Texas UFO Sightings in 1992

My son and I saw the first craft coming from a northerly direction across the Red River in Northern Bowie County. It came in at an incredible speed and slowed almost to a halt approximatly 100 feet over our heads then performed a semi-circular maneuever. It continued at a slow speed and then we saw the reason for the maneuver.

It had gotten in front of a rectangular craft that was matte black, approx 75 ft long, 40 ft high and approx 40 ft wide. In the front of the craft there was a small square window with light inside and another one on the side of the craft about the same size. The under-side of the craft had everything molded inside except for what appeared to be four thrusters on each corner of the craft.

The first craft that performed the maneuver was a round sphere and was lit inside enough to make out a lattice-work frame, but could not make out anything else. We watched the two craft for about 2 minutes and we noticed 2 more of the spheres coming from the north as the others had. These two were identical the first sphere and like the first were coming in at an incredible speed but when they came in behind the rectangular craft, instantly matched its speed which was probably less than 20 MPH.

All of this was done without creating one single sound. We could hear cattle bawling of in the distance and even birds rustling in the brush, but nothing from the four craft. My background at the time was in electronics and my son's was in law enforcement.

I have worked on some very sophisticated integrated weapons systems, but this was beyond anything I had ever heard of before. Whomever they were and whatever they were; one thing is for sure; they were the masters of gravity.

The object was hidden in a cloud. We notice a single cloud in the sky. The cloud disappeared and the cigar shaped object could be seen.

The object moved close enough to see windows on the object. The color seem to be a little grey and I didn't see any lights. It had no wings but could move rather fast.

The fog/cloud started to reappear again and the object disappeared. We watched the object about 20 minutes before it disappeared. The next day I called the nearest Air Force Base to report it.

Black or dark grey. Too big, too low, too slow, too quiet, for a normal aircraft. Too big, too low, too slow.

Me and my now husband were just outside walking, looking at the stars, and talking. We were in a residential neighborhood, the houses all being on at least one acre lots. All the lots have trees on them.

We are 25 miles west of downtown Fort Worth, and there were no street lights, so you can see the stars very well. From where we were standing, in the street, you couldn't really see the horizon, just the houses/trees around us. All of a sudden, from what appears to be only feet above the trees,(moving north to south) a large, black (or dark grey) air craft comes into view.

I cant remember what the "front" of it looked like, just that there was something VERY large approaching us. It was totally silent. No vibration, no air movement, no smell, no visible moving parts, no smoke, nothing!! I got the impression that it was either rectangular, or maybe triangular, and for some reason I was thinking that it had to be pretty flat.

It moved, well hovered would be a better description, until it was directly over us. It was soo big that it totally filled our field of vision. You could not see the stars/sky behind it.

It seems that there were some dull white lights on the edges of it, but me and my husband never did agree on what the lights looked like, or if there were even lights at all. The whole encounter lasted under a minute. I dont remember how it left our field of vision, and neither can my husband.

Nothing can fly that low, that slow, that quiet, without crashing to the ground. Not to mention the emmense size of it. What is almost as weird as the sighting itself, is that me and my husband, never could be more specific about what we saw, why I didnt remember the date, or what we saw after it passed over us.

I have tried for years to pin point an exact time frame. I know me and my now husband were just kids, so it had to be 91-92. I am thinking it was early fall.

I have thought about this everyday of my life, and have asked everyone that I thought might have some insight about planes/experimental aircraft/military aircraft etc, and no one can explain it. A man emerges from a beam of light that shines on a grassy field at night and he runs towards the Texas Instruments parking lot. It was an early evening in October in Stafford a suburb of Houston, Texas. Night time comes early in the fall as I was driving on airport blvd.

I had exited airport blvd off the southwest fry. Airport Blvd. is a short road that runs from the frwy to Murphy road.

I was on my way to have a conversation with my ex-wife about our son. We were to meet at the Casa Ole restaurant located on Murphy Rd. To the right of airport Blvd is Texas Instruments a large computer chip manufacturer.

Half way down the street there is a grassy area between the road and the T.I. parking lot.

T.I. has workers 24 hours a day so anyone starting at 6:00 PM would be coming in to work the second shift.

I was driving east, the stars were bright, the sky was clear. Halfway down the street right over the grassy area a beam of bluish, purplish light appeared on the ground from about 30 feet in the air. I heard no sound, saw no craft.

My gaze was on the beam of light, suddenly a man appears on the ground and runs toward the T.I. parking lot.

My eyes follow him at first then as I gaze to where the beam of light was; it is gone. This all happened so quickly I put it out of my mind and went and had the meeting with my ex-wife and never thought about it again until I started to hear people share their stories on coast to coast radio. I many years later concluded that this person worked at T.

