About 0600 am going to work i saw this most unusual light from something overhead. About 0600 just before day I was going to work . I had just turned onto an dirt road about 3 miles long and straight as an arrow.

When i saw this bright light .It first seemed to be going off and back on andcomeing toward me at a verry high rate of speed. It was verry foggy that morning and as it got closer it seemed even more strange and it was lighting the cab of my pickup almost like day light.

I stoped my truck and got out and stood beside as it passed over my head It was verry unusual. It seemed more like it was geting daylight and going dark again and not makeing a sound . When i arrived at the office one of my coworkers wes already there he had seen the same thing .

He was in a field beside the road i was traveling on going to his deer stand .He surned around and changed his mind about his hunt .I cant explain it.

But it was something verry strange , verry bright and unusual.It lit up the cab of my truck like day time. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the incident is approximate.

Summary : A blue grayish kind of light. It was sometime in October when I spent the night at a friends house. Sometime in the early morning hours, I had awakened and looked out the window and saw this blue-gray light that had the apperance of drifting.

(No unusual noise at all.) The diamater of this light looked to be the same as a pencil. I could not see a beam of anykind, but when I started to get up to investigate, the light turned towards me (Clockwise looking down.

) and shined in my right eye. The light was not like any I have seen before. It wasn't like a doctor's pen light, the light did not cause me to squint.

The light didn't have to search for my eye, it went right to in a fraction of a second. Looking into the light, I could not see around the edges and in some way it reminded of chalk. The best I can remember, I only looked at the light about 1 second.

Next thing I remembered, I didn't want to get up and go to the window anymore to investigate what was out there. That isn't like me, I am the type that would be the first one there, but after the light, I kept on thinking to myself "I can get up and look, but I don't want to." I didn't at that time felt that I was held back in any way.

BTW, I didn't see any kind of craft.

Triangular Object Sighted at Very Close Range Peter I am sending this report on behalf of a friend. I will relate the incident as told me in the first person, although I helped compose the report. We have tried to be as accurate as possible.

I visited the location of this sighting with the witness and indeed she was very close to the object. This sighting location is 6 to 7 miles SW from the runway at Robins Air Force Base. A bit south of Hwy.

96 and west of Moody Road, the exact location not being specified for this report. The year was 1997, and I’m not absolutely sure, but I think it was in the fall. It was early evening and my boyfriend and I were sitting on the trunk of his car in the driveway to his house, by the side of the road.

It is a two-lane paved road through a residential area, and on the side opposite us there was a thin stand of trees, maybe 30 ft tall and behind them was an open field. How the object arrived is still a bit fuzzy to me and I can’t be sure if it just appeared or came up quickly while we were looking the other way. I just remember it was “there” hovering just above the tree tops on the other side of the road.

It was triangular in shape, but the sides were curved outward instead of being straight. It was a deep black in color, and although it was dark, there was a full or nearly full moon, and we could easily see it. About half of it was over the trees and the rest was in our view while it was hovering.

It actually protruded out over the road. It was maybe 30 feet across at the widest point. Surprisingly I was not scared at all, but rather very fascinated.

I surely didn’t know what to think as nothing of this sort had ever happened to me before. I even waved my arms and tried to talk to “it”, but there was no indication from the object that it ever noticed us. The top was dome shaped, there were no lights, it made absolutely no sound of any kind, no humming, no whirring, nothing! We were within 50-75 feet of the object the entire time.

After hovering for several minutes, it moved slowly across the road and over us and then accelerated at an unbelievable rate to the WNW and was out of sight in less that two seconds, maybe even one. My mother and I were driving down Alabama Hwy, when a round silver shiny object appeared in My driver side window. It stayed right Beside me as I drive 55 mph in my window . Almost as if it was observing.

It was The size of a large beach ball and chrome Looking. I was in shock & couldn't speak. As I went to grab my mom, it shot straight Up in the sky.

And I've never seen anything Like it again. It's hard to believe but true. I have no reason to lie.

