Many orange and red lights traveling in formation While watching the fireworks from my yard I noticed several lights moving toward my area from the east. I went inside to get my camera when I came back outside there were more lights. They seemed to travel in two's and three's.
The weather was a slight breeze from the west and a slow drizzly rain. They seemed to remain in formation until they disappeared into the clouds. When they first came from the east they were white then changed to orange and then red and then disappeared.
My wife first thought they were planes but, there were no other lights. There were no sounds at all. One time there were six lights they looked like they were in a formation of a triangle.
The speed was like a jetliner coming in for a landing at an airport not fast and not slow either. There was no erratic movement of any kind very smooth moving. We watched for 15 minutes until they stopped coming.
I took several pictures but I couldn't keep the camera still. There were twenty to twenty five lights in all. I have never seen anything like that.
We thought they might be floating lanterns but the wind was going in the opposite direction.

Bright orange circular craft, silent and fast. The object was circular and silent. We were outside lighting fireworks and we live near the beach.
When we first saw it we assumed it was a flare but when it did not descend and began to gain speed we realized it was not. It was very bright and orange, it was silent. It began to make large jumps east and west while it was traveling south.
Never have seen anything like this.

Glowing purple sphere remained stationary and then moved up and down until disappeared below tree line Viewed from a condo balcony in town n country that overlooks Tampa from the NE edge of Tampa Bay. 5-10 miles off in the distance to the ESE was a glowing purple sphere that appeared to stay stationary hovering in the sky and then go up and down until it lowered below the tree line. It re-emerged later after midnight doing the same thing for another 10 minutes.
It was somewhere between the TIA airport and Ybor City. Fireworks were going off around it for New Year's Eve but it did not seem impacted by them and it was unclear how close it was to the fireworks due to the distance. 5 people on my balcony witnessed it as did several people on a neighbor's balcony.

Flickering fireball with no sound or tail. This object was seen coming from the N.E and traveling S.
W. It seemed to flicker like a flame. It was close enough that it should have been heard.
We could not hear that object. We were able to take a few pics of the fireball, but from a distance. It traveled like a low rocket ??.

Two fireballs seen over Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. We were sitting on the patio at around 9:00 p.m.
and witnessed the first of two fireballs pass over us traveling from NE towards SW. About 10 minutes later, the second fireball passed over taking the same path as the first one. To guess, they were probably 2,000 feet high, orange and yellow, and could have been meteors.
What we saw was identical to the report of 12/22/13 from North Palm Beach, FL except for the direction of travel of the object. NPB is a 2 minute drive from where our sighting was. They followed the flight path taken by planes making a landing approach to West Palm Beach International Airport, except they were at at least twice the altitude of a landing plane.
We noticed two planes take a slightly different approach after the fireballs went by. Instead of heading SW, they took a more of a due south approach and then banked hard to the west, maybe avoiding these objects. Interesting.

strange reddish sphere w/bright yellow lights in center moving slowly, then hovering, then moving west again I walked outside to the parking lot at approximately 9:00 pm on 12/31/2013. I live in a small apartment complex near Fort Lauderdale beach. I was leaning against my car, thinking about my son, when I looked up into the sky and saw a strange, bright red ball coming from the east ocean side.
It was a large, bright red circle and in the middle it had a very bright yellowish light. It was heading west, moving swiftly. As the object moved, the red area that encircled the middle was almost a translucent red, like an aura but well defined.
As I stared at it, the object started to slow down and hover over me, for about 2-3 seconds. Then it moved down slowly, and “floated” in the sky for about 10-15 seconds, then very slowly started to move upwards, then it stopped again for about 2 seconds, and then it began it’s slow westward trajectory. The object moved over my apartment complex, stopped, then it faded.
The night was breezy w/clear skies. The event lasted for ab! out 3-4 minutes. My mom was with me and said to me, as we both stared at the circle, “Oh my, how beautiful.
” I have never experienced, or seen, anything like this before.

