A friend and myself were standing on the shore of the Pamlico sound as we observed 4 objects moving in up and down motions for about 30 minutes and then moving across the entire horizon at incredible speeds. Looking at them with binoculars, they appeared to have green, red, and blue lights.

Fast moving object that would just stop and then dart off and then just stop again. At the time of the sighting I lived right outside Fort Bragg, NC. I thought at first that it was a shooting star or perhapps a military plane, because they flew over my home on a regular basis, but this object was different, so it made me stop and look twice.
The object was pretty far up in the sky, it was a bright round looking light. What made me look twice was the fact that the light was sitting still and then it would suddenly dart to a new location and remain still in that spot for a few moments and then dart to a new spot that was a good distance from the last. I just could'nt take my eyes off of it.
This went on for about 8-10 minutes and then it just took off in secounds out of sight, what looked to me to be upward. I had never seen anything that could move so quickly and then just stop and levatate. I have seen lots of military aircraft being so close to Ft.
Bragg and Pope AFB, but I had never seen anything move like this before. I never told anyone what I had seen that night. I just wonder if I was the only one that saw it or did it show up on the military radar.

Yellow/Redish colored UFO on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville,NC. I observed an oval shaped object rise over a nearby mountain on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The object had many lights on it which did not flash.
The UFO was approximatly 1/2-1 mile from me in the air as it ascended above the mountain top. The UFO then slowly moved above my location and then streaked across the sky covering aproximately 30-50 miles in about 1-2 seconds. The UFO then stopped then began to fly north across the mountain range, eventually disappearing from my sight.

Silver cylinder seen close to the ground While driving west on W. Friendly ave. saw a long silver metallic cylinder in the air above a small building.
This building was set back from the road roughly 50 feet. The cylinder was about 15 feet above this building and slightly angled, the right side lower than the left. It was perfectly smooth, no seems, no rivets, no wrinkles, and the ends were dome shaped.
The sun was shining brightly off the right side. It was a little longer than a city bus and about 10 feet in diameter. I looked back at the road and then looked again.
I was now passed the open field around this small building, but could see the left side of the cylinder through a thin spot in the tree canopy.

4 white spheres, seen early night, over Jordan Lake, from corner of Andrews Store Rd. & Chapel Hill Rd. I was going for ride with ex-husband.
We lived on Jack Bennett st., and we had stopped in Cruizer’s gas state for the car to get gas, and husband to get cup of coffee. It was a clear night, no nasty weather.
I was sitting at the entrance of the gas state, waiting for the road to be clear (going to make a right hand turn onto Chapel Hill Rd.), and while I was waiting I just looked up at the sky and noticed the 4 lights. They were: one larger sphere (about twice as big as smaller ones) and 3 smaller ones that were in the positions of “7 o’clock”, “5 o’clock”, and “3 o’clock”, when compared the center large sphere.
They were glowing a perfect white that was nearly bluish, and weren’t flashing, only had that strange flickering as though the air between us was moving their light. The center sphere stood perfectly still, as did the one at 7-o’clock but the other 2 had a strange way that they were moving towards each other: one second they were motionless, then they disappeared and then one second later were glowing again, only they were barely closer together. They continued to flash closer like this for a minute or so.
I pointed them out to the husband, was like “huh… do you see that? What the hell are they.” He said, “huh!” as well, but we honestly didn’t think too much about them, just made our right onto Chapel Hill Rd., and went for our drive.
I know they are un-flashy, but I can never figure out what they were. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

Red lights came out of the water, hovered a few seconds then went up at a slight angle at a speed that was incredible. As big as 3 aircraftcarrirs Six red lights came out of the water about a mile out and stayed perfectly still for a few seconds then it went up at an angle away from me. The speed would hard to explain.
Jet fighters do no even begin to describe the speed. Then a few minutes later another I asume did the same thing but further away from me. What I was most impressed with was the size of the object.
It was at least as long as 3 aircraft carriers.
