Big chrome balls It was either late '89 or very early '90 because it was about 530pm or 6pm when I saw them and it was getting dark. I was sitting facing almost due west in a small parking lot on business hwy35/Steele rd. I was looking out the windshield and started seeing something shiny and small coming toward me about 60ft in the air.

There was a small antenna tower behind the building I was in front of so I tried to estimate the height by the tower. It couldn't have been much higher than that. The closer it got the more confused I became.

At first (with the sun setting behind) I thought it was an ultralight flying due to the slowness and altitude. But then I realized it wasn't one object but 5. I have excellent vision, especially from far off, so I knew within the space of about 30 seconds it was more than one thing coming in my direction.

As it flew closer and went over my head it seemed like they were almost floating. They were totally silent. They looked like big chrome balls, about 2.

5-3 feet in diameter, and they were in a v-formation. The reason I say "chrome" is because I could see reflections of everything around me in the balls. Maybe they were mirrored, I don't know.

They flew right over my head and just kept going. I lost sight of them almost immediately because across the street from where I was parked there is a farmhouse with big oaks in the front yard. It looked like they were traveling roughly parallel to Steele Rd.

I have never come across anything like that in any description of a ufo. It still drives me crazy that I have no real idea of what those things were. Were they some kind of drone? Did they have some little creature in them? No blinking lights, no sound.

I didn't feel anything weird except jaw-dropping amazement. Just me for years afterward wondering what the heck they were.

Huge UFO over North Star Mall Just before Thanksgiving 1989, my wife was on our rooftop, adjusting the TV antenna for better reception. This was at dusk. I was inside informing her when reception was clear.

She came down off the roof, walked in the back door and told me she just saw a huge UFO. She described the incident to me and to be honest, I dismissed her story as a "mis-identification" of a known aircraft. I've always regretted that.

Her depiction of the event is as follows: While adjusting the antenna, she looked up and saw a huge kite (diamond?) shaped aircraft, hovering silently, just a few blocks north of our house, near North Star Mall. She said it was about the size of two football fields, the structure appeared black in color and the bottom had numerous white colored lights. It hovered for a few seconds about 600 ft.

off the gound then very quickly, shot off to the west and out of site. From her description, the object was very, very large and I couldn't understand why we never heard any reports about the event. She can recount this even, in detail, anytime.

Let me add that a couple of years later, while driving in San Antonio one evening, we both saw a mysterious craft, traveling slowly, a low altitude, near the intersection of I10 and Loop 410. My wife said, "there it is!" Just like the other one I saw. My reaction again, was sort of like "well, whatever!" I think what we saw was just so bizzare, we had trouble accepting it.

Now, years later, I do accept it and would like to know if others witnessed these events, the same time we did. Note: I filed another report a few minutes ago of an incident that I experienced in Alpine, TX. In error, I listed another witnesses name(Russ Davis), rather than mine.

Sorry, I didn't think of myself as the witness. I'm slow, huh? ((NUFORC Note: Date of incident is approximate. PD)).

Up close sighting of UFO then confirmed by helicopter pursuit in Austin, Texas. This is the first time I've officially reported my sighting. I'm doing this because someone official must know.

In the later part of 1989, at approximately 9 p.m., while driving home from dinner at my mother's house, I noticed bright lights moving very slowly toward my right, above the tree line.

I've always been intrigued by U.F.O's and feel I'm quite knowledgeable on the subject.

I had always thought that if I had ever saw one,I would not be afraid, but rather I would want to approach it. Was I ever wrong. I stopped to observe a round shaped disk coming my way above the trees to my right while still in my truck.

Slowly it approached. Surrounded by very, very bright lights, not blinking lights but solidly lit. At this time, the object is right by me so I get out of my truck, leave the door open, walk around the door to the driver's side fender and look at the craft.

When I realized there was no noise coming from it, that's when I knew what it was. The biggest rush of fear went through me like I never knew. The craft was only about 50 yards from me.

