Fireball in Alvarado My cousin and I were both about 8 years old. If my memory serves me correctly, it was Thanksgiving night. We were playing behind the house on our uncle's two-acre property.

I looked up for some reason and a fireball seemed to descend at a slight arc directly into my face. The fireball was changing with reds, oranges, and yellows moveing about and actually looked as if it was on-fire. From my prospective, it changed from the size of a golf ball to totally engulfing my whole line of sight.

It only took about 2 seconds for it to descend to me and it was not a direct path, but instead slightly arcing. Startled, I looked at my cousin who also seemed surprised. We briefly discussed the occurrence with great excitement, as children do, and ran back to the house.

I can't remember the exact reaction from any of our adult relatives, but I do recall that no notice was paid to our story. To this day, my cousin and I remember and occasionally discuss our experience. The hair on my neck stands up every time.

I don';t know exactly what happened, but this two-second occurrence has solidified my belief in intelligent life beyond earth. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. PD)).

UFO in weat feild - Honey Grove - Texas About the Winter of 1984 my friend and I were riding his Honda 185s 3- wheeler just north of the small town of Honey Grove , Texas. We were actually riding on the public golf course (knowing we were not suppose to! We were about 10-11 yrs old) and ther was a back way out of the golf course. So after driving over a couple greens and tee boxes we deside to go the back way out that leads to a gravel road about 3/4 of a mile from the GC.

We head out and down through this trail that at first is thick trees and then becomes an open plowed feild. We ran through this trail many times before. Well, just at the end of the trail, the tree line stops and the open feild begins and there is a jump or a dirt mound that we always liked to jump.

We get up some speed and ramp this dirt mound and become airbourne! As soon as we land and look ahead my bud slamms the breaks and we both say at the same time "What the hell is that!" The craft was about 50yrds in front of us and hoovering about 30 to 40 feet or treetop high. It seemed to be moving very slowly to the east away from us. (It has been 20 yrs but I still remember it well) I knew immediatly what it was and I told my bud to turn around and get the hell out of here, but he wanted to observe it for a minute and I said "that is a UFO and the dam thing will take us up if we don't go" and that scared him, so we tured around and boogied off back through the golf course.

Nobody was playing golf that day cause it was wet and cold. Although, that day was very clear and the sun was just starting to set. The UFO looked like it had a welding ark multiplied by 100 on the top and all colored lights like a rainbow dimmer than the top "ark" brightness.

How I could tell it was round was because in the middle of it, this row of approx. 2' tall by 1' wide squares of orange lights would start at a point at us and go around to the otherside of the craft and then end up back at us, but moving constantly. I could hear a faint hum over the 3-wheeler at idle.

It sounded like what a guardlight sounds like in your back yard. Besides the lights, the color of it, looked to be smooth stainless steel or some alloy. I was only 11 yrs old, but my mom had seen somthing a few years before and started researching the UFO thing and talking to people in the area that had seen things like UFO's.

I was, and still am, up to date on all the latest Technology as far as Public "need to know" goes. I have 2 brothers, 1 in the USAF serving in Both gulf wars and knows a lot of stuff about a lot of things along these lines, and another that was in for 4 yrs and got out. I have worked at a top secret Gov.

facility but I won't go into detail on that. I know this UFO was definitly a UFO. In a rual town near a rual road in a wheat feild looking like that!! I've been waitng for somthing to look like it for 20 yrs but I have not.

There had been a lot of strange sightings around that area in the early 80's. If someone can explain what it was please do so. I'm not sure if it took us up, but I'm sure curious! I have a diviated septum if it means anything.

My bud became one of my enemies later in life over a girl, so I don't know if I could talk to him about it, but I think we could. ((Follow-up report from same witness. PD)) Controled flight. Extremely low altitude.

Extremely slow speed. NO SOUND! Observed at close distances. I was listening to Peter Grabiel's new video on MTV as I walked out and stood in the cool, crisp, night air of mid-October.

The East Texas sky was clear and, as usual, filled with millions of twinkling stars. I could see the Dairy Queen sign that stands beside HWY.8 and was watching the extremely light traffic as it moved east and west along the highway.

As I looked further east, just past the huge, blue water tower that stood between me and the highway, I noticed a pair of lights. I assumed it must be a special heavy hauler rig and I waited anxiously for it to pass by the water tower so I could get a better look at it. The lights were above the normal flow of traffic, but I never suspected that they were high enough to be flying and the "truck" was moving very, very slow.