2 friends and I saw a metallic flying saucer shaped craft up close at night. This sighting was 25 years ago, I feel the need to report it. School had just started back, I was 17 in 1997.

Two friends and I were driving on Carnes Rd. in Jonesboro GA, at approximately 11 PM. There is a sharp hairpin turn on Carnes Rd.

, where a GA Power right of way power line intersects the road. There were no other vehicles on the road, and as we slowed to turn around the hairpin , we saw these very colorful lights coming from the trees about 500 yards up the power line to our right at the hairpin turn. We could hear a very high pitched sound along with it.

I was sitting in the back seat, and my friend driving slowed to a crawl. We saw the lights proceeding down the hill getting closer, we had basically stopped in the road. It was an object, completely silent except this high pitched inaudible "sound".

The craft was approximately 40 feet in diameter , and flew at an altitude of no higher than 80 feet. It was slightly higher than the height of the trees. It was a metallic disk, covered in brilliantly flashing colored lights.

The lights seemed to come through the craft, they were not points of light they came through the metal. It was shiny metal, and I clearly remember seeing it seemed to be made of panels. It flew at no faster than 30 mph.

The manner that it flew was exactly like Kenneth Arnold's "skipping saucer" it bounced along and was clearly under intelligent control. I do not remember this part, but my friend who was driving said that it illuminated us with a brilliant white spotlight as it passed overhead. I have no memory of missing time, it was a seamless event.

My stepbrother and one of the witnesses lived nearby this power line very close by in this neighborhood, and had seen the same object on foot about two years prior to this event.

An alien had sex with me I don't know what time it was I just remember it was night. I awoke and saw 2 ailen looking creatures at the foot of my bead, they looked just like the one on the TV alien autopsey film. I rember not being able to move nor was I afrade but actualy I knew their intent and was shamefully looking forward to the encounter.

I was concerned that my wife would wake up but I could hear the alien telling me she would not wake up and that "this" would not take long. One of them moved towards my head and then I could not see the other one although I was looking for it. Summary : I was in the car at the gas station when a huge green fireball or light fly across the sky. It must have been going VERY fast. It flew across half of the sky in about 4 seconds.

It did not have a tail of ANY kind. It was just a huge ball of light. It did not look like ANY shooting star I have ever seen.

It did not make any sound. I lost sight of it once it went past some trees. Ok, I am a 17 year old teenager.

I have been intersted in UFOs for years. I was in the car at a gas station when I saw a huge green fire ball or ball of light fly across half of the sky. It was VERY fast.

It looked like it was a ball shape. It did not make any sound. It did not look like any shooting star I have ever seen.

yellow 'perfect' sphere crossed entire viewable sky in about 4 sec., flashing off/on intermittently Went on back porch to check telescope viewing conditions, saw it out of corner of eye, then again as it flashed back on, was able to guestimate when it would 'come on again' which it did directly in front of me, and one last time at the other side of viewable horizon, total 'on' flashes 4 or 5, covered about 150 degrees of sky in 4 sec.This thing was moving very fast, couldn't tell distance, made no noise.

I always had wanted to see a UFO,have always been interested in them, now wish I wouldn't have seen it, as I'll never know what it was, or its origin. I even called Art Bell, spoke to him off the air, he mentioned on the air that "? will prob go the way of most UFO sightings" meaning unreported.He asked me to call Peter Davenport, he seemed to be able to tell that I wouldn't.

This is why he mentioned it when he returned to the air.

Summary : At around 1:30 am. we saw a light searching the top of the trees.We discounted it as a hellicopter of poachers.

After aboout an hour,hour and a half a bright light lit up the trees dirctallyin front of us for about 8 sec. It subsided andthe light started searching the trees again.Half an hour later the trees lit up again.

By this time we decided to check it out.We went into the woods and nothing was there.we went back to the cabin and waited.

It started happeningagain.

