strange lights outside of bedroom window, little aliens Extra-terrestrial Contact 3rd event: In the summer of 1970, August 3rd, Corpus Christi was devastated by hurricane Celia. It wiped out the city, martial law was imposed, the National Guard shot and killed 9 looters over the course of the next two months. We were without power or electricity until mid-October of that year.

Soon after power was restored, one night in my outside my bedroom window, late at night, a very bright red and blue light appeared in backyard. The lights moved up and down through a very heavily branched cedar tree. I didn’t get up out of bed because I was way too scared to see.

Later that night, I woke up and I am not sure if I was hallucinating and seeing small little people with big fat heads and very big eyes in room looking around. I put the covers over my head and wished that they would go away. Nothing else happened then I fell asleep.

Full Report Text:

Three white light plasma craft (w intelligent thought) sped across Texas sky and the shot up into atmosphere. San Angelo, TX is the home of Goodfellow AFB - a Top Secret/NSA/Tri-service training facility. West Texas.

Sheep country. I had a Air Force Top Secret Crypto (very high) security clearance at the time. A fellow male trainee and I along with my wife exited an apartment in San Angelo and were walking toward my car to go out to dinner.

Goodfellow AFB is not too far from the apartment complex. It was dark, starry night. Big Texas sky, flat horizon country.

No clouds. As we were walking to the car, we all three looked over our shoulder at the same time and saw up in the sky near the high cloud level (no clouds), three bright white plasma craft in formation (the size of .5 inch each) moving rapidly across the sky.

They stopped allowed us to gaze on them and then shot perpendicular straight up in the sky in a split second (extremely high rate of speed) and disappeared in the atomosphere. We all looked at each other and our thoughts were "What was that?" In addition, what I remember the most was the objects had a kind of intelligence. Thought intelligence.

As if they wanted us to turn around and see them. Then, when we did they took off. Goodfellow AFB is not an aircraft base.

It is a NSA (and military intelligence) training center. So, there were no Air Force jet aircraft in the vicinity no matter what time of day. The other airman I was with became a Baptist Minister and to this day denies he ever saw anything (against his religion).

My wife (ex-wife) married again and lives in Washinton State. I have no contact with her. I am writing this as a result of the CoasttoCoastAM radio broadcast April 9, 2004.

I would have written to you soon, but I thought you wanted reports on recent sightings. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. We would like to have all UFO sightings reported to our Center, irrespective of the date of occurrence.

Full Report Text:

Saucer shaped object seen between Brady and Cherokee Texas We saw a saucer shaped object. It had lights that looked like the game simon. The lights circled ,red, blue, green, around it.

It made no sound that I could hear and it sure wasn't an airplane.I couldn't tell really what shape it was but the lights circled it so I assume it was round. This happen a long time ago ,but when I found your site I just had to write you about it.

We were so scared,my husband, myself,my girlfriend and her boyfriend were riding around out in the country about 30 minutes from Brady. My friend and I decided to get in the back of the pickup,I was 15 and she was 16 or there abouts.Anyway we were just having fun.

I don't know where this thing came from,it was there in the next minute. It was very close to the ground and scared us so bad we got the guys attention and got back inside the truck. The guys didn't know what it was but we hightailed it back to town(Brady).

It followed us all the way back to town. When we got in the city lights we couldn't see it any more.So we decided to go out to the race track to see if it was still around, about two miles.

And sure enough there it was,so we hurry to turn around and go back to town.Well we said ok lets go out to the airport(real small one).Anyway when we get to the airport there it is again, scared us so bad we went home.

I asked my friend if she remembered it a while back and she said she did.Anyway that was the first time I had ever seen anything like it. But a few years later, about 1978 we had moved out by the airport.

One nite I don't even recall why I was outside but something came over my house so low I could see the underside of it but I can't recall the shape it was just huge.It made no sound and looked like it was gliding over, so close to the roof of my house. But for some reason I didn't feel scared.

It was a gray steel color no shine and no lights on it. My sister lived up the road and I was telling her about it and she said she and some others were standing on her porch. She said it landed in the field across the road.

I promise you I'm not telling a fib.It really happened and I'm more aware of the skys, but I have never seen anything else.My husband is a ((deleted--specialist in construction and related trades)) and I'm a retired ((deleted--service industry)).