As I waited for it to pass the water tower and reappear, I assumed that it must have pulled over.The lights that I had been observing west- bound, at just under a half-mile, was now traveling south-west. As it manuevered around the water tower at about 1800 yards distance, I could clearly see that this was an aircraft.

It's altitude was less than 35 feet and at it's present speed it would be directly above my head in about 15 minutes. My camera was out of film but I had a M-1 carbine with a 30 round clip full of tracer rounds. I went in the house and got it.

A line of pine trees marked the boundry where my backyard joined my neighbor's yard. 45 yards beyond those trees lies the street that runs in front of his house. The craft was now above the old boat factory, about 300 yards, and as I watched it float, ever so slowly, I saw a bright-white light come on which was located directly in the center of the bottom of the craft.

I flipped the safety off of the carbine that I was holding as the UFO approached the street which runs in front of my neighbor's home. Directly above the street, the rear of the craft came about as it again, changed it's direction and followed the street west. I am now sixty yards from this craft as it floats through the air so low that the orange reflection from the newly installed amber street lamp was clearly visible on it's shiny, brushed aluminum appearing skin.

NO SOUND! NOT A WHISPER!!NOTHING! It was moving so slow, I had to stop moving to make sure that it was not hovering. My neighbor's home is a low, ranch styled home about 80 feet long. I observed the craft through the pines that joined our yards as it moved over his home.

As it centered his home, about 20 feet of the craft extended beyond each end of his home, giving it a length of 120'.I readied my carbine and aimed at the center of the bright-white light. The bottom of the UFO was flat with a slight hump toward the rear of the craft.

It had a light on each of it's three, rounded corners. These outer lights had the old, yellowish glow, like older vehicles. The top-half of the craft was rounded and egg- shaped and reached a height of at least 15'-20'.

I moved across my neighbor's yard and as I stepped into the street, I observed the craft pass directly over a family's home, and comparing the two, the UFO was 60' across the rear and was about 15' across it's nose. I didn't shoot at the UFO . Those tracer rounds could have bounced off of it, stuck in one of my neighbor's roofs, and could have burned their house down.

I watched the craft as it stayed it's course and went out of sight. At the time I witnessed this UFO, I was a conveyor mechanic for a government contractor. I've worked on air bases all over this nation and there are no aircraft available in our arsenals that can hover 30' off the ground without making a sound.

If a human being stands within 60' of any hovering aircraft made on this earth, with the very latest, most advanced, technology known to man, that human being WILL hear that aircraft!! This sighting makes nine UFO sightings that I've experianced over the years while living in East Texas. These entities are real, people. What I've described here is true.

That craft was just as real as the 1985 Chevrolet Silverado that's setting in my driveway. I hate these things. I hate what they've done to peoples lives.

I hate the way they can come and go and stalk us. If they are so damned intelligent, then they know what they are doing to us is wrong. Make no mistake about it, I will pull that trigger to stop the threat!!.

I cant remember very well now but i think it happened on a thursday night.i needed school paper for the folowing day and i told my parents at the last minute that night,,and because i was a kid still, i didnt want to go alone to the store.an H.

E.B. that was approx 5 blocks away.

so i ask my older brother to go w/me.and he did; i had to go walking and had to walk down an alley behind an hardware store/warehouses.and being a kid of course i was scare to go alone.

well anyway on the way back as i was crossing the street where the alley started something made me look up at the sky and there they were: this beautiful looking lights in the sky they had a blue halo and a bright white center they were the most amazing things i ever seen in my life and i didnt want to turn my eyes away from them afraid they wouldnt be there when i look back up.i know i was telling my self i knew they existed and nothing was going to make me loose sight of them not now.i wanted to turn and run to the sherrifs office that was across the street i just had crossed but didnt want to take a chance and not know what happened to the lights.

so i kept on looking up and saw this formation a V formation of lights hover over me .they didnt look very far away from the ground i thought maybe 3 to 5 lights poles high and as i look at the lights all kinds of thoughts were rushing through my mind.could it be planes i thought .

but these things werent making any kind of sound.no engine no wind whisltling like that of gliders nothing.and i looked at the back ground and i could still see the stars behind the lights so i knew it wasnt a big plane flying low i knew these lights were individule crafts of some kind and as they traveled from north to south they seemed to drop with out stoping or slowing down.

but just for a split second and then they started to climbed at a steady angle and evetually desappeared to faint pin poits in the souther night sky .then about two minute later i heard an engine of a plane it was a sma! ll prop plane looked like a cesna and it was flying almost just as low and i could see this plane pretty clear with the help of the city lights .i believe who ever was on that plane that night was also a witness and probably was chasing these lights to see where they were going.

i never told anyone except my parents that night. and i still wonder who those other people were in the airplane and if they ever cought up w/ the lights.… ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

2 experience with unkown It is happen so many eons ago, I am not sure about year: something between 1982 and 1984. I didn’t think that you would be interested, but as I listened to you on Coast to Coast I understood that I should write it down. I was walking around 5am to the bus stop to get to my job and I usually took the shortest way to the bus using back door of my back yard.

