Driving east just before dawn the sky was cloudless. Suddenly a cloud appeared very dence about the size of a football field. it was at 11 o:clock to my position range was about 5 mile.

I thought how strange only one small cloud in all this sky. As i drove i watched it evaporate, disapere. A few moments passed and suddenly it was back.

It was now about 10 o:clock to my position and again it evaporated. It's position seemned to remain the same. Then it reapeared a third time very dense at first and now at 9 o:clock and only a half mile away.

The temperature was about 29F. dry cold air no jet condedsate trails. Could a hot moist enviroment ben generated as a dementional or time craft or crafts stopped for a few seconds to get a bearing on where they were at ? I am making no clame.

It's just something to think about.

Bright orange sphere in southwest quadrant of sky which appeared to be at an altitude of approximately 40,000 feet close to Atlanta/Birmingham commercial traffic zone. On that evening I was outside observing the stars on this clear night when I noticed in the southwest quadrant of the sky a bright orange object (about the size of Venus) moving in an up and down motion maintaining it's vertical alignment. I rushed inside and told my family, got 2 pairs of binoculars and my family and I went out to observe.

At that point the object was moving up/down and side to side for a distance of approximately 1-2 miles at each movement. My wife, son and daughter witnessed this with amazement for a period of about 10 minutes. Commercial traffic could be seen passing in close proximity of this object, however the object made no effort to "track" with the plane.

I could clearly see that this object was moving by triangulating it with nearby stars in it's proximity. The object became stationary and was observed for approximately 30 more minutes noticably not maintaining horizontal alignment with nearby stars verifying it wasn't a star decending on horizon. The object seemed to pulse orange to white at higher intensities from time to time at intervals of approximately 5-10 seconds.

Then suddenly the object disappeared as if to "wink out". The following night I located the same cellestial bodies for verification of the objects location and indeed the object was not there!.

Observing stars and saw a shooting star and a moment latter I saw a fast blinking light that zig-zagged going N NW faster than aircraft at a very far off distance. I followed it across the entire horizon. Being a stargazer, I know this was meteor or aircraft this was very fast and advanced.

Commmercial pilot driving East on I-20, notice object out left window, object is small, bright pulsing white, headed toward ground at about 25 degree angle, high velocity, passes out of view behind trees, no crash. I have driven well in excess of a million miles, have over 4,000 hours flight time and had never seen an object which I could not explain until I saw this one. This unidentified airborn object had no tail of debris such as that of a meteor.

It was a bluish white like the light of a xenon strobe. It did not flash, rather it pulsed off like a strobe pulses on. It looked like a "plasma sphere".

I have no way to perceive it's distance nor it's size. It was in excess of 2,000 feet away, as it passed behind trees which were at least that far away. Interestingly, I mentioned this to two other people an hour or so later, and one of them had seen what he described as the same type thing seen at the same time I saw it, yet he was 25 miles East of my location.

For all I know we could have been the same object at some distance, since he and I both saw it in the NNE.

Unknown Triangular craft near Huntsville I was traveling home, which is in Scottsboro from Huntsville, after a night meeting. I saw three triangular craft. The craft were flying low and crossed the road in front of me.

They were low too not more than 50 feet above the tree tops. I thought they were helecopters until I was right on them. I pulled over for a minute to watch.

They did'nt make a sound. They appeared to be black but it was dark. This is not the only time I saw the crafts eithier.

I saw them two other times near the same place. The Huntsville area in North Alabama is home to Redstone Arsenal, which is the home of the US Army Missle Command and Marshall Space Flight Center NASA. Maybe the craft I saw belong to the Army or NASA.

I really don't know.

Twin spheres of light Porter Road near Shady Grove, Adamsville, AL I had left my brother’s house but wasn’t ready to go straight home, so I decided to take a ride before going home. I went through the Shady Grove area and turned onto Porter Road. I had probably gone about a mile or so when I saw what appeared to be bright car headlights on a hill in the distance.

As I kept moving down the road in that direction the pair of lights starting rising straight up from the ground into the sky. I stopped the car trying to figure out what it was. The lights stayed together until they were about airplane height then burst apart in opposite directions moving faster than anything I’d ever seen.

I turned around in the middle of the road and went home with the hair on the back of my neck standing up. Felt like I was being watched for several days after. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.

Large black triangular ship seen near Enterprise, Alabama. I was traveling in my semi, east on highway 82 about 10 miles outside Enterprise, Alabama. It was dark that night, but we had a clear sky.

I could tell i had very large fields on both sides and up ahead i could see a tree line about a mile ahead. All of a sudden i saw bright lights moving through the trees and thought it was a car, but when the lights went upward i knew it wasn't. As the lights came above the trees, i saw a faint out line and for a moment thought it was a huge airplane, but when i got close i saw it was a huge triangular ship hovering slowly above the trees about 100 feet.

