Similar UFOs sighted exactly a year apart On Christmas Eve several years ago, my brother and I witnessed a bright red light with smaller moving white lights hover close to our house and shine brightly for several seconds. Because the blinds on the windows were closed, it is difficult to report the actual shape and movement of the object. We do know that it was outside of our second-story window.

Interestingly, we saw another UFO exactly a year later under very similar circumstances, though we believe the second sighting was simply white with no red.

I spotted two triangular craft over the treetops. I was in my car with a friend. It was about 10:00p.

m. when I decided to put in a cd rather than listen to the radio. I was fooling with the stereo when two triangular crafts just above the treetops caught my attention.

You must understand that the view I received didn't allow for more than a glimpse. The crafts had amber colored lights on every angle of them. And you could barely make out the shape of them because they blended in with the rest of the night sky.

Their size was about 100 feet across. Speed must have been about 35 m.p.

h. No noise was heard. It's funny cause when I spotted them I said, "What's that?!" "Do you see that?!" and my friend said they were just helicopters.

They floated right above the treetops very slow and all I caught was a glimpse.

I saw two glowing, softball sized objects fly across the road directly in front of my truck. I was driving early in the morning down Highway 903, through a rural area heading towards LaGrange and saw an object moving incredibly fast fly right across the road in front of my truck. It was moving so quickly that I wasn't sure I had seen anything at all (maybe my imagination ?) until another one flew in front of my truck.

This one I saw as kind of a still picture for an instant: they were about the size of a softball and had an orange glow. They were flying parallel to the ground at about three feet because I remember thinking how glad I was that they didn't hit the little Isuzu truck because they were going so fast that they would have went clean through both doors and me. I always thought they were meteors and maybe they were, but wouldn't they be falling towards the ground instead of moving parallel ? Of course, I only saw them for a split second so maybe they were.

Cigar shaped, silvery-white object @ 500-1,00' up, in a clear blue, cloudless sky. Object was silent, immobile, and when I glanced down and then up (2 sec.) it disappeared.

It was morning, around 9 AM while I was going to work. I had stopped at a red light and glanced upward to see a cigar shaped object, @ 500-1000" up, could not tell how big this was, perhaps 100" in length. It was very silvery, almost white, with the sun glinting on it.

There were no markings, as would be on an airplane. No windows, no doors, no colors, no wings or fin. It was completely stationary.

I stared at it for several seconds, trying to make out if it was an airplane. It was completely silent and not moving at all. I then glanced down to shift gears, then looked back up.

It was gone. This glancing down could not have taken more than 2 secs and when I looked up, it was gone. I frantically searched the sky for it, thinking if it was an airplane it could have moved.

It was no where to be seen. The sky was cloudless and bright blue. Never found it again.

Several stationary white lights in a curved shape My wife and I were visiting Ocracoke, NC during the summer in the late 1990’s. I am unsure of the exact date but we took the trip around the time of my birthday (8-31-64) annually. We were lodging at the Anchorage Marina hotel.

One night we walked to an area between the hotel and the Coast Guard station and sat near the water. There we saw several bright white lights in a curved line shape. The lights looked to be very close to us.

Some of the lights "faded" out, and then re-appeared. The lights remained in the same geometrical formation during the time that we looked at them. We heard no sound although the wind blows heavily on the island.

The lights were stationary while we watched them. They appeared to be connected although we were unable to make out an object. There is very little light pollution on the island so the lights were very bright and clear.

At first we were intrigued by what we were looking at but we began to feel uncomfortable and walked back to the hotel after 3-4 minutes. Later that year we saw a TV show about the lights over Phoenix. The video shown on the TV show looked identical to the lights that my wife and I saw that night on Ocracoke Island.

I recently watched a TV show called “I Know What I Saw”. The program begins with the Phoenix lights. This prompted me to report our sighting.

I thought it might be interesting to researchers that my wife and I saw the same lights while in Ocracoke, NC around the same time that people in the Phoenix area witnessed them. I doubt this makes any difference but I’ll provide my wife and my backgrounds. We lived in Raleigh, NC at the time of our sighting.

while standing outside my car in front of food store, a huge metal-grey oblong unidentifiably-shaped object suddenly soared over the front top of the store at a very low altitude; it was probabably as big as a medium-sized house. it was on fire and the fire was very blue near the center around the object. it looked on fire; very hot.

a neighbor my husband and i frequently meet on the street at nights when excersizing also told us he saw the exact same thing i saw. he was also very amazed i know the approximate location where it might have gone down. i know i can never find it as the area is approx.

