North Carolina UFO Sightings in 2020

Yellow light moving north over Oak Island NC Yellow light moved from south to north and disappeared. As it passed the light turned red and faded out. It was brighter than a star or planet.

It looked similar to landing light but no flashing wing lights were seen and I could hear no noise. Object appeared relatively low and certainly under 5000 feet. It kept on a straight path.

Anyone else see this?.

I saw a large solid black circle next to a cloud parking my car. It was perfectly still and did not move. I continued to stare at it and then it started to appear to shrink into itself and completely disappearing.

Bight white orb moving fast but fluid in multiple direction in sky. Possibly saw another orb couldn’t confirm. Went outside to let my dog out to use the bathroom.

I usually look up at the stars naturally being curious if I would see anything but not actually trying to find a UFO. I noticed an airplane headed left to my direction until suddenly a bright white orb appeared. I noticed it was gliding across the sky very fast, faster then the airplane.

The white orb did not have blinking lights except for the one time when I noticed it and I felt like it noticed me and flashed red. After that it continued to move across the sky until it got I line with may sight. Another object appeared and they seemed to be in sync somewhat.

The orb coming from the right direction went above the first orb I saw and they both proceeded to move in upward direction very high in the sky. They both eventually came to a stop and remained for about 5-10 minutes just moving in a vertical direction, up and down very fluidly. I ran inside to grab my phone and managed to get :30 sec of video footag! e before the object came down to about horizon level and proceeded to move across the sky until out of my sight.

Driving home probably 6-8 pm et. Saw a very bright white light (looked exactly like a bright star) fall straight downward. No tail, extremely fast.

Didn't see a landing because I had to look at the road, but turned down my radio, pulled over, and opened a window to see if I could hear anything crash. I've never seen anything move so quickly, no direction or curve but straight down .

On Saturday afternoon, December 26, 2020, Flt.#3763, en route from Columbia, SC, to Dulles International Airport, around 03:45 pm, at an altitude of 29,000 feet. I was a pilot flying, we saw an object (white or silver color, the approximate size of a football) for a fraction of a second (our airspeed was ~300 knots, suspected an object flew toward us), which flew front to back by our right side in very close proximity.

I have seen for weeks now orbs in the sky and on the ground they seem to be communicating with these space craft in the sky, spycraft that flash like drones and also stars in triangle formations the sky is a simulation it seems, just last night the moon turmed orange like a radioactive color right before setting. These star formatioms move constantly. Then the orbs seem to have somewhat relevance to our house lights for camoflague they are out all day they just blend in and make them selfs look like the environment I have noticed all sorts of weird flying planes which are just ufos in disguise I once saw one chamge from a helocopter to an airplane to a blinking light all along making the various noises these crafts would make but they are silent.

They are everywhere here in Oaksboro all the way to charlotte but oakboro I have seen the most. I notice that around sunset they are most active and sunrise they get very active too. Just last night I saw a blue o! rb in a field what looked like a bigfoot holding his hands over the orb I watched this through my telescope.

I have seen they can manipulate shadows just like they manipulate the sky. I once saw that a whole field looked like a carnival grounds, I have had so many people watch this with me. There also seems to be some sort of reaction whether or not you are visable to them if they know your watching they are less active.

If your hising or inside they are very active. If you mess with them by shining spotlights and flashing lights on a car they will investigate. I also have seen a lot of orbs or lighted objects being shot down from these ships into our atmosphere and to earth.

They can make themselfs invisable or light up. A 32 inch sized tv sized orb can dissapear in a blink. They create noise and have some sort of physical being bc they can break branches,the orbs, they arw many colors blue white red orange green.

Every night is different but they always come. One form of ! the ufo is there at least all day and night. The clouds seem t! o be sim ulated some days too.

I have noticed a entire day of triangle shaped cloud and triangle shaped voids in the clouds with bright lights in the dark gloomy cloud front. Theyre are some that are there everynight and some that just pop up new. I have seen an entire feild lit up with light as the orbs were doing something there.

At my house in charlotte I have seen the orbs all in the woods along with in my driveway. They are very sneaky and if u get to close you will get a spider web or water on your face. And head kind of feeling I assume they are trying to communicate to us or just retrieving our knowledge.

The orbs seem to go away when you attempt to go after them sometimes. Also they make no noise unless they want to, they can change shapes in binoculars the orbs are pyramid shaped geometric transforming beings with a eye of light they direct. They seem to be investigating us.

You can see shadows during the day of triangles and other shapes in trees amd the sky and ground. At! sunrise all the stars will move out and try to do in stealthy but its very noticeable. They do a zigzag maneuver slowly and fastly thinking it will trick us.

