In the picture it looks like it is emitting light, aura, a haze and definitely a trail. The object is dark against the sky. Looking at pictures of my father's funeral, we noticed something cigar shaped in the picture.

It left a light blue trail in the picture and it was dark in the center and red and orange around it. My son took a digital picture of the original print to zoom in and check it out; it is very odd and something is definitely there; it is on the print and has not been added, or played with to change the print. No one at the funeral heard or even saw this; this was just brought to our attention as we were looking at the pictures recently.

The background is the sky, some small hills/mountain, trees, etc, taken from the city cemetery. I have the picture and would be willing to send it in for you to research. This has been 10 years later and odd that none of us noticed this til now.

On my way to work at 0410, I witnessed a pulsating, green orb descend diagonally in front of me. As I was going to work at 0410, I observed a green, pulsating orb descending diagonally downward. The orb had a large bright center with its edge brightness kind of looking misty or foggy.

The green orb pulsated slowly but it descended very rapidly. It disappeared before it touched the ground.

Since 1996, we have seen UFOs w/flashing red, blue, green, & white lights circle our house apx. 2 miles above us onece every month. Since 1996, we have seen UFOs with flashing red, blue, green, and white lights circle our house apx.

2 miles above us onece every month. They come around between the hours of 9pm and 2am. When we flash small laser lights at them, they come closer.

They stay in the same spot for hours at a time and alternate directions every 15 minutes or so. They are tilted sideways and appear to be sousers. There is a local private airline a mile from us and they have said nobody flies that time of night (it is too risky).

They do not leave untill the morning dew starts to fall about 4 hours before sunrise. Onece they had flashed a pure yellowish-white light down for a few seconds then left. Both my grandfather and I had blacked out for a few seconds yet were still standing when we snaped out of it.

There is a big spot in our back yard where we had to replant the grass in result of this light. We have taken pictures, but everytime we try to get them developed, the place we take them to refusses to give them back to us and will not say why. Over all, we have unknown visators every month since 1996.

On a more personal note: I would like to know why they keeping around our house, but I don't know how to get them down here to ask them that. ((NUFORC Note: We wonder whether celestial bodies, perhaps twinkling stars, might have been the cause of the sighting(s). Just a guess.

There were two crafts hovering for several hours. At 1:00 am my husband went out to bring in wood for the fire. It was very cold and the air was frozen.

He came running back in after a few minutes and said come out here and look ! I went outside and there in the next ten acres of land adjoining our property was two UFO`s. It was a clear night, craft were due East from us,They had slits in the windows, blinking lights and appeared like a veil of sorts was around them and we got the impression that they thought they could not be seen. WE live in a high valley with no tree`s.

WE have the Castle Mountains that are about 11/4 mile from our log home to the base of the Mountains. The craft were between here and there with no buildings or houses in between this area. WE watched them for several hours and they just hovered there.

It was very cold so we could only stay outside for short periods but they were there until about 4 am.

Red Orb flew over our vehicle In Early November of 2003 my friend and I were driving home down Foys Lake highway headed back toward town passing Lone Pine state Park. We both witnessed a orange/pinkish red colored sphere/orb slowly fly over the roadway above my vehicle and continued north over lone pine state park. It accurately moneuvered ten to 15 feet above the tree line as it fly up and over the mountains.

We watched it fly out of vision toward flathead lake. One of the craziest things I have ever seen. We got a real good look at it up close when it flew over the car.

It was probably 5 feet in diameter and seemed semi transparent.

Round green sphere, dropping beind the mountains, and landing. I was driving on hwy94, and in the middle of the night about 12:00 midnight I saw a "greenish"round fireball, over some mountains. It just "materialized" and did not show as a meteor or anything.

It was a definate "round" object that went "straight down" behind the mountains, doted with small cabins. Its was a clear night and the moon a full. It had a flame, above the round green sphere.

It went down straight. No, fireworks, or show, but a weird glow. There was a few trucks on the why94, at the time.

It was large, as big as a two story home, at arms leagth it was as large as a nickle. The flame was, white, and the green object clear. It went down, very fast, not at an angle.

I was alone, and it did not, come into the air, like a shooting star, would, this was very different. I live in North Dakota, and see these things but not, like this one. Needless to say, it was interesting.

Huge silent triangle flew from the mountains to the west heading east My husband and I were sitting outside smoking our last cigarette for the evening. We noticed a huge dark object emerge from over the Bitterroot Mountains. At first it was just the fact that you couldn’t see the stars.

We have very little light pollution and you can see lots of stars. As it moved closer, we realized how massive it truly was. It was completely black, blacker than the night sky, no lights, no noise.

Just a football field sized triangle flying towards us. It was moving fairly slow. We started discussing the incredible size and how something that big wasn’t making any sound.

We continued watching it as slowly moved to the east.

