Florida UFO Sightings in 1990

A very large, black, silent, boomerang flying very very fast over Naples, Florida. At first I did not submit a formal report because the incident happened so long ago, and I can no longer find the details I wrote down immediately after my sighting. However, when I read the report on this website of a sighting in Naples, Florida on 11/3/2005 I couldn't help but be stunned.

The reported sighting was almost identical to a sighting I had about 15 to 18 years ago. I also live in Naples, Florida. The night of my sighting, I was walking down my driveway with my dog.

It was less than an hour after sunset. I was walking from north to south. I looked up because I saw what I believed to be a satellite moving from west to east.

For some reason I can't remember I thought it as Hubble. I watched the satellite until it disappeared into the dark side of the day/night terminator to the east. At almost the same time the satellite disappeared, there was movement directly above me.

Whatever the object was, it was absolutely flat black, and very very fast! The sighting was so brief (only a few seconds), that I could only gather impressions of what I saw. Although the sky was dark and moonless, the object was so dark that I could see a boomerang shape against the slightly lighter night sky. It seemed to be low, and was very large.

Much larger than any airplane I have ever seen. It was absolutely silent. Not a hiss or whoosh came when it passed overhead.

For some reason I had the feeling the leading edge of the shape was just a very little lighter than the trailing edge. Basically, I saw a very dark object against a slightly lighter, clear black sky blocking out the stars. The weather was clear, with a few clouds on the southern horizon.

The star Fomalhaut was clearly visible above the clouds to the south. The thought has occurred to me, the object was intentionally flying near the edge of the terminator in order to remain in darkness. When I checked the date and time of the 11/3/05 sighting, I found that the position of the terminator would have been similar to my sighting.

The largest discrepancy in the two sightings is that my object was traveling in a north to south direction, rather then the northeast to southwest direction of the 11/03/05 sighting. I can still see the object in my minds eye, although some of the detail has been lost. It is something I hope I will never completely forget.

Bright light, intense noise, waking me. Loud noise like that of a commercial aircraft awoke me. A bright yet, soft light engulfed the small house while I laid in bed afraid to move thinking that an aircraft was crashing.

Almost instantly after I opened my eyes, the entire light and object(?) moved over my house and away. First time ever reported. Thought quite possibly it could have been due to the location of Patrick AFB.

two fireballs, western palm beach county Hwy. 710 Around 1990, driving NW on state hwy 710 near 5pm i saw 2 fireballs the size of a small, VW Bug vehicle floating downward over the highway right-of-way fence line (approx. 200 yds.

) southwest of my position. As i drove by, both floated down slowly (one higher than the other, by only feet apart). I slowed my vehicle and watched as they both disappeared behind the fence line brush, but they did not ignite the brush.

A silent triangle close enough to hit with a thrown object This Report has taken this long because my witness was not willing to talk about it. We were fishing on the old Draw bridge in the early morning when we were hit with a spotlight.We thought it was a barge coming up the Intercostal waterway from the south.

We started gathering our gear from the draw so as not to hold up the bridgetender from raising the bridge.As the spotlight swept bank to bank we continued fishing,,as we waited for the barge the spotlight came closer and then we realized that this light was from tree level,alot higher than a barge tower. As the light approched the drawbridge almost directly overhead it did not make a sound no noise light now off,,no breese Nothing!!!!!!If we had not of watched this dark triangle come up the river we would of never noticed it.

I have always wanted to see a U.F.O.

and now that i was looking stright up at the bottom of this thing a calm came over me,We watched this triangle 100 feet above us and just sitting still very dim lights,metalic,triangle shaped. You have to understand I should of been going nuts ,finally seeing a ufo but no. I could of walked acrossed the bridge and asked the bridgetender to call somebody but no.

The thought never entered my mind. I remember leaning back on the railing of the bridge and watching my bait swin around the pilings while this silent dark object hovered over my brother in law and me. As we continued to glance up and to fish the object started assending see it had to clear the High tension wires on the north side of the bridge.