I jumped in my truck, drove forward 200 yards, made a left, stopped and watched it slowly move away for about five minutes until I couldn't see it anymore. My house was just around the corner. I went in and woke up my roomate, ((name deleted)).

He went to bed way early because he had to go to work at 4:00 a.m. I told him what I had seen.

He said I was crazy. We went out front in the yard and I started telling him the story. Just a few minutes into my story, as I was pointing in the direction of the sighting, we heard a noise from behind.

We turn and look. About 3 or 4 black helicopters buzz the house and fly in the direction I'm pointing. Steve didn't think I was so crazy then.

I'm reporting this because lately it's been weighing on my mind. 50 yards is close! If someone would contact me, I would like to tell them things about the craft and the amazingly effortless way that it moved. Please take this sighting seriously.

I am a business owner in Austin and have a reputation as an honest person. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. PD)).

Texas, 1989, Orb in upper Earth atmosphere--ridiculous movements--impossible speeds I’m way late on this one (1989), but just became a believer 2 nights ago when I happened across a documentary that covered “orbs.” We had explained the sighting away and forgot about it. A buddy and I were 16 years old and camping about an hour east of Houston, Tx (5 miles north our tiny home town).

This is cow country, quite rural and remote, especially back then. There were four of us, but the other two were sleeping. It was a cloudless August night.

We were enjoying some the stars (and his Dad’s beer we stole) before bed. We were facing south toward the Gulf which is an hour’s drive from there. I noticed an airplane drifting from Houston (west) toward Beaumont (east).

I remember saying something like “that must be a military jet; it’s way up there.” It was perfectly silent, so that made initial sense. This area is a flight path for the Houston airports; we grew up there.

We knew what commercial jets looked like at night—and you can definitely always hear them, especially in the still of the night. My buddy said something like “it can’t be an airplane, that thing might not even be in the atmosphere it’s so high.” It’s moving way to fast to be a plane.

I suggested it must be a satellite reflecting the sun to us, but I had never seen one before. So we’re trading ideas of what we’re looking at. It appeared to be no lower than our upper atmosphere, but probably under the satellites.

Remember, back then there weren’t many satellites. Maybe it was 45 to 60 seconds of watching. Then it happened.

This thing did something that was simply impossible. It bounced up and down like a graph of a Cosmic Ray; high peak to trough in a relatively short space. In about 1 to 1.

5 seconds it must of oscillated 8 to 10 times. Then it shot back in mostly the same direction it came from, maybe at a 30 degree angle over where it just came from (the west). The problem is, it went from a nice slow visual pace to something near the speed of light.

From the moment it quit proceeding to the East, it only took about 0.5 seconds for this thing to cover (I swear we’re not crazy) many thousands of miles. It appeared to be many, a great many, diameters of the earth.

We had what I’m sure is a normal reaction to this; we both shouted at the same time “Did you see that S---T?!?!?” That woke up the other two. They were upset and accused us of being drunk. We had each had maybe 6 beers.

We were weekend drinkers, so not really drunk yet. The other two stuck their heads out of the tent, but weren’t interested in “our prank” until morning. They never believed us, and I don’t blame them.

We did get very drunk after that and stayed up almost till daylight trading ideas. Since what we saw was impossible, we settled on this explanation: We were watching a satellite that just happened to quit reflecting sun light at the exact moment a meteor just happened to flam up and streak the other way. A handy description I’ve used is that it moved like the Star Ship Enterprise gunning it for “warp 9.

” The bouncing around we dismissed as the initial explosion of the falling star. There was a very brief trail, but never since (I’m 40 now) have I seen a falling star like that. He and I started hunting at about 10-12 years old.

We had spent many and hour watching stars and falling stars waiting for the sun to rise. Plus we loved to go camping. We each must of seen 100 falling stars by the age of 16.

My subconscious new it wasn’t a falling star, but my conscious mind prevailed and I remained a non-believer for 24 more years. When I realized that someone video-taped something 98% similar (I never watch UFO stuff) I went into a light case of shock as my mind considered the ramifications. I’ve picked up quite a bit of physics and theoretical physics since 16.

