Light, orb sighting in middle Alabama, 2002 Growing up I wanted more than anything to be an amatuer astronomer, at 12 I started to nightwatch and would do so on my back porch for atleast and hour every night during winter months. On one of the coldest nights of December in 2002 I witnissed a light which looked like a star I had missed at first but I noticed it was slowly moving beyond the trees so I kept an eye on it to see if it was an aircraft becuase I enjoyed watching planes as well. It was bigger and more pronounced than the stars around it and suddenly darted north, southwest, then southeast beyond the trees.

I was quite scared went inside and never mentioned it again until a year later. I had drawn a picture immediatly afterward but it has went missing since. I don't think I will ever forget that night.

High speed rotating lights flas across the sky. Many flashes of light were seen in the vacinity of the sighting previous to appearance. once the object appeared it moved in an irregular pattern up and down with rotating lights.

the actual craft was not visible but the lights were seen easily. It was moving at an incredible rate of speed. it was lost behind a row of trees and never reappeared.

Light over the horizon dropping suddenly to no where We were driving down Hughes Rd. when I saw a huge light hovering over the horizon for a good five seconds in the sky. We thought it was a stop light, but it dropped suddenly so we knew it was something else.

Then we realized it was a UFO. We stopped the car to get out and look around, but nothing seemed diferent. It was as if nothing had happened and we were the only witnesses.

Alabama Delta Winged Craft with no sound At Aproximatly 20:10 on 11/08/2002, saw delta winged craft approx. 65' in width with white lights 8 on each wing, i in center for a total of 17 lights, no green or red lights, approx speed of between 200-500 mph. Vehicle made no sound, flew from west to east over Mississippi, Alabama, Heading towards Florida.

Called Local Airport, they reported nothing out of the ordinary.

2Chevron shapes in formation moving at great speed glowing red/orange at very high altitude. Was standing on the flightline watching the sky for shooting stars. Clear and cool, the stars were out in force.

Directly overhead I spotted what looked like 2 chevron shaped objects glowing faintly re/orange.They moved from northwest to southeast at astonishing speed. They were visable for approximatly 3 seconds before they disappeared.

They moved at the speed of a shooting star and appeared to be at very high altitude. The objects were in a echelon right formation. First time I ever seen something in the sky I could not identify.

I was listening to a recording on a tape I had recorded a while back you were talking about a air craft that had crashed and could not figure out why only that red marks on the nose of the air craft and it might have been a drone hit it at the same time the air craft went down I and my other half was driving at the end of the road near the water front we found a drone red in color with a dent in the nose and the paint scraped off it had us navy on it I was going to bring the drone home with us but other half said it was to big to fit in the car we left it on the beach this happened while I lived in orange beach I hope this might solve a crash at mobile air port. Two comet-like objects passed in front of us, but each in two different directions (horizontally & ascending) within seconds apart. My husband and I are avid campers and we camp quite a bit in a nearby town called Guntersville at a campground called Honeycomb Campground. We were situated in our boat just above the Guntersville Dam on the Tennessee River.

My husband and I have both witnessed some unidentified objects in the sky and on the ground before, but we never really talk about them much until this weekend when something strange happened to us. We were out at about 23:00 pm doing some catfishing. We witnessed an object that appeared to be round fly across the sky just about 200 yards above some treetops.

It appeared to be comet-like in appearance but the trail it left behind did not fan out like most comets do. By no means am I an expert, but I am quite sure this was not a comet. It went horizontally straight across the sky above the treetops.

It appeared out of nowhere and continued for a long distance across the sky to only disappear in thin air. It has an orange "trail-like" glow behind it, but the circular part up front did not appear to have any glow around it, it was just in front of this trail. It was faster than any jet that we know of.

My hubby is an Army brat so he has seen a few up close up and personal. There was NO sound whatsoever. Okay, we were trying to convince ourselves that it must be a comet.

however, it never descended toward Earth. Then about 15 seconds later, ANOTHER one, but only this one came from below at the edge of the treetops and ascended into the sky. It had a blue flame and it was almost on top of our heads when it appeared.

It had a shorter trip than the first one, but it was just as spectacular. I have never seen a shooting star ascended from that far down into the sky and that quickly to boot. I didn't think a comet could do that either.

Had we only seen the first one, we would have wrote the event off as being maybe a meteroid but the mystery was it remained completely horizontal across the sky to disappear as quickly as it appeared. I would have thought had it been a co! met, we would have seen it coming from the distance and approach and then pass by. The altitude at which this occurred seemed to be odd for a jet, but a jet cannot fly this fast.

