Bright bluish white light moving north, then east, leaving bluish trail behind, rolling over and disappeared. I am a UFO skeptic. I have an Assoc.

degree in Science and Bachelors Degree in Nursing. I am a 53 year old grandmother of 5. I do not know exactly what I saw.

I could not sleep this night. I stepped outside onto the patio facing south. I looked up thinking to myself that the stars were so bright and pretty.

I also remarked allowed to myself "Well Lord, the stars are still in the sky". At that moment I saw what I thought at first to be a falling star. However, what at first appeared to be a star, was extremely bright bluish white.

It appeared to be coming directly at me very fast, then turned east while at the same time coming closer. Then, all of a sudden the 'star' grew in size, appearing like an irregular oval-shaped rock, still bright, but appearing to be sort of 'bumping' going slightly up an down, slightly losing speed, toppling/rolling over, and leaving behind a bluish white trail (similar to a chem trail). Then the object disappeared instantaneously.

I stood there trying to memorize exactly what I saw. My first analysis was that it was probably a meteor/asteroid? I also expected to hear something about a meteor thumping into some farmers field. Nothing.

So thought I would report what I observed, hoping perhaps that someone else saw the same thing.

LARGE DARK DISK SHAPED OBJECT WITH VERY BRIGHT LIGHT SEEN IN DAYLIGHT-HAVE VIDEO PROOF About 12:45 pm my husband yelled for me to come outside, what I saw was shocking and disturbing a very large, dark colored disk shaped object was hovering in the sky just south of my home. The object seemed to move in all directions(swoop from side to side and upside down) at times it looked as if it were floating then it would very quickly and smoothly fly further south and then come back. At one point the object seemed to be on it's side with the top facing us while in that position a very bright white light came from the object.

After a couple minutes the object slowly moved further up and further south, my husband ran in to get the camcorder and shot approx 15-20 seconds of footage before the object was blocked by trees and no longer in view. We have shown the footage to several people all were shocked and believe what they saw was a UFO.

Film is seen by who knows how many hundreds of people and is considered to be authentic & has been determined that it is not a Hoax. It needs to be noted that the film shows exactly as what is described. I have seen the film also, many others have too.

It is not mentioned but needs to be - from what I heard and understand, this film was sent into an agency (unknown) for authentication & analysis. I beleave the couple got the tape (or a copy of) back in February or March of 2003. The determination was that the film & the object in the film were not staged and is not a hoax but in fact is (1) one of best footage's taken of an actual UFO.

It was also mentioned that this footage is being considerd to be possibly the best footage ever filmed of an authentic Unidentified Aircraft hoovering. How am I able to back this report??? Because the film was on all 4 Local News Channels for the evening news. I understand that it actually made National & had made International News.

BRIGHT LIGHT CHASED BY AIRCRAFT. WENT OUT SIDE AND LOOKED UP DUE WEST,NOTICED ALOT OF BLINKING AIRCRAFT LIGHTS.THOUGHT TO MYSELF THATS UNUSUAL FOR THIS AREA WE DONT GET MUCH AIR TRAFFIC HERE.

AIRCRAFT WERE IN A FORMATION HEADING NORTH.LOOKED ABOVE AIRCRAFT AND AHEAD OF THEM AND NOTICED A CIRCLE OF YELLOWISH AND ORANGE LIGHT QUIET A BIT BIGGER THEN THE AIRCRAFT.IT THEN DAWNED ON ME THAT THE AIRC,WERE CHASING THIS LIGHT.

THE LIGHT ACCELERATED AND CONTIUED NORTH .THEN IT STARTED GOING EAST.IT WAS RAPIDLY LEAVING AIRC BEHIND.

I OPENED THE BACK DOOR AND HOLLERED AT THE GUYS AND FOUR CAME OUT TO SEE IT.THE LIGHT THEN SWUNG SOUTH AND APPEARED TO BE GOING EVEN FASTER.THERE WAS NOW NO SIGN OF ANY AIRC.