I just wish I could remember more about what happened.I would like to get together with the others and see what they remember about that nite.We no longer live in Brady but still have friend and relatives there.

Thank you for your site, people laugh when I tell them we saw a ufo when we were younge but I can tell you I'm a believer for sure. Also I'm guessing about the date,I know school was just out for summer or about to start because it was initation night in Brady ,when the older high school kids initate the freshmen in to school.I have written a pretty long letter trying to explain so delete whatever you need to.

Also I would like to say that it happened about 9:30 at nite but I didn't know how to put the time in for that. You can contact me via e-mail if you need to or call but it has been a long time now.I don't know how you would be able to get any information except from the four of us now.

Thank you for your patience in reading this long letter. ((NUFORC Note: We suspect the date of the sighting is approximate, although the witness does not indicate that fact. One of three seemingly credible reports from same source.

Saucer very low to ground I was gazing out of open window facing the west. I noticed a bright object moving east toward me. Intercontinental Airport is directly to the east of our house, and I was used to the flight patterns of the airplanes and it was not in an approach position.

It was very slow moving, getting brighter and larger as it approached. I awaken my younger sister (16 at that time) and pulled her to the window. The object was a saucer shaped object with lights surrounding it (amber and green), with no sound at all.

The window was open and it was a very still night. It moved directly over our house, was bigger than 2 houses put together and was very low in the sky. I ran out of the back door and stood on the steps and watched it moving directly toward the FAA on Kennedy Blvd.

It was the slowest moving airborne object I have ever seen. I went back inside to call the FAA to notify them, dropped the phone and awakened my Father who would not go outside to see if he could see it. He sent me to bed.

My younger sister and I have never stopped talking about this. Either of us could be notified. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate, we assume.

Exact moon-like object on ground, rising up, then streaking like a falling star In the summer of 1970, at approx 11PM, me and my best friend E, were raccoon hunting in the river bottom off 103E, between Lufkin and Crockett. We had circled the Marian Field in his truck and I was spot lighting the trees up and down, trying to catch the shining eyes of a critter. E suddenly told me to turn the light off.

In front of us, the woods were lit up at ground level. We were discussing that maybe it was his cousins, R and M coming in the jeep to hunt with us. While we were watching, it rose to treetop level and looked exactly like the moon – only huge.

E cursed and quickly turned the truck around and sped back around toward the gate. I urged him to stop because the object was no longer in sight. He stopped the truck, and while we sat there for a minute, it reappeared like a falling star.

But, instead of just streaking and disappearing, it came straight at us, becoming the huge moon again. It was so scary, I begin to raise my gun up, and Eddy pushed it back down and shouted, “Don’t shoot it”. Then he tried to back up real fast, but let the clutch out too fast and the truck died.

He cursed more, restarted it and took off backwards. I told him to stop because the river was right behind us and there was nowhere to go. He stopped and we sat there for maybe a minute looking at it, it was huge.

If anyone saw it at this point, they would have said, “Man, look how big and bright the moon is”. That is exactly what it looked like, nothing else. It looked very close, but we could not tell how far it was, maybe a million miles.

He then took off toward the gate, and as we went through towards the woods, I looked back through the back window at it - we had passed under it, so it couldn’t have been very high up. We went straight back to his grandmother’s house, woke her up and told her what we had seen. She listened, and then said, “It’s a sign Eddy Boy, it’s a sign.

” From then on, anything that happened, we repeated that like a joke. I went back about a week later with another friend C M, and we saw a bunch of falling stars, but nothing else. E and I both saw the same thing, but he said it was going back and forth toward us when it reappeared, but, to me it was exactly like a falling star – that is the only difference in what we witnessed.

It was very clear- there were no clouds and visibility was fine. We were both 18 years old, completely sober and in full control of all our faculties. It looked exactly like the moon, nothing else, but it was certainly ‘not’ the moon.

Both of us still think about it and discuss it. I have given it a lot of thought, since then, and think that, just like a David Copperfield optical illusion, anyone at anytime could look up and witness the same thing and not even know it. They would only think how big and bright the moon is….

until it moved as fast as a falling star, right at them, scaring the living crap out of them. I am a retired letter carrier, and retired registered nurse and the above is an entirely true event described as accurately as I can. It is as clear now as it was at the time.