I feel as if the triangle shaped crafts that are made of 3 star formations dropped the drones to spy on us and the orbs to spy on us to. They dont seem to be maliciously dangerous but they still dont like when you know they are there. They can shoot beams of light out of the orbs.

also sometimes you'll see a "plane" and its really a triangle shaped ufo that is trying to camouflage themself. They will come all night some nights. I have seen flying car shaped ufos that stopped in mid air Nd dropped down and turmed into red dots.

I have seen a car headlights ufo just the headlights not the rest of the car. I feel like these beings have followed me home bc I have noticed a lot more orbs around my house sense being there. These seem to be interdimentional beings.

I have seen congregations of apparitions in the woo! ds with my telescope they look like some sort of bluish humano! id alien species I sae these the same night I saw bigfoot in the morning. I also saw that where the bigfoot went to turned into a rock cave sort of place even though there is only trees there. The bigfoot was accompanied by another lizard headed stone bodied type of being.

They both were accompanied by an orb. They are everywhere fyi folks we are living in an alien world right now and alot of people are unAware of this. Any aitings like these POST POST POST.

3 bright lights horizontaly in a row I had stepped out of my back door onto my porch, when I went to the steps I looked out past my tree and saw 3 very bright lights horizontally in a row over towards town. They looked like work lights, but they were way to high to be work lights. They were not very high above the trees and when I saw them, they did not appear to be moving.

It was very cold and for what ever reason It did not occur to me they might not be of this world, until I read the report from Fort Bragg, and these were exactly what they described. I wish I had gone back out with my camera, maybe next time.

A bright not moving object with pulsating red light watched for 45min to 1 hour I was in bed and was restless when I noticed an unusual light in the sky. I felt compelled enough to get out of bed and go to the window. I got my eyeglasses and opened the blinds wider.

I’m not sure how long I was looking at it before I decided to go outside. The stove clock said 3:20am. The object was not moving, but it had a faint red light like a beacon going around in one direction.

I stared at it for at 30 mins and took pictures and a video of what I was seeing. It never moved. I went back in my apartment but it was still there.

I couldn’t go back to bed. I fell asleep sitting up on the couch looking at it. The sun was coming up when I woke up and it was gone.

It hasn’t come back yet but now I’m looking every night.

Two Bright Dots, moved simultaneously and faded Sighting from backyard in Brunswick Forest development, Leland, NC (near Wilmington, NC) Two bright dots in the sky between Mars and Neptune at 6:55pm approximately, December 5, 2020. The dots were aligned perpendicular to the line between Mars and Neptune. They were about the size that Mars appeared, but brighter than Mars.

When I first looked up and saw the two dots positioned as they were, it looked like Orion’s Belt. Then I said, “hey wait a minute”, since there were only two stars! As I said that, the two stars dimmed to about the brightness of Mars. They were about an inch apart if I was to hold my hand up to the sky to guess distance.

After they dimmed, they simultaneously moved about two “sky inches” from my position up and to the right. Then they rapidly faded from sight without moving location. It was a clear evening, mid 50s temperature, moon had not yet risen above my sight line.

I was looking almost due south at the time. The “dots” were about 45 degrees up from the horizon. No sound.

Observed by one adult female, aged 46. I’ve seen other craft over the years dating back into the 1990s.

3 lights horizontally in a row moving horizontally in slow motion towards base. Too slow for a plae or helicopter to stay in the air. Then bright burst of white light, a 90 degree turn, then fast move up and into the clouds.

As a typical black hawk was coming/ flying over to land at the base. It was as if who or what did not want the pilots to them! The object dod not make any sounds at all.

Dim moving light that increased in brightness for a short period and then moved out of sight. Looking up thinking we saw a satellite. Watched it move for about 20 seconds then it began getting brighter and brighter for about 7-10 seconds and then started to fade.

static white opaque object with dark black center Yesterday on November 17, 2020, around 6 PM I was traveling from Charlotte, North Carolina to Belmont, North Carolina when I observed a strange object in the sky. I observed it for 5-7 minutes. After I arrived to my home, I parked and began walking towards an area where I hoped to continue observing it but I could not see it.

The object appeared large and was positioned vertically and shaped like a stretched out oval with the bottom of the oval being denser in mass the top. The top of the oval almost appeared to trail the object, which first led me to believe it may be a comet. When the object did not move it was apparent it was not a comet.

It was white with a light orange hue and was opaque with the outer rim having a cloudlike quality that was less opaque. The center of the object was black and had no opaque quality. The center did not appear to be reflecting light.

The black center contrasted starkly with the outer rim. I could not see anything solid in the center – only blackness, almost like a dark hole.

