Texas UFO Sightings in 1995

THE OBJECT WAS A LARGE RED BALL OF LIGHT. IT WAS DESCENDING SLOWLY, STRAIGHT DOWN. We were driving along in my father's truck, when the light was noticed.

It was a very large red glowing ball of light, traveling straight downward at a controlled speed, as though it intended to land. There were no other lights visible on or near the object. We observed this for about ten minutes before it finally disappeared below the horizon.

I later spoke to a friend of mine about it, describing what we saw. He said it could have been a Chinook helicopter flying under simulated combat conditions. Since the sighting took place at night, there is very little possibility that it could have been a blimp.

Also, there are no vertical takeoff\landing airplanes in the area. The only local airports are Hobby (civilian), Bush-Intercontinental (civilian) and Ellington Field(joint-use). The only witnesses that I am aware of were myself, my mother, and my father.

Man and wife were driving on I-45 highway at 65 mph, when they witnessed a disc-shaped object, with peculiar blinking light(s) on the bottom go streaking by in the opposite direction on the other side of the highway. The wife, sitting in the passenger seat, could see a hatch, door, or grating in the bottom of the craft as it went by. She turned around to view it behind their car, and noted that it had flipped up on edge after it had passed them.

It was northbound when it disappeared from their sight.

One third larger and twice as bright as venus. The object did not twinkle as one would expect if it were a star. At approximately 0515 my wife and I were driving SSE on Pondrosa St.

and at appromixmately 35 degres to the horizon she and I saw an object as discribed above flying in a NNE to SSW direction.It was flying on a 90 degres with the horizon. Ten seconds went by and the object made an abrupt 35 to 40 degre downward turn.

Take a pencil and draw a streight line for a time and then an abrupt turn downward 30 or 40 degres. This what my wife and I saw. I know of nothing that cand move like that.

I would conclude that the object was VERT high in altitude. We compared the speed of a jet liner that normally flies at say 30 thousand feet to the speed of this object and figured it was very large and high in altitude. The object was traveling 15 times the speed of a jet airliner if you observe the jet at 30 thousand feet.

The objest disappeared over the horizon. Respectfully yous, ((Radio call letters deleted.)).

A late night experience of a rotating ball with changing colors, and a aura It was a strange month that year, My wife was pregnant with our second son. I remember a couple of days before seeing the object, I had trouble sleeping, and was having wierd dreams. In my back yard, we have a drainage Ditch,and behind the ditch at that time, we had several thousand acres of farm land.

My backyard faces the West, and beyond the farm land runs the highway enter- ing Brownsville,from North to South. I remember that a couple of nights before, while being outside at night, I would see a ball of white light on the other side of the ditch. I could recall seeing the light barely over the brush along the ditch, but for some strange reason I didn't think about it.

I remember seeing it several times, and it did stand out, but for some reason I didn't check it out. But then on that night, I Decided to take my dog,(a Great Dane) for a walk, I would walk her probably every other night that month, late at night. It was a cool night, and it was clear skies, I walked to the back yard, when again I saw this light, It apeared to be moving slowly up and down.

This time I became aware of how this light was strange, and out of place. The light at that moment looked like a street light, I went to the ditch for a better look, as I got closer, I could not see it, because of the brush. The Ditch on the other side is higher than the side I was standing on, so I was trying to figure out how I could get a better view.

As I stood there, this bright light shot up from where I had seen the light, It was the size of a golf ball at arms lenth,this is the best I could describe it. It seemed to be rotating, and changing colors, It was not very bright, as bright as a 40 watt light bulb. You could see like vapor, like when you look at gasoline, is the best way I could describe it, you could see the colors change as it rotated, I can't remember though which way it was rotating(sorry), but it was rotating horizontally.

My dog also noticed it, she was scared but did not bark, She had her tail between her legs. I stood there for about 15 seconds, trying to figure out what it was, but then I became scared, And I ran inside the house thru the front door, with the dog. I remember telling my self, that no one was going to believe me about what I saw, So I ran into the bedroom and woke my wife up, I dragged her outside thru the sliding door going to my back yard.

My wife didn't know what was going on, I guess I was pretty excited, but she saw it also, but this time, it was starting to move to the Northwest slowly. It seemed to be shrinking in size, It got to the size of a pea at arms lenth. I had built a elivated platform for my son, so I climbed it, and watched it, as it dropped behind some trees in the far distance Northwest of my home.

At the time I didn't believe in ufo's, I was just a regular Joe, Didn't really give it to much thought, but now I have become a strong believer. Thank You, PS My wife was 6 months pregnant at the time.