Triangular shap goes through the eye of a storm On Fri. the 2nd on august my wife and I decided to sit out on the back porch and watch the electrical storm that had moved in all around us. It was only lightnig but we thought it was like having our own free fire works display.

We could still see the stars above us but the lightning storm was all around our city with just this clear spot in the middle. After watching the storm for a while we both noticed what looked like a car with its high beams in the sky off to the north east. It moved our way slowly and made no noise until it was right above us.

It was a triangle shaped object with two bright lights on the front. It also had three white lights in a cirlce on the underneath with one red light in the center. It was about 45 to 50 feet off the ground and travelling very slow.

There was no sound until it was right above us. It headed in a southwest direction at a slow pace (too slow for an airplane). I used to be in the army and I know the sounds of both airplanes and helicopters and the hum from this craft was not the same.

As soon as it went back into the storm clouds two strange things happened. The wind, which was not blowing before pick up and started blowing at a high rate and within a minute after it disappeared the storm just stopped. when it passed right over my wife and I we both made out it's shape becuase the lights on the bottom lit up it' outline and the sky was clear right above our heads.

Encounter of the first kind with video and photographs to back up account. I was traveling back home from dinner at some friend's house when I notice what I thought at first to be part of the moon obscured by clouds in the western sky. Then I started looking around and noticed that it was a starlit cloudless night.

Well then I surmised that may be because it was low in the sky that it was the moon partially hidden by a hill in the distance. That was when I begin looking around to make sure it was even the moon. I glanced over my left shoulder and saw the moon.

So then I got excited and went home (approx. a mile away) and got my video camera. I went to the parking lot of this church I attend because it was on a hill with a much better view, in my rush however, I did not get my tripod, but I did manage to get the object on video and took still pictures from the video.

The sighting lasted about a minute or two before the object disappeared like someone turning off the light. I have never seen anything like it and would like some rational input on the subject. I have read books on UFO's and seen more than my share of documentaries but I have never seen one let alone videotape it.

((FOLLOW-UP COMMUNICATION FROM WITNESS)) unfortunatly Mr. Davenport, it turned out to be nothing more than an advertising blimp for a local car dealership. It would make for a very humourous story though.

A point of light starting moving very fast then vanished. I saw the same thing a few minutes later. I was out with the dog looking at the stars when I noticed a point of light looking just like a star moving very fast almost directly above.

No trail, sound, blinking lights, just a point of light. I thought it was a satellite or the space station and went inside to tell the wife to hurry outside. I then went back outside looking for it but did not see anything.

I knew it was moving so fast it would already be past the trees. Then from the same point in the sky I saw a point of light take off in the same direction. This time I watched it till is vanished overhead.

It got very dim and disappeared. From my experience it was nothing like a meteor. I did not think it was strange at the first time, but when I went back outside and saw the same thing again that was weird.

I just wished I had watched it the first time to see if it slowly disappeared.

bright light hoovering over trees and then shot down to ground behind trees. My daughter and I was lying out side on a cot and was looking in the sky when i saw a bright looking light like a headlight up over some trees it moved across the tree tops for about 10 seconds and descended at a angel toward the ground DIAPPERED. tHIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME THIS STUFF HAS AHPPENED.

walked outside and noticed extreme white light in distance.not overhead. Called neighbor and he took binoculars which my grandson had to view.

Both of them saw green, red, blue and yellow colors around the circle. This light appears to move slighty side to side. It has been observed for approximately 1 hr.

There are stars out tonight but none appear like this object. They have viewed other stars and none have different coloring as this does and none move. We aren't sure what we are seeing and wanted to at least let someone know.

At 9:40 observed light as like lightening strikes and just saw an aircraft fly near object.

A stationary light no different in appearance then a star started to move in a straight line south at a high rate of speed and then dissapeared. I only looked up in the sky because I had seen three of these on the 3rd of this month, a few nights ago, all traveling northbound and also dissapearing in the same manner. I know the difference between what I'm seeing out here, and a shooting star or meteor.

These lights are clearly objects that are very far away and moving more slowly then shooting stars and they are barely perceptable, where a shooting star is very bright. the objects move quickly though for the distance that they appear up in space.An aircraft that is only a few miles up from earth travels fast across the sky but airplanes that are higher up would not move as fast as the unidentified objects I have observed.

There is a military base in Pensacola of course but airplanes have flashing lights and this light does not blink. Also, these objects appear to be much higher up in the sky then any aircraft I've seen. ((NUFORC Note: This was the date that the gentleman, billed as "The Amazing Kreskin," predicted a dramatic UFO sighting would occur over Nevada.