Light descended rapidly toward ground, stopped and turned at horizon without deceleration or radius, moved north out of sight ((airline and flight # deleted)). To whom it may concern, the following information as requested, on 8 December 2020 at 0055 Eastern: I was the Captain of ((airline and flight # deleted)) on November 13, operating from Charlotte, NC to Harrisburg, PA. That flight departed the gate in CLT at 2017 local time.

After takeoff, while climbing through an altitude of roughly 15,000 feet heading north, I saw an object out of the corner of my eye that then moved with very significant relative speed from the top of my field of view to at or below my perceived nighttime horizon, nearly vertically down with slight movement from left to right. It was moving at a speed consistent with a meteor, but white with no tail, and at roughly the horizon, it instantaneously stopped with no deceleration and changed direction, with no curvature of turn, to the north or northeast, roughly a few degrees right of our course. It disappeared away from our aircraft to the north in a fraction, maybe a quarter, of the time it took to move from the top of my field of view to the nearly the bottom.

The light’s movement away appeared to me as a rapid dimming wi! th slight movement to the right, which leads me to at the least perceive it as having rapidly moved away outside my range of sight to the north; that is how aircraft look as they disappear out of sight, albeit multiples slower. This entire event was a matter of a couple to a few seconds. The movement of the object from above to the horizon was roughly 1.

5-2 seconds, the movement away possibly .5 seconds. This is an estimation based on perception.

With regard to our immediate interpretation of and reaction to the event, as well as my current opinion regarding it, I was immediately puzzled by what I saw. I said to my First Officer “Did you see that?”. His response was “Ya I saw that.

” I said “that was not a meteor”, and he echoed that sentiment and said something to the effect of “It turned”. I then said “that wasn’t a plane either”, and my first officer agreed. We bounced ideas off each other for a few moments.

During a quick shuffling of possible explanations in my head, an aircraft moving vertically toward earth had momentarily been an alarming one of them. But airplanes accelerate and decelerate, and when they turn, the turn is accomplished with curvature. They also have more lights than just bright white.

This object moved across our entire field of view with great speed, instantaneously stopped with no deceleration, and shot off to the north, as if from a cannon. The angular change in direction was almost like a ! pinball bouncing off the bumper of a pinball machine, but with maybe the slightest pause as it made contact. Or a child’s bouncy ball bouncing off an angled surface dropped from above, rapidly changing direction to move laterally.

It was not an airplane. We also discussed meteors, to include that we had both seen many meteors from aircraft throughout thousands of hours of flight time. The confident consensus was that the object had not been a meteor, for several reasons.

First, and least compelling, was that they usually have a tail. This white, almost bluish white, object had no tail. More importantly, it would have been a meteor moving almost directly downward through our atmosphere with no flickering and no breakup.

Beyond that, it would have been a clean, crisp, white meteor with no flickering, no tail, and no breakup, moving downward through our atmosphere to roughly our altitude before making a sudden and instantaneous, deceleration and acceleration-free, 90 degree tu! rn to the north, disappearing faster than it crossed our field! of view It was not a meteor. After ruling out a few possibilities, it became clear that this object did not behave like anything either of us had ever seen while in flight. It showed no signs of being affected by an apparent enormous speed through our atmosphere, and it stopped and changed direction with seemingly no obedience to the Newtonian physics that we have such significant intuition for.

Nothing I’ve seen, including fighter jets, change direction that sharply or move at that speed. We asked ATC, I believe Atlanta or Washington Center, if they had picked up an object rapidly descending in front of us. They mentioned an aircraft still above us slowly descending to another altitude above us.

This was clearly not related to what we saw. After several minutes discussing what we had seen, as well as the likelihood of us catching both flack and a drug test for a report of this nature, we both agreed that the right thing to do was to report it to air traffic control. We did that, and by that time, I believe Washington Center took my report.

We also notified dispatch via ACARS message. We both possess copies of those messages. After providing that report, I thought to myself that the object’s path of motion had looked very much like a reverse checkmark, and I recall asking my first officer to draw the path he saw before communicating that specific notion to him.

Whether I did ask or not, at that time he drew precisely that and handed it to me, the mirror image of a check mark, with the long side on the left, the short side on the right. We spoke about the object a few more times during that flight and trip, but we have not spoken about or corroborated our descriptions of the events we are both separately submitt! ing, in order to not influence our individual recollection. On November 17th, an FAA UFO investigative team member contacted me through a member of company management and spoke with me before asking permission to pass my information to you for your organization’s investigative purposes.

One light creating odd light scattering effect moving into 4 lights going in different directions. One point of light moving from south to north causing a scattering of light effect similar to something entering the atmosphere at high speed (like a bullet entering water in slow motion) yet the night was clear and no other air craft presented this quality. The light then broke into two separate lights moving further away from each other with two more subsequent lights “breaking away” and moving in a N/NE direction.