Back of my house was facing the bayou and across of that was just empty space (later on apartments were build there) As I started to walk I looked at the sky and saw full moon on my left across the bayou over the empty space. And something felt strange: moon looked reddish and was low, not up in the sky. And then I looked to the right of me, and there was a real moon in the sky! I suddenly was scared and run as fast as I could to the bus stop.

Next morning I decided to take a long way to the bus stop (it was a different stop and it would take me 10 minutes longer, but I would by walking by houses in the neighborhood). As I turn to one of the streets I saw a black van parked on the street in front of one of the houses and in near the van I saw 2 tall men standing and watch what I thought several children playing on the front yard; I am nearsighted so it took me sometime when I came near the children to see that it was not children, and either I blocked instantly what those beings look like or it was blocked from me. I was terrified from what I saw and I could not even describe it immediately when I happened.

I started to run (in my mind I heard that they were amused my terror). I run all the way to the bus. That is my 2 experiences which I want to report.

my friend and I drove out to the country, near his father's property, which is located in or just outside of Manor, Texas. we just went out there to talk. I was leaning against the car and I think he was standing when all of a sudden in the not too far distance we saw an astonishing bright white light that kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger.

we never saw the craft. the wild dogs in the area were howling at it. I was really just so amazed and my friend was feeling more protective and cautious and excited about it, so he said he thought we ought to get in the car.

We got in the car and he took out his rifle. I said what are you going to do, shoot at a spacecraft??? he answered: "yes if I have to!" . It was very odd .

we didnt see the spacecraft but we HEARD it CLEARLY . the mechanical noise whirring past us . it was really a different kind of experience.

We were amazed and then curiosity got the best of us and we decided to follow it or go look for it. We drove a little way down a country road and then decided we were IDIOTS . for what would we do if we FOUND it? We got scared and returned to his office where he worked.

It was rather a peculiar thing. It was definitely a mechanical sound but unlike a plane sound, unlike a helicopter sound, unlike anything I'd ever heard before. I wonder what it was.

Stationary ball of bright light, changes color and moves rapidly across Texas night sky in 1984 My wife and I lived just outside Austin, Texas at the time in a small area called 'Oakhill. We were headed off to see a 10pm movie in town and were sort of in a hurry to make it. As we came to a stop sign at HWY 290 to make a left turn towards Austin, I noticed a larger-than normal ranch light looming above the hill country/woods across the highway.

I was staring at it, wondering why a ranch light was suspended so high up. My wife began asking me what I was looking at, and after I showed her, she calmly said. 'What is it? I honestly didn't know.

We kept looking at it which seemed for minutes, but no movement. I thought maybe it's a jet or plane on a extended flight path into Austin International coming straight at us with a landing light on or something making it appear to be stationary. Shortly, the Bright blueish-white ball or cicle of light began to fade down in intensity and sort of move slowly to the left ( East ) kind of parallel to our highway.

Along the back of the circle were two blue rings one atop of the other. My wife and I had opened her moon-roof to try to hear better or get a better view while all of this was happening, but we never could hear any sound whatsoever. The night was a typical 'Texas evening to where you could have heard a pin drop.

Not one sound, except for an occasional car passing out on the highway. No one else on the road stopped,slowed down, or appeared to notice what we were looking at. My wife and I were not sleep deprived, drunken or under the influence of anything.

We had only been in a hurry to get to a movie in town. As our object began moving, I started the car back up and took off in dirction of town as we both tried to keep track of it. With my wife and I both reasonably excited, 'her telling me to turn on my lights as well as to watch the road, the object shot fast for what appeared to be several miles, then turn at sharp angle, super fast again and then straight-up disappearing from sight.

It all happened incredibly quick and within a few seco! nds if t hat. It was like watching an old episode of 'startrek when they would shoot off into space suddenly. It truly was the strangest-weirdest thing I had ever seen, and I've seen a lot of stuff in my life.