I. and was given a ride to work. Now I am sharing my story on your site.

I saw a UFO very clearly and can describe it to a tee. I saw an object that was about 5' long by 2.5' wide.

It seem to be two tiered with a section on top of the lower section. It was about 1.5' high.

It was rounded smooth at all corners and was the color of polished stainless steel. It had small black circles at the base of the top section close to where the top met the lower section. The black circles were equally spaced all the way around.

I saw the object very clearly, and was about 25' off the ground and about 100' away from where I was standing and moving along at about 10 mph. It had no visible means of propulsion and was silent. Most UFO sighting are so vague that who knows what they are.

I am not much on being able to draw but could describe it and if someone could draw it I could say exactly that the drawing is correct in every detail. I observed one nite several objects flying in a kind of oval formation and change to a vee formation. There wasn't any sound. I am a local truck driver who isn't sure if ufos are real but i will tell you what i saw and let you decide.

One nite while hooking up to a trailer at a large chemical factory I saw a large group of lites passing over head. THe lites were flying very close to each other. I thought it was a low flying jetliner with it's landing gear open which would be very unusal for around here.

After the lites passed over head all of them changed to a flying Vee formation that is when I knew that all those lites were seperate objects. Also there wasn't any sound. Even with all the noise in the plant there sould have been some sound.

diamond shaped craft with lights and a slight buzzing sound The following description is taken from a realitive who saw this craft early one morning on the way to school. At the time she lived with her mother in the wooded areas in east texas near the La/Tx line.they both saw a diamond shaped craft move very slowly over the van.

It had lights on each corner, with a forward light beam emmited from two diffent parts on the front of the craft. It produced a slight buzzing-electric sound that could be heard over the van engine. It moved westerly about 35 mph, with an approximate altitude of 100 feet, and maintained same altitude despite changing topography.

The underneath side had strobe-like lights flashing at at regular intervals, lastly dark rectangular bands are seen at diffent lenghts on the bottom side of the craft with a circular light in the middle of the underside ((NUFORC Note: Date may be approximate, although the witness does not indicate that fact. The object glided quietly above us, while we were in the pool on Summer in 1992 We had just gone outside about 9:45pm and got into the swimming pool at the complex I lived in at that time. We were relaxing and talking and for some reason I looked up and said "wow, look at the pink geese" My aunt looked as well as my uncle and said thats not geese and kinda looked shocked, I then looked at my mom and said did you just see that hovering over us? She looked kind of scared. I asked my aunt what she thought it was and she had no idea just that it was large and very quiet gliding slowly over us.

I looked at the local news that night and nobody else had reported it. I will never forget this. Several times while growing up in a suburb of Houston, called Rosenberg, I had witnessed several other craft both day and night.

Triangle UFO in Garland, TX in 1992 I’m a college student living in Germany who recently separated as a staff sergeant from the U.S. Army a few months ago.

I am 34 years old. I hold an associate’s degree. I am also an expert in long-haul transmissions technology with six years of military experience in the communications field.

Prior to my military service, was in project management for five years with a large telecommunications company. I lived in and around Garland, Texas, from age 5 until I enlisted at age 28. I apologize, as the date and time of my account is only a guess, as it took place over 15 years ago.

However, I estimated the date based on a few facts: I had recently graduated high school in May 1992; it was summer; I was driving an '87 Honda Civic during the incident, a car which I owned at that time. The time was late evening, an hour or so after sunset. A childhood friend of mine and I were driving SE down what is today President George Bush Toll Way (TX 190) at around 2200.

Today, the area is very built up with shopping malls and restaurants. But back in 1992, the only building in the area was a high school (my high school). It was dark and, at the time, there were no street lamps.

As I'm driving, my friend points to the sky through the windshield and tells me to look. He's pointing straight up through the windshield to a point directly over my car. And, while it was difficult for me to lean forward over the steering wheel to see what it was he was pointing at, I caught several glimpses of it.

This is what I saw: three reddish hued lights in a triangle configuration, with one brighter light in the very center of the formation. And, while the sky was dark, the space between the lights was even darker, giving the shape a distinct triangular outline. Because I was driving, I could only glance at the object for a few seconds at a time before I had to put my eyes back on the road.

It was difficult to tell whether or not the object was moving along with us, or if it was at such an elevation that it appeared motionless from our perspective. When I would glimpse it, I could tell the object was rotating slowly in a counter-clockwise direction, at an estimated rate of one rotation every 30 seconds. We were now approaching a stop sign, and I brought the car to a stop.

Without speaking, immediately after I stopped, I shut the engine and lights off; we exited the car and stood up in the road to get an unobstructed view. To our delight, the object was still there, hovering silently. Now that we were no longer moving, we could tell the object wasn't moving, either.