My guess is this thing wasn’t from outer space, it came from hyperspace (5 or more dimensions). I went from making fun of guys like you to instant belief. Sorry I’m a quarter of a century late with this one LOL.

I hope this helps someone. Dan P.S.

I’m holding off until my Christmas visit back home to show Don the video-got to see his reaction in person! ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

I awoke to find a Grey crawling on my bed. I was awakened by something crawling on our waterbed, causing waves, and found what I later learned was a Grey on the foot of the bed. It was looking straight at me, leaning on its right hand, its left hand (four fingers) stretched out towards me.

It looked to be about four feet in height with long, lean fingers and big, black, bulging eyes, two tiny slits for a nose and a small slit for a mouth. Its head was larger in the cranium, the neck spindly. I could tell it was reading my mind and since I was pregnant, I was really afraid.

I immediately screamed and jumped out of bed, running into the living room where my husband was watching television. I've not seen another one of those since. Incidentally, we were living about ten miles away from the Johnson Space Center.

Port Isabel, TX '89 Surreal close encounter with hovering disc. I'm from Port Isabel Tx a small town in the Rio Grande Valley. In 1989 june around sunset me and my two older brothers 22 & 17 I was 11 years old, but ill never forget that day.

We were playing football outside in the street when when my oldest brother was staring up into the sky. My brothers face was confused perplexed I asked "what are you doing throw me the ball" he said "what the hell is that". When I turned around I immeadiately looking at an amazing craft hovering very low maybe 4 stories high.

I never belived in disc but here was a disc hovering no sound and was glowing in neon blue plasma surrounding it. The disc was flawless as the shinest chrome I've ever seen like a platinum liquid mercury. Standing amazed my brothers told me to get away but I said no way ill remember this day forever and I'm not leaving till that thing leaves LOOK.

So I stared into this thing an could plainly see a revolving off white light around the craft it moved in different patterns. Also the craft was messin with my eyes it seemed so close I could touch it. Finally it began to move UP it moved so slow it was like it shrank but was now a small blue dot in the atmosphere then gone.

We were amazed not many people belived us very saddening because they are REAL. The weird thing is afterward my dreams became so vivid I'd feel like I had left my body then return exhausted. The dreams had a lot to do with God & Satan but more now than ever I'm attracting people who have had encounters an have never spoke about it.

I don't understand truly what all this means I've had a vision that they are gonna reveal themselves to the masses. Hundreds an fleets of crafts an ships are gonna appear and people are gonna panic. The govenment can no longer fool me I hope they let the people know because they are REAL.

Don't let anyone tell you they don't they lie. I have nothing to gain more to lose but you deserve to know the truth ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

Black Triangle spotted over rural Texas in late 80's In the summer of 1989 I was sitting at my Grandmothers kitchen table when a neighbor came rushing in screaming that a UFO was following her. She described a bright light with lights shooting off of it and circling around and then rejoining the main light. Several of us that were there went outside to investigate.

We walked the half block down the gravel road to the Farm to Market road to get a better view. Just coming into view was an object flying very low and slow. It was coming out of the East and moving directly West following the FM road.

I would estimate it's height to have been around 600 ft and it's width to be about 75 yards wide. It was triangular in shape and had several lights down each "wing". The lights were different colors but of the same configuration on each wing.

I remember 4 lights on each wing of blue, orange, and white colors. Where the tail of a normal aircraft would have been were three lights arranged in an L shape but we could clearly see the straight line across the back extending to the tips of the wings forming the triangle shape. In the center of the object was a red check mark.

It was similar to an arrow pointing in the direction of travel, dead center on the bottom, but was missing one of the lines that would have formed a complete arrow, instead resembling an upside down check mark. The craft made absolutely no sound as it travled and continued moving very slowly until it passed out of our field of view. We observed the craft for about 20 minutes.

I called my grandfather who was a dispatcher at the local Sheriffs office to see if he had heard any reports and he had not. He went up on the county courthouse roof where he worked but did not observe anything. He was about 3 miles to the southwest of our location.