THE LIGHT STAYED ON A SOUTHERN PATH UNTIL IT WAS TO FAR AND WENT INTO CLOUDS.THESE BY THE WAY WERE THE ONLY LITTLE PATCH OF CLOUDS VISIBLE TO US.REST OF THE NIGHT SKY WAS VERY CLEAR.

rather large cigar shaped object photographed from airplane window Saturday Oct 11 I was on a plane from Las Vegas to Minneapolis. About 1 pm the pilot put on the seatbelt sign and told us we were just on the edge of a cold front that was passing through Minneapolis and we may experience a "few bumps." I thought I would snap a picture of the clouds we were above just for a future screensaver.

I must add that about 30 mins earlier I nudged my wife to see a passing airplane because I'm always in awe of seeing a plane pass in the opposite direction. The sense of speed one gets is amazing. The passing plane also produced a great contrail.

Like I stated, I turned my digital camera to the window, and as I was framing the shot I caught a flash of what I thought was a reflection from the wing. I snapped the shot and immediately took the camera down and checked the shot in the camera's screen. The Sony camera (DSC-1) has a very small screen and since I was not wearing my reading glasses, I was only able to view the basic composition and exposure.

Satisfied, I put the camera away and enjoyed the rest of the flight. The next day I downloaded all my shots from the trip (70+) with the flight shot being the last one. When it popped up on the screen I was shocked at what I saw.

There in the distance was an object forward of the right wing. I describe it as cigar shaped, with 3 areas of brightness along its edge and what appears to be a darker area barely visible at its mid section along the top edge. The object also has a yellowish glow around it.

For a fact I know there were no other aircraft (planes) within the area at the time, because after the few seconds it took to check the camera I returned to gazing out the window, I saw nothing. I have the shot. I am reluctant to show it beyond those I've shown it to already.

I don't need to be suspect, however I would certainly rest easier if I knew what I captured with my camera. Thank you. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous.

Very bright light 4x size of Mars. I was returning to my house after having shut chicken house up for the night when i saw this large (approx. 4x the size of Mars) bright steady light moving south easterly from the north and as it neared the proximity of the full moon, it faded from sight.

I'm guessing I observed it for approximately 20-25 seconds as I stood still and watched to see if it became visable again. It didn't. I returned to the house to write down the sighting and went back outside to observe the moon and Mars as it's a gorgeous quiet night.

The object was approximately 25-30 degrees from the eastern horizon.

The motionless objects sparkled like jewels,then came together and back to formstion in a split second. I was unloading the 4-runner and looked sse and noticed a very bright light that seemed to get even more intense and puse back to just extremely bright. Colors at the center changed quickly.

Blue,red,silver,orange. It was like a jewel or prizm spinning. It was low on the horizon, not moving, I got my girl friend out side.

Then I noticed that 3 more of these objects had the same type of colors pulsing but not nearly as intense as the lowest one. They were far lower in the sky than stars you could discern easily. The three lower intensity ones emitted a gold to bronze color so at first I thought them to be satilights and went back to watching the lowest and brightest one.

They were all in a formation of a square. The brite one at 10-15 deg obove horizon and the one on the right was to the lower right of Orions belt. Suddenly they came together and went back as quick as the shutter of a camera could click.

They must have covered thousands of miles and back to their original formation in a split second. Now the lowest one got even brighter and looked like the Christmas star depicted in drawings with the rods of light or energy being expelled in every direction at the same time the other three seemed to mellow to a redish-gold color like they were cooling off. I called 911 and asked the dispatcher if any one else had reported an unusual event in the SSE sky and she told me no.

I know what I saw.

Black flying object beside our van. My husband and I were driving north from Hwy 6 headed to I-80. An approx 6 ftx6 ft (but shaped more like an octagon) flying black object came flying beside our van from the west, I could not see the whole object, but it appeared to undulate as it flew within arms length from our vehicle.