It was completely stationary (though it continued to rotate in place) and produced absolutely no noise. As far as the size of the object, it was difficult to estimate. But I recall that, from my perspective on the ground, the triangle appeared to be about the same size as the shape one can make by touching the thumbs and index fingers of both hands and holding them at arm's length directly overhead (approximately 4" x 4" x 4").

We continued to watch the object for another thirty seconds or so when another car began to approach us from the rear. We quickly hopped back in my car, started it up, and pulled it to the side of the road to make way. As soon as the other car pulled away, we got back out.

But when we looked up at the sky, there was nothing there. Nothing at all. No noise, no lights.

Whatever we had been observing only seconds earlier had vanished. I don't recall ever telling anyone about it, and I don't believe my friend or I ever discussed the incident with each other again after that night. Of course, we haven't spoken to or seen one another in over ten years.

I realize it's been many years since this took place. In fact, I rarely even think about it. However, it was several years ago that I first read an article or saw a news report about someone witnessing an object matching the exact description of what I'd seen so long ago.

Since then, I've seen or read many other separate but similar accounts. And, since I've always been somewhat of a skeptic with regards to UFO sightings, I tried my best to pretend what I'd seen must've been something else.maybe something I would've recognized had it been daylight.

However, ever since that day, when I'm outside at night, I still find myself staring up at the sky, semi-hoping that I might see the same thing again, if for no other reason than to prove to myself that whatever I saw actually does exist. Though I still remain skeptical, I felt I should at least contribute my experience so as to at least add my account to the collection of other similar sightings. Skeptic or not, I saw what I saw.

UFO had kaleidoscope of colors fading into each other, it hovered for about two minutes and took off with unimaginable speed. This happened years ago, but it is something that I will never forget. I was about 19 years old at the time.

My boyfriend (at that time) and I were sitting inside the car in front of my mother's house talking. It was dark outside and we had not been drinking and did not do drugs. It was probably between the hours of 8:30-9:30 PM.

In the sky there was an object with lights that I have never seen on any airplane, helicopter, or anything else for that matter. The lights were like those that you would see on a kaleidoscope. The lights faded in and out of each other, kinda like they were blending into each other as the lights chased around the UFO.

The craft hovered in one spot, I didn't notice any movement at all. I have never seen any aircraft stand so still in mid- air. This lasted for about a couple of minutes, and then the object took off with a speed that I have never seen.

It was there one second and gone the next, If I would have blinked I would have missed it take off. There was no sound at all. I remember going inside to watch the 10:00 news to see if anything would be on there about the incident, there wasn't.

I stopped and got out of my truck to look at it and only seconds later the light on the bottom of the UFO, was turned off. y truck My wife and I were driving west on F.R.

35, about 4 miles west of Quinlan, Tx. It was late, between midnight and 1 in the morning. The moon was out and the sky was partly cloudy.

My wife was looking out the window of my truck and noticed the outline of an cigar shaped object and it appeared to have dimmly lit, almost like a fluorescent light on the bottom. The light was round, maybe 16 to 24 ft.??? My wife was decribing it to me while I was driving and looking for a place to pull off and get out to see for myself.

I then pulled into a gravel drive at an old store. I left the motor running and got out of my truck. And just like my wife had said, there it was,completely silent, the outline was very clear.

It was perhaps, 400 to 600 yards away. And I noticed it was hovering over some very large power lines. This thing was right on top of them.

When I got out of my truck to look at it and only seconds later this dim, fluorescent type light which was on the bottom of the UFO, turned off. This scared my wife, She was very upset telling me to hurry and get in the truck. She was ready to go.

I had a flashlight in my truck and I wanted to flash it on the object, however my wife wouldn't let me.I got back into my truck and started down the highway, no sooner than I on the road again the light on the UFO came on again. I wish I knew what it was, it looked gray under the moonlight.

It gave off no sound. I think it being over those powerlines had something to do with it being there. And it was strange, that when I got out of my truck, it turned the light off.

A bright gold glow during a silvery lightning storm It was night, around 9 pm. There was a big dramatic storm, with thunder and lightning. The lightning gave a cold light.

I lived on the top of the hill on 12th street east of Lamar. I was lying on my back on the floor with the lights out, with my feet facing the french doors, watching the display. All of a sudden there was a bright gold light that filled the windows.

It wasn't a lightning bolt, and I waited for it to be over, but it stayed and stayed. I got up and got dressed, thinking something really big was happening (something I had never seen before, I wasn't sure what, but something big) and I might have to go outside. During all that time of deciding to get up, finding my clothes, and putting on shoes and socks the light just stayed, glowing warmly, filling the whole sky.

Then it was gone.