4 square miles.

A cigar shaped craft with 2 6-ft tall beings obucted me and later crashed in the mountians of lake lure. one late night me and to others were standing outside admireing the stars, when my two friends went inside to use the bathroom. All of a sudden,when they came back they found me gazeing in shock up at the sky.

There we saw a cigar shaped craft, glowing green, and it was setting down in a near by feild. Being the curious people we are, we went to check it out. Suddenly the craft opened, and two creatures about 6FT tall, greyish-blue in color, with what looked like armor on, steped out.

At that moment my two friends started to run. But I was not so lucky. Before I could get away, the creatures caught me.

They took me aboard there craft, and put me in what was a weird cage. These creatures did not speak with words, instead they used telepaphy. Some how I could hear there thoughts as well as them hearing mine.

They then started telling me "that if our world wanted to capure and torment his kind, they would retaliate. I did not understand this at first, but soon did. I then asked where they were from.

they told me they came from beyond 300 million light years.i asked how they could travel so far. they then told me something I did not understand.

one said "we came at millions of times the speed of light, because we use the speed of gravity which is faster than light". I asked how it was possible to travel that fast it told me that the shape of the craft in which we travel is key. Only a sauser shape or cigar shape,or round vessil could travel that fast because of the pressure that is excerted on a craft at that high a speed.

though we were communicating rather well, something went terribly wrong. We crashed into the mountians at lake lure,i regained consciousness about 1 hr later,and found no signs of anything around.this really happened,i don't know what to think,except there is other life out there, ((name deleted)) ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

Summary : A bright light with a long tail (presumed to be a meteroite) was sited moving slowly across the eastern sky, in a south to north direction. The object faded out and the mountain valley had the odor of smoke. My brothers were standing on the back porch, around 10:00 pm.

One of them noticed a slow moving firey orange light traveling in a north to south direction in the eastern sky. He called it to the attention of my other brother, so both of them witnessed the site. My brothers noticed that our horses became excited as the intensity of the object's brightness decreased.

The object appeared to burn out and the mountain valley appeared to become foggy. The odor smoke was quite strong and noted by others who had no idea of what had just happened. I, myself, witnessed the smokey odor and the fogginess of the mountian valley (as seen through the security lights at night).

Because of the smokiness, we were concerned about the possibility of a fire, so we reported this event to the sheriff's office by calling 911. No noise was noted when the object disappeared, so we assumed that the object disintegrated in the air and that there was no impact. We believe this object was possibly a meteriote, and would like to report this to whoever would be interested.

1997 rotating stars positioned to left and right of moon do fast clockwise rotations I was on hwy 70 west one summer in 97 I was traveling back to my current home in Pikeville and just had gotten a mcdonalds big mac after work, It was a clean night and decided to look up at the moon. That is when I seen 2 star like objects "white light as of a star" Which I thought it was a star at first and also thought it was a bit strange that one was to the left of the moon and the other to the exact right. They were brighter than normal stars I thought so I observed them just because it was cool.

Then I noticed they appeared to do a clockwise rotation very quickly around the moon back to there places they were at. I thought at this point that I must be seeing things so I pulled over off the exit to William st off 70 west and sat in my pickup truck bed. The stars kept doing the same rotation and it was very fast and I know that that is not normal.

So After seeing this I needed a witness so I rushed home to pikeville to inform my roomate of this and in the 20 min it took to get home they stopped and dissapeared. I did not see them dissapear it is almost like they dimmed and blended back in with the regular stars. Between all this and the ghosts I have bumped into the past 7 years I am starting to open up to the fact that some strange stuff is going on.

Figure eight flying light over Asheville As I was leaving work I was driving the stretch of highway between Oteen and Swannanoa headed home. I was the only car on the road for the time. I noticed movement in the sky, so I slowed down to get a better look.

I saw what I first thought could have been an low flying airplane or a helicopter, then my view was obstructed by some trees hanging off a cliff where the road curves around. As I rounded the curve I looked back at the object and noticed that it was moving in a figure eight pattern. I slowed even more to get an even better look at it.