No noise was heard from the object, but it scared the daylights out of us. A car was coming over the hill towards us from the north, and the object fly straight up, and was gone. Our estimated speed prior to the appearance of the object was 60 mph, which increased to 80 mph in our panic of the object.

It stayed right next to the van for 30-45 seconds but it seemed like longer. We went back to where the object had been next to us, to try to locate the object. We wanted to be sure it was not a piece of dark plastic, cardboard or something that could be explained.

We drove back and forth down that stretch of road partially in the ditch searching and could not find anything that could explain what had just happened.

Large, flying "T". While camping at Two Rivers state rec area, my stepmom, neighbor & myself saw what appeared to be a flying capital "T". The "T" was in all red lights and flew upright, so that the crossing of the "T" was at the top.

It flew in past the campsite from the west, headed a mostly eastward direction. It was quite large, possibly as large as a commercial jet, standing on it's tail. It flew silently.

strange orange lights in the night sky I am a police officer in west point nebraska so my annonimity is essential. I and another officer were doing security for a high school football game, when off to the east we noticed what appeared to be a orangish light that seperated in to 4 seperate lights. The light were in a diagnal straight line.

when the light on the right side would go out another would appear on the left, giving the appearance that the lights where traveling accross the sky. I observed another light appear to the lower left of the set of 4. The lights were visible for about 5 to 10 min and then went out.

We observed them re appear again about 5 min later. When the lights re appeared I was looking at them through my binoculars. They were smaller white lights in the area that i could see, but did not appear to be aircraft lights.

I am not sure what they were. I at first thought maybe they were flares from military type aircraft. I talked with some ex milatry people about what military flares look like.

I have been told that they burn out fairly quickly, where these lights seem to stay visible for quite some time.

Observed bright object increase in luminosity and fade(like explosion) At 9:02cst I was looking up off of my balcony while I was smoking a ciggarette and saw what appeared to be a very bright star at about 60 to 75 degrees in the southern part of the sky. This 'Star' was very bright, as bright as Mars is at the present time, which is what attracted me to it. I thought that this 'Star' was Mars but I knew that mars was more to the SE, as I found on a quick look in that direction.

The 'Star was also a bright Blue-White color. As I watched, the luminocity of this 'Star' doubled and then tripled, all in the space of less than a second. after that it seemed to fade inward, with the center of it being the last to disappear.

All of this happened in the space of 1 to 4 seconds. It looked like an explosion at an extremely high altitude. I heard no report or concussion.

Blue disk appears to explode shooting blue light toward ground. I was westbound on I-80 west of Lincoln, Nebraska early in the morning of the Sept. 14th.

I was watching, what I thought was the planet Mars, as it was the brightest light in the sky to the left of the road. I was wondering where the moon was in relation to it, as I had recently observed them together and this made me start to wonder if this was Mars? As I was watching this 'light' a large object, either a disk at an angle, or a cigar shape, appeared out of nowhere just below the light. It was bright blue and as quickly as it appeared, blew up? shooting out a blue light toward the ground.

There appeared to be dust or particles left in the area it had just occupied? All this happened in a very short period of time- almost instantly and startled me so badly, I pulled off on the shoulder of the road to regain my composure. I still kept looking at the light which now appeared to be pulsing and of different colors. I took out my digital camera and filmed the pulsing light for a few seconds.

I took some stills that later showed orbs in the vicinity also. Vehicles on the other side of the road were stopped also, but continued on before I had a chance to ask them if they saw what I saw.

Two unidentifiable crafts "playing" over Omaha, that changed color and emitted no sound. I was standing on my deck, facing south. I noticed two objects in the sky near the horizon line.

Both appeared to be stationary at first. I thought they were just two planes in the distance, but then thought they were choppers cause they weren't moving. That's when the lights struck me as odd, they didn't blink on and off like on most planes and helicopters.