3 chevron shaped objects flying in formation that disappeared Husband and wife observed a formation of 3 chevron shaped objects moving in conjunction with each other; not something an aircraft would do, more like a helicopter, but more agile. We were facing north; skies were clear and sunny. There was no sound, no vapor trails, or visible exhaust of any kind.

Husband got a brief look through binoculars before the craft went behind a sign obstructing our view. Though viewed only briefly through 8X binoculars the craft appeared to have light colored (perhaps silver) drop shaped wings. Where the wings joined was a central area that was much darker than the wings with what was perhaps a cockpit in the center.

We know this sounds like a bird or a plane but the pattern of movement was far too agile for a plane and the objects appeared too large for the apparent distance to be birds. Once they went behind the sign obstructing our view (which was very close relative to the distance of the objects) we waited for them to reappear but they didn't! The objects were too high (our viewing angle was at least 30 degrees) to have dropped below the horizon and there were no other obstructions or clouds to block our view. The husband is a ((deleted--businessman)) and the wife is an ((deleted--public employee with considerable responsibility).

Both are in their middle 50's.

Several nights of sightings Last night we saw a bright light around 2330 this is around the same time that we saw it before a couple of nights ago. The light is in the same area as before also. I walked over to my neighbors house and we all watched it with our binoculars for an hour or so.

This time we were able to see a red light that seemed to change positions around the light at times. It would move slowly around in the same basic vicinity. I don't know who to report this to so I decided to sign on again.

Myself and my husband and two of our neighbors all saw it. None of them belived it to be a satillite. It is also back tonight again a bright light same approximate time and area in the sky.

So we've seen it three separate nights in the last week. ((NUFORC Note: We suspect that the sighting may have been caused by a celestial body, either a star or a planet. PD)).

I viewed a small, strange metallic aircraft positioned just under a commercial jet in flight. on a commercial flight from Seattle to Chicago, approx mid-day, I was seated in a window seat on the right side of the plane. I observed another airliner come into my view, going the opposite direction from my plane.

I had a very clear view of the plane for a few seconds as we passed each other. I was surprised to see a completely separate, smaller metallic aircraft positioned just under the commercial jet at the rear section. I have never seen any other aircraft with this craft's design.

Its design revealed an obviously high level of precision, with no visible windows, and some sort of short, swept back wingspan. The craft appeared to be drafting the larger airliner, and very capably flying along with the highest part of its fuselage and tail area approximately 3 feet from the bottom of the airliner. The craft appeared to be a light brownish gold color.

This is first report I have filed with this information. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) In response to your questions: The jet above the craft in question was a large commercial airliner. It was definitely not a USAF plane, and there was clear daylight between the two crafts.

I'm guesstimating that the unidentified craft was approximately 20' to 25' in length, and about 6' vertical height at its thickest point. Its outline from the side view could be described as a hard edged, horizontal teardrop. ((name deleted)) ((END)).

Bright light in the sky/ with binoculars there were five lights in a row with two sets of two in the center like a cross I noticed a yellowish bright light in the sky out my bedroom window. Then I noticed it wasn't moving like a plane would so I watched it and it would move only slightly then be still again. This caught my attention so I woke my husband up and we got out our binoculars and when you looked through them you could see a row of five lights then almost two sets of two from the center of the object like a cross almost.

I didn't know who to report such a sighting to so I never called anyone. I watched it move very slowly over a period of hours approx. 1120p to 330am until it was out of sight.

I don't know what a satillite looks like and whether it has anything to do with the fires that we have been experiencing, but thats what we saw. ((NUFORC Note: Given the long duration of the sighting, we believe that the first possibility that would have to be ruled out. PD)).

bright oval light seen. Just after 10:30 pm looking north and east of town, my wife and I were observed an oval light moving west to east over the valley. At first we thought it was an aircraft since it was coming from the direction of the airport.

However, with the aid of binoculars and telescope we did not see any flashing strob lights nor was there any sound like with the two planes and one jet we observed afterwards. The object was brighter than any star or planet in the sky, flying horizontally at approximatly 30 degrees above the horizon. The object was above the 12000 elevation of the partly cloudy sky yet was still very clear even with the light smoke from distant forest fires and the effect of light from the town.

object moved in odd directions and amazing manuvering ablitites and speeds sitting out in a medow i looked up and saw somthing move in the sky. at first i thought it was a satalite but then it started to move in ways a satalite could never move. and then it picked up speed it moved diagonaly and then up and down and circuler.

it was a bright white to blue color. it happened for about 10-15 min.

Saw something wierd, got it on video. Hello, let me start by saying I do NOT even believe in aliens and ufo's, but I saw something really weird about 3 days ago, and then this morning at 5 am I went out to turn off our sprinkler, and I saw it again. So I woke up my husband and took out the video camera.

I do not know what other explanation there could be, at 5 am, I can see no stars, the sky is getting bright, and here is this large bright light near the moon. The first time I saw it it was not near the moon, and in a totally different area of the sky. I can see it with my naked eye as I do not own a telescope, it has a yellowish color to it compared to the moon, and I got it on video for about 10 minutes.