It tripled it's height and whenit cleared the wires it slowly started moving north and then resumed scanning the banks of the river until it disappered around a bend. We went back to fishing as if nothing had happened. My witness told me when we were leaving that he never wanted this brought back up and that he never wanted to talk about it,, until now.

Mistaken identity? Helicopter? Ball of light, turns into Alien aircraft and shoots into space! One night after I got off of work as I was heading back home from downtown Pensacola and heading east on Cervantes Avenue at one point I noticed a bright light shining down upon my car and so I looked up through my windshield and then out the side window to see a bright light which I took to be a helicopter although I did not hear the noise and as the traffic light changed I drove about 2 miles to have this vehicle follow me with its spotlight on me and just after I crossed Bayou Texar and got to the next traffic light, I stopped on the red light and still watching from through the window by sticking my head out because the craft was literally straight up. Anyway, As I stopped at the traffic light I watched the craft above me stop. Then it shot very quickly to a point further east and stopped there for a brief moment, before it then shot into outer space at a very rapid pace if not faster than the speed of light.

A light trail followed it briefly before it t! otally disappeared.

In moonless but bright star country sky, Dark Triangular shape follows family in car. The date and time are only approximates, but I know it was around July-September of 1990. But the heretofor incident was very real.

On a clear bright star but moonless night, on Horeshoe Road which goes from Horeshoe (a fishing village) to Cross City, Fl. A country road through logging lands, just north of the bottom of the Suwannee River at the Gulf of Mexico. Children in the back seat of my car, noticed a "shadow" moving paralel to our vehicle on the left and just ahead.

I looked out and up from driverside window and saw a triangular shaped (dark) image moving at approximately same speed as our vehicle. It didn't seem to be more that a couple hundred feet high. On this deserted road, I stopped the vehicle and turned off the lights to try to get a better look at what it was.

The object stopped, pivoted, and began slowly coming in our direction. There was no sound that could be heard coming from it. The mother in the passenger front seat became very scared and demanded I get in and "get us out of here".

Somewhat unnerved myself, I complied. I continued to observe this object pace us all the way back to Cross City. The children were slightly scared, and being calmed by their mother.

Once in Cross City, I chose not to go directly home not wanting "it" to see us pull into the driveway. I watched as the object slowly took a southerly route away from our location. All movement was very slow and some of it's turns where at almost a complete stop and in pivotal fashion.

In the star lit country sky, we watched this triangular shaped object cover stars and then see the stars reappear behind it as it moved. It had no lights on, and didn't seem to have any paticular direction to go, sort of as though it were just moving about merely to observe.The next day, I reluctanly approached a freind with the expirience because I was concerned with being thought badly about, since at the time I was in law enforcement.

As it turned out several other people had seen this UFO as well. I am divorced from the m! other me ntioned above now, the children were hers from a former marriage. At the time of this incident, they were ages 7,9 and 12.

90 degree turn, possible missing time (?) Mr. Davenport and friends. I am writing as requested of the population in general during a recent interview on Coast to Coast.

As Mr. Davenport mentioned, it is frequent for the subject of time in relation to sightings to be ‘clouded’ in a way. It is so for myself so all dates and times to follow are VERY rough estimates.

N. Miami Beach, summer of 90’ maybe 91’ and somewhere between 8:00pm and 11:00pm- Bright star moving from right to left 1-3 miles away and 20 degrees off the horizon. Once directly in front of me, still 1-3 miles out and same twenty degrees off horizon it changed direction instantly (90 degree angle turn) and slowly now moved towards me.

I watched as it approached for about 5 seconds and suddenly my next memory is of three large lights (the colors of which I cannot recall with any accuracy) directly in front of me about 15’ away silently hovering motionlessly at my balcony as I lay on a couch watching all this. I remember some object directly behind the lights that left me with the impression that the lights were attached to it. But, that memory is there for only two seconds and my next memory is of whatever it was having simply disappeared and something rumbling away overhead.

