followed in the same path, moving from the south to north. Both followed the same line and stayed at the same altitude, and then turned towards the west. The first slowly faded away and then the second one followed.
The objects were orange, circular in shape, with a flickering type of light, very bright orange.

Three fireballs sitting in a row hovering over us for 4mins Cape Coral, FL this evening. December 31, 2012 8:04 p.m.
I live in Cape Coral, just west of Pine Island (Gulf Waters). My boyfriend and I are star gazers and enjoy the night sky. I was in the house when suddenly he burst inside and yelled for me to come quick, I had to see something in the sky.
I stepped outside at 8:04 p.m. to view the night sky, which is very clear and filled with stars.
I looked up to where he was pointing and much to my surprise there were three fire ball orange/red blobs NOT STARS sitting spread out in a row just hovering above. We watched for about two minutes as they just sat there. From our home you can see planes flying in to Fort Myers Airport.
A plane was coming underneath and these things just sat there. After about a minute, one started to move and go North as if it were going to the ocean, soon after the other two moved in same direction following the first. We stood and watched till we could not see them anymore.
We were quite amazed with this sighting. Definitely not stars, shooting stars, falling stars or any type of normal aircraft. Tried to take picture with iphone but only shows image as white dots.
Let me tell you I will be watching for these visitors to return on any given night.I have read alot of UFO sightings for Florida since I have been living here as of July, 2012. I came here from Northern California, Redwoods and Sonoma coast.
I have spent many evenings watching satellites cross the skies there and this was NOTHING as I have EVER seen. ???.

Large "ball" of light separates into three smaller light objects On the evening of December 29, 2012, at approximately 5:50PM,I was walking my dog down our street, heading in a west-southwesterly direction. The sun was almost finished setting, and the sky was mostly clear. As I was looking up into the sky, which I regularly do when dog-walking, I noticed a "star" that was as bright as Venus, but in a different location.
Venus, at that time of night, is almost directly due East. This "light" was on a south-southwest path in the sky.looking up, it was also about 70-75 degrees above the horizon.
At first I thought it was coming towards me, and that the "big light" was the headlights of a jet. Then I realized that it was going AWAY from me, and that the quality of the light coming from it was different to that of a jet headlight.more like it was lit from within.
With this understanding, the dog and I stopped in our front yard.I watched. As I looked on, the "light object" dimmed a bit, then, SPLIT INTO 3 separate smaller objects.
Each one, though not as bright as the original, was also a "ball of light." As soon as they were clearly separated from one another, they took off in 3 different directions.1 took a more southerly route, 1 went straight forward for a second then shot straight UP, and the third one banked sharply to the right (my right) and headed on a north-northwest trajectory.
The time that elapsed between separation and all 3 being no longer visible was about 15-20 seconds. As for a time frame, from first sighting to the end, the entire event lasted around 45 seconds to a minute.

8-10 fireballs floating through the air in a strange formation moving North. I was pulling into the Wal-Mart parking lot off of 6 Mile Cypress and to the west I noticed a group of orange orb/fireball looking spheres "floating" silently through the sky moving North. There was about 8-10 (didn't think to count them.
They were in a sort of "constellation" like formation. Over about two minutes they started to disappear until I couldn't see any of them anymore. This was witnessed by my mother and sister as well.
I tried to have my mother take a picture with her phone but the parking lot lights were too bright for the phone to capture what we were seeing in the sky.

Walking my dog on 12/28/12 at 11pm and saw in the sky 5 to 6 orange lights. On the form I chose fireball as my description but it was more like orange lights almost looked like stars or meteors. But definitely not meteors because they were not falling down but moving across the sky slowly and completely quietly.
They were also flying in V-formation and the 5 or 6 lights were definitely all fkying together in a timing sequence. I thought I was video recording with my cellphone but never hit record button. I asked a guard at the gated community where I was about it and he said another guard witnessed it too but I never spoke to the other witness.
The 5 or 6 irange lights eventually flew out off in the distance out of my sight in thuer V-shape formation. I hope otgers in my area witnessed this too and reoirt it cuz I jniw what I saw was strange and definitely not airplanes unless it was mikitary secret technoligy cuz they were complete silenth my cellphone buta! pparently due to my anxiousness Ineverhitrecird but.