Blue Sphere of Light - Turns into Upside Down Pyramid of Light I was standing in the alley behind the garage when I observed a large, sky blue, sphere in the southeastern sky. The sphere appeared out of nowhere and was moving at a high rate of speed. It suddenly stopped - I could not tell the size of the sphere because it had to have been at least 50 miles away - hovered for less than half a second and then shot straight into the ground.

At the very instant that it made contact with the ground a brilliant upside down pyramid of light - the same color as the sphere - shown into the sky. The light coming from the ground or impact was gone in a flash. There was no sound associated with this event.

I looked around hoping to see that someone else had witnessed this event, checked the newspaper the next day for a report and also tried to phone the local UFO hotline (it was not a working number). I had never seen anything of this nature before and have not seen a similar object since.

A small, thin object moving in a fast circular motion On the night of October 3, 1995 I was walking to a friends apartment on College Ave. when I noticed the Fort Worth Police Helicopter flying low over the near houses. Then that's when I also noticed there was another object below the helicopter.

The object seemed to be moving in a very fast circular motion making a whipping sound. The object appeared to be thin, small and white colored about the size of a small compact car with a red light on top. The FWPD helicopter appeared to be observing this one object with curiousity at a close distance.

As I watched in amazement I noticed that this object moved within a 3 block radius at the speed of a few seconds. This went on for about an hour and a half. As I left my friend's apartment headed southbound for home, object still in motion, after about 4 blocks distance the strangest thing that I noticed was after all that time no one else seemed to have noticed the event other than myself and 2 other friends.

Oddly enough, a month later in November I was at home with my son asleep in bed when I was waking up from my sleep I heard soft whispers that sounded like "He is waking up", when suddenly I was struck by a jolt of electricity on the right side of my ear and as I opened my eyes I saw a bright flash and I heard an electrifying, popping sound. After this I must have passed out for about 30 minutes and I woke up feeling very nauseated and weak as if my energy had been sucked out of me. A few days later I discovered on the back of my ear a red mark which looked like a spider bite.

Whenever I would touch the mark it was sensitive to the touch and it felt like to me that my head would explode! In the month of December while watching the news on tv they were discussing a man who had walked in the VAF building in Waco, Texas at gunpoint declaring a standoff. This man had previously appeared on a talk show discussing his daytime experience that occured at his home in Cleburne, Texas. He had videotaped an object similar to the one I saw in October hovering over hi! s stable s.

They disclosed on the show that this videotape was in no way altered. I'm led to believe that there might be a connection in our stories about this object.

This was a while back, but I have never forgotten this. I recently seen a documentary with a re-enactment that looked like exactly what I seen. Before this I had no clue what was this was.

My dad and I seen a orange ball of light that came down in a field as if it was a helicopter but speeded away and disappeared from sight in seconds. This happened in SW Houston over 25 yrs ago.

FLYING DISK AT ABOUT 40 FEET ABOVEGROUND AND NEVER MADE A SOUND. ON THIS DAY WE WERE WAITING FOR A FRIEND TO COME WALKING DOWN A DIRT ROAD FROM HIS GIRLFRIENS HOUSE. WE WERE SITTING IN THE TRUCK WHEN WE SAW AN OBJECT APPEAR OUT OF THE FIELD TO OUR RIGHT HAND SIDE.

IT MOVED VERY SLOWELY AND WAS VERY LOW TO THE GROUND. AND HAD A BIG BRIGHT RED LIGHT IN THE CENTER. AS THE OBJECT MOVED OVER US IT MADE NO SOUND AT ALL AND WAS ONLY ABOUT 40 FEET IN THE AIR AND WAS MOVING VERY SLOWLY.

THE OBJECT WAS A DISK LIKE SHAPE AND CONTINUED TO MOVE OVER THE GROUND AT THE SAME LEVEL UNTIL WE LOST SIGHT OF IT GOING OVER THE TREE LINE. TO THIS DAY WE STILL DONT KNOW WHAT IT WAS AND WE DO NOT BELIEVE IT WAS SOMETHING THAT MAN COULD HAVE MADE, BECAUSE IT HAD NO SOUND WHAT SO EVER AND LOOKED VERY ODD. WE HAVE NEVER TOLD OR TALKED ABOUT THIS SINCE IT HAS HAPPENED.