Orange balls of light zoomed in are orange pulsating hexagonal shaped discs I know it's been over two weeks since I've seen these craft but I'm reading other reports that are very similar to what I saw. I first noticed an orange orb in the sky when I was chatting on the phone with a friend. I quickly hung up after I told her what I saw but by the time I got my camera out it had moved too far away to get a good shot.
I was traveling down Little rd. talking to my sister when I saw the orange craft/orb out the driver's side window. This time I quickly pulled my car onto a side street and got my camera and began filming.
To the naked eye it looked like an orange orb but zoomed in it was a orange pulsating disc, hexagonal in shape. It headed in a SW direction and kept going until it disappeared out of sight. I got into my car and pulled into the WAWA (gas/convenience store) at Little and Ridge rd.
When I came out I noticed what looked like a plane flying very low in a circular pattern, almost as if it was looking for something. This is where it gets exciting and crazy. I pulled back onto Little rd.
heading east and stopped at the light. Looking out my window on my side I saw it coming again, and it was at a low altitude, maybe no more than 500 feet up. I actually shoved my car into park ( the light even turned green but no one was behind me) and started shooting video.
I got out of my car and right there in the intersection I'm filming this orange ball of light. Zoomed in it was the same orange pulsating disc that almost appeared to be an organism, like it was alive, making small jumps, up and down and sideways. I filmed until it got out of view.
There was a black Jeep to my left and when I noticed the window was open a bit I yelled to the two people inside" Look a UFO". They were oblivious to the event but then looked up and said "wow". Now it continues to get crazier.
From the same exact direction, same altitude, here it comes again. Orange ball of light to the naked eye.zoomed in, orange pulsating disc, no sound.
It wasn't moving fast and wasn't moving slow, just a steady pace. If it was on the road I'd say maybe no more than 50 miles an hour, if that. And low and behold, behind the first one comes a second one, orange ball of light.
This time the jeep had left and there was a young girl in a subcompact sitting at the light. I yelled "look at the UFO" and she also looked up and said something. WOW, people need to pay attention to their surroundings.
This second one was slightly lower than the first, silent, orange orb traveling in a SW direction. I filmed this one also. These orange orbs did a flyover at Little and Ridge rd.
at least 4 times. Later that evening around 10-10:30 pm while walking down Alico pass where it intersects with Starkey blvd. I saw two orange orbs flying low but this time they were pretty far away.
One was flying a little lower than the the lead one, and it soon disappeared from sight. I did get video of this episode but it was far away and only for a few brief moments before it too disappeared from view. I'll put my hand on a stack of Holy Bibles what I'm saying is true.
This was the most exciting sighting I've had recently. Actually, I've seen a few unusual craft in the sky lately. Not sure why and I'm not crazy because video doesn't lie.
I will be making a short documentary about my sightings and posting on Youtube. I'll let you know when this happens.

4 Red Balls/Speres floating over Clay county Florida. I'm a 38 year old stay at home mom. College education.
Worked in commercial real estate before staying at home with the children. I'm an avid sky watcher. It's not something I invest a lot of time in, but I'm always looking.
I'm fascinated with the general beauty of stars and night sky. Went to the National Observatory south of Tucson and learned how to look at stars and find cool things like tracking a satellite. It is of note that I live close to Cecil Wright Airfield and NAS JAX.
So I see all types of aircraft daily. So when I had a errand to run before New Years, I took notice of the sky. There were minor fireworks.
And stars in the sky. But I noticed a red ball of light traveling at a steady speed. As I'm not a pilot, I cannot judge the height or speed of this object.
But it appeared to float in the night sky. At a steady speed. Not high enough to be an airliner.
But maybe the height of an helicopter, but with no sound. I was transfixed by this object, ! trying to put it as some sort of military object. Then another floated behind it.
The path looked like a northeast to southwest. But again, I'm only guessing. This was followed by 2 more for a total of 4.
It lasted about 7 minutes from what I witnessed. And I was able to get pictures with my iPhone 5s. But the ball of light appears white/yellow in pictures, but was a very bright red with my naked eye.
The objects disappeared from sight within that 7 minute window. And I've never seen anything like it. Maybe it's a military exercise or something? Very weird.

2 glowing red spheres spaced 7 minutes apart traveling across Boynton Beach Florida I am a business owner that works with 3D modeling, prototype design and architectural construction. I was taking the greyhounds out after their dinner when I noticed a red glowing object. First thought was fire works that are always launched around my neighborhood for New Years.
After capturing the video, I took the dogs back in and came back out to clean up when I noticed the second red object where I captured the second shorter video. First object was sited at 19:24 EST 12/31/13. It was originally thought to be a firework launch but after 20-30 seconds it did not exhibit the signs that would be associated with a firework display.
Video capture was started with a Samsung Galaxy S3 and 87 seconds of video was captured as it traveled from the NE to the W from my vantage point. The object was spherical and had a red glow with no visible com trail or flashing strobe lights. There was no turning or course changes and it maintain a constant travel speed as best as could be discerned from my vantage point.
The second object was spotted 7 minutes later following the same visual line from the NE to the W. The second object was captured on video for 52 seconds before being obscured by cloud cover. The second object looked just as the first one did, same visual speed and path with no course changes or discerning differences.
Neither of the objects exhibited the fireball characteristics that I have seen in other videos though I do know from what I have read that we are passing through the tail debris of one of the comets we had running through our solar system this last year. I do not know what they were but would like to know.

Looked like slow-moving embers in a circular shape rising, leveling off, flying in straight line, then fading out. Saw orange/red circular shape rise up then level and go in a straight line until it went out or disappeared. Saw the same thing about 3-5 min.
later. Saw 4 rise together about a year ago then drift/fly/float over my house, one at a time, before fading out. When I first saw them rising, I thought they were maybe military helicopters in formation.
They were in the air for at least 5 min.

After the family gathering on 12/31/13 and about 12:30 after midnight, family members were leaving my house and we all got outside to wish them good night and safe driving. Well I looked up in the sky and I saw one strange red/orange light (I never saw a light like this in the sky). I told the family a guys take a look at this it is strange and it does not look like an aircraft and the most important was making NO NOISE.
After this went by another was coming behind it (traveling NW) at the same speed and straight line, after this another one and all together they were six, one after the other at the same speed, one behind the other holding same distance between them till they disappeared.

