On this day, my father had came to pick me up n go hunting at a buddy of ours place. Now my dad & I where very close we used to like to smoke herb before we got into the woods to just relax n enjoy things. We where smoking & just turned into our friends old dirt road at about 530 PM when I'd noticed the side n front windows of my dads old truck appeared to be tinted a really dark color.

So I asked him, pops when did you tinted your windows on here ? He might of thought me crazy but he looked at his side window n scuffed the he started staring out n up the front window n said I didnt tint it . So we both kinda was like God damn how good is this weed we're smoking! Anyway we started looking out the front window that was at this time a very very dark purple were looking up at the sky and it's just all lit up these pinkish purple hue colors. Neither of us had a clue at the time wtf was going on .

We where still driving down this old narrow dirt road but rt ! at the tree top level all we could see was this odd colored light. My dad speeds up trying to get out from under whatever it is but that was a no go. So I tell him stop to pull over so he does , we step out of the truck to get a better look n that's when things got weird .

we looked up at the top of the trees now these trees are no more than 30 or 40 feet tall that's how close this thing was . We where in shock bc this thing had no identifiable shape to it & it was about as large as a football field that emitted this pink/purple light all the way around it that seemed to be constantly fluid ( that's what it reminded me of was a fluid movement) but like I said it was huge but made no sound whatsoever anything that big n close moving should make a sound or upset the atmosphere around it but no. While we where standing under it everything seemed kinda distorted or something idk.

But things ( us ) where not moving in a normal frame of ref. I'm guessing we where rt there u! nder this thing for about 30 min watching it but I'm not sure ! . Like I said nothing was normal at the time .

So my dad kinda freaks and jumps back into the truck n we take off to our friends place but this thing was rt over the top of us the entire time . We parked at our buddy's and this thing then proceeded to slowly very slowly creep across this farm field in the adjacent lot . I told you this thing was huge n never made a sound as it moved .

Now my dad &I are still standing out side watching this thing our friend is standing in his front door looking out at us n this thing moving across the field . It was slow when it made it across the field it just sit or hovered there for a few min same as it did to us , then out of the bottom left quadrant of this thing it shots out something toward the ground that looked like a missile to me but it never made a impact or sound when it hit so idk . But then this thing started to move again slowly (now when this thing took off it was gone (poof ) no sound no nothing .

My dad & I where just in a stupor! our friend in his front door was asking us wtf is that thing ? We didnt know what to say what could we say wo sounding crazy af? Anyway my pops refused to even talk about for long time after that even to me & I was with him . I'm only reporting this now bc I'm getting old & wanna get this off my chest my dad & our friend have since passed away and it's just me now . Idk maybe someone out there can relate or have had the same experience maybe it can help them I hope so .

Man standing outside sees what looks like "shooting star." Obj. split into 3 lights, "like isosceles triangle," shot across sky to SE.

Triangular shaped object with 3 lights, passes over house at low altitude and made no sound. After returning home late from a social event my wife and I saw an object pass over our house after I parked the care and we were walking from the car to the house. There were 3 lights that appeared to be at the points of a triangular shaped object.

The size of the object was hard to estimate but it appeared to be very low when it passed over our house whithout making any sound. If the object was at a high altitude then it was gigantic in size, but I would guess it was only about 100 feet over the house and if this guess is correct then it was about half a football field in size. It was a clear night with a lot of stars visable so as this object passed over it blocked out the stars between the 3 points of light at it's 3 corners.

This is why I say the object was triangular in shape. I have never reported this sighting before but I feel it is the same type of object recently seen in Texas. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the incident is approximate.

Man, wife, 2 children, driving down long hill, see bizarre cluster of lights, "like Christmas tree in the sky." Multiple witnesses.

There was a roundish object with glowing, shifting lights lining the edges of the craft as it hovered silently above the trees. I had to guess a bit on the exact date and time of the event, as it was several years ago, and it is something I really don't go around telling alot of people about. I had just left a friend's home, who lived in the small town of Morris.

I always enjoyed riding around and listening to music, and after driving a bit, I headed back towards his home, becuase the road he lived on was, at the time, somewhat secluded, and great for star-gazing(since it was away from city lights). I pulled off the road, rolled down the window, and had the radio softly playing. I was digging around for some cassettes to listen to, and something caught my eye.

It was up to the left, just over the treeline. It seemed quite large, and was moving very slowly. The lights on it were glowing softly, and not flashing in quick succession, as aircraft usually have.

I am a UFO buff, but didn't think that was what it was at first; my guess was it was a helicopter. It was way too slow for a plane. I turned down the radio and listened.

However, I heard nothing. Now, at the time, I was unaware that some UFO sightings were marked by the lack of noise accompanying the craft, so it was a shock to see this thing hovering so low above the treeline, and not hearing a sound. I was totally scared.