They sort of pulsed from dim to bright like the rythm of a heart beat. And there were a lot more lights on these things than I've ever seen on a plane. I asked my brother to come out and take a look, that's when they started to finally move.

One stayed stationary just above the horizon and the other began an upward climb, but it didn't just go straight up. It curved on an arching path up and over the stationary one. I would put money on it being a perfect half circle of motion with the stable craft at the circle's center.

After it completed it's trip up and over it started to move in our direction. At this point everyone in my house was on the deck watching. It moved real smooth like it was just gliding across the sky.

We were all dead silent, just watching this thing coast toward us. We all swear that it didn't make a sound, I mean nothing. No rotor blades chopping through the air, no propeller sound, not even an engine- just dead quiet.

and it just kept going, this thing flew right over my building and we watched it go. The one that had been stationary now started to move off towards the north-east and it glided silently as well, right on out of sight. My family has military background, and I've spent my fair share of time on the flight line, and I have never seen anything like it.

Flash explanation I have come to speculate that what I witnessed the night of my report of a flash, is none other than what is considered to be a Cosmic Burst as defined by Astrophysasist (please correct my spelling). I saw a special on Iowa public television and this fits the perfect explanation of what I witnessed. Supposidly these are very rare to be witnessed by the human eye.

A BRIGHT YELLOW BURST of light 3" in diameter - then a small white light NOT A FLASH.BUT A BURST of light. Ever since my report June 21st of this year I find myself watching the sky almost nightly.

Me and my girlfriend were staying at a small lake cabin that a co-worker is letting us use while he is out of town. This is about 15 miles west of Omaha. We had taken an air mattress to the dock and laid back so I could watch a star filled sky like no other as you can imagine)(12am).

Not alot except for meteors, satallites and the I think I saw somethings that you aren't sure if you did or didn't see it. By 3:30am she was asleep and I was just staring into the East Northeast direction approximately 30 dgrees down from the straight above position. In a split second I witnessed a large busrt of yellow light in a perfect circular shape looking to be 3" diameter from my point of view.

This was definately out in space outer earth atmosphere or further. 1 Second later immediately below & to the right of where this occurred I saw a white flash of light about the size of what the International Space Station looks like going overhead. I sat up saying "what the **** was that?!" I startled her out of her sleep and she asked "what?" I told her to turn and look - I had seen the small white flash again only this time it was 45 dgrees to the right of its original postion.

Both times it had flashed on for approximately 1 sec. As she became more awake I pointed to the area that the light would hopefully show again. Of course it didn't.

This was the most spectacular thing I have ever witnessed - better than my June 21st sighting. I would love to be hypnotized and taken back to the 24th burst of light and have the description of what I see recorded. If it was a star exploding which I doubt is there any place I can inquire that would know.

I truely beleave that what I witnessed was the burst of an alien craft coming out of light speed or thru a worm hole or teleportation burst of some sort. I am not nuts and could not beleave what I saw. I know others had to see this.

p! lease help explain what I saw and are there any other reports -EVER - that report the same burst - size - perfect circular shape - no after effect illumination or glow - I have not reported this to anyone.after all I wouldnt blame you if even you didnt beleave me.It does sound far fetched but it is the truth & like I said before - hynotized me.

I am a student at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. I am now home for the summer and when I got home from work one night I saw three objects in the sky. They had kind of a red glow and they seemed to be moving in a coordinated pattern, kind of like they were looking for something.

They made no noise that i could hear and were flying pretty low to the ground. They were too far away to discern what the shape of the objects were. They were moving pretty fast and all three of them were kind of zig zagging as they went along.

When attempting to photograph "stars" next to the moon, we captured something entirely different with almost perfect geometric shapes. Driving SB from Scottsbluff, NE towards Kimball, noticed what looked like one very orange star next to the moon, after observation, appeared to be anywhere from one to five orange stars clustered to the moon, curious, we photographed the moon. When picture was downloaded on computer, orange stars weren't visible, HOWEVER down below the moon is a perfectly round white circle and off to the right are also strange circular shapes which weren't seen by us at all when we were observing the moon.