On June 07, 2002, he retracted, and stated that the "prediction" had been a hoax, designed to show how gullible human beings can be regarding the UFO phenomenon. PD)).

At 8:40 pm a ball of light appeared for about 8 seconds over the trees in the pasture and then took off at a high speed into the sky. It was dark and 8:40 pm as I sat out on my back deck in Union Grove, Alabama looking out North East across the country side when over the trees about 300 yards out and at maybe twice the trees high, appeared a white glowing ball shaped object. The frogs down by the pond stopped croaking which was very strange.

It was about the size of a golf ball held at arms length. It was moving slowly to the South West. After about 8 seconds it disappeared only to reappear to my far right (SW) a second later.

Then it took off straight up into the sky at a high rate of speed. After a few minutes some kind of aircraft with unidentifiable lights were seen in the same place this ball of light had appeared and heading on the same path the object went. No sound was heard.

A triangular craft 200ft high and 500 foot from my position.hovering Decided to take a ride through the country last night.I live in a rual location in north Baldwin county and trees in my yard limit my view of the sky.

I had been out in the yard with nothing seen but the usual commerical/private traffic. At around 21:45 I got in my car and proceeded to take a ride. Went south down co.

rd. 47 (Rabun Rd.)and turned right onto co.

rd. 96 traveling west. At the end of co.

rd. 96 I took a left on hwy 59 and proceeded south several miles to co. rd.

94 (may tower rd.)where I turned left. Now I'm heading back east torward county rd 47.

After traveling a short distance down 94 i noticed a car back behind me and thought to myself "thats all i need , a car riding my butt" . About 2 miles down 94 there is a curve to the right. As I rounded the curve there the damn thing was.

just sitting there.right in front of me .in a hover.

A triangluar craft about 200 ft are less off the ground and about 500 feet from my position. It had a white light in the bottom at each apex and no strobes could be seen. I was traveling at a slow speed (aprox 35 to 40 mph) and at this time the car behind me had caught up (about 200 yds max behind me).

About 200 yds up on the left is a drive which leads to a friends house so pulled into the drive and stopped to allow the car behind to go by. Durning this i'm still looking at this craft sitting in a hover. AS the car behind me passes by i backed out into the road.

The front of my car is now facing the object ( now I'm facing west again). This quick turn around must have alerted the craft to the fact that I had seen it because at this point it starts moving off to the SW. I gave chase hoping it would stop again but it proceeded to gain speed until it was out of sight.

The craft clearly was triangular in shape and made no noise. I will send a detailed map via e-mail shortly. Also as stated above I turned around in a drive which leads to a friends house.

This thing had to pass right over his house prior to me seeing it. I will call him this afternoon whe! n he get s in from work to see if he may have seen it. Also at this time let me state when turning around in the drive i noticed a car coming down the drive as coming from my friends house.

But at this point I was giving chase so did not stay to see who it was. I would estimate the craft to be 50 to 70 ft from point to point. The color appeared to be black.

A disk was hovering then disappeared then re-appeared then there was a flash and it disappeared again. There was a disk hovering about 20,000 feet in the air. It was not moving forward or backwards, just hovering.

It started to move a bit but then zoomed away and disappeared, I stood in the same place for a couple of minutes hoping to see it again and sure enough I did, but this time for about 5 seconds it was hovering and then suddenly there was a flash where the disk was and then after the flash it wasn't there.

Batton shaped object observed in Marion Co. Alabama changing direction in flight. Me and my Brother, whom wish to remain anonomous, were fishing in Marion Co.

Al. I was looking up at a small cesna which had flown over several times when my brother said what is that. I replied just a plane.

He responded "No That!" Looking directly above us We saw a batton shaped object flipping end over end out of control. It looked like two spheres attached to a long cylinder. It was high altitude but appeared to be slightly larger than a jet linner.

It was moving west to east. My first impression was that it was some sort of satelite or space junk falling back to earth. But then it stopped in mid stream, still flipping, and made a hard 90 degree turn to the south and vanished out of view.

dark triangular object at 200 ft. moving up creek bed to police HQ in Mobile AL. sirs, i was walking home from the store and i looked up.

i was at a part of town known as "the loop area." what i saw was what i first thought was a large trianglular bag floating about 200 feet high and said to my self, "thats not right? it's to high and large." it was overcast and windy and then i looked at the flight path and direction and thought it is flying up Eslava creek to the police head quarters on hiway 90.

the flight of the object was topsy turvey and smooth for such a windy day. the object was gone into thin air, i mean it vanished as if one would snap thier fingers, poof, after 30 seconds that i witnessed.