Daytime sighting of spheres over Midtown Atlanta. I was taking off work early to take pictures of Hale-Bopp in a rather dark part of the state, SW of Atlanta, later that night. I don't recall the exact date, but Hale-Bopp was pretty bright, the weather wasn't too cool and it was mostly overcast and windy (westerly) that day and clear that night (around Columbus, GA).

Anyway, I left work in Midtown Atlanta and as I approached my truck I looked up at the sky, hoping it would clear by night and noticed in a clear area first 3 objects that were stationary in a triangle formation and then a 4th object that was nearby them and to the south of the three. I saw these objects as I was facing the west and they were to the NE of me, pretty high up. They where all alike, silver spheres and intially were stationary.

They looked like many of the objects in home movies objects seen in Mexico. I framed them against a tall building to see if they were moving and they were not. The wind was moving the clouds at a pretty good rate so I didn't think they were ballons.

They seemed above the clouds. Then, one by one, they slowly moved to the south. As they started moving and with all the cloud cover, I lost them pretty quickly.

I wished I had a pair of binoculars and the next week I put a pair in the truck. The next week, looking for the objects as I was heading to the parking lot, I saw a similar object that with the naked eye looked like a silver sphere. It was lower and moving faster then the first objects that had seemed to almost drift.

Through the binoculars it looked like it had a small red tail. The only thing I could think of is that it was a helicopter. But the original group seemed too high for helicopters unless they have pressurized cabins.

Summary : object travelled at approx 800feet. moving north to south over savannah international airport at about 500 mph. no engine noise or exhaust.

made sharp 90 degree turn to east towards city of savannah Ga. I was proceeding from I 95 to work at Gulfstream aerospace down back road from Savannah international airport, when I saw what I first thought was an aircraft in landing approach. Object was about the size of a Large fighter jet or small executive jet such as a learjet.

The craft was of a shiny polished mettalic appearance it was travelling at a much higher than normal speed for a landing aircraft (est 400-500mph.) Altitude appeared to be about 800 to 1000 feet.coming from due north, .

the craft overflew the north south runway of the airport then made a sharp left turn and went out of sight heading east towards Savannah Ga.Ther was no engine noise, no visible exhaust, no propellers. Seen from the side the craft appeared to have short stubby wings or none at all.

the fuselage was more rounded or domed than normal aircraft, although It did not appear to have the classic saucer shape. I Have worked at Gulfstream aerospace and have seen a wide variety of aircraft landing and taking off at Savannah Intenational, and have never seen an aircraft of this type before.

I saw the UFO behind Comet Hail Bop,it came frome behind and below the comet,almost like a sling shoot. This is what i can rememer of my account,this is when comet hail-bop was visible to earth by the eye,i wish i wrote down the date,but i didnt think that was the important part,the important part is a saw a ufo that night,it was toward the end of the veiwing cycle,i think it was 6days or more.I was facing i would say north west at about 8:00pm est.

and comet hail bop is moving right to left(not visible ofcourse)and from behind and below the comet came a ball of light with its own tail in what was a half circle then dissepered.The oblect of light was about 1/10 the size of the comet,and im guessing even smaller because of shinning light factor,it might have appeared bigger. I dont know how ive held all this in,im glad i did a search about comet hail bop's ufo and stumbled upon this site where i could releive myself in away.

I know there was alot of hype around that time because of heavens gate,I really beleived it was true when i saw the ufo that night,it was either the day after the suicide or that night,i felt so good that i saw it,i know it sounds weird,but i did,im among the few,but many now,i hope someone else experienced the same thing.I know i could have searched for the dates of the suicide to make it look more accurate,but i know the truth,and i dont need to prove to someone else,but i wanted to share this in the way i see it every day,not accurate but real,and the way i remember it.I really want to share this,and see if other people have come out to share what they saw that night,i cant be the only one that was looking up at that moment.

Boomerang UFO sits on barn This report was made by ISUR. I would like to add additional info. that was not listed.