Then it took off in a streak of light at an angle but upwards into space. The object was too far for me to make out any details, but it emitted a brilliant white light. I would say that it was spherical or circular in shape from the shape of the light I saw.

cloud formation & craft My son and I were at the local drive-in sitting in the back of my pickup during intermission, in lounge chairs looking up at the stars and talking. The sky was clear and all the stars were easy to see. up to the right, this cloud formation began to appear with yellow, red and blue hues.

Then this shiny long vessel with a long white tail went into the cloud , and the cloud closed up like it wasn't even there to begin with. it looked just like that worm hole they made on the t.v.

series Deep Space Nine. My son was in high school at the time and is in computers heavy now. I was and still am a sci-fi nut, always reading and hunting.

((NUFORC Note: One of two dramatic sighting reports, submitted by a person who identifies himself as a student in the fifth grade. In 1997, he would have to have been 5 or 6 years of age. Witness writes exceptionally well for a 5th grader, we feel.

I compliment the Fayetteville, NC, K12 school district. PD)) Triangular craft followed on foot, and gray at my window. Seperate and presumably unrelated experiences Hello Again.

I have decided to contact you about another of my past sightings. I never remember the exact dated, I probably should be writing them down, but at the time of the event I never seem to think about that, only wishing that I had a camcorder or decent camera to capture my experience. It was again in the summer, and later in the evening probably about 11:00 and my brother, and long time friend were outside looking at the night sky.

Because the three of us have a history of being in the right place at the right time we often look for ufo's. Most of the time we go inside without any remarkable events, but sometimes we do see something we can't explain. Most of the things I've seen were just odd lights behaving oddly, and could be anything really.

But this one time it was definately a craft of uncommon design. Now weather it was experimental earthbound technology or extraterrestrial I will never know. As I stated in my previous posting that I live in the vacintity of sevral air ports both commertial and military, as well as sevral military bases, and I would assume sevral more that I'm not aware of.

So here's the story. We were outside, when my friend looked up over the treeline and saw a large low altitude low speed triangular object. It had a red light at each corner, and it made absolutely no sound.

It seemed to drift, and sort of reminded me of the way one of those toy hovercrafts moves, but with more stability. It was about 100 or 200 feet above the treeline and moved at a rate slow enough that we could walk and keep up with it. No sound or exhaust what so ever.

We followed it around the block for about thirty minutes after watching it for about 10 or 15 in our front yard before it moved off in a direction that we did not have street access to follow, and so we watched it as it dissapeared in the distance. Of all the sightings I have had, that was the first where the actual body of the craft was visible. It was very large, about 200 feet acrost, and moved in a slow lazy fascioun, sort of like the occupants had no worries about being seen.

As I above stated about the glut of local airports large and small, there was no way in hell that what ever we saw was unnoticed by radar towers, and other people. Being the most up close and personal encounter of such a large and obvious craft in the sky, I am asking anyone reading on this board who is also from Fayetteville NC, or surrounding cities who may have seen a similar object in the summer of 95-98, I'm pretty sure it was within those years but don't remember exactly when. It was before I got my first computer in late 98, and before playstation took hold in the video gaming community so that should give you a basic esitmate when I saw it.

I regret not remembering the exact times and dated when I have these sightings. I know it makes it hard for you guys to make a thourough documentation. As of this night when I have newly found this forum I am going to make better documentation of my sightings.

I bought a digital camera for the reason of taking pictures of them. howerver it is a cheap 50$ camera and preforms so poorly in low light conditions I am not going to bother to use it to take pictures of ufo's, after all since it's digital there can come the accusation of altering them, and I know some about computer graphics so I could, and since the quality is so poor it could be anything. So to not give myself the reputation of a hoaxer looking for publicity I will not bother to send any pictures.

However I could draw pictures, but that's really no better than my descriptions. I am very very interested in looking up sightings from my area of the US in hopes to find someone describing similar sightings. I know that If I see something, there is a good chance someone else did as well.

Something is definately going on. Black book experiments, physical extraterrestrials, or demonic desception are all theories I have come acrost in my personal research, and truthfully there is no data that leans the case in one direction or the other. I have not only seen objects in the sky, but a being at my window.