TO THIS DAY I STILL SEE MY FRIENDS THAT I WAS WITH THAT DAY AND WE HAVE NOT SPOKEN A WORD ABOUT IT SINCE THAT DAY, WE MADE A PROMISE THAT WE WOULD NEVER TELL ANYBODY, BECAUSE OF THE FEAR OF PEEOPLE MAKING FUN OF US, WE WERE VERY POPULAR KIDS IN HIGH SCHOOL AT THE TIME AND THOUGHT THAT IF WE SAID ANYTHING KIDS WOULD JOKE AND LAUGH AT US AND THAT WE WOULD LOSE OUR POPULARITY. orange globe dims and out runs F 4 I was driving home with my son who was 16 around 10 at night. As we rounded a slight curve i saw a Orange ball above the ball was a slight smoke trail like a flare would leave. I thought it was a flare at first but it did not fall it remained exactly inplace.

I pulled over and backed up to where we were directly facing it and turned off my engine. The object remain inplace about 150 feet infront and about 30 feet off the ground. It glowed but didnt illuminate the area around it.

We sat their looking at it and I flashed my headed lights at it a few times untill my son ask me to stop. Where we lived was around 25 miles from bergstrom AFB and i heard a jet coming real fast towards us. I looked to see if I could spot it but couldnt.

When i looked back the globe was not visible. I thought it was gone when I noticed their was three faint red lights in the shape of a triangle Two on the bottom and one on top. The jet was really moving on us when the lights just took off at a unbelievable rate of speed.

Like nothing I have seen before. Im pretty sure the jet was a F4 thats what was out at bergstrom at the time. they were set up with cameras and im sure other monitering devices they all were.

thats what me and my son saw if he wasnt with me i wouldnt be writing this.

Black object sits for a while in the darkness of night between earth and the moon Well one night me and my cousin where going to camp out in his back yard well as I was waiting for him to come to the back yard I was looking up into the sky. It was a clear night and I could see all the stars well as I started looking at the moon I say this black round object sitting in one position but it looked like it was moving closer to earth, I pointed it out to my cousin but he laughed at me and told me I was seeing thing but going back to this object it was all black it had a tint to it like it wasnt shiny but it wasnt a dull black either and I watched it for about 15 to 20 mins. has this ever been seen before besides me? Witnessed a bright light (Possibly due to Sun Reflection) UFO circle a satellite in flight in July, 1995 - Lake DeGray, AR. DeGray Dam - Arkadelphia, AR - On or about July 15, 1965 - While working on night-shift as a "grade-checker" - was laying, resting, on a large rock, waiting until the next blast went off, I was looking into the night sky at about 2:00 am. when, suddenly, a squiggly satellite appeared on it's loop around earth near to right over my head.

While watching, a fast-moving bright light (Possibly due to Sun Reflection) came from behind the satellites' route and quickly made 2 perfect circles around the satellite and then headed back from where it had come. Obviously, in 1995, we had no aircraft that could fly at near a satellite's speed while in orbit. Much less any aircraft that cculd additionally make perfect circles around a satellite while moving! 3 people in Abilene, TX observe star-like object performing normally physically impossible maneuvers in night sky. I had been sitting on the front porch here in Abilene, Texas, in July of 95, with my wife and one of my employees, enjoying a pleasant conversation, when I decided to walk out to the end of our sidewalk to stretch my back and legs, leaving them chatting on the couch on the front porch. Once I reached the end of the sidewalk, I looked up and noticed how bright and beautiful the stars were, so, it being such a nice, warm summer evening, I decided to lay on my back on the end of the sidewalk, and to watch the stars for awhile.

After laying there for only a few minutes, I thought I saw something move out of the corner of my eye, up in the sky, perhaps a shooting star, so I moved my gaze over to where I thought I saw it. After only a few seconds, I saw a "star" suddenly start to move in a very birarre pattern, in an area about the size of a silver dollar, held at arm's length. It moved within that area for about 10 to 30 seconds, then stopped.

When I looked away from it, and then looked back, it looked so much like any other star, that I could not differentiate it from any other star I had been seeing, so much so that I couldn't even tell if I was looking at the object that had moved, or if I was seeing a star. When the "star" moved, it did not accelerate the way everything else I had ever seen had; and when it came to a stop, it did not slowly decelerate, either. When it moved, it was instantly going full speed, and when it stopped, it just stopped.

There was no speeding up or slowing down. It was either moving at full speed, or it wasn't. And when it turned or changed direction, it did not do so with a curving movement; it just suddenly changed directions, often changing it's direction of movement 45, 90, even 180 degrees, going back the direction it had come from! After performing these "movements" for 30 seconds or so, it would stop for about that same length of time, and then start moving again.