I also contacted the small municiple airport in Commerce, TX which is about 25 miles to the SW of our location to see if they knew of any military operations in the area. Their response was that if they did they couldn't tell us. Very shortly after the event, the neighbor who had alerted us to the object and had described something very different from what we observed was suddenly stricken with Pancreatic cancer and passed away very suddenly.

She seemed to be of perfect health and went into the hospital for stomache pains, a few days later she passed away. I have been watching the sky ever since and have never seen anything like it again. I'm an avid aircraft and military "buff".

The B2 bomber was unveiled around this time and I just chalked the sighting up as a lucky view of some secret test flight. Of all the pictures I have seen of the B2 since, I have never seen any with anything like the light configuration I described above. It was a well lit night and we could clearly make out the edges of the craft and it was triangular in shape and was missing the jagged tail profile of the B2.

Full Report Text:

Large cigar shaped metalic flying object I'm a retired xxx Airlines 777 Captain and former USAF Search & Rescue Pilot. I thought you might be interested sightings I've had during my carrier? In the early 1980's, I was flying as Captain on an MD80 from DFW to DEN. Our departure time was approximately 8:00 pm, hazy, but with partial light still in the sky.

Climbing out of DFW on an initial 185 degree heading, and just passing through approximately 1,000' AGL (above the ground), I spotted a very large object out of the copilots window. I immediately made the statement to my copilot, "What the @#*! is that?" It appeared to be elongated and "cigar" shaped, a grey metallic looking object, moving very slowing from right to left (west to east), and it appeared to have many small, dark, and slightly fuzzy looking, rectangular "windows" running longitudinally along the length of the object; a line or band of windows? I immediately called departure control on the radio and asked, "Departure, do you show anything ahead of us on radar". He replied, "No, why do you ask?" I told him I wasn't sure but that we thought that there was an object out ahead of us.

At first seeing the object, which was initially located in the right third of my copilots window from my viewpoint, I thought that it might be the undercarriage of a 747. The object appeared to be moving very slowly. However, as we accelerated on climb out, the object did not appear to be changing in size indicating that we were not going to have an immediate collision.

I had seen mirages many times before in the past, and so I initially thought that this might be a mirage. Because of the hazy sky conditions, moisture in the air, and dusk, it didn’t appear to be a mirage, but still a possibility. As we climbed out of 4500’, the object was now leaving us toward the east but still visible in the left third of my windscreen when departure had us turn to the northwest on our way toward Denver.

I didn’t think much of the incident until years later when I happened to turn the television on during one of my layovers. The program, "In Search Of" was on and this particular segment was about a sighting over Montreal (Torronto?), Canada. In that program, several hundred witnesses described exactly what my copilot and I had seen on our departure out of DFW during the same time period.

The announcer stated that through triangulation, the objects length was determined to be 6,000’ long. That’s a mile long and would explain why it appeared that we were not closing on the object we saw! I thought my sighting above might have some interest for your research? Other pilot friends have had different encounters. Back in 1979, I was flying with one 707 pilot and he told me that during a nighttime letdown approach into LAX, when still east of Palm Springs, California, he and his Captain had to take evasive action in order to avoid hitting another flying object.

As they pulled back on the stick to avoid colliding with their “UFO”, they could clearly see inside the “cockpit” of this craft and clearly saw the “pilots”. Both of the American pilots were former USAF pilots and they both knew what oxygen masks looked like, the type worn by military pilots. What they saw on the “UFO pilots” face(s), helmet or oxygen masks, they said was nothing they had ever seen before.

In their estimate, it was not of this planet. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. We have encouraged the source to try to determine the exact date, using his flight logs.

Also, we have requested that he have the other pilots submit reports, as well. PD)).

The Abduction of a Little Girl I only four, but I remember it very well. I was asleep in the camper of my father's simi-truck. Him and my mother were inside a truck stop visiting with some of their friends.

They left me in the truck because I was asleep. I woke up and I wasn't in the truck any longer. I couldn't see the "aliens" very well.