The ship was black and as big as a football stadium. My Heart leaped in my throat when i saw it and i edged over to the side of the highway to watch it. There were no other vehicles around so i turned off my truck to see if i could hear anything and it was deathly quiet.

Absolutely no noise. Then one of it's bright lights, which were in each corner of the ship, rotated downward and was spotlighting the field as it passed over the trees and then above the field. It traveled very slow in a southward direction and finally slowly disappeared over the horizon.

I started my truck back up and proceeded to head on towards Enterprise. On my way i met a few other truckers and asked them over the CB if they had seen any strange lights, but to my surprise not one person had seen anything. A string of what appeared to be about a dozen streetlights, but obviously were NOT. (Mobile, AL) I was driving south down Rangeline Rd. about 20 minutes before sunrise, while the sky was still dark.

As I was approaching the intersection at Hamilton Blvd., I had the window rolled down, enjoying the wind and casually gazing out at the landscape (due south, in the direction of Dauphin Island Parkway) as I was still about three blocks before the traffic light. It was as if they were purposely camouflaged as street lights, because I didn't even notice them at first.

But then the last one at the end of the line, down closest to the intersection, appeared to be glowing about three times brighter than the others. As I focused directly on them at that point, I realized there weren't even any light poles along the road (it's a rural area), and these lights were actually a quarter to a half mile away. There was traffic both in front of and behind me, so I had to watch the road as I approached the intersection, and unfortunately, the traffic signal was green when I came to it, so I couldn't stop and stare.

But I took one last lengthy gaze at that brightest one as I was rounding the street corner. There was a small clearing through the trees, and I got an excellent, last-second look at it as it had grown so intensely bright that it actually looked like a little sun in the distance. It had short rays of light shining from it it was so bright, with two prominent rays at each side, in the three o'clock and nine o'clock positions (edges of a disc?) Just as the trees were about to block my view, with amazingly synchronized timing, it suddenly faded to black, like a bright yard light going out.

Unlike most people who get excited when they only THINK they've seen a UFO, my initial reaction to this was denial, and I'm an open-minded person. Yet, it bothered me all day long at work that day, and then when I got off work at 2:30 PM, I looked out there in broad daylight, searching the skyline for any evidence of any kind of structure these lights would have been attached to, and there was nothing but trees. So I decided that, if they were anything that was supposed to be there, then they would be there again on the following morning.

They were never there again. Except for that intensely glowing one at the end of the string, they all appeared about the size and color (yellowish) of streetlights, and they were the appropriate height and spaced apart like streetlights would be, so that nobody would have ever noticed unless they were paying as much attention as I was. Another weird anomaly: when I got home that evening, I decided to do a web search and see if there were any UFO reports of craft similar to what I saw.

Not even really expecting to find anything, I learned for the first time about Bob Lazar and his alleged back-engineering work at the secret base called S4, near Area 51. The site I found that evening is boblazar.com, and in the tape-transcripts section, I saw where Lazar says they "glow" at night, with the "sodium yellow color" of "streetlights.

" He explains that they can actually warp space and disappear, so as you can imagine, I was even more stunned as I read this than I was when I first saw it in the sky for real that morning. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

disk shaped craft with sequential lights at approx, 100' altitude crossing fields then hiway I was traveling. I was traveling north on Hwy. 27 in Baldwin County, Al on my way in to work on the graveyard shift.

I had just passed the Texaco Station on my left and as I made it through the intersection I could clearly see a craft of some sort at what I would guess would be a distance of about 1/2 mile. From that distance it appeared to maintain it's altitude and I continued driving toward it not wanting to believe my eyes. As I closed on the craft I realized that although at first it appeared to be approaching from a direct right angle ( from the east to west) it actually crossed the Hwy heading in what appeared to be a southwest direction using the hiway as true north.

In reality I was actually beginning to slow my vehicle as I approached the craft. I remembered looking in my rearview mirror to see if any other cars were behind me and witnessing the same. But I only at best remember possibly seeing other headlights ( of other vehicles).

My attention was strictly focused on the large craft that was now beginning to cross the hiway at what appeared to be an altitude of about 100-140 feet. It appeared to be disk shaped from the side view but as it passed over the road I could detect a V-design to the rear. At first sighting, what was so obvious were the sequential lights that appeared to be flashing aroung the edge of the the disk.

What seemed odd were the almost sci-fi quality to the movement of lights and the colors. Seemed like yellow, green, red. Can't fully recall exactly.

As it passed over the road I could tell by the outline of sequential lights looking from a rear angle that there was a V-design of sorts. By now (the time that the craft passed over the road) I had stopped my vehicle and pulled over on the narrow shoulder of the road and had the window down, with my head out the window in awe of what I was witnessing. I remember briefly looking back again for other vehicles but my attention was quickly returned.