After seeing that happen a couple of times, the reality of what I was seeing, that I was definately seeing a genuine UFO, so overwhelmed me, that I actually wondered if I was losing my mind! So much so that it actually scared me! I needed someone else to tell me if they were seeing this too, so I got up and, unbelievably calmly and quietly asked my wife if she would mind walking out to the end of the sidewalk with me. She did, and when we got to the end of the walk, I turned my back to where Pete was up on the porch, 40 feet away, and told her, "Honey, I want to ask you something, and when you answer me, no matter what you have to say or how you feel, I want you to WHISPER your answer to me, and I don't want you to make ANY kind of movements with your arms or hands, or even your head, that Pete can see from up there on the porch. In fact, I am going to stand with my body between you and Pete, and if you have any pointing to do, be sure my body is between the two of you so that he cannot see you.

(I am a full head taller than her, and wider.) Do you understand?" She said yes, so without looking up or pointing, I told her, "I want you to look up into the sky, where the stars are, right directly above my head, but do it very casually to where Pete won't notice, and I want you to tell me if you see anything unusual, but remember! Do not SAY or do anything that Pete could hear or see." I stood very, very close to her, doing my best to block Pete's view of her, and she began to search the sky above us.

After about 20 seconds she started to say, "Honey, I don't know what you're wanting me to see, cause I'm not seeing anything.", and just as the last word was leaving her mouth, I saw her eyes get big, and a very excited, stunned look come on her face, and knew she had seen it too, so I very quickly whispered, "shhhhh! Don't say it! Whisper it in my ear!" I leaned over and put my ear close to her mouth, and she whispered, with trembling and excitement in her voice: "A star! There's a STAR moving around in a very weird way! It's zipping around, changing directions, and not speeding up or slowing down!" I told her, "take my hand, and with your finger, trace out the pattern that it is making." And she drew the exact patterns on my hand that I had seen the "star" make.

With great relief, having been reassured that I was not going insane, I whispered "thank you" to her, and told her that I was going to call Pete out and go through the same thing with him, and for her to be very careful not to give him any verbal or visual ques whatsoever as to what we had seen, or what we wanted him to look for. To make a long story short, I repeated this same "test" with Pete, and he too, went through almost the same exact stages that my wife had gone through; at first not seeing anything, and then the sudden realization that he, too, was seeing something like nothing else he had ever seen in his life! We watched that object for a couple of hours, as it performed "maneuvers" in a certain area of the sky, about the size of a silver dollar held at arm's length, and then, after doing that for several minutes, it would suddenly make a "long jump" over to another part of the sky, where it would repeat the same or similar maneuvers that we had seen it do, in the location it had just left. We all feel absolutely sure that this object was a long ways outside of any atmosphere surrounding our planet, and while it certainly appeared to actually be as far away as the stars themselves, especially when the objected stopped, I realize it was probably actually between the earth and the stars, probably far closer to earth, than to the stars, although when the craft stood still, it looked so much like all the stars, that there was NO way you could tell if you were looking at a star, or at the craft! (I have a feeling that this was deliberate on the part of "some body!") We watched it for perhaps two hours, during which time it slowly made it's way from almost straight overhead, to towards the southeast.

(My wife says it moved towards the southWEST.) We watched it for so long that we could no longer stay awake, having all of us put in a hard work week, and seeing that it was apparently going to do nothing but continue what we had been seeing it do for the past two or three hours, my wife and I went in and to bed, and Pete went home. Even now, years later, we still sometimes watch for it to reappear, as we are sure and hope that it will.

Since then, I visit endless websites and listen to Coast To Coast AM and other programs almost every single day, hoping to hear about others who have seen a similar object, and every now and then, I do! In fact, I read of someone seeing what is apparently the same exact object, only YESTERDAY, October 16, 2003, on the National UFO Reporting website, and so I felt prompted to also post my report of this similar sighting. In conclusion, I'd like for it to be known that I am 50 years old, that I was born on an Air Force Base, that I have been a student pilot, and have attended dozens of air shows, and have watched many television programs about air craft, but I have never, ever seen anything that could even remotely do the kinds of things that this craft did! Unless the pilot of the vehicle had some kind of survival gear light years ahead of anything we have now, there is no way a human could have survived the instantaneous application of g-forces that were obviously applied to the body of the vessel's pilot, (if it even had one!) And obviously, the craft itself had to be light years ahead of anything we have now. Having been a communications technician, and always being strongly interested in these kinds of things, I would dearly love to have the opportunity to work with, and hopefully even to take a ride in, one of these vehicles, some day! PS: Abilene is the home of Dyess Air Force Base, the home of the B1 bomber, and this incident happened about 3 miles from the base, but over East Abilene, not over the base.