I was in fifth grade when that happened so that would make it around 94 or 95. I saw this triangular craft after the window encounter. The odd thing about that is that It was late in the evening before the sun went down and I had been up all night.

I had the blinds pulled up, and a bunk bed that raised me perfectly level with the window. As I went to pull down the shades a thought hit me, and I thought something to the tune of. "Why bother? Leave it up.

It's not like you're going to actually see anything. and there's a large bush and tree in front of my window so on one is going to look in on me from the street." So I was in bed and I had dozed off for a few hours.

By the time I woke up it was dark. and I know I wasn't asleep because I lay there with my eyes open, view of the window blocked my my blankets debating on getting up or going back to sleep. When I finally decided to get up, I saw up and saw it.

It was a very odd experience because I only cought a glimps of it for about a second before I threw my head back under my blankets and began praying to every God I could think of to not let something grab me. I had a vertigo almost tunnle vision, where my perriferal vision was blurred, and somewhat blocked, and there was an odd time distortion feeling. I can't exactly explain it but it seemed like time slowed down in the second I looked at this thing.

I later found out from my brother that this which I was describing was known as "the oz factor." and is quite common. At the time he rea! d more UFO and paranormal books than I did.

I wasn't much of a reader back in those days. What I saw was a pearly white almost luminous though it didn't appear to be glowing. I could not see the tree of bush behind it, only a inky black void, and it seemed like it and I were all that existed in my sences at the time.

I didn't recieve any telepathic communication, no words in my head. but thinking back on it I didn't get a hostile feeling from it, only the fear of actually seeing an alien. It had the usual diamond shaped bulbous head, it had no nasil opening, no nose protrustion or mouth.

In fact I got the impression that I was looking at some sort of mask because it was very smooth, and almost had a designed look to it. The eyes were a glassy black, but they were not slanted tear drop shaped like you commonly hear described. They were flat on the top and bottom, rounded on the inside edges and wrapped around the sides of the head like sunglasses, or more accurately a dragonfly's eyes.

So I threw my head under my blankets, too scared to move a muscle or make a peep wondering which was worse it being there to take me or there to put me back, and I'm not sure how much time i lay there before I got the courage to take a look to find nothing was amiss. Needless to say I got the hell out of that room pronto, and stayed up all night clutching a butcher knife. I must say that it was that event that sparked a great deal of my curiosity.

I had known about UFO's before and seen strange lights, but never an encounter so up close and personal with something that I could not explain away as a shooting star, or satelight, or unidentified form of uncommon airplane, not exactly one that is top secret but one uncommon enough to not be identified as an airplane. Now I have nightmares, and have had all my life, some of them of UFO themes, but I do not notice any missing time, or have any screen memories or abduction memories, so either I am not an abductee, or I don't remember the events. I would like the first of the two to be true.

I know this is a rather lingthy post describing the two most undeniable encounters I have had with unknown beings. I have not seen any odd lights since at least 2000, and I have never before or since seen an actual alien being. I do have a 3d rendering of what I saw, which I don't even like to look at because of how well I reproduced what I remember seeing.

It still scares me to this day. Someone please tell me where I can locate others who are sincere about their experiences where I can relate and recieve stories and compaire and contrast. Something is going on, and it's only a matter of time before we find out what it is.

Three points of light in triangle alignment. Saw three points of light come from the West, all fixed as if they were each a point of one triangle - they stayed in this alignment the entire time. The lights were bright and stood out against the night sky.

I was never able to make out an object, only lights. Traveling at an unbelievable speed, the object(s) came to a complete stop without even slowing down. It hovered for less than a second, then continued East at the same speed before coming to a second complete stop.

The object never took time to speed up or slow down. It hovered for less than a second again before traveling at the same speed but in the reverse direction - towards the West. The object stopped a third time, again without taking time to slow down.

The object then continued in the original direction until it was out of sight. The entire episode lasted less than five seconds. The lights were amber colored.

Witness to a large, smooth, silent sphere, kind of the color of the moon. It was about eleven years ago when seven of my friends and I were jumping on my trampoline in my back yard. I was only ten years old, but I'll never forget anything about the night.