MY UNCLE AND I WERE MOVING THAT NIGHT. WE WERE ON OUR WAY BACK TO THE OLD APT IT WAS ABOUT 1:00 AM AND MY UNCLE AND I WERE DRIVING DOWN THE STREET AND ON THIS STREET THERE OUR A LOT OF TREES THAT HANG OVER THE STREET, SO AS WE WERE DRIVING WE SAW A OBJECT HOVERING OVER THE TREES IT WAS A BLACK TRIANGLE WITH A RED LIGHT IN THE CENTER OF IT. AND WE LOOK AT ONE ANOTHER AS WE WENT PASS WE STOPED AND BACKUP AND GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK.

AND IT SAT THERE FOR A FEW SECOUNDS AND IT HAD NO SOUND SO AS WE WERE LOOKING AT THIS THING IT TOOK OFF, AND IT WENT STREIGHT UP WITH NO SOUND. I NEVER SEEN SUCH A THING IN MY LIFE.

1992 April UFO Sighting North East Bound On US HWY 59 between Clegg and George West Texas: Saw a very large craft on the right side of the US HWY 59. It was in complete focus hovering above a large tree nearby a farm road. It was Oval and slightly Saucer shaped with an array of multicolored lights, some lights were blinking in a sequence across and some in a circular motion, while others where strobing and some slightly plusating.

Lights were colored red, green, yellow, blue and white. THe UFO remained Hovering as we proceded down the US HWY 59. I felt drawn to go to it but, the person I was with was too terrified to pursue it.

I know what I saw was a genuine UFO. I have a strong background knowledge of aircraft being, that my father was a pilot and was in the USAF. I have been taught many things about aircraft from air shows to flying in helicopters over the Gulf of Mexico.

My friend and I were traveling through the Angelina Forest in East Texas on a two lane highway. There were 80 foot trees on both sides of the road as far ahead as could be seen. It was at night when all of a sudden this huge object passed ahead maybe 100 yards ahead.

Maybe 200 yards. It flew at tree top level and was as big as a 747 jet. No noise and it was traveling very slow.

It had maybe 60 or 70 lights in different places. No certain order or anything. I have never ever seen so many lights on a plane in my entire life.

I thought it was probably a military aircraft, but it had so many lights on it. I stopped the truck and we both just said WOW! What was that? We will never forget it. I know I will never forget it.

I work for the City of Dallas ((deleted)) department. ((deleted)) years now. My friend is into real estate.

He went to college in nacadoches, texas. I graduated from ((schools deleted)) Texas. I would say the height of it was maybe 60 foot high.

We were headed to Sam Rayburn Lake in East Texas to go bass fishing with my friends Dad. His Dad had a house and boat there. We were maybe 50 miles from the Lake.

The speed of this thing seemed like 30 miles an hour, but in the air it's hard to figure. That's about it. Just driving down an east texas two lane highway in the middle of the Angelina Forest and seeing a dark object the size of a jet or transport with so many lights it was beautiful.

The lights were red, green, blue, white, maybe yellow, I can't remember. I wish I would have had a video going. It's been a few years since this happened but I felt compelled to send this to you.

It was a huge craft with several lights rotating on and off in a circle manner located under the craft. I was driving home from work on Hwy 90 towards Houston.I was in between two small towns China, and Nome.

It was about 6:30 pm. When I noticed something strange in the sky. At first, I thought it was an Blimp with an advertisement.

Then I noticed there were no advertisements, but it was a huge looking craft. It had different colored flashing lights blinking on and off. The lights seemed to be in a circular arrangement under the craft.

I found myself drawn to it and kept thinking I was going to drive close to it. I cannot believe, that I kept driving towards it, without fear.There were several cars on the highway heading the same directions.

No one stopped, or turned around. The craft was further from me than I thought. I thought the craft was located on the corner of Hwy 90 and Hwy 326.

But when I got to that intersection it was further ahead. The craft was to the right of the highway, and I am guessing it was about 100-250 feet hovering above the ground. I am not exactly sure what date, or month.

It was in 1992, between January and October of that year.The shape is hard to describe.I am curious if anyone else reported a sighting around this time.

My family and I was woken by a bright florecent blue like light that lit up the entire neighborhood an my sister was quite scared so at that time we both ran towards our parents room to see if the light had woken them up. My father and I was quite curious so we went on the porch to see what was going on and my mom begged us not to go outside but of course we went anyway. And what we saw appeared to be a UFO and I said.

What in the world it covered the whole Oak Cliff area it was a big and round shape object and the lights were outlined the object and they was constantly blinking and as the light blinked it was make a noise at the same time that I really can't describe in writing. It was down very low (Just a few ft. above the street light poles)it stayed about 5-7 minutes and then just disappeared heading west.