I have, however, since seen a missile like object, during the "Gulf War," take off from the area north of Dyess, go apparently to the edge of the atmosphere, and arc over, then to head east towards the general direction of the Middle East.

IT WAS 12:00 MIDNIGHT JULY THE FOURTH AND WE WERE LOOKING AT THE FIREWORKS ME AND MY FRIENDS I LOOKED UP AND SAW A LIGHT NOT BLINKING BUT GOING AROUND AND AROUND A STAR THEN IT JUMPED TO ANOTHER THEN ANOTHER LIKE SURVEYING THEM IT FINALLY VANISHED INTO VENUS IT LASTED ABOUT 2 MINUTES THE OBJECT WAS A BRIGHT WHITE LIGHT JUMPING TO EACH ONE OF THE STARS IT FINALLY VANISHED INTO THE PLANET VENUS.

perfectly round object w/lights around perimeter, large one in cent., made a hoovering sound, lights glowed white to yellow to orang San Antonio Texas The Object Was Huge Date: 1995 Time: 6:00 p.m.

(dusk) Location of Sighting: Water Gardens in Corpus Christi above the Harbor Bridge. Number of witnesses: 5 Number of objects: 1 Shape of objects: Perfectly Round with lights around perimeter, and one big light in the center. Full Description of event/sighting: Well anyway me and my wife are down at the Water Gardens and I am telling her all about this boy and the pictures, and just feeding her with all this info.

(witness was referring to a MUFON meeting he attended) well she finally says look! I will listen to you and all that but don't push this stuff on me. I have to see to believe, at that moment I made a request to them (aliens I guess) I wish they would come down right now so you can see them and believe in them. Like I do.

Well at that moment in conversation I told her in Spanish." look in the sky. Here comes a car.

" There were two lights directly above the Harbor Bridge like back behind it a little . She laughed and we just kept talking thinking the whole time it was probably a plane or something. Well for some reason I was watching it in the corner of my eye, and then realized like in no time it was directly above us.

At this point my wife was starting to freak, and I was so full of excitement that this was happening. I remember looking up and this object was huge, and made no sound. that was scary .

something that big floating above us and all you could here was a hovering noise.a very faint hovering noise. not loud at all.

The lights glowed from white to yellow to green and then the reverse. The object then moved directly behind the Art Building, came to a perfect stop and made a 90 degree turn around the corner of the building going beyond our sight. I was trying to run to the other side of the building and my wife was pulling on my hand.

She did not want me to go because she was scared. I finally broke loose and ran around the building only to see the object blink out. It jumped from near the art building to about 1 or 2 miles out above the bay and then just blinked out again and disappeared.

My wife to this day does not like talking about this incident. She is old school. you know every thing has to have an explanation.

TRIANGLE UFO SIGHTING IN AMARILLO TX I HAVE DISCOVERED THIS 8MM CASSETTE TAPE FROM MY FATHERS HOUSE AND IT CONTAINS A UFO IN THE SKY IT IS NOT A FAKE. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE A TRIANGLE OBJECT IN THE CLEARBLUE SKY FOR ABOUT A MINUTE AND ALL OF A SUDDEN SOMETHING LIKE A LIGHT OR A SCANNER COMES FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE OBJECT KINDA LIKE A DROPDOWN OR SOMETHING. i HAVE A FRIEND WHO ABSOLUTELY BELIEVES THIS IS REAL AND HAS SEEN THE SAME THING BEFORE.

Sunny evening.shiney cigar shaped object moving slowly rotating.then disappeared, later followed by 3 military aircraft About three years ago, I and two of my friends, were washing our cars in my freinds driveway.

it was about 18:00 (6pm) the sun was about an hour or two from setting. My freind ((Name deleted)) noticed a wierd looking object in the sky to the west. He drew my attention to the object as well as my other friend ((Name deleted)).

The object i witnessed apeared to be bigger than a commercial airline, in the form of a long cigar (like a 747 with no wings or tail). The object hovered vertically, which was why i didn't think it was an airliner. It appeared to drift slowly to the north after about two minutes.

as it did this a white illumination encompassed it. The Illumination dimmed after about three minutes, and when it dimmed completely the object dissapeared (in no direction without sound) Just as we had convinced ourselves it was an airplane refecting the setting sun, a formation of 3 low flying, military style, black helicopters flew by directly over head in the direction we viewed the object. These helicopter were followed shortly after by 2 military jets (f-15? f-18? not really sure) at a much higher altitude but in the same direction.

Coincidense?.