They were like a darker light amongst bright light. Everything was white. I couldn't see the rest of my body, and I remember being very cold.

My right foot began to hurt on the left side. And then I was back in the truck. I climbed out of the camper, out of the truck, and into the parking lot.

I looked up for some reason or another, and I saw three pinkish-red lights. They would zigzag around, and then stop in triangle shape, and then zigzag around again. Then they suddenly disappeared, and I ran into the truckstop and told my parents what happened.

They dismissed it as a dream, but recall me telling them about it. I was only four, after all, and I didn't know what aliens or UFO's were. But I believe I have been abducted multiple times since them.

In the summer of 1999 I had a surgery on my right foot, because it hurt all the time and the doctors' x-ray showed something in it. They removed something out of my foot, as they called it, an extra bone, that shouldn't have been there. I think that the "aliens" put it there that first time.

Bright green - blue sphere silently moving parallel to freeway. Two friends and I were driving to Hobby Airport (Houston's 2nd commercial airport) heading southbound on the Gulf Freeway (I-45) from downtown. It was raining slightly and foggy.

About one mile south of the I-45 and Loop 610 Interchange, almost at the Hobby Airport exit, we all three saw a bright green sphere that moved parallel to the freeway, about 150-200 feet from the ground. It didn't make any sound. The object was almost in the clouds or fog and it cast a bright green glow in the fog and clouds directly over it.

The object then changed direction; it turned slightly left and crossed over the freeway, headed south-southeast (towards Clear Lake and the NASA headquarters). When it was on the other side of the freeway, we could also see a deep blue color on the lower 1/3 of the sphere, but the green glow was much brighter. It then disappeared in the clouds.

In order to calm ourselves, we all assumed that this was a meteor or maybe an aircraft heading toward NASA that was partially obscured by the fog. This happened 10 years ago and I remember it as if it were yesterday. At the time this happened, all three of us were employed as clinical chemists at a major hospital located in the Texas Medical Center.

A bright blinding light followed me for Several miles I live in a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas and at the time I was living on a fairly rural road by Lake Worth lake and I was driving a '74 Chevy Blazer with limo tinted windows in the rear, anyway I was dating a young lady who lived off a road called 9 mile bridge road which was out in the less developed rural area, I had taken her home for the night and was on my way back to my house at the time (it was about 1:30 a.m.) when I noticed a light in the upper right hand corner of my mirror.

Now, 9 mile bridge is a very curvy road with no street lights and all houses set back at least 50 yards, not to mention that the street is lined with woods and trees all the way down. Anyhow, I saw the light in the mirror and at first thought it was a street light so I looked back and noticed there was not a street light or a house light anywhere on the road. I was going 45 down the road and I kept a watch on the light which didn't seem to move until I got to an "S" turn on the road.

As I made the turn I looked in the mirror, the light was gone. Then all of a sudden, it came back in the same area, well I had one more turn so I watched and it did the same thing. Then I came to a major highway (Hwy.

199) and proceeded to get on it to get home and when I got on 199 I looked in the mirror and it was gone. So I traveled about 4 miles to the road I lived on and as soon as I was on that road the object was back and it followed me all the way back to my house (about 3/4 mile).I turned in my driveway and pulled up to my garage (my house is set about 100 yards off the road with nothing but woods all around it)and I always back my Blazer up so I wouldn't have to turn around the next morning, and just as I got finished parking, there was a bright light that came over.

It was so bright that it blinded me to the point that I couldn't see anything around me, but there was not a sound, and the light was gone as it lit up the area. Now trust me, I was working security at the time and always carried a Glock 10mm with 170 grain jacketed hollo! w points with me, so I was well protected. After the light, it was all I could do to get in the house.

I was so scared and when I came in I was running from window to window looking out with my gun in hand. My roommate said he had never seen me so scared in all the years he knew me. I couldn't sleep at all that night and can remember every little detail to this day as of 3/29/2000.

That was over 10 years ago. Now I'm not saying that anyone has to believe in UFO's but I know my experience and that's enough for me,.