I had been in the Air Force as a crewchief on fighter jets and other planes and had never seen any aircraft/jet/plane etc. to do what I saw. Also to note, I am a very-realistic person about things and have always been a sceptic of 'UFO's in general.

My wife and I DID see this object as we've told. That night, we both decided to forget the movie as we planned on seeing for as we were both excited/upset from what we saw. I was really thrown by the whole thing because I couldn't make sense of just what we saw.

We drove back to our that night with me constantly asking my wife, 'Did you see that?, Did we really just see that?? I think she was more scared than anything, because she knew by looking at me that we saw something that wasn't right. After getting home, I did call the Police Dept. in town assuring them that this wasn't a prank or that we were not drunk or anything asking them if any one else had called about a strange light over the southwest Austin area, they said no, but it sounded interesting.

Get this, they told me I might get a hold of the 'Air-force base or project blue book if it's still out there. I assured them that it wasn't and told them that I worked on the Air force base( Bergstrom AFB at the time ) and didn't know of any numbers there to call. I thanked them for their time.

Interestingly enough, when I called the Airport and spoke to a very-interested and nice person in the tower (APP-CON) they had asked me all the times and location of my event and then directed me to our local 'Travis-county sheriffs dept. The only traffic they (APP-CON) had noticed or had been with that night was a small cessna inbound over the Lake Travis area at around 9:15PM. After calling the 'Sheriffs dept and again ensuring them this was not a prank, they asked a few questions about the incident, like time/our ! location etc.

followed by, 'No we don't think your crazy or making it up, ten or so other people have called us as well about some strange lights over your area. The sheriffs deputy said we can send an officer over if you would like us to make out a report, it's up to you. He said, what ever we saw sounded interesting, and that they had a small incident reporting checklist he would use.

My wife and I both agreed, and within a few minutes, a very nice-concerning officer appeared on our street and began looking at us both, asking questions. Before the officer left, he did say, 'Whatever you saw sounds pretty cool, you and a lot of other's seem to have saw the same thing tonight based upon what you guy's described to me. I have told a few folk's here and there about what happened that night, mainly not to forget that evening, but mostly to share a very 'real experience that happened to myself and another person.

For many night's after that one evening, my wife would say what's wrong? as I would stand back looking out our windows. I would tell her that I felt really strange, 'Like I saw something that I shouldn't have and it's going to come back or something. I (We )have never seen anything since that evening.

Brilliant white "sparkling" light, like a 100,000 sparkler-sticks, appearing suddenly and moving silently across the sky above trees. It was a summer's night and I'd recently had an intense religious experience. I had become a Christian in the traditional sense of accepting Jesus/God into my soul/heart.

I was outdoors praying very, very intensely. The most intensely I've ever prayed. Suddenly I heard a voice in my head say to look around behind me.

I turned and saw a large white brilliant light that was sparkling like a 100,000 glitter-sticks. It was slowly moving, soundlessly, across the sky, above the tree-tops, and above my parent's house. It was silent.

It suddenly just dissappeared. No noise, no smoke, nothing. I did not see or hear anything after the incident.

It scared me. I walked quickly into the house. I felt at the time that I'd experienced a "close encounter" with an alien of some sort.

I was truly afraid. I walked into my parent's house, went immediately to my mother's desk, and wrote a poem about titled, 'The Light.' I told others what I'd seen.

Some were interested, some not, but the Youth Director at my church took the poem and sent it to some publishers. I did not know he'd done this until he approached me one day and said that he'd done so and had two offers to print the poem. I was paid money for my permission.

One magazine printed the poem and illustrated a young man looking up into the sky at a brilliant light. Something of interest is that before I this incident, I'd seen what looked like a very unusual "shooting star," several times. Each time I saw it, it seemed to be closer and closer to me.

It was quite unusual and got my attention. I've not seen the light again, but have seen other things, including an angel, or at least what I perceived as one. I am a mature adult, a medical professional, and I would have absolutely no reason to lie or joke about this.