It was probably one of the clearest nights, and the moon was either full, or close to it. I was playing with my friends, just goofing off, and I jumped in a circle. When I turned I saw something in the sky that, kind of resembled a smaller moon.

It was just below and to the right of where the moon was positioned, and it was really close to our houses. I stopped jumping and watched it; I could feel that everyone was still jumping. I didn’t even think to get their attention, because I didn’t want to look away.

It was a huge sphere in the sky, about the same color of the moon, but completely smooth. As I continued to watch it, it dipped down, came up again, dipped behind the top of the trees, came up again, and then finally disappeared behind the trees. It never made a sound.

I watched to see if it would come up again, but it didn’t. From my point of view, it looked like it had landed in the softball field behind my friend’s house; that friend was jumping on the trampoline with me at that moment. I turned around quickly to tell everyone what I had seen, when one of my other friends said, "Did you see that?!" Everyone stopped to listen to what we both saw, but none of them had seen it but us.

Shining like a sparkler and brighter than the sun in broad daylight. Me and my cousin were coming back from eating at a restaurant in Salisbury N.C.

We were headed south on main and 29 by airport road in Salisbury. The sun was coming from the right side of us in his car. There was a even bigger light shining from our left and I thought it was odd.

Me and him looked to our left and saw what looked like a sparkler being burnt. The object was as big as a house. It than took off and was gone in less than a second.

It made no sound like a jet engine would make and did not make a sound. I remember that it took off and was light years away in less than a second. When me and my cousin looked at it, it was like they read our minds and knew to get out of there fast.

The whole encounter took less than ten seconds. It was so bright that looking at it and getting a detailed description of the craft is not possible. It looked like a sparkler.

Unusual aircraft or ?? I live near a military base. I have seen every kind of military aircraft known, but I have never seen anything like or since what I saw on 6/4/97. It was approximately 8:30 pm and I went outside to put the windows up on the car.

As I was outside, I looked to the NE sky and noticed something flying low. It's normal for military aircraft to fly low in this area, but the light pattern was strange. It had only red lights in the front and a very unusual pattern I've never seen before (that's what caught my attention), and I could see that from the trajectory of the way it was flying that it would come over my head.

During this time, I noticed recognizable military aircraft flying around but keeping distance. Anyhow, this aircraft came over my head, and I did not hear any engine noise. It was HUGE! I could see small white lights on either side which would be at the end of each wing(?).

I was transfixed by this sight and continued to watch. Then the view changed as the object went over my head and was moving away from me, and there was a plasma white color in the middle of the back, similar to the color of an afterburner on an F-18. This unknown aircraft was not flying quickly; it was not an F-18.

It continued past me in the opposite direction. All of a sudden, two red lights shot out from it, and then I saw a triangular pattern of lights--the white light had gone off and was replaced by red. Then, the top two red lights shot off together and one of the military jets headed in that direction, and then the object lit up the back again, and went the opposite direction, with 2 jets following along behind it.

I stood there wondering what I had just seen and my first idea was maybe the B-2 Stealth at night, but I really couldn't say for sure. Maybe it was simply some sort of night-time military exercise---which is the impression I got, but what I saw didn't really make sense, and like I say, I've seen all kinds of military aircraft flying (except for the B-2). I know of no aircraft that flies arou! nd here that doesn't make any kind of noise.

This whole incident I had still puzzles me to this day.

5 Triangles between Edenton and Hertford NC. Its been years sense this happened and unfortunately I didn’t know who to go to about this information until after watching The Phoenix Incident at the end of the movie which led me to you. I remember it as if it happened yesterday.

We had this couple over to install a new central air conditioning system in our house on East Bear Swamp Rd in Hertford NC. I believe this happened in spring of 97. It was just cool enough outside to wrap up in my Garfield sleeping blanket.

The couple had just finished installing the AC unit in our house and had ordered pizza that they were eating with my parents in the studio my father and I had built inside the barn out back. I came outside and laid down on our cement driveway and leaned my back onto the brick of the house beside the garage entrance. I laid there for about 30 min when in the distance I could see 6 lights coming from the direction of Edenton moving north towards Hertford.

I could barely make them out because of ! the city lights coming from Edenton. I kept watching them thinking to myself it was probably just helicopters on their way to Blackwater Base located near Elizabeth City. But as I watched them more I could distinctly make out they were not individual aircraft, it was just two.