Full Report Text:

Saucer flew over house in Houston It was on a pleasant night, and my windows facing the west were open. Intercontinental Airport had opened the year before and I was very familiar with the landing routes of the airplanes. I was looking at the few stars I was able to see when I saw a very bright "star" APPROACHING from the west.

It grew larger by the minute with lights becoming visible all around the structure. I remember that they were green and red and I seem to remember an amber light on the bottom of the structure. It was a silverish saucer-shaped craft, moving at an unbelievably slow pace, no more than a mile or two an hour with absolutely no sound at all! As it was almost directly overhead of our house, I jumped up and woke my younger sister, practically ripping her out of the bed, dragging her to the window so that she would also see it.

She was groggy but amazed. I jumped up from the floor by the window and ran down the hall and out the back door. I stood on the back door step and watched it maintain its slow pace overhead, heading due east, directly in the path of JFK Blvd and the FAA!! As it slowly proceeded that way, I ran back inside to the telephone to see if I could get the number to the FAA so that they could witness this also.

I was so nervous that I dropped the phone and my father got up. I tried to get him to go outside to see if it was still visible, but he sent me to bed. This has stuck with me all my life.

I will never forget it. I dont know how long I was outside observing it, but it was a huge saucer, perhaps 125 ft across with maybe an altitude of less than 200ft. My sister for years had denied seeing it, but now we discuss it openly as she has seen unusual things in Mississippi where she now lives.

Fort Worth, TX

Full Report Text:

Scintillating silvery, metallic object, probably disk-shaped, apparently changing attitude I was standing on the crest of a hill above my parent's house (in Fort Worth, Texas), looking northwards, on 20 March 1970 (approximate date) at about 4:00 PM (I was 13 years old at the time). I would sometimes look for air traffic from Carswell Air Force, to my west, from this vantage point. The sky was clear.

There was no air traffic in my immediate field of view. I noticed a silvery, metallic object about 30 degrees above the horizon, due north. It appeared to be elliptical, but was probably disk-shaped (1).

The object was perhaps two degrees in size, measured along its horizontal axis, and appeared to be fairly distant (there were no physical points of reference that would allow me to judge the size or distance of the object). The outline of the object's surface was distinct. I might not have noticed the object had it not changed its physical appearance while I was watching it.

It appeared to scintillate or "wink", causing the object briefly to "disappear", or at least become difficult to see. For the duration of the observation, the object did not move horizontally or vertically from its position, nor did it appear to change size. I presumed from this that the object was spatially motionless.

I could detect no sound from the object, although this may have been a function of the object's possible distance from me. (1) I could not, at the time, account for the object's scintillation, although I thought it might have been due to some kind of movement. I now believe the object was in fact disk-shaped, having an apparent elliptical shape due to the oblique angle at which I was viewing it.

I also now believe that the object's scintillation, or "winking", was the result of the object changing its attitude relative to my position. If, for example, the object had been shifting its attitude (relative to me, the observer) by, say, plus/minus 45 degrees along its horizontal axis, it might have appeared to be a scintillating ellipse. I observed the object for perhaps 10 minutes, after which I could no longer visually resolve it in the fairly bright sky.

Had the object been a conventional fixed-wing or rotor-winged aircraft, I believe I would have been able to track its movement from its (apparent) rest position to a point in the sky where it would have been obscured by some intervening object or would have gone below my field of view. It was not a lighter-than-air vehicle (e.g.

, a blimp or weather balloon), as I had seen these in Fort Worth before and was familiar with their appearance in the sky. It was not a missile, as I was also familiar with their appearance in the sky. The fact that the object appeared to loiter also presents some difficulties with its being a conventional aircraft.

The object did not appear to be any meteorological phenomenon - at least none with which I was or am familiar. It was also not an astronomical phenomenon. The sky was far too bright to have allowed stars to be seen and, as we all know, planets do not scintillate.

The object could have been some type of experimental vehicle. Working for a major manufacturer of advanced (read classified) air vehicles, though, I do not believe this would have been the case. If for no other reason, disk-shaped structures are difficult to control aerodynamically with current technology.

It is also difficult to explain why an experimental (or conventional) air vehicle would want to change its attitude in the manner this object appeared to have. I am 46 years old. I live in Los Angeles, CA.

I studied astronomy and physics as an undergraduate and have two Master's degrees (although not in physics or astronomy). As I mentioned above, I work for an aerospace company, selling manned and unmanned air vehicles and systems. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.