It dawned on me that it was not anything recognizable to ordinary citizens. I tried to convince myself that it was a sort of experimental thing maybe, that the military was working on. If so, they were pretty far from any bases.

Then as I sat and watched, I noticed the colors around it seemed to melt into each other, much the way the Mars looks on a good night-- it went from orange to green to red, softly and slowly changing as it moved slowly above the trees, as if it were looking for something. I had determined in my mind that if this thing headed my way, I was going to speed up the street to my friends house, who was only about a 1/4 mile away. My heart was pounding.

It was hard to really make out the exact shape, but it seemed roundish, with lights all around the base. As I said, time and secrecy has dimmed my memory a bit. Though I know if I saw it again, I would KNOW what it was!(And I have, but that is going ahead of myself.

) Then it did what I hoped it wouldn't-- it stopped in mid-air. I froze. My hand was on the key getting ready to crank the car and take off.

I watched it as it began slowly rotating in a circle. Then after a few rotations, it began moving off behind the trees, back towards town. Since it only seemed to be about 2 miles away, I decided to chase it.

I was scared, but I hoped to find someone who mihg tbe stopped on the road who also saw it. I sped off in the direction it went, but the whole way back to town, I never passed a single car! Typical. It was a long time before I told anyone, except my friend, and I swore him to secrecy.

He said he believed me because he could tell by the sincerity and seriousness in my voice that I was not playing around. As a sidenote: a year or two later, NBC ran a UFO special one night, and they showed a re-enactment of some policemen in a small town who had seen three UFOs. They described what they saw, and in the video re-enactment the UFOs looked exactly like what I saw that night! My mouth hit the floor, and my heart raced as I was suddenly taken back to that night.

It was a Wednesday night, and my wife wasn't home(she had gone to church). So it was frustrating once again not to have something tangible to show someone that would help validate my experience. I keep hoping to see that special again, or that maybe I will find photos resembling what I saw, but I have yet to come even close.

MUFON/ISUR Investigation-Glowing Orb Chases Church Van Background This investigation was conducted jointly by MUFON of Georgia and ISUR (International Society for UFO Research) beginning on 15May97. This event actually occurred on an UNKNOWN DATE in 1995, but believed to be in cooler weather, perhaps the autumn, as it was getting dark about 1900 hours. At the time of the investigation, this writer was serving as Chief Field Investigator for MUFON of Georgia and as an investigator for ISUR.

John Thompson of Lagrange Georgia was State Director for MUFON at that time and also on the ISUR Board. The multiple witnesses were all Georgia residents of that area, and attended the same church. The occasion leading to the event was a church trip to Anniston Alabama by this small group of church ladies.

They were being driven in a large van by a male member of the congregation who was a prominent local businessman, and also known as a trusted community leader in that African-American neighborhood. Accounts vary, but there may have been 10+ total witnesses on this trip, this investigator interviewing 6 of them. This harrowing account was held confidential by these witnesses for about 2 years, only being discussed among their small group of friends.

Eventually, the information was related to John Thompson in his Lagrange office, and he asked this writer to follow up on it. Investigation 15May97, this FI began by interviewing the Primary Witness (PW) at her home in Lagrange. She was found to be a 62 YOA retired Nurses Assistant.

She lived in a well kept home in an older, established neighborhood, with many family photos and signs of serious religious faith being obvious. PW stated that on the night in question, she and her church friends were riding up to nearby Anniston Alabama to play bingo. They were seated to the rear of their friend, the van driver, and as usual talking and having a nice ride, enjoying the nice clear weather.

(Note.the driving route was determined as follows; west out of Lagrange and across the adjacent state line into Alabama, then turning north on Alabama Hwy 431 which carries them to I-20 which is about 35-40 miles distant to the north. Anniston is near the intersection of Alabama Hwy 431 and I-20).

As the van approached the vicinity of Wedowee Alabama on Hwy 431, the witnesses decided to roll up all of the windows because of the poultry plant located just off the highway (Braswell's Farms). PW indicated that the odor of the production there was pretty strong, and this was something they normally did enroute to Anniston. As the van approached and passed the plant, PW and some others noticed what they thought was a large new light over the top of the building (which is located on a rise).

It was large enough that they commented on it being newly installed. One witness stated that it WAS NOT a light, but some "FLYING THING". Another witness commenting that no, it was just a new light.

Then the other witness replying something to effect of "Well if that's so, HERE IT COMES"! The light flew down from over the plant and approached the moving van and then began to pace it as it drove north. The light was described as being round like a globe, about the size of a "dishpan" in diameter (bigger than a basketball). The light was described as being "yellowish", with the brightness of a lightbulb or street light.