I was walking north on the beach on Marco Island when I looked up after I heard a loud plane. It was a grey colored single engined plane flying in the direction of Marco Airport from the sea side. My attention was caught two objects in the sky behind the plane.
They were much higher up and over the sea to the north west of Marco (probably off the coast near Naples or Fort Myers). They looked at first as if they were parachutes moving down towards the surface. I realized that they could not be because they were too far out to sea and were very high up.
One appeared to be gray/black ant the other was a very bright light. At first I thought the bright one was just the sun glinting off something. I must have taken my eye off the for a second because then I saw both objects take off in a vertical direction out over the gulf at a high speed.
They were traveling in roughly a north west direction. They appeared to stay the same distance apart with the black one a li! ttle lower and behind the bright one. I watched them for several minutes as they disappeared into the distance.
It seemed like the light was unnaturally bright. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

I could not have described what me, my husband and daughter witnessed than the description that was posted by someone in St. Cloud, Florida, on 12/23/13. It was the perfect description of what we saw.
The only thing different was the city and date. It was one of the weirdest things I've seen in the sky. I am a star gazer by nature and this was defiantly something I've never witnessed.
New years eve 12/31/13, we ended up seeing three before the night was over. When you first catch glimpse of it you see this bright orange object cruising across the sky. The three on New Years night were not as clear to me as the one on 12/29/13.
That one was very clear to me and looked to be on fire. All I can say is weird. Very curious to know what they are!! ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to provide no contact information.
PD)).

Glowing orange light silently moving across sky in naples Florida 22:30 December 29, 2013 December 29, 2013 Naples, Florida. At approximately 10:30 on December 29, 2013 I was walking with my two children and a neighbour and we all noticed an orange glowing light in the sky. At first glance I thought it was maybe one of the planets because it was relatively large; however it was noticeably larger than any planet I've observed and was visibly moving.
For another split moment I thought maybe it was some sort of fireball - such was the colour and shape. However its movement seemed steady and the shape/size consistent. Also there appeared to be a very slight crescent glow (where the bright spot would be at the top centre of the crescent).
The light traveled south and at first it seemed to be maybe nearing us slightly, but then appeared to travel away from us while still moving south. Overall it was moving slowly - like an aircraft a few miles away. Then it disappeared by fading out over a period of maybe 5 seconds (overall our sighting time might have been around 30 seconds - we didn't see it appear so don't know how long it was visible).
There were no other lights around the orange 'ball' as we all wondered if it was the front lights (landing lights?) of an aircraft. There is a private airport nearby that has small jets and other aircraft frequenting it. The light however was definitely orange, not the clear/white we normally observe.
Also there were no accompanying flashing lights. Also there was no sound; and it was a quiet evening. There were some clouds in the sky, however it was mostly clear in this area at the time.
There were stars visible in the sky. Later in the evening at around 11:00 we went outside to watch the sky again, but clouds at that point covered almost all of the visible sky. We ultimately thought that maybe it was one of those floating lanterns and landed on that conclusion.
Hopefully this information is helpful.

30 UFOs. We watched as one craft was heading from West to East and my wife remarked that it was a low flying plane to which I stated it was not due to the solid color of orange which were flashing reddish to orange to whitish. As we watched it as I have seen in the past here yet never reported that they just disappear as this one did.
After we watched it disappear I noticed from the west 4 more objects travelling at about 1200-1500 feet high and were not flying in particular formation. I noticed some were faster than others and all were travelling faster than the clouds which were moving in the same direction however these were moving twice the speed if not faster than the wind. This continued until about 30 had passed.
Due to the height these were I would estimate the crafts at around 10-12 feet in circumference. The brightness if these were Chinese lanterns would be at about 1000 candles at least. After a certain amount of time of watching them they all headed to the same place out East and would disappear.

I am wondering if anyone reported the sighting of any UFO, December 29, 2013, at approximately 6:20 p.m. I was jogging in my neighborhood in Prestancia on Palmer Ranch.
I suddenly saw 6 different hot air balloon looking fireballs in the air. I have attached a picture of two as by the time I could take a picture of the others they moved out of my camera range. At first I thought that they might be hot air balloons as I could see fire beneath them.
The problem was that if they were hot air balloons the fire would likely make the balloons rise but would not send them on a horizontal trajectory. I did call the local balloon company here in Sarasota and they confirmed that they did not have any night flights and that it would be highly unlikely that any pilots would fly at night. Interesting, what did I see?.

Strange blinking lights and a huge triangle shaped craft. My girlfriend and I were driving home from St.Augustine when suddenly I noticed cluster of fast blinking lights in the sky at first I disregarded it as a plane until I noticed the speed and zigzag flying pattern of the object.
My girlfriend pulled over and we watched it until it disappeared behind a tree line and then about 2 minutes down the road we saw a large triangle shaped object much bigger than a commercial plane with bright non blinking white lights flying fast and low above the road in front of us and then it disappeared behind a tree line before disappearing all together. We were so blindsided by the event that we didn't even think about taking pictures. Neither of us had ever had a experience before, but this is one we won't forget.