I am open to suggestion as to what it may be, and what I should do from here. I live in Hungry Horse Montana if that will help you determine the location of what I was viewing and that is at 5 am Mountain time. It was to the right of the moon about 2 inches (visually with my fingers) so whatever distance that would be maybe you know.

I saw what was either a craft shaped like a triangle, or three seperate crafts, flying in formation. I was watching the sky last night, as it was a very clear and nice night out to be star gazing. (I was waiting for my husband to come home from work, and after that, he was going to stop at the grocery store.

He worked until 11:00 PM.)I saw something move in the sky.(Which was not too unusual, there seemed to be a lot of what must have been satellites moving around everywhere, last night.

) I saw what looked to be one craft, high in the sky, moving down directly South. It appeared to be three white lights formed in a triangle, moving together perfectly. It moved really fast, faster than the airplanes that I see coming in from a far distance, and the lights stayed steady, no blinking or changing colors.

I heard no sound, but it was pretty far away. (We are about a mile away from the airport, and see a lot of planes coming and going.) My dog was outside with me, and did not act any different than usual.

It slowed down a lot when it came down further from the sky, and started heading North-East. I was not looking through a telescope or binoculars or anything, I just had my glasses on. It seemed at one point, that maybe there were actually three lights, as one or more would move a little, but it was very hard to tell.

I have no idea what this was, but it was so different from the lights I normally see. If it was indeed one craft, it must have been pretty big. I was still watching when my husband came home, and was knocking at the front door.

(I was on the back steps, with the back door open.) I had to leave to go open and un-lock the front door for him, and when I came back, I could not find them. I just kept thinking about them (Or it.

) today, and thought maybe I should report it in case someone else saw what I did. I saw a jet today, and thought of how slow it was moving compared to what I saw last night. I asked my husband how fast he thought it was going,(The jet today.

I looked at the clock when I came through the kitchen, to unlock the front door for my husband. The lights started out directly overhead my back steps, up high in the sky. The back of my house, where I was on the steps, faces South.

They gradually started to curve slightly to the east. The back steps are facing south. I will scan a drawing of its movement.

I actually had to lay down on the top of the back steps, to watch them better as they descended down. (It was hard to crane my neck at that position sitting upright, until they came down much farther.) I am unsure of how to tell you position coordinates.

I live approximately four miles west of Havre. The night was very clear. I saw no clouds at all.

Also, it was not a perfect triangle, it was more of an isosceles triangle. It was sideways, with the top point of it facing left. Also, I would say the size of one of the lights, was about the size of the airplanes I see from a far distance.

I drove to Fort Assinaboine, thinking that maybe that would help in directions for you. It is 4.3 miles almost directly south of us.

two black objects seemed like they fluttered At approximatly 1820 I was walking north shortly after sunset on a clear evening. I noticed an airliner approaching far to the west. Then I saw what appeared to be two black fluttering objects moving towards the east.

They sort of dipped and weaved across the sky. I noticed what appeared to be a small orange light coming from the rear of the objects. I thought that they were stealth fighter aircraft, however, there were no lights and no sound.

They soon disappeared in the east. An commericial airplane took off from Logan Internation above the rims about this time. This was the second time in two weeks that I have seen a strange object(objects) at the same location, at the same time (1820), moving in the same direction.

Glowing object appears to be luminiscent balloon but dissappears rapidly to the SE at high speed. 6:20pm Billings, Montana. Object looked like a ballon caught in the tree.

It glowed and seemed to be aluminated by the light of the moon(clear night but only a crescent moon). Object moved across to the other side of the tree. Really looked like a glowing baloon.

Object then moved away and actually was not near the tree. Object then appeared to be a more oval shape with a reddish/white light appearance. Object which originally appeared to be just above the ground then moved upward to the east and seemed to reach an altitude of several thousand feet, like an airliner.

The object then moved fast towards the east at what appeared to be the same altitude of a commercial jet, however, there was no sound at all. The object dissappeared to the SE.

Fireball object with long, flowing tail Yellowish orange fireball with tail appearing like a comet streaking across the west to south sky. After a few minutes, it appeared to drop straight down, and the tail become longer and brighter. At one point, the object stopped, and the tail disappeared while the object just hovered for a minute or two, before resuming the drop and the tail resumed.

It was just like pictures of a comet, however, this was at pre-dusk with lots of light and weather was clear and no clouds were in the area. There was no noise, no planes in area, or jets from military base located 110 miles southwest of this location. There was no mention in local news, newspaper, radio, or t.

v., etc. There was no background interference as this was in the sky above the horizon (no trees, wires, homes, etc) and no other visible object(s) in the sky in the area of this sighting.

((NUFORC Note: We wonder whether the sighting could possibly be ascribed to the illuminated contrail behind a high-flying jet aircraft. We have received many such reports, and many east-west air routes are over this part of Montana. Just a surmise, on our part.