It continued to pace the van, with descriptions of the light varying it's distance and altitude to as low as about 12 feet and then back up to 100 feet or treetop level; as close (and closer) as appx. 50 feet and backing away to perhaps 75 yards.sometimes over the van, sometimes beside it, but always pacing it.

This episode began near Wedowee on Hwy 431 which, at this point in the route, is about 25 miles south of I-20 and the Anniston vicinity, their destination. During this wild ride, the ladies became FRIGHTENED, trying to get down below the window level and still taking an occasional peek. The driver stated that he was trying to drive and look at the same time which he found difficult.

He verified that the light appeared to be about 100 feet over the poultry plant before it swooped down and began following them. He added that eventually he DID IN FACT think about some form of UFO due to having read such accounts. Adding that it was definitely a large globe of light.

During this ride up to I-20, the PW at one time saw what she described as a shape within the light, a shape very similar to a "human embryo", which she indicated in her sketch. Further that it seemed to be "moving around" within the light. At another point, she recalled something like a beam projecting out that hurt her eyes, and those of her friend.

Adding that they both later developed watery and sore eyes. Another witness did not describe a beam, but told of a "sparkling effect. Another witness described a "bad glare" that beamed through the window.

just suddenly clicking on. This activity continued as the van moved northwards closer to I-20, passing through the small Alabama "hill country". At one point, the vehicle drove through an underpass, finding the globe of light waiting on the other side.

This light also demostrated terrain avoidance maneuvers and continuously adjusted it's speed to that of the van. As this group finally reached the area of the intersection of Hwy 431 and I-20, the light flew off over a field, then accelerated steeply upwards, leaving a streak, then became the size of a star and vanished. A hoax was ruled out in this matter due to the sincerity of these witnesses and their strong church background.

Considered was glowing plasma/spook light, helicopter, and advanced military recon drone. These were ruled out.this writer does not believe ANY kind of natural "plasma/spook light" would act as described.

over so many miles. Even though it was during darkness, the van was approached SO CLOSELY that a helicopter or drone fuselage would have been observed, as well as engine noise heard. A spokesman for the mainly rural Randolph County Sheriff's Department recalled no similar reports from that time period and knew of nothing that might be related to this event.

During this investigation, there were only the normal differences noticed from witness to witness, due to their personal interpretation and recall, seating position within the van, and level of fright. This writer classified the event as a SIGNIFICANT UNKNOWN. This FI also believes that there may have been more evidence in the offing if there had been a timely report of this event.

It traveled so quickly.like turning a light switch on to off. My son and I saw the same thing (or it sounds like the same thing) that this lady reported on 10 May 1997 from Gadsden, Alabama.

(Actually, it was Southside, al) My son discribed it best: "It was a very bright white object, circular in shape and moved rapidly, like turning a light switch on and off.that quickly.it went from point "A" to point "B".

Woman w/ children & neighbor see dark obj. fly overhead, go through roof of townhouse, Flashing lights in house next day F-16's. I was in the front yard with children and two neighbors and their children (all children under 3 yrs old).

We we sitting in our chairs and looked up and saw a disk shaped shadow that descended from the sky and appeared to penetrate into the second floor of my town home the room where my children sleep. We all freaked out a little bit, and joked that it looked like UFO. The next morning, a little after 8 am.

I had just came down stairs. My two and a half year old son. was already down stairs and the phone rang.

My neighbor called to see what time to meet outside with the kids to play. And I saw my 1 yr old coming down the stairs so, I hung up and grabbed him. I walk with him in my arm into my kitchen.

And all the sudden, I saw white flashing lights. I looked out front and the back windows and there was nothing outside. That's when I realized it was coming from inside my townhouse.

And the light was emanating white beams that began to speed up violently. Then it got faster and faster and faster and my chandelier was shaking and then it was gone. That episode lasted approx.

45 seconds. The light was not as bright as it was White the Whiteness of it was striking to me. I grabbed both children and ran next door to my neighbor (who witnessed the prior night disk in the sky).

I called the Mobile Police Dept from her townhouse the was next to me. And spoke to someone to took down my story and assured me that my story was important and to call the National UFO Reporting Center and gave me the phone number. I went was in yard on the cordless phone.

to call my husband, when I witnessed at least two F-16 fly over my town house. they flew back and forth a few time (probably two times). I called the National UFO Reporting Center and submitted a written account of the entire 11 hours span.

Then a few days after, my two and a half year old son, began talking about "diamond girl" (as her referred to what he s! aw). He said Mommy. diamond girl came to visit in my room.

Every day. for he talked about it. He is grown now and 26 yrs old.

But remember very clearly. He describes what was in his room as a "Glowing Figure" standing in his room next to his brothers crib.