Fireball moving from northeast to southwest. This is the second time we've seen this. We reported the same thing about a week ago.
I have a picture from my iPhone from the original event and about 5 pictures from this one that just occurred. Again, no sound whatsoever. This time we saw the clouds behind it and I estimate (I'm a pilot) that this was maybe 4000 to 6000 ft.
This time we got a better view and it almost looked like there was a parachute shadow behind it but the rate of travel seemed to be more than 200 knots based on my altitude estimate. This was not a flare. Not a shooting star .
Not a high altitude UFO. This is something we've never seen until last week or so. Now we saw it again, this is interesting.
What the heck is going on?.

I saw multiple red-orange orbs over Orlando, FL, that were in landing formation then one at a time went straight up in the clouds. I never really believed in ufo's before and certainly never saw anything that could even come close for my 72 years I have been on this Earth. Last Thursday 12/27/2012 changed all that.
I really can't explain what I saw in the sky over Orlando, FL in any other way except that they either came from some other planet or our government has made something far more technically advanced than anyone can imagine. I was coming in my long driveway in Chuluota facing West looking towards Orlando and the international airport. I am used to seeing planes landing all the time as there is usually a continuous line of them coming in full of Disney World vacationers.
I saw a couple of lines of aircraft (lights) lined up as if coming in for a landing but were too close to each other. I remember saying to myself "Boy, they really have the planes stacked up tonight at the airport". But there were two things that weren't right.
First they were coming in from the West too close to the runway and second, they were the wrong color with only one light. Instead of the usual color of landing lights, these were bright red or red orange and pulsing slightly. I parked my car and came back out in the yard where I could see them well.
There was one line of four going very slow as if in a landing pattern gradually descending coming from the West with another line of three lined up in the same direction several miles to the north. I saw a jet airliner gaining altitude going North having just taken off from OIA and flew right by the lead light. After a short time the lead light started climbing with no increase in speed at a very sharp angle, maybe 75 or 80 degrees.
the second and so forth started following the leader up into a cloud hanging over an area to the south of them. When the first line disappeared into the cloud the second line did the same thing then I noticed more coming out from behind the tree line and they did the same thing. I never saw any of them again.
It was cloudy to the south but very clear every other part of the area and the full moon was out. So I had a perfectly clear view of all of them until they disappeared into the cloud. The total number was about 12 or 13.

another bright light over Lake Okeechobee On way back from store i noticed a very bright light hooving over lake okeechobee. It was the same object i saw 2 days pryor. I drove to the levy at the Buckhead Marina which over looks the lake.
the Object was diamond in appearance and rotated in colors of red blue yellow i looked at this thru my binoculars and it was veryy bright. I observed a very intense white light and two red equally as bright on either side of the object. Now i looked up and say several planes in the area this object, and the object was much lower and in an area of clear sky hoovering over the lake.
Having seen this same object two nights ago i took my astronomy laser with me after and has dicides to try using it to see what would happen. I pulsed the laser with a long duration beam. The object immedatly vanished! Totally gone.
A few seconds later a red dull glowing light appears to the left of where the first object was. I pulsed this with the laser as well twice and it to vanished. this is the third time ive observed this craft and the second time ive pulsed it with a laser both with the same results.

bright diamond light over lake Okeechobee followed by double sonic boom At 810pm i went driving into my drive way in the way home i observed a light hoovering over lake okeechobee i estimate the distance to the light was 2 miles. I noticed the light becasue it was bright and seemed to radiated thru the spectrum. From intense white red blue yellow.
I thought it was a star except no other stars were visable the moon is out but there are low clouds and no stars are visable at all. i parked my truck got out and observed the object then it blinked out at 8:16. I went inside my home and at 8:22 and heard a double sonic boom that slightly shook my house.
I would like to note that this object was in the same position as a bright red light i reported to you last month.