bright light over desert in el paso tx 1984 we were in the desert sitting in bleachers listing to our instructor about night fire (shooting at night) a bright white light started moving toward us ithougth it was a helicopter maybe 2 hun ft high it stop moving it made no sound so i thought it was sme secret mil craft oh it was a clear night and a fuul moon the objects light began to glow brighter and brighter until it out shine the moon and was bigger it slowly separated into 4 smaller lights they moved away from each other at the same level and at one point were miles away from each otherthis of coures caused a great comotion but our instructor commanded us to pay attention and he never turned around to see what was happening the 4 smaller ligths came back together and formed the big light and then left in an instant we were all saying what the fu was that anyway the next mourning when i tried to talk to people about the incident i swear no one would acknowlege what we had all seen and responded to the night before also while i am at it that was not the first time when i was 10ys old and had just learned what the colour of stars meant i saw a orange object that looked like a top hat it tilted to the left for moment then in an instant flew away.and there was another time when i was 15 when one night about 9 of me and my friends were lying on our backs on a friends gargage we saw what appreared to be lights playing pin ball with each other in the sky it lasted 30in or more heres the thing next day nobody remembered except me none of did any kind of drugs and i do care if you believe or not that was what i and others saw ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that date of incident is approximate. Triangle object no lights no sound I just saw the ABC speicial and had goosebumps. Approx 1984-85 I was living in Longview,Texas.in town in a residental area.

It was a clear night and I had went outside comming out of the garage into the driveway facing east. I looked up and saw a large Triangle shaped object fly directly overhead at a low altitude (500 -1000 Feet?}. It's flight path was aprox south-west.

There where no lights but I could clearly see the outline of the craft against the night sky. There was no engine noise at all but I could hear the craft push the through the air, almost like a glider. This was no glider.

It was flying under power. I had only told two people this. Then tonight (2-24-05} when the ABC special was comming on I told my 9 year old daughter what happened.

The glowing disc came from the South in the evening sky and silently moved North at a high rate of speed. I was living with my older brother and his family in Flower Mound, Texas, looking for work in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex. It was early evening after we had finished the our evening meal.

I stepped outside in the backyard to smoke a cigarette and sat on a garden chair just off the patio. It was a clear sky; I could easily count the stars. The residential neighborhood was just West of the flight patterns of the DFW airport.

The sky was frequently dotted with planes of all types approaching to land, or nose-up to gain altitude away from the busy airport. The sun had not completely set; objects high in the sky were catching the sun's last rays and were very bright with the illumination. I was looking NNW.

Suddenly from the South a bright round disc silently moved across the sky. Having seen many jets fly in a similar direction, I was quickly aware of how much faster this object was moving.my conclusion was this was not a jet.

Because of the sunlight it appeared to be slightly yellow, but mostly white. I did not write the exact date down anywhere because I knew no one would believe me, later. 1984 is the year, for sure.

I remember it was not yet a typical hot Texas summer.late Spring. I am very surprised to see no record or report from anyone about this sighting.

With so many people in that region of Texas someone else had to have seen it. Because of the similarity to the flight paths to/from DFW and the many passenger jets I had watched while in Flower Mound, this was a very large craft. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

The object came out of the East and traveled along side the car just above the tree tops. Traveling on Roberts Cemetary Rd., near Turtle Creek Subdivision going to Magnolia, TX.

Amber Color Disk above tree tops traveling along side car (No Sound). I could see shadows inside the craft. There were small twinkling lights circling the craft.

The craft spun around with great force and came right above the top of the car then must have gone straight up. Never saw it again. ((NUFORC Note: Date may be approximate, although the witness does not indicate that fact.

strange lightning me and me friend were driving in the country at about 2 am when all of the sudden we both looked outto the left of the car toward asouth east direction and there was a cloud in the sky no more than 30 or 40 feet in the sky with what seemed like dozens of lightning bolts coming down and touching the ground but not burning it at all then we got out of the car andsat on the hood of the car and looked at it for about an hour or so after that i dont remember that much just getting in the car and going home ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the incident is approximate. I have a childhood memory of looking out front window, and seeing a glowing, pink house floating in the sky. When I read the book Communion, I got chills at the mention of 'screen memories'. I have a memory from when I was about eight years old that has bugged me whole life.

It was before bedtime, and for some reason I was looking out the front window. I was wide awake, and I did not have a fever that may cause hallucinations. The way my memory retains it, I saw a large pink house floating in the sky.

It was glowing. I recall passing out or something to that effect. There are other memories, such as seeing a small man in my room at night.

and I remember thinking it was 'E.T.'.

I kept the memories in the back of my mind for years. I have other memories from high school, that inolve me lying in bed and having the strange feeling that the 'pink house' was coming back. I saw a movie called Communion during my freshman year, and was terrified of the image of the being.

This perplexes me, being someone who likes monster movies. I just turned 21, and all of these memories have just started to come together. I recently read the book Communion, and had a strange experience.

When I got to a part about what the author refers to as 'screen memories', a vision of the 'pink house' popped in my head and my entire body went ice cold. I was paralyzed; stunned.