When first seeing the moving lights(several in the trees next to barn about 100ft away from me) I thought it was helicopters, but there was no sound. After opening the gate, I looked up the balls of light morphasized into a boomerang shaped craft and was sitting on top of my barn with wings overlapping both sides of the barn(150 ft wide)and just 15 ft above my head. It was of unusual texture, almost like a shark, did not reflect light and was boomerang in shape.

I was not afraid at all. The really strange part of the story was after opening the gate for my husband to drive in.(He always waits for me to close gate and get back in the car)This time he drove right passed me and did not stop.

Somehow I got to the entrance of the barn before he did and was there when he got out of the car.(I can not get this point off of my mind and I wonder if we were abducted) There did seem to be some time lapse of 30 to 45 minutes. We both watched the UFO disappear over the barn.

It seemed to go invisable and we could see stars through it. Over a year later we were informed by ISUR that a neighbor(in his seventies) had seen so many lights over and around our barn that he had bought a Video Camero in hopes of video taping the lights. This makes over 5 people other that my husband and myself that had seen ufo type objects over our farm.

The following is the case study by ISUR At approx. 11:30 pm on a weekday evening during the first week of March 1997 (*there is some uncertainty as to the exact day), Mr. and Mrs.

Doe (pseudonyms) were returning to their home, located east of the city of Canton, in unincorporated Cherokee County GA. The Does run a horse farm, utilizing a large industrial-type building (which they call a"barn") located some 200-300 feet off the highway. As they got up to the fence gate at the end of the driveway, Mrs.

Doe noticed a large, lighted object up above and to the right, above some very tall pine trees. From the car, both witnesses then observed the object begin to descend, moving toward a position above their barn, in a series of jerky, stop-and-go motions. Mrs.

Doe got out of the car to open the gate, and both continued to observe the object while Mr. Doe pulled the car forward to the front of the barn. The witnesses state that the object was hovering only a slight distance (perhaps 10-20 feet) above the barn.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Doe walked forward to a point at the corner of the building, where she could clearly see the object directly above her. About the time Mr.

Doe got out of the car, the object vanished. The two are not sure whether the disappearance was by "blinking off like a lightbulb" (Mr. Doe' impression), or by near-instantaneous acceleration and flying away (Mrs.

Doe's impression). Total time of the sighting was estimated, with difficulty, as 3-5 minutes. The object was described as triangular or boomerang-shaped, and very dark, "darker than shadow," "darker than black.

" There was one "dull red" light at each (side) end of the object, while the other corner was unlit. It appeared to be as wide as the building (approximately 120 feet). Mr.

Doe said that the area between the "arms" of the "V" was difficult to see and may have been either solid (making it a triangle) or not really filled in (making it more like a boomerang shape). Finally, even though the farm houses about 50 horses as well as geese, cats and dogs, both witnesses noted a total, complete silence throughout the event, a silence the witnesses felt was very strange. Mrs.

Doe states that she was not going to report the sighting until a property developer working on a nearby parcel of land came to her home, introduced himself, and said that some men working for him had seen a football-field-sized object above the Doe's property. After the encounter described here, Mrs. Doe then found ISUR's website.

An onsite interview and walk-through was conducted by ISUR investigator and myself on 6/12/97. The two witness' accounts matched up well, although not perfectly, which does not support the idea of a preplanned deception. Mr.

Doe could not verify his wife's first impression of a more-lighted object when she initially saw it, although he says that from the drivers' seat he was not in position to see it well. Driving onto the driveway at a later time, I judged that this makes sense; and also, I noted that the driveway lacks enough angle to put a car's headlights up enough to have struck an object hovering above the barn, so there is no logical discrepancy there. Mr.

Doe is an amateur astronomer and states that he is very familiar with the night sky, and had recently spent considerable time viewing comet Hale-Bopp. ((NUFORC Note: "Mr. and Mrs.

SUMMARY: The night of this event I was coming home from a boy scout campout with some other boys when we saw the objects. We saw 4 objects. One was white and was disk shaped.

Another we couldn't make it out because it only had the colors of green, red,orange, and thats all remember. The others looked exactly like that.I have seen many other objects too.