How could I tell it was just two? Because the stars would disappear behind each 3 lights, thus making them a triangular shape. I quickly jumped up and ran as fast as I possibly could to the barn where the couple and my parents were. I yelled at them to run to the front of the house and see these UFOs.

We all ran back to the front and watched in awe as they went overhead. Not a single sound….nothing, it was as if they were giant triangle balloons.

A white/silverfish light at each corner. One triangle was ahead of the other, side by side. Like a formation.

For example. A A As they got directly above our heads we could identify almost how big they were. They were at LEAST 3 football fields wide each if not more.

As we followed them towards the back of the house I quickly remembered to look at my watch to see what time it was, I believe it was around 9:15 or 10:15 at night. Sense my uncle worked for the DEA, I wanted to make sure I got as much info as I had so that I could tell him. I was young so I thought maybe my uncle would know something about them.

Anyway, as we watched them fly over and towards Hertford, we could slowly begin to see a VERY CLEAR shape to them as the lights of Hertford were blotted out in the sky of these triangle shaped craft. We watched them until we couldn’t see them any longer. Now, here is where it gets VERY weird.

Remember how I looked at my watch and remembered the time? Well the next night I thought to myself….why the hell not go outside about 15 min before the last time I saw them and see if they appear again. So….

that’s just what I did. I went outside and stood in our driveway, scanning the open fields and the far off tree line. And to my utter breath taking surprise…low and behold there they were again.

Except this time…there wasn’t just two. There were three. I couldn’t believe it.

I was in absolute shock. Almost to the point of fear. I ran to the front door of our house and into the bedroom of my parents, woke them up and told them that the ships were back.

I remember my father saying “You’re kidding right?” my mother said “Are you serious?” and I said “Yes im fucking serious, get your asses up NOW and get outside before they are gone!” So we all ran outside and we stood in front of our house in just utter shock. Just in disbelief. The fo! rmation was strange though.

The two like before were in the same pattern, but the third was not. It was way off in the distance. For example.

A A A I looked at my watch again and saw it was the EXACT same time as before. And I wish to god I could say that these were some sort of military aircraft or coast guard or SOMETHING of this world. But these things were HUGE, too big for there not to be any sound what so ever, and going only about a mile an hour.

VERY slow. No flashing lights like on a plane or helicopter, to markings of any type, I even used my binoculars to look at it that I had grabbed on the way out of the house and it was like looking into nothingness. Just pure black.

We watched these ufos just as we did the last time, until they disappeared into the horizon of Hertford. Now I am not sure if the police had been notified in Hertford either one of those nights. But the second night we saw these things we all of a sudden heard many many sirens coming from Hertford, police sirens.

Also after these sightings…I noticed 2 weird scars on my left and right hand. One was oval shaped and another was in the perfect shape of an L. the oval being on my left and the L on my right.

My uncle did ask me at one point “after I my parents and I told him about the sighting” if I had looked at the time before AND after the sighting, to see if more time had passed by than there should have been. I told him no, I had only looked at my watch once, both times. I never looked at my watch –after- the sightings.

Which this was weird that he had asked me this. I never did tell him of the scars though. I’ve never told anyone of the scars until now actually.

Because I honestly don’t know if they were a result of these sightings or not. And I don’t want to say anything that’! s not true or get any hopes up. But as I said, I did have scars after these sightings that I had never seen before nor did I know where they came from.

Also, I think I should let you know, this wasn’t the only sighting I have seen. There was one other, but it was on the same road not but a mile from my house, and only about a night later. I am not sure if I need to make a separate report or not so I will just mention it on here.

Not in full detail but the 3rd sighting was of orbs, and involved a family that lived down the road from us. Which one of the members was a cop. If you wish to know more about this as well then let me know and I will file another report.

As for my parents, I live with them now and they would have no problem at all answering any questions you also may have for them. Ever sense these sightings I always look to the stars, hoping to see them again. Even though they frighten the heck out of me…I cant help but be curious in trying to figure out what they are, who they are, where they come from and what do they want.

What is the end game. Also I will send some pictures of where this took place and pictures of a map of the area, direction of ufo and direction of where we were looking and where we were. I will send these via e-mail in a day or two.