Whats strange is when you zoom in on the lower circle you can see an almost perfect looking triangle in the middle, zoom back out and the circular shaes to the right almost appear to be trails (?) of the lower, smaller circle. Someone said it was probably a star but I tried to take photos of stars later and they do not look like these circular shapes. Later we recalled dashboard lights had blinked off three seperate times on the new veicle we were driving.

14 Total Craft (Disc's) sighted, 3 Formations of glowing Disc's, (3) - (5) - (5) and a single one that was reddish Went out to smoke a cigerette and get boots out of the truck. Looked up and saw at first what I thought was a satellite and then noticed a 2nd light right behind it and one to the east of the 2nd one. These 3 were a pure white light color moving at a high rate of speed.

Moving SSE to NNW. As they got to the north (3sec) I looked straight back up and saw a formation of 5 Disc's as if following or chasing the group of 3, same speed if not faster. These had an aura or glowing haze on the outer edge with a glowing circular haze in the center.

They did not break formation. I ran in the house, yelled to 2 friends, ran back out, looked up and saw a 2nd formation of 5 Disc's with the same aura and haze moving in the same direction and speed, this group though changed into a triangular formation and back by the time they got to the north. Approximately a minute later a single disc, looked to be the size of the first 3 only an off white with reddish tint, same speed and direction was seen.

I've always wanted to see a UFO, never have except for books and pictures, now I have and dont know who to tell or what to do except enter this report. Hopefully others saw tonight what I saw. Nebraska or South Dakota.

A gelatinous lighted object in the midwest Several years ago, in late spring or early summer, I was sitting on my friend's deck with him and his young son (age 10). We always liked to sit there and watch for satellites as they passed by and see how many we could find - making it a contest to see who could spot one first. As we peered upward - something caught our eyes, much lower, closer to the horizon.

We were sitting on the deck facing south when an object drifted across our field of view. It traveled from east to west, slowly, not changing speed, or direction of travel, remaining in a straight line. This was easy to determine as it moved in a direct line above the utility wires in the alley, in front of us.

It was approximately twenty degrees directly above the horizon. I could not say how far away or how large the object was. There was absolutely no sound coming from it.

Normally, when one of us located a satellite - we would call out that one had been discovered one and point directly above us to show the others where it was. Most of the satellites were moving in a south to north or north to south trajectory. However, when we saw this object, nobody said a word.

All of us saw it at once, not like the satellites, when the others would sometimes have problems finding it. All three of us picked it up at the same time, which was strange because normally we were straining our necks to look straight up, not directly in front of us. As the object crossed us from left to right, each of us turned our heads in unison as it passed.

Shocked, somebody said, "Did you see that?", "Yeah, what was it?", "I have no idea." Now, the hard part. I have seen plenty of photos and video of strange objects in the sky before.

This was completely different from anything I had seen documented before. It did not have what could be considered an straight edge outline. I know this sounds weird but, the only thing I think of that would describe it - is either a giant Amoeba or Jellyfish.

It appeared gelatinous in form. The object appeared transparent in color because it seemed like you could "see through it". If that is not strange enough, the object had what I can only describe as five very dim lights emitting inside of it.

These were not random lights. Three of them were vertical, in a perfectly straight line, close together. The other two were horizontal behind the vertical lights.

The best way I can describe it is - imagine a capital letter "T" laying on it's side, with the top or the "cross" of the "T" in the lead. The lights did not move - nor did they twinkle or change color. I have never observed anything like that before, neither have my friend and his son.

Of us three, I am the only believer of "other craft" but, that night we all agree that we all saw something. Never knew who I could tell this to till I became a fan of George Noory and listened to Mr. Davenport on his show several times over the years since.