As I watched, it continued across the road and over a stretch of tall pines. I don't remember ever! hearing any sounds like conventional aircraft would be making at that altitude and no more than 300-500 feet away from me. I had a camera in my backpack but I could not reach it so I noticed a driveway about 1/8 mile north of my position whereby I could turn around and retrieve my camera so as it disappeared over the tree tops, I sped up to the driveway and got my camera only to be obscured from view by the tall pines.

It obviously did not alter course and I lost sight due to trees. But it passed within 500 feet of a residence in this farmland, tyoe open setting. The night was clear and so was my mind as I was rested and heading in to work.

No drugs, booze. Sober as a judge. The craft I approximate was about 80 to 100 feet across the beam and about the same length wise.

This event changed my life. I had always, as most people, been a skeptic regarding UFO sightings. But now I know that what I saw I have never seen before and probably never again.

I wish I knew what it was. I remember thinking why would something that big and silent have such highly visible lights. Thinking that a higher intelligence would have some cloaking or camoflauge to it.

This thing was highly visible, but like I stated earlier, I could detect no sound over the idle of my own engine.

Large white glowing disk. Transparent. Smaller craft coming from it [second hand info.

] Tuskegee National Forest, Alabama @ Hwy 85. My daughter was driving East on Hwy 85 @ approx 0100, 13Aug98, when she saw a "Football Field" sized UFO above the trees. Glowing white and "hollow" inside.

Other small craft were seen coming from it. She's moved out of state. If you're interested, I'll ask her to write up some better details.

UFO sighting in Athens, Alabama The object moved from the southwest toward the northeast for about 10 seconds than then shot off into the northeast but also toward higer altitude at an amazing speed. It appeared to be disk shaped and shiny. It made no sound, but the air did feel odd.

Like a sudden increase or decrease in air pressure and moisture. Not sure which. Happened in late afternoon.

8 Tentcle type things made of beams attached to a circular craft. I wasnt sure about actual time but i remeber it well. I was scared the Object(UFO) was circular and had 8 tentacle things (machinary) it looked like a metal octopus with beams and stuff.

I was at work when I noticed what appeared to be a tower which was southeast from my location.It had a red flashing light on the top and two white lights below.I didn`t remeber a tower in that direction but didn`t think that much about it.

Several minutes later the white light in the middle moved up to the flashing red light at the top and the red light changed to white.There were then two lights which started flashing very fast and then they vanished.I called 31 news and they said they recieved several calls about this and they had no idea what it was.

red ball of light hovering and moving without sound, shot sparks which produced three white lights that formed a vertical formation under red light Red ball of light hovering and moving about without sound, first thought it was fireworks because of the date. However, the red ball appeared to shoot white sparks that produced three white lights that formed a vertical formation under red light. Then thought that my wife and I were seeing things and assumed the lights were a radio tower in the distance, but the formation started to move.

At that time our neighbors came out of the house and witnessed the object in the sky. At that time the white lights disappeared and the red light moved about the sky unlike any conventional aircraft I have ever seen. Then the red light appeared to head straight down into the ground, but could have gone past our view of the horizon.

This sighting was about 20 minutes total. I am an engineer, wife is a dental tech and neighbors are stock brokers.

Blacker than black, shape changing floating object. I was sitting on Monte Sano Mountain at an overlook facing the north. A black non-reflective object floated up out of the base of another mountain north of my position about a mile away from me.

The object was diamond shaped as it floated up slowly rotating and hovered above the tree line. As the diamond object hovered, rotating slowly, it began to change its shape into different geometrical shapes very fast ending into a multi-pointed star. Like a christmas tree star.

Then slowly rotating, the object floated back down into the trees, disappearing. It never changed color, remaiming black and I couldn't see any reflections at any time. It seemed to soak up light which made it seem blacker than black.

Two connecting crafts brighten and shoot off! When I was 15, I was laying on a raft in the pool looking up at the sky. The time was like 9:00 or 9:30. I was looking up at the sky and noticed a very bright dot in the sky(like the stars) was moving i know that it was not an airplane.

Then another dot moving toward it. When they came in contact together they became one big bright light and then shot off in the sky. After i had asked my cousin if she seen it and her reply was yes we went inside.

I have seen many events like flying objects in the sky since i was 12 but this particular one shows me that their is other life out their.

traveling north bound I59 at or about 12:35hrs, I was looking for bears in the air when I saw this u.f.o.

in the sky doing what air craft dont, It was in my sight for about 3:mics traveling in a east by north eastren direction; Im A truck driver ;. I know saw was not of earth!. because I saw the same thing when I was 8 years of age, check your files detroit.