All was silent till that moment. Around this time three tiny red puncture marks appeared on my lower left abdomen but disappeared with in a day or two.

Large fireball object passes quickly over Biscayne Bay, Miami, Florida It was nearly 11:00pm. I was in a high rise apartment facing Biscayne Bay. Unit 602.

This unit is a two bedroom and has ceiling to floor glass over 1100 square feet of space. It faces Biscayne Bay east, northeast. Out of nowhere appeared a fireball, amber in color over the Atlantic Ocean.

It was travelling from the east to west at an enormous speed. It travelled from the ocean, across Biscayne Bay, over the Hamilton on the Bay Luxury Apartments in under 10 seconds. In diameter, it was the size of a single engine aircraft.

It made no noise. As it passed over head, it cast a shadow of our highrise onto the building 200 feet north of us. It lit up the night's sky.

It was witnessed by my roommate, Timothy E. Kidd. I contacted Miami, Channel 10 News located just a 1/2 mile from The Hamilton.

I called the news room within 3-5 minutes of the sighting in order to report it. They said their weatherman who lives in our same building called. He had witnessed the same object.

Weatherman, Brian Norcross confirmed his sighting. He is still working at Channel 10, Miami.

a bright light caught my eye for some reason and gradually came closer. I was walking my two dogs around the block. I saw a bright light.

I thought, after a few minutes, it was a plane because it slowly got closer and brighter. Then my dogs tried to lay flat on the ground and I found myself trying to hide under trees and bushes. I don't know why.

This thing I thought was a plane was now gliding right over the top of us. It was clear, like water, and silent. Like a big blob, undescribable.

No lights, but you could tell there was a perimeter to this thing, but it was like looking at water. It was moving very slowly and skimmed over the top of the trees and went on its way. I don't know how long the whole incident lasted, but I can tell you that from the minute I first saw that light I was almost in a trance.

I couldn't take my eyes off of it. I ran home after it had passed, called the radio and tv stations and police but nobody else reported seeing anything. I was probably about 21 at the time.

UFO pitstop near Park Blvd. Intercoastal bridge? Date is approximate: 1st year community college, and I'm working on a late art proect in my bedroom that faced a then horse pasture between my home on 80th Ave N. and Park Blvd apprx 100 meters from the intercoastal (sic.

Intracoastal) bridge. The night was dead silent, then all of the sudden I hear a 'Low Whirring/Worbling' sound that completely disturbs the peace from beyond the rear property line. It's about as loud as a tractor trailer idling outside my window.

I'm freaked out so much that turn out my room lights, crawl into bed and pull my sheets over my head while listening to odd sound while trying figuring out what to do next. After 10-15 stressful minutes, the sound immediately fades away, as quickly as it came. 2 to 3 seconds later, I hear 2 helicopters clip the roof of my house at top speed as if in pursuit.

Keep in mind this is in the dead of night! To this day, I still do not know what it was just behind my house that night. Anyone reading this that may have seen this event, please contact me.

A blue, firey ball, about 20 feet wide and 150 feet in the air, flies over head at a slow rate making no sound and lighting up the goun A slow-moving, firey ball, emitting a soft blue light, passed over a group of five teenagers (myself included) at about 100 feet above the tree line some time in 1990. This object made no sound, and it was bright enough to light up the ground and cast leaf-shaped shadows on each of our faces as its light passed through the tree branches over head. It would be hard to estimate size, not knowing the exact altitude of the object, but a guess, based on estimated distance, would be between 10 to 20 feet in diameter.

(Note: Other strange craft in the area had been seen by several of us prior to this experience, though this was the first time any of us had seen something together.) We were setting up a campsite on a friend's property when this happened, and, to be honest, it scared us, and we elected to move indoors for the night.
