ufo over mountians, two men went missing IN Nov on 1972 my mom, was home with my two older sisters and older brother. I can't recall what city she lived in.But she heard her dogs start barking then started jumping on the fence towards the north.
It was about 12pm .She got up went out side to see what they was barking at. she looked around and saw a light above the the woods behind her house.
it then dropped behind the mountians. she didnt think much of it.So she went back in side the dogs still barked for almost 30 mins after.
a few days later she went in to town, and found out two campers went missing on the mountian she saw the light go behind. She told some people what she saw. but they didnt think it had anything to do with it.
about week later around midnight the dogs started barking again trying to jump the fence again, towards the mountian. This time she stayed inside and looked for the light again. She saw the light again dropping behind the mountian.
she stayed at the widow to see if she could see the come up again. about 20 mins later the light came up ,and took off towards the west. the next day my dad came home from work.
he hauled stuff for a living. she told him what he saw and about the men missing. And how she thought it was a ufo.
He laughed at her.But a few days later they went into town and read in the paper the men was found at their camp, with some kind of gliter stuff on their colths.and didnt know where they have been.
((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. We have requested that the witness attempt to locate a copy of the news article about the missing campers. PD)).

Fighter jet chasing object in the sky over south Alabama. A friend and myself 34 years ago were traveling down a dirt road on our way to hunt in some local timberland areas. We are from a small town in southwest Alabama.
As we travelled down the road we were talking and shooting the breeze like most teenagers would be doing. I don't remember which one of us first noticed the object, but, we observed a shinny object streaking across the sky. We took the time to decide if it was a plane with the sun reflecting off it or not.
We came to the quick conclusion that it was simply a cigar shaped object moving at a very rapid pace across the clear blue sky. We of course, could not determine the speed or size of the object , however it was quickly making its way out of our view. Stunned at what we saw, we both decided it must have been a jet of some kind flying extremely lower then we antiscipated and fast, until we noticed a fighter jet on the same plane and general area of flight pattern as the first object.
It appeared to be chasing or mirroring the objects movements but obviously not moving as fast as the object had been moving. But it was evident that they were not the same size and the sun was not reflecting off the jet, so the first object must have been different. Whether or not we were witnesses to a ufo or not, it is a memory that will never leave me.
I would like to believe it was. It has been a thought of mine for all my life, that we would be a very arrogant planet of people to think in all the universe, that we were the smartest or even alone in the vastness of space. Who are we to think God didn't experiment with many planets with many Adams and Eves.
And if on one of those other planets, Eve didn't eat the apple, wouldn't that society of people, all of like thinking without hate, judgement, and malice, all come together thousands of years ago to learn, invent, and explore the universe quicker than the way our society of warlords and human haters have done it? Wouldn't and couldn't they have come a long way further in a shorter period of time than we did because we were greedy and self absorbed in ourselves rather then working together for the common good? Our world is too busy tending to each others business and building technology to destroy each other, rather than building a united world toward the betterment of mankind. They would be so far more advanced then we will ever make it. I personally believe all this is very possible.
If we developed in a world of togetherness, just what could we have invented or produced to this point? Anyone who says we are alone in the universe, is a fool. As much as anyone who says there is no God is one. Athiest are the dumbest people around.
Smart wisdom would say that you should believe in God and the afterlife and other life. After all, the atheist has nothing to live for after they die, but if they are wrong, they will be sorry. Smart money says take the Christian way , just in case, we are right , and you are wrong.
You have nothing to lose doing it the Chirstian way, because your way just ends either way. Why take the chance? The same way of believing in ufo's. If we don't believe as a society, then we lose the wonder of it.
If they do exist, then we have much to learn about how we treat each other. If they do exist, then hopefully someone will prove it one day, and our world of greedy selfabsorbed people, might, just might, grow the hell up and work together. Enough said.
Tell me what you think. ((e-address deleted)).

seen in 1972 and seen later too dark for about 20 30 minutes me and my cousin were catching fire flies and thought that what we were seeing coming at us was a low flying plane. It had flashing orange lights on the nose and both wing tips was huge with a wing span of at least 600 feet and was traveling east to west at an altitude of about 500 It was toward the end of August in 1972 in coldwater Alabama at about 8 o’clock at night it had been to 750 feet and moving at about 40 to 60 miles an hour and had no visible system of propulsion. The craft moved in total silence and was triangle shaped but indented in the rear making it resemble the wing of a fighter jet with no body in thickness and configuration it passed directly over us without a sound and kept going in the direction of Birmingham it was seen 1 time before and several times since but never checked out I do not no if it has been seen recently or not, ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.

UFOs observed by WWII veteran and multiple Army and National Guard members. It was fairly well-known at this time and in this area, that on many nights one could go outdoors and watch UFOs move in a variety of formations. The "light" of each craft would vary from nearly invisible to extremely bright.
The objects were obviously many miles away, most estimates are that the objects had to have been in Huntsville and very likely above the Redstone Arsenal. Entire families and friends would gather on the back porch to watch the UFOs move in wildly varying "formations" if that term fits. They would move up and down, circle one another, zoom back and forth, and generally each sighting event ended with the lights either disappearing or zooming directly up and out of the atmosphere.
The individuals who observed the UFOs varied from a preacher, to housewives, to a retired WWII-Korea-Vietnam combat veteran (101st Airborne, winner of the Silver Star, etc.), and several then-enlisted Army and National Guard members. These individuals were all very serious people who did not care for watching science fiction films, reading about UFOs, or even speculating about life on other planets.
These individuals would all be willing to testify under oath that what they observed were NOT airplanes nor any other form of then-known/conventional aircraft. 3 lights, light speed, no sound, 90 degree turn Date was sometime in the early 70s. The "Guess Who" band was playing at Milton Frank stadium in Huntsville,AL. I was about 2 miles from stadium, standing outside listening to the music.
An object appeared coming toward me from the west at a level of about 3 telephone poles. It stopped directly over my head. The form was muted from city lights.
It flashed in sequence 3 different colored lights (can't remember colors) forming a triangle. It then proceeded 90 degrees from where it had came at light speed. It never made a sound! I have tried to pinpoint the date, one would think it easy to find out when the concert took place.
If you are interested and can find out when it was, please let me know. I told people that after stopping and flashing the lights on me, that they found no intelligent life and proceeded on! ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that date of sighting is approximate. PD)).
